Stayed here for the fall foliage. Beautiful lodges and the facilities are great. The shuttle service was a huge benefit to get into town.
My only complaint is to the condo itself, 7008 in crystal lodge. The one shower door was falling off the hinge so we didnt use that shower at all. And it was very warm inside, like 80F with no heat on, so we had to keep the windows open.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Those were the only two good things about this unit. All of the furniture was worn out to the point of being uncomfortable. The carpeting was stained and worn. The window blinds and screens were broken. The windows would not close. This was a very neglected unit.

Property is fine, however, our room had broken AC, the TV's didn't work. The 2 windows that actually worked didn't have screens, and the patio door screen was broken. The fireplace didn't turn off, and the bedroom light didn't work.

Very comfortable bed, nice linens, very clean. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen and the large bathrooms. One or two small minor issues -the tv system was complicated and we never really figured it out and the ice maker did not work in fridge. Other than that, we loved it.

This is a quiet resort. We enjoyed our time but did not enjoy the outside guests coming into our porch area. Our room was right by the gondola and all outside guests stood around our porch and some even entered our private area to sit. I had to constantly tell them to move. We couldn’t enjoy using our porch entrance because we were afraid outside guests would enter our room. Other than this inconvenience everything else was quite quaint. Will I stay here again. I don’t think so.

Arrived at night to a dark locked hotel with no staff and no people. The phone rang for over 20 minutes. finally found a small note saying we had to go to a different hotel to check it. That would’ve been great for them to have texted or emailed to me. Furniture is old, screen was ripped out and blowing. Location was great for skiing but service was nonexistent and the property needs some improvement.

Cleanest most accommodating lodge ever! So many amazing things about this place- for starters, it had to be the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. You literally couldn’t find a spec of dust if you tried. The 2 bedroom unit we booked turned out to be 3 bedrooms (3rd bedroom just didn’t have closet or bathroom, but had 2 additional twin beds), it had every kitchen appliance, gadget, tool one could ever want. Our fridge looked like it had never been used. We had a steam shower in the master which was to die for! On site restaurant was amazing. It’s called Sevens and our bartender was a doll! Everything we ordered was too notch as was the view. Tons of family amenities like game room/arcade, outdoor chess and yard games! Def stay here! You won’t want to leave

Love this place

There were no staff since it’s the summer months and they weren’t busy so that’s why I didn’t give excellent.
The rooms were amazing, the beds were like clouds you just sink in and fall asleep fast.
The rooms have no ac so it was a little warm durning the day but night time we put the fan in the window and slept great.
I would stay again. It really was a beautiful condo. We stayed 2 nights.

There is no front desk staff at all. There were no instructions emailed or communicated to us at all, that check in would take place at a different location. The room itself was great. Location was fabulous. However after getting home and checking card statements we found an extra charge from the hotel even though we booked through Expedia. Called them to find out what it was. The lady on the line was super condescending “we have been doing this for a long time”. Excuse me, charging an additional resort fee after the fact is something you’ve been doing for a long time. Congratulations to you, you are exactly the snotty kind of person that gives ski resorts a bad reputation.

This property was terrible. There was no staff at our location. I mean NO ONE. We had to check in at another property and then drive an go find our parking spot and room in an entirely different location. The staff at the other property was rude, the food was cold, and the room backed to the gondola pick up station so it was very loud. NONE of this was mentioned in the advertisement. For the price we paid we should have been told that we would have no one working in our entire facility. No doorman, no valet, no front desk, no concierge. NO ONE! Oh and the room had no hot water. DO not stay at this property.

The front desk of this property is still closed, so you actually have to check in at a different hotel nearby. This was the first of a series of inconveniences because the hotel rooms, amenities, restaurants etc. did not all fall under the same owner/management. My refrigerator's ice/water was out of service so I called the 24/7 number to see where I could get ice. At first they said they could bring some up, but when I gave my room number they realized I was at Crystal Peak Lodge and they said they couldn't bring me anything, and suggested I go to the supermarket. We passed an arcade in the same building as the restaurant affiliated with the hotel and my kids got excited. But apparently the arcade belongs to a different hotel so we couldn't check it out. An indoor pool, hot tubs, and a bowling alley are all available, but they're located at the hotel where you check in, a gondola ride away. The whole thing is odd.

I'm sure for extended stays it might feel like a fun, quirky adventure, but for a quick trip alone with my two small kids (ages 5 & 6), I found it pretty frustrating. Especially on the last day when we skied after checking out so my kids and I were lugging our ski gear around looking for the \"check-in hotel\" front desk so that I could get a temporary access card to get my car out of the parking garage of my hotel - a gondola ride away.

