They could not get the TV to operate correctly after multiple visits and something is simple as a TV not working in a five star hotel really upset me. I brought this attention all the way up to the general manager and all he could do is offer me a free lunch. I asked to have one day credited to me for the hassle and not being able to have TV in my room and they rejected the idea so I will never ever stay there again and I have told my friends never to stay there. When you stay at a one star hotel, you have certain expectations when you’re staying at a five star hotel you have certain expectations as well and add a five star hotel you expect them to get things right when you agree.

All staff members were courteous and polite, everyone is willing to help and always ready to provide service. Cleaning our room spot on and they go above and beyond with extra touch of decor and dessert treats every night.
Special mention to Kent not sure if i have the right name but he is the security at front beach… who does not only stand but does more than security making sure all the guest are welcome and picking up trash helping other co workers. I will definitely recommend discovery boracay to my friends from USA

I will be coming back for sure! The staff is outstanding and may be the best I have ever seen at any resort, including the many Four Seasons locations where I have stayed. Very attentive and personal at the highest level. If you appreciate attention to detail, this is the place. The location is perfect. The food is fantastic. Big shout out to Jiggs my beach attendant who made my stay top notch and was always helping me with everything. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Bedding is very comfortable and clean. Snacks and personal touches at every turn. I am certain this will be my first pick every time I come to Boracay. Had I known it was this relaxing and spectacular, I would have reserved the room for 12, rather than 6 days. 5 stars period!!!

My family and I enjoyed this place. This place was very quiet and it’s in station 1. We enjoyed best of both worlds. Station 2 is walking distance or they provided us a free shuttle to go to the D’mall in station 2. The staffs are nice and polite. The breakfast buffet was excellent. the food tastes fresh and delicious. I am giving this place a 9/10 because the hotel gave us a 3rd floor room which was exhausting for us. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Couple getaway, first timers at Discovery.

The service was superb from pick-up to our departure. However, the food could benefit from improvements in flavor. On one occasion, I mentioned that the French fries were not crispy. While the waiter took them back, it was noticeable they simply refried the same batch, because of the color and texture which made it quite hard to bite. It would have been better if a fresh batch had been prepared.

I appreciated that their vans were easily contactable for area transfers, and the service was complimentary. Although, there was a slight misunderstanding among the hotel staff during one of our transfers, but it was quickly and professionally resolved. I recommend providing additional training in handling special guest concerns to further enhance the overall experience. Finally, the process on our way back to the airport was smooth and seamless. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved our stay at Discovery. The staff provided excellent service, especially housekeeping going above and beyond on the turn down service. The staff around the pool and beach areas are wonderful as well. They are always very helpful and very good at anticipating our needs. The location is perfect as it's very walkable to Station 2 but far enough from the busy areas so as not to feel congested. The free shuttle is very convenient and always available for use. Transportation to and from the airport was quick and seamless. The only complaint we have is on the food quality. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as the options didn’t taste fresh and well prepared. I hope they can improve on this to make our next visit truly a perfect stay.

The location and customer service is why you would book here. It is on the quiet side of white beach but still a convenient van ride or etrike away from the action. They pull out all the stops and go above and beyond. Rowel took real good care of us at the beach and Phillip got us a reservation when we needed it.

i like the personnel who are always ready to be of service to clients. I love the delicious their breakfast fares which are always delicious. I love the close proximity of the hotel to the beach and the care they give to beach goers. Our room was spacious and had a private infinity pool making out stay enjoyable. The only thing i found very peculiar for an upscale hotel that was the absence of a microwave oven. We had leftover food from outside and there was no way to heat them up in the morning. i hope they add this service in the future.

I would give it a 5 star rating. The view was fantastic. White sand beach is awesome. Staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. The only I can think of not suitable for seniors are the stairs going to 3rd floor where we at. I requested to be in a room with a view. They tried to get us at ground floor but I declined. We had so much fun in our vacation.

