We stayed at Ajman Hotel for a family vacation and had a wonderful experience. Our family travelled from different countries — I came from Canada with my wife, my sister from Germany, my other sister from Jordan, and my brother with his family from Abu Dhabi. We booked three rooms and enjoyed a great stay together.

On the first day, we had a small issue with room availability as we requested a room with two beds, and my room’s washroom needed better cleaning. The staff responded immediately by replacing items, fully sanitizing the washroom, and arranging a temporary two-bed room for my sisters. The next day, they moved us to a proper superior two-bed room. Their quick action and professionalism were impressive.

The cleanliness of the hotel is truly top-notch. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly, pools are always spotless, and staff work overnight to maintain the property. We were amazed to learn they even fly a hawk to keep birds away, keeping the pool and beach areas very clean.

Reception staff were respectful, welcoming, and extremely helpful. We also tried jet skiing, and the safety and guidance were excellent. Towels were always fresh and available, and the pools were perfectly warm.

Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for families and relaxing vacations. We will definitely return.

Another pleasing stay at Ajman Hotel, the room and territory were clean and enjoyable, the food diverse and satisfying, the staff friendly and helpful. The only request to the hotel would be to install electric sockets on both sides of the bed to make phone charging easier and hassle-free. Otherwise, the hotel came up to our expectations, as ever. Many thanks to Anastasiya and Svetlana at Nassim Café and to Roshiel and Fatima at the reception.

This was another stay at Ajman Hotel out of multiple in succession since early 2000s. As ever, we have enjoyed the superb beach, the classy hotel (with all rooms having a magnificent view on the Gulf), the most welcoming atmosphere, and the nice gym and sauna, this time added with the lovely new pool facilities. But probably the most precious asset here are the people, many of whom have been with the hotel for decades. To name a few: Fatima the receptionist who was the first to welcome us and checked us in lightning-fast; Mr. Ali the chief manager who has always been in charge of our comfort and good moods; Svetlana, Anastasiya, Jayann, Amina, Abdous, Jeomar, Asha, Malsha, Anu, Bishal, Min, Nizar, chef Nicolia and chef Fahad who made our gastronomic dreams come true; the security guys who took care of us at the pool and on the beach; the cleaning team who made our room so cozy and clean… Sorry, can’t name everybody. We just hope to come back again and again.

Not good place to visit right now

There is a misalignment between the hotel and hotels.com. Once we arrived, they told us that our rate didn't include any meal and we paid full-board on the website. Now, Hotels.com does not want to refund me for the payment we needed to make to have the meals at the hotel.
The hotel is under maintenance. This was not informed in advance. There is a lot of noise during the day, and the view gets really bad.
Inside, the rooms need to be updated.

Everything was beyond wonderful! Beautiful wide open private beach and a perfect pool. Only thing that was a little inconvenient and an eye sore was the ongoing major construction by the beach/pool area, however I should point out that both the pool and beach were still completely accessible and open for use! I would definitely stay again when visiting the Dubai area. We traveled from Chicago, USA.

This was a nice stay, regardless of the ongoing construction work onsite. The staff did its best to accommodate for all our needs, the room cleanliness was top notch. The beach area of the hotel is fantastic! I also really enjoyed shisha and dinner at Zanzibar and bowling located in the hotel. The lobby is beautiful— marble, lavish, traditional design.
Welcome drink was nice. All the staff, from the doorman, porter, bellhop, check in staff (Jayzel), housekeeping, restaurants staff, including breakfast buffet, and pool/beach staff were professional, kind, always ready to help and accommodating. Had a superb stay. Would have loved to stay longer!

The 9 night stay was very pleasing overall, from check in to check out. The hotel is managing to keep up to the high mark set by the previous owner chain, or even going beyond that. The room and whole property cleanliness are impeccable, the bedding silky and comfortable, the meals most satisfying. The staff is welcoming and immediately responding to any and all requests. I even received an unexpected birthday cake on my birthday, which was so nice and yummy. Would be happy to come again and again!

I had stayed at ajman hotel in the past when it was part of kempinski group. I was pleased the hotel was more or less still the same in terms of service and comfort. Sure there are many newer/plusher hotels available in the UAE and some aspects of hotel are a little tired but in terms of relaxation , convenience for DBX and one of the best private beaches it still ticks the boxes for me.

