Der Steiermark Condominiums are located on Park Avenue on the south side of Breckenridge. The base of Peak Nine including the new Quicksilver Super6 Chairlift, are directly across the street, providing easy access to the slopes.
Historic Main Street, Breckenridge is less than half a block away, with a myriad of shops and restaurants. The building is situated right between the Blue River and a walking path that winds through Breckenridge.
A guests shuttle provides door-to-door transportation to any location in Breckenridge, including the new gondola at the base of Peak Seven. A short walk across the street will bring guests to the base area of Peak Nine and the Quicksilver Super6 Chair.
Peak Nine is the least crowded of all of the areas of Breckenridge Ski Mountain and has runs and terrain parks for every level. The complimentary guest shuttle also provides door-to-door transportation to the Gondola at the base of Peak Seven.
This Der Steiermark studio unit #108, one bathroom is approximately 320 square feet. This unit guests will enjoy a nice view of the Blue River, the Dredge Pond and downtown Breckenridge.

Super clean room, very species for 2 people. It’s in the center of the town, we had everything around us. I loved the fact that we were able to put our car in the garage, we knew we were safe and didn’t have to clean snow off! There are no managers when you get there but they are constantly texting if there was anything needed. Warm water, fridge, stove… everything needed!

Great value! This place is dated, but in a fun, nostalgic way. It has everything you’d need. We stayed in 212. The only complaint from our group was that both bedrooms are bright at night… The downstairs room has blinds on the window, but gets lots of light from the exterior hallway. The upstairs bedroom has a skylight in the ceiling, so you’ll be up with the sun and there’s not really anything you can do about it. Overall, it was a great stay and hard to beat for the price and proximity to the slopes, shops, restaurants, etc. Parking in the downstairs garage is also convenient.

The tv kept going off saying not available for regular channels, and the floor was gritty upon arrival. A condo apartment in Breckenridge. A little dated, but a great location - and the views from the deck were stunning. The bedroom was a bit small and dark (near a door which tended to close itself with a slam late at night and early in the morning). I was grateful to get emailed _detailed_ check in instructions - one of my colleagues also stayed here and did not receive the check in instructions and the _wrong_ information on where to go to check in. That was the travel agents fault, but you really _need_ the instructions emailed in advance.

I did not receive instructions on how to check-in. There is no onsite management. The listing said to go to the wrong address for access. I received an email two hours after I arrived with the correct address to go to for management. They provided keypad information for parking and condo access hours after I arrived in the pouring rain. By then I was soaked. This was listed as a resort. Its not, its a condo. Nice condo though. Would not book here again.

Very cute little condo with a balcony and amazing location in Breckenridge for the price. I would recommend a more comfortable mattress and pillows but over all nice bathroom with a heat lamp and heated towel rack for chilly nights. Very Bad Experience -Hotels.com Can Do Better
Der Steiermark is a condo property that is listed on Hotels.com. I read reviews about it being clean, but dated. This was OK, as I just wanted a clean place to shower and sleep while in town to hike. Upon arrival, I could tell it was definitely in need of a "makeover." I was allowed to check in early, so I dropped off my luggage and explored town. I came back several hours later and noticed my eyes were getting itchy and breathing was getting challenging. It continued to get worse and was similar to what I experience when around cats & some dogs. Before booking, I had checked the Hotels.com listing and it stated no pets. So, I initially thought it was something else. As it continued, I researched the property and found the local property mgmt listing. It was very straightforward that the owner had pet(s) and warned that anyone with allergies should reserve elsewhere. The Hotels.com listing omitted this! I reached out to customer support that night and was told that I would be moved. After an hour passed I followed up and got nowhere. After 2 hrs, the local property mgmt txt me and said moving wasn't possible. It was now too late to find a new place, so I took extra allergy medicine and tried unsuccessfully to sleep. The next day, I spent the whole morning trying to get moved to a different condo. The property mgmt co. was helpful, refunding my 3 night reservation. After wasting 1/2+ day of vacation, Hotels.com reluctantly rectified the issues it caused. I booked elsewhere.

The property is in an excellent location. You can walk anywhere and the area is absolutely beautiful. Just beware that the town of Breckinridge does not enforce any type of sidewalk shoveling. We arrived during a snowstorm and the next couple of days the snow on the sidewalk compacted and eventually froze. Very hard to navigate but again the town of Breckinridge is beautiful. Staying at Der Steiermark was very convenient

Great location. Located above Mi Casa. Corner of Main and Park. Accommodations were great for the price.Staff were great. Apartment was a bit outdated but very clean. Could use black out curtains in bedroom. Our stay was in August. No air conditioning but there were a couple of fans. Only an issue in the bedroom, even then it was still not bad. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend for the budget conscience.

Located in a cramped commercial building shared with ski shops and a busy Mexican restaurant, it is not a hotel setting. However, it is reasonably located and good for value if you get it cheaply.
