The staff was great, from desk personnel to cleaning staff. Wonderful people. The rooms were exceptionally clean.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi left a lot to be desired. Slow speed, frequent disconnects, and stuttering performance made the visit frustrating. If you have any online meetings, video chats, movie watching on a pad or phone or laptop, gaming, etc --you are entirely out of luck. This is extremely unfortunate in 2026.

I won't book this location again but that is not a reflection on the good people working there.

The location of this hotel was awesome! It is only a two block walk from the Westgate rail stop and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. I when for an event at the Convention Center and it was also a short 2 block walk. I would definitely stay here again!

I booked a corner king room with soaking tub. I was given a standard king room with minuscule tub. They didn’t realize the mistake until after the gave another party the room keys to our room and the walked in on us. I was in the bath and my daughter was alone on the bed and got a fright. Then they wanted us to move rooms. I said no, just charge us for the room we’re already in. It’s bad enough they gave us the wrong room but giving two parties keys to the same room is a huge security problem. I would not feel safe staying here.

Hotel was an active construction site and our room had been so recently renovated that the smell of paint and construction materials and adhesive hadn’t even worn off. We had to leave the windows open all night and it still gave my wife a headache. Had to share the elevator with construction workers, some which clearly had skipped deodorant. Not to mention the jackhammer’s that started at 9 AM the day after the Super Bowl because that’s how you wanna get woken up after a night of drinking.

Also we were not informed of construction noise. We were there for a volleyball tournament and we were in PM pool, which means we didn’t get to bed till late and wanted to sleep in.
The noise was unbearable and we didn’t get the rest and sleep we needed, especially the one who was playing 9 sets of volleyball a day

The room was clean but there is nothing special about this hotel. Convenient location, but parking is a huge hassle and they ran out of valet spaces upon our arrival. Overall, disappointed.

I highly recommend the Paramount Hotel. The room was clean and beautiful; the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. I could walk in every direction because of its central location. Or, I could pick up the light rail or monorail just 2 blocks from the motel. I arrived by light rail from the airport, then left via light rail to the Amtrak station. There’s absolutely no need for a car in Seattle if you stay at the Paramount Hotel.

The room was nice and we loved the hotel location. The thing that dropped our rating was that there was construction going on between 8:30 AM and 6 PM. When we were in the room, we could barely hear the TV unless it was turned all the way up and the sound was a bit annoying. I know it is unavoidable to do construction and updates and it's necessary to keep the hotel looking great. However, I would have appreciated a heads up or a discount (or complimentary breakfast) for the annoyance. Other than that, it was great.

The front desk staff is cool and not very friendly. Not welcoming. They are not well informed of surrounding restaurants and bars and not eager to assist the customer at all.

Frustrating and disappointed. Typically a hotel would include a notice of construction and noise for your stay. Not this time. The construction noise was so loud you couldn’t hear someone talk in your own room. The front desk with corporate professional speak acknowledged the issue. There was no parking on site with valet. We had to go blocks away to public parking. And the simple things like coffee in the lobby — no not this time. How can you be out of coffee at 7:00 am. Our room was clean. No daily service and no waters which we called down for. And the TV didn’t work but was resolved with a call to front desk
We had stayed at this location thru the years but likely will use one of the other many nearby options.

It took forever to get checked in due to system issues, they had construction going on and didn’t proactively communicate it (loud drilling, banging, etc.), was told they were just moving furniture (clearly more than that), and was offered ear plugs instead of a different room or refund to stay at another hotel. It was extremely frustrating after no sleep for 36 hours.
