The main reason we stayed at the hotel was the website advertised a hot tub. We get there & there was only a pool with cold water & no hot tub. We asked the front desk staff if there was a hot tub & she said they had one years ago but it broke so they tiled over it. We got a bag with 2 bottles of water, 2 bags of gardettos, & 2 boxes of Swedish fish in return for our disappointment. I was expecting a credit to our room or a gift card to Kwik Trip instead. We were only there for maybe a total of 16 hours. But staff were super friendly, the little breakfast bar was a great pick me up before work, showers were hot, and house keeping surprised me by making the room look new again the next day.

The property , the staff, and the amenities were all terrific. However, on two different occasions( one while I was in the airport en route to the property) Hampton Inn's records of the dates of my stay were completely wrong, and Expedia had to intervene on my behalf, otherwise I would have been out on the street! Something is not working in the communication between Hampton Inn and Expedia. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I am grateful to Expedia for advocating for me and making sure I was taken care of. If you do book this hotel, I would triple check to make sure they have the same dates that you requested on record. Otherwise, you could be in for some panicked moments.

Fridge wasn't functioning. Called desk who directed us to dial on back of unit. Still not working, called desk who said maintenance was gone for day, offered to call them in. I said I'd see if it was plugged in.

I will say the staff were great and the property is nice. My kids really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast in the morning was hot and ready. We also loved being so close to the airport and that transportation would have been available if needed.

The only problems were that it took 30 minutes for the airport shuttle to pick us up, and the entire key card system in the hotel was down so the only way to get in our room was to have a staff member unlock the door for us. I have a huge pet peeve when it comes to hotels and the hot tubs being broken. The hot tub was closed for repairs our entire stay. We look forward to the hot tub after a long drive or long day of sightseeing. People pay for the hot tub as part of their stay. Make sure it’s working. Witnessed a staff member question an African American hotel guest as to what his room number was during breakfast as if the hotel guest came in off the street to get free food. The man came down in the elevator. Turned into a loud verbal argument where man demanded to see manager. The hotel guest was highly offended as he should have been. Embarrassing for hotel and hotel guests to have to witness. Below average breakfast. Had to ask for towels. No reason to stay here with plenty of other options in area.
