Loved the room. Extended stay NEEDS kitchen ware. This is a must for extended stay hotels. Also, regular rooms NEEDS microwave and mini fridge. Staff was great, They can only do so much to assist customers. Management should reach out to owners more concerning customers request for having the basics that a hotel by Wyndham offers. I would love to stay again, but i will need to be prepared with utensils and kitchen ware. Breakfast sausage has a weird after taste. Other than that, all good this round.

As a disabled veteran, I was charged for my service animal. It’s strange because I traveled to Jackson and stayed at this hotel for the last 2 months for work and was never charged before. If you have a service animal, I would not stay here. It’s a shame that they will be losing out on 3 more months of my business.

Semi canisters all over the place. Hard to park. Due to construction floors were filthy. I had to lay down towels to walk on the floors.
Grass was overgrown by the pool and it was not working. Ice machine was not working. Breakfast cereal was stale. No eggs like advertised, just microwavable, sausage patties.

I have a service dog.They charged me twenty five dollars for her, and my dog iscleaner than that floor was

When I booked, I was not informed that this property was under renovation. I think that the \"renovation\" condition was an understatement. No guest should have been accepted until at least the common areas were up to LaQuinta standards. It is clear that this hotel had been previously trashed and certainly not ready for guests. Dirty old hallway carpets with many stains, doors and door jambs needing paint, ceilings with plaster falling down, etc., were some things I experienced. There was no working ice machine, breakfast was limited, and the exercise room and other public areas were also off limits to customers.

The photographs used on Expedia were not accurate as to the actual condition of the facility. Looks like it was from the 70s carpets were old worn and stained. The hallway and the second floor had no air conditioning so the temperature was about 30 to 35° higher than the rest of the facility Do the conditions of the facility I didn’t even stay for breakfast. I got up at 4:30 and hit the road by 5 AM.

We pulled in the parking lot of this hotel and we immediately chose to cancel the reservation. Tall weeds crowed up all around the front of the building, mattresses standing up in the windows, some windows had plastic taped over them, outside front entrance had tiles falling off, only 3 other cars in the parking lot, swimming pool still had winter cover on it with green stagnate water standing on it with grass and trees growing. Only part of the hotel had rooms that was operational. This looked like a very unsafe place to be. We left. Was also given the runaround when we tried canceling the room.

Its fine, wasnt loud, staff was fine, and felt relativley safe. However, if you can stay elsewhere I would. I have never seen a hotel with so many stains on the carpet in the community areas, like the hallways. The room didnt really have any carpet stains, but the bathroom door had a hole in it, large scuff marks all across it, rust in the bathtub, and other clearly old, and at times, unkept things. The breakfast is just so sad:/ I mean I am not expecting much but was still shocked by the option of white bread, jam, waffle, and microwace sauage sandwich. It might sound better than it appeared. Also, none of the lights in the parking lot were on at night, which is not great if you are travling and keeping stuff in your car. Overall the people were fine and doing their jobs. The building itself is below average as is the breakfast (amenities). Not sure I would stay again.

Although the hotel was undergoing a renovation, that was not something I factored in. There was little to no parking, the lot lights were ALL out. The bed was ok at best but there was what appeared to be blood stains on the carpet with stuff just removed from the doors. There were cigarette stains in the shower soap dish.

I am retired military, so i have stayed in a lot of hotels (good & bad) all over the world. I select laquinta inn a lot of the time when traveling because they have great rates and good rooms. I booked the hotel online. If it was not so late in the night i would have not stayed there. The most dirty hotel i have ever been in. I assume there is construction going on? Why give me a room then? No ammenities, not even coffee.

The general appearance of the facility was shabby and in need of extensive renovation. Carpeting throughout was worn and in our room, stained and torn. Shower enclosure was separated from the wall. Ceiling coating was falling off in chunks. What was intolerable were roaches crawling on the wall. We checked out after the second night.

Original key cards didn’t work. Took them back to desk; attendant reran through machine. Back upstairs; still didn’t work. Elevator door would get stuck when opening only 2 inches. Room phone was not functioning. Reported to the front desk. Nobody took action. The ceiling of the roof had hanging coats. Extremely worn out, old carpets in the room. Awful smell everywhere. Table lamp without lamp. Whole night there was dipping sound in the room. Ceiling had water spot. Overall bad look and feel. I do not recommend this venue for anyone to stay.

The room we were given was TERRIBLE. Obviously at some point there was water damage as the bathroom floor and tub was \"spongy\" and behind the toilet the wall was black. The tub streamed hot water constantly leaving a green stain and loads of black gunk came out under the bath mat when the shower was turned on.

There was a pervasive musty/mildew smell. The door latch was broken off and there was extensive door damage (scratches from a large dog?) on both the exterior door and bathroom door.