The hotel boasts of its facilities, and private beach, pool area always full, so guests heading to the beach, which is beautiful, are not catered for, There is an app to use for ordering drinks while on the beach, but doesn`t always work, The hotel now caters for all inclusive, guests drunk and getting more than friendly on the beach, If we wanted to see any of this we could have had a holiday for half the price in Europe, We even had water pouring through the ceiling at 3:30am from the air condition until, no apology or anything, we have been using this hotel for the past 15 years, looking elsewhere now, feel really sorry for the hard working staff

Old & Not Worth The Money

The stay was good overall but only because I enjoyed my friends’ company. The hotel is old and not well maintained. It’s sad because with just a little bit of maintenance, it can be a great hotel with a homey, vintage feel. The beach tanning beds are old and rusty and reek of ants and other insects.

For food and beverage, the quality is mediocre. My friends and I had lunch by the pool and breakfast at the buffet. The food was not clean nor was it tasteful.

The hotel has to work on maintenance, proper F&B across all their restaurants, and cleanliness of the beach.

I visited this hotel again after 13 years, when it was still known as Kempinski Hotel. The check -in was smooth, with welcoming and friendly staff. My room, deluxe sea view, was a dream. As requested I got the room in the corner away from the noise. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. beautiful view of sea and pool. Had dinner at the Indian restaurant with fantastic staff and tasty food. The beach is clean and a real gem. A definitely visit again and won't wait so long again.

Nice hotel with fantastic private beach

We wanted a beach holiday outside Dubai but with the ability to head to Dubai and we definitely chose correctly with this hotel. A beautiful hotel with plenty of facilities, including several restaurants, a bowling alley, good size pool and a great private beach. Staff are numerous and very helpful. The whole hotel is kept immaculate. There is a shuttle bus service into Dubai three times a day (morning, afternoon and evening) and you can also head back on this if a seat is available.

My stay was excellent, aside from the bars, which were disappointing. They need to find a way to attract more people, maybe by getting a better band. Ajman, Sharjah, and Dubai need to get together and extend the subway up the coast. This would make Ajman and those areas more attractive and reduce traffic.

The room was good.

However, the restuarants in the Hotel were below average. Especially breakfast and over priced. Had to beg to get a cup of coffee. The Chinese restaurant is overrated and the food was not very good and not per the menu - no Bok Choy in the meal as per the menu.

The Fitness Center was very good but you have to being the small towel from your room.

The bars offer one free cocktail with one bought but are very strict on the interpretation of a cocktail.

In summary no reason to stay there again.

In my experience, the best beach in the UAE belongs to the Kempinski in Ajman. Hotel could use some help as age is catching up. Excellent breakfast, but dinners in the Chinese and Italian restaurants were average. For those who like to spend several hours a day in the sea, highly recommended.

Good. I was not happy that they refused to give me complimentary check out at 3PM although another staff told me that they were lightly booked. They wanted 100 AED for that. Also food menue is not reasonable compared to other 5 star hotels in Dubai. 2 boiled eggs for 55 AED.

A very relaxed 2 day stay, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of options for dining and some live music in one of the bars. Pool and beach facilities were ideal for chilling out with a cocktail or two. Spa facilities offered Ayurveda treatments - expensive but well worth it. Courtesy buses into Sharjah and Dubai provided easy access to the neighbouring Emirates.

Front desk girl ruined it all

The stay was good, property is nice, beach is outstanding, pool is small but good. But the climax was horrible. When i checked in, the front desk assistant was so nice and pleasing behavior, but at the time of check out, i went to the counter and said i need to check out, at that time one of the tables were free, and that lady there was talking to her colleague and she asked me to wait. I waited. As soon as she finished talking with colleague, some other fellows came to her and they started exchanging some casual talks. It took about half an hour to get my turn. The bell boy was looking at me helplessly with my luggage. i was rushing to some place and that's the reason i was doing early check out. May be technically hotel may give a nice explanation, the fact is that, that half an hour was so important for me and that just went in vein.

From outside and surroundings the hotel can't be called as a star property, forget about it beeing called as 5star. Inside look and facilities are fine and neat..The TV in the room is very old generation type with no usb,no hdmi or anything.. It's just a ok place to stay in..room and washroom is clean..hotel needs a total refurbishment!!

Am gold member in Kempensiki .I have booked for me wife and 7 years old son while my 2 years old was not recorded.Due to the continuous changes of receptionist she does not the rules.First she told me that my stay is already stay is paid for through Venere which i did.After i reached my room she statrted to chase me for a hard copy of my booking and that i should pay for my two years old son .she annoyed me much that i had not enjoyed the one day stay although food/Iftar was very good.