Not convenient experience I expected for the price.

The room was gorgeous and the proximity to the ski-lift was amazing.

Wonderful stay. The only issue was there isn’t any staff at this location. You have to go down to the next location to check in/check out or speak to someone in person during our stay (it may be different later). The resort is beautiful, overlooking the mountains. There is a restaurant on location (Sevens) but for us the menu is limited & the restroom is very far away on another floor, making washing your hands before dinner impossible. Breckenridge has wonderful restaurants in town. There is a shuttle that will take you to Main Street in town. The gondola is right outside to take you to Peak 8 for skiing/snowboarding or to town. The condos are spacious and have everything you need. At over 10,000 ft, I highly suggest getting “Boost Oxygen” cans before going up. Overall, we would highly recommend Crystal Peak Lodge.

There are no staff members on property. Zero. I’m sure it’s because of staffing issues, but still. No one told us. We drove up to a locked hotel with a sign in the window telling us to check in at a different hotel. I asked about housekeeping and they said someone would bring towels and change the trash once a day. Nope. Never happened. Every external door to the hotel was locked. At one point our keys deactivated and we got to stand out in the cold until someone drove over to let us in. I paid $1200/night.

So good, we booked the rest of the week!

We loved this place so much, we ended up booking the room for the rest of the week! Got the 1 bed, 2 bathroom condo for an anniversary trip, and from the view to the decor to the comfort of the room, everything was absolutely wonderful! Also great ski amenities if you are there for the slopes. Room can get a bit warm, but it was very comfortable with opening the windows and balcony door. Staff is also super friendly and accommodating. We will be back next year!

We had a fantastic mid-week stay at the Crystal Peak Lodge during March 2021. This is a true ski-in ski-out experience. We used the well stocked kitchen to make almost all of our meals. The staff were helpful and kind. We had very limited exposure to others, so we felt safe that our risk of contracting COVID was low. We can't wait to visit again in the future.

Crystal Peak Lodge is truly ski in/ski out. If there were snow on the patio and someone holding holding the door, I could have literally skied into the ski storage area located on the first floor. This storage area is about 300-400 ft from the Independence Superchair lift. The resort hot tub was open and by reservation for up to two families and a total of 10 people, due to Covid. Fitness facility was by res. only as well, and only one person. We did not eat at the restaurant at the lodge (The Seven’s), but heard it was good and kid friendly. As far as our individual unit, we stayed in a 2 bedroom. As mentioned in other reviews, this unit was hot at night even though the heat was OFF and it was 10 degrees outside. We opened windows and turned on ceiling fans to cool down the unit. It had a full kitchen and was well appointed with all necessities for cooking. Our faucet had a leak in the head and occ sprayed all over whoever was using it and anything within 5 feet! Front desk was notified and maintenance was on it within 30 min. Speaking of front desk, the staff here was fantastic. They were polite, welcoming, and accommodating. The gondola to town or to the other peak bases picked up 200 ft in the opposite direction from the Independence lift and was very convenient for those not skiing or wanting to ski to get from base to base. We will look in to staying here again when we get back to Breck.

Beautiful, needs some TLC on comfort

While the unit was beautifully decorated and much as shown it needs a little attention. The dining room chairs were uncomfortable. The padding is broken down so you feel the wood frame of the seats when you sit. We would have sat at the granite bar along the kitchen but there was only one barstool which had exposed nails along the foot rail. I ran my foot across them and tore my socks, but luckily did not cut myself. The unit was hot. It was over 76 degrees inside when we arrived. We opened all of the windows and doors to cool it but when leaving had to close it all up as it's on the ground floor and we did not feel safe leaving them open when away. We understand most mountain locations don't have air conditioning as the mountains are normally cooler than the city but the fireplace in the unit had gas going to it and put off a lot of heat even when off that it just reheat the space when closed up. There are ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom you can turn on from the wall switch but no remote control or pull chain to adjust them that we could find (we searched multiple times). The fan in the living room was set to it's highest setting making it loud to watch TV. The light on the living room fan is set to \"on\". It would have been nice to let it run at night but that meant the light was on too while trying to sleep. On the plus, it is beautiful, there was everything we needed in the kitchen and a nice patio with comfy seating to watch the sunrise.

The rooms were very clean, although the furniture could use a refresh. My only complaints are around the beds (very hard and uncomfortable) and the noise.