Rooms are ok with 2 major problems;
Very poor sound isolation. All sound from rooms and passage and pool area nearby is coming into room.
Curtains installed in the room is useless as sunlight is getting in room.
Rooms does not have DND signage and thus expect house keeping knocking at the door in the wrong time and they will not stop until you open or they open by master key!
Location and service in general is very good.

Fantastic property in Boracay, Station 1. The only three minor negatives are that the (i) swimming pool is somewhat small, (2) the hotel is directly on the beautiful beach, but there are no loungers or umbrellas. Rather, the hotel provides blankets and you lay down on the sand on them, and (3) food options at the hotel are somewhat limited, and the breakfast options may not be optimal for those used to Marriott, Hilton, or Kempinski breakfast offerings in the USA or Europe. On the positive side, (1) the rooms are very comfortable: we had a 1Br apartment. Two-level loft, with two full bathrooms, and two balconies – one of them humongous, with a large jacuzzi. Very comfortable and well thought-through room arrangements, (2) hotel staff are super pleasant and eager to help, (3) transportation from and to the Caticlan Airport (both bus shuttles and boat transfers) superbly arranged, (4) the beach is gorgeous, and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance on the beach. The hotel provided free shuttle to some areas on the island, including D’ Mall. All in all, Boracay is a beautiful island and I would not hesitate to stay at Discovery Shores Boracay again if my travels bring me back to Boracay sometime in the near future.

I rate this is hotel 10/10. The staff hospitality is exemplary. They clean the room everyday ane refill the amenities without being told. Still water bottles are free and you can ask them to refill anytime. We celebrated our wedding Anniversary there and the staff went above and beyond. We felt so special and loved. We enjoyed their breakfast daily with different variety of foods. Thank you Discovery Shores for the EXCELLENT experience.

Best for families and with kids.
We just did not like our room (king suite) the location was all the way back, the headboard had visible stains and the A/c was not cooling the room enough.

This hotel lives up to its excellent reputation. All the staff members are so polite and attentive to guests needs. Our junior suite is always spick and span. Everything is in good working and physical condition. The hotel spa is amazing. The beach is beautiful, and so is the sunset. The free hotel shuttle makes moving around very convenient and hassle free. I will book this hotel again if ever i come back to Boracay for vacation.

This is an awesome hotel to stay in Boracay if you want excellent customer service, super friendly staff, great facilities, perfect location if you want to stay away from the crowds. From the moment we got off the plane, everything went smoothly to the hotel. I’ve had the best Kalamansi Cucumber welcome drink and their pandesal with dulce de Leche at breakfast was memorable. Lovely resort situated in station 1 which includes a great buffet breakfast, transportation from Caticlan airport (all transfers- namely airport to the port, boat to Boracay island & shuttle to resort- which makes it so easy & convenient amongst the crowds), free shuttle service to D'mall & Station 2, beach towels w/ lounge chairs & water, different pillows you can choose from, private plunge pool, all room amenities like slippers, robes, a safe, bath items, bidet sprayer & plateware. Staff is friendly, gracious, responsive & helpful. Spa onsite was a bonus with an adequate selection of massages, large couples massage room with private shower & very good service. Although resort is large (so getting a room towards the street side can be a little bit of a walk to the beach), its location in Station 1 suit us well, with direct beach access & the Sands restaurant beachside. Suite was clean & spacious and housekeeping / turndown service was on point. Rooftop lounge bar is great for views, happy hour cocktails, sunset, jacuzzi & infinty pool. Several pools, of which the main one is closer to the beach, seemed particularly popular for families/kids. Overall, a wonderful stay & definitely recommend if visiting Boracay.

We stayed at discovery last February to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had a wonderful time. My mom had a hard time walking so the staff was always there to help transport her using a wheelchair. The staff are so nice, helpful and goes the extra mile. From the airport to the resort they are so helpful. The staff even know what my mom likes the 2nd day we were there for breakfast and serves it to her as she has a hard time walking. Even if I never asked for a chair or assistance they were the ones who recommended to use a chair while we were on the sand instead of the lounge so my mom won't have a hard time. The resort was great, food was great they even have taho for breakfast. They even have transportation shuttle if you want to go out. Overall, it was the best vacation experience for me and my mom. I highly recommend this place.