Pleasant beach

In an area where it's hard to get away from the ports or public beaches this location is a little oasis. We had an early morning flight our of Dubai International airport and could enjoy the beach the previous afternoon and still get up early and make the airport. In rush hour, however, it takes 1.5 hours. We felt that the hotel restaurants were exceptionally high in their food prices and enjoyed driving down the road and having an informal excellent dinner at a beach restaurant which, while much less formal, at least let us feel like I was in the UAE>

As a stopover between two long flights this was a very good stay particularly if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Dubai. Very good pool and excellent beach with plenty of loungers etc. Food in hotel very good quality although prices on the high side. Disappointing that the only breakfast available was a substantial buffet; nothing else. Check in efficient but room not available until over half an hour after advertised check in time. K lounge facilities very good with excellent service.

A little piece of paradise

This is the 8th time staying at the Kempinski in Ajman. Each and every time it has been a wonderful relaxing holiday. Watching the sunset from the balcony never gets old. The hotel is great, It has many restaurants and cafes. it has an onsite bar and bowling alley. it has a handful of shops should you have forgotten to pack any essentials or are looking for a gift. The private beach is simply perfect, with its own beach bar which also serves food and a shower/changing facility should you need to cool off. There is also an employee who serves drinks to you on the beach. The staff are simply wonderful. They are efficient and discrete but most importantly happy and friendly. They are truly a credit to the hotel.The food is very good. The hotel is approx. 20km from Dubai and the traffic can be bad so if you intend to travel into Dubai frequently choose your times carefully. there is a hotel operated bus service.

Location and Beech was Good

Rooms are smaller compared to the other hotels in the same range.Room in Dining menu to be improved with more choices.Services are very fast but too costlier.check in time is 3 pm which should be normally 2 pm in most hotels.Beech is too good and services are too good.

A little piece of paradise!!!

This is the 7th visit to the Kempinski at Ajman. the hotel location is a 1 minute walk from the private beach. everything that you may require is available on site, restaurants, bar, bowling alley, shops, gym etc etc. the staff are amazing, very friendly very helpful and always smiling.
If you are looking for relaxing beach holiday, look no further!!! Be back there soon:)
Note that the hotel is over 40mins away from downtown Dubai, although there is a bus service provided

Nice hotel and great location,friendly and very,very helpful staff.I would love to stay again in near future.I am remanding this hotel to everyone.The international 24/7 resturant buffet needs little improvement on food quality and dinein service....thanks!

Okay for adults but not good for babies.

Everything is ok for adults in 5 star hotel. The best private beach in UAE I guess. But it is not good for babies: no special food, awful playground. However staff are very friendly to babies.

I booked Leisure club room (which means early check in). I came to the hotel around 10 am and was waiting (with 1.5 year old baby) till 3 pm (standard check in time) without any excuse or any kind of compensation.

not worth the money

I have stayed there with my husband for a night and i have booked the sea view room. the rooms arent great, they are clean, but just nothing special at all. the pool is very small and not what you would expect in a resort at all. however the beach was the best one i have been to in a long time and the bowling feature is increadible fun. the spa was great. overall its worth going in the morning and coming back in the evening but i wouldnt stay in the hotel again. its a perfect day trip for people who live in dubai, to chill on the beach, have a massage and then a few games and drinks in the bowling bar, but to stay the night is not worth it since the rooms are very basic and definately not 5 star. just plain average, not what i expected when booking with kempinski. (and i am not the kind of person who has crazy standards when going to a hotel)

Good hotel for family or couple

The services are excelente, hotel staff very professional at all times, no need to move from the hotel, you have access to good restaurant, coffee shop, live music, nice beach and swimmin pool

fourth visit

this was our fourth visit to the hotel and the high standard had been maintained, all the staff were welcoming and always willing to help with a smile. the food was still of an excellent standard. the only disappointing thing smoking was still allowed in the restuarants, in restricted sections but if you were unlucky enough to get a table close by then you did smell the smoke.

Perfection

The staff is what makes this hotel. Everyone so friendly , I travel a lot and this is the best hotel for service I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect to get away from it all. Great views over the ocean. The beds are fantastic , very comfortable. The breakfast was all you could want and then some. The guys on the beach are quick to make sure you have what you need re drinks etc.
It was the perfect start to our trip

no other choice

the hotel has a lack of hospitality and customer satisfaction people were rod and althoug i booked through your website it was under investegation when i arreved and even when i check by phone before my arrival they told me we dont know this site for reservations the room was not that clean i only loved the view and the full break fast i used to use kempinski in dubai and they are much better but this was my only choice