I love the beach of the property . Station 1 have one of the best beaches and not so crowded

The only thing that’s needed is upgrade the bathroom . They have nice bathroom but it needs more maintenance like new grouting and need to upgrade the water drainage of the shower . It gets clogged when raining .

The hotel is right in the beach and the famous Boracay sunset can be enjoyed from the beachside to the 360 roof lounge.
The most impressive got me though is the very personal service my husband and I got from the time we arrived in Caticlan airport ( we were met by they’re rep with cute shell wrist bands to identify us as their guests, escorted to their van where their driver brought us to the small dock where their speedboat team took over our care and safely hit us to Boracay island and from there, their van driver took us to the hotel itself).
Our luggages were taken by their rep from Caticlan airport through all the transfers and we got them promptly in our room already.
From the time of check in, they already asked about our return flight to make sure arrangements were done for a smooth departure.
I was worried that our flight was way too early ( 730 AM) but the Discovery Shores team knew that 530 AM was a reasonable departure and even packed us a light breakfast to go since the buffet started at 6 AM.
The Filipino Hospitality always wins us over! This hotel however definitely is a par above the rest!

Overall was a 10 out of 10. I really like the people working for this hotel. They are so polite, helpful and kind. It was a world class experience. I will definitely go back and recommend this hotel to family members and friends.
The only problem that I had is when they lost my luggage. I got it back after 3 hours.

No more worries from the moment you get out of the airport. Complimentary private van and baot transfers are provided with only the most professional staff assisting you until you reach the hotel. Rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need. Beach front is clean and the hotel serves tasty food and drinks that are worth the price. Would recommend this hotel to everyone i know. Still the best in station 1.

A very recommendable place. Because the room was very beautiful, my boyfriend did not want to go out anymore 🙄😅

We booked Junior suite but the staff offered us a Signature suite. It was very worth it. However, I realized that I will not get any credit from this app for the changing of rooms. Anyway, everything was very good.
One weak point was the hotel should have a regular changing of pillow cases of sofas. My boyfriend said that there's something wrong with the smell. That's the only thing. But the rest was fine. The staffs were very friendly. I like their smiling faces. Kudos!

Loved this hotel. Gen, Rendy, and Jeniel were amazing! Rendy was great with the kids. Even though he was the guard at the pool, he was willing to do anything to assist all of the guests. All of the staff exhibited genuine smiles and greetings, engaged in authentic conversations. The staff of this hotel demonstrated thoughtful service at every turn...get in the beach or the sea and leave your cover up crumpled on your chair, along with your towel, by the time you return your towel will be straightened out and your clothes will be folded and neat on your chair. Feeling thirsty, they will bring you carafes of ice water that will be refilled without you even realizing. Sunglasses need cleaning, no worries, they've got this covered too, they'll be around to ckean them you. Hot, the Evian water face mist will cool you down and the rounds of complimentary snacks poolside are a great touch. Check in will occur directly in your room. While I didn't take advantage of the complimentary welcome foot bath, I was impressed that it was offered. I loved the Pandan water always available in my room. Food at the restaurants were marvelous and were reasonably priced. This property is in Station 1 and is a lot more quiet than Station 2. If I ever return to Boracay, I will definitely stay here again!

Everything is very nice. View from jacuzzi balcony is fantastic! The only thing i dont like is that it is far away from all the good places to eat and far away from all the activities in boracay. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel! Money well spent!

Location is perfect and amazing beach front.
Staff were very nice. Thanks to Benjie he made us feel like celebrities. Very polite, attentive to all the guest, bringing us fresh cold pitcher of water. (Pool staff) he deserves 10 stars.
Enjoyed our 55 inch tv and espresso machine in the room.
Thanks to Cecelia at the buffet breakfast for four days and your smile is contagious in spite of you shift. (Graveyard) wow! Amazing staff everywhere.