The LaQuenta in Jackson Tenn was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I will certainly tell all family and Friends NOT to ever reserve a room in Jackson Tenn. I've stayed in a few LaQuinta's over the years and know its not the best hotel chain but this place was terrible. Our room had a musty/mold smell that made my traveling companion's allergies flare. The bathroom was atrocious--boggy floor in tub and around toilet, big crack in the ceiling, tub surround pulling away from the wall, water streaming from tub faucet leaving green stain and when shower turned out black gunk came out from under bath mat. The door latch was broken and doors had damage at waist level. The room should have NEVER been rented out in that condition. Unsafe and possibly toxic.

It was a decent place to stay for for an overnight rest on a multi day drive. The front staff was very nice and friendly. It's an older hotel in need of upgrades but it was neat and did smell good.I was a little leary of the bathtub as it was rusty and stained but the shower felt good and our microwave did not work. Honestly it was a truly terrible hotel.I had to wait for like 10 minutes before anyone appeared to assist us and it was really off putting.Rooms were dirty, outside was dirty there were holes in the wall , big patches of paint off the ceiling and mold, carpet was gross and there was actually trash underneath the beds. The shower had a leak and everything smelled funky. The bed sheets and pillows seemed to be clean at the very least. If I had not been exhausted by a long drive I would have left. If I was Expedia I would not be associated with this property.

This is the worst La Quinta i have ever stayed at.
The hall way smelt like dog urine.
The ceilings had ugly spots from leaks. The thextue on the ceiling was falling off. The corner beads had drywall missing. The breakfast was the worst. It only had waffels and some nasty sausage biscuits. The juice machine was licked up. The personal were not friendly at all.
I will say the maids did have a peoper made up room.

THE PROPERTY CAN USE RENOVATION BADLY. THE ELEVATOR HAD ME WONDERING IF I WOULD MAKE IT TO THE 3RD FLOOR. THE ROOM WAS GOOD OVERALL, BUT COULD USE IMPROVEMENTS. We booked this as a last minute hotel as we were driving from Arizona and we were tired so we needed a place to stay for the night. This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It is a rundown motel at best. Clearly you can see in the one picture the light switch for the bathroom stains on the carpets are horrible. The dresser was being held up straight by a lid, water stains on the ceiling peeling paint on the ceiling. We never will stay there or probably at a La Quinta ever again. The pictures are very misleading on the site however, the woman at the front desk was very nice but when we left at 5 AM to get back on the road there was nobody in sight so we could tell them how the room was but we were so tired. We just slept afraid to sleep in our pajamas we just left and are clothes.

Property needs upkeep & repair. Carpet in the halls and my room was filthy and I found bugs crawling around the sink in the morning. Chose not to shower there due to lack of shower shoes.

On the plus side - The bed was comfy and I saw no evidence of bugs in the bed. Property was very cheap (under $100), and the staff was friendly and professional.

If I stay in Jackson again, I will opt for a slightly more pricy property that is better maintained.

The floors were damp, the sheets were damp, the towels were damp, the entire hotel stunk like mildew. The sign said breakfast from 6-9am and there wasn’t anything ready at 6… 6:30… etc the staff seemed bothered by having to do their job. Not worth almost 100$ a night.

We usually stay at LaQuinta hotels and have never been disappointed, until now. This particular one is truly the exception. I think, that staying in my car or under a bridge would have been nicer. The entire place is NASTY. If, anyone is actually interested in what the hotel is like...then book a room and see for yourself. I could talk endlessly about the condition. The ceiling over the bed was cracked and appeared to be falling in. The carpet is filthy, wrinkled and worn. The SMELL... Nasty. The back of the bathroom door as well as the room door has HUGE deep claw marks. Everything is just filthy, worn, and horrible. There were gigantic boxes in the hotel entry. Nothing appears to have EVER been cleaned or repaired. We travel frequently through this area...but NEVER again will even consider this place, perhaps another LaQuinta again. (We stayed at the Hilton on our way home...Fabulous)

I choose La Quinta because of it's reputation and past visits.
This facility needs serious repair. After I checked in, and took the elevator to my room, I felt like I was at a pay by the hour location. The ceilings have horrible patch jobs. The toilet seat is so loose, it is unsafe to sit on. There is black mold in the tub. The hotel is dog friendly and there is damage in the room from a dog. The double pane window is broken on the outside.
I will not be returning to this facility.

Avoid this property! We lasted 20 minutes. The entire facility smelled moldy, the room had mold on the ceiling, and \"popcorn\" ceiling falling down. It was just nasty. I will be calling the city to inspect and hopefully shut them down as it is a health hazard.

When I checked into my room, which is room number 137 and walked into the room and noticed that the whole carpet was soaking wet and it smelled like rotten, sauerkraut, and dead meat. I went to the front desk and told the lady that was working there about the concern and she told me she had no other rooms and that they were undergoing construction, I could not use the air conditioner in the room. It was extremely hot no fans were available and the smell made me throw up the next morning when I went to check out I talked to the front desk person and asked her to come back to the room and see what I was talking about. She said that I should have not been charged for that room and she was closing that room out so no one could stay there because there’s something wrong. The carpet is soaking wet like I had stated, and the smell is nauseating. I have yet to receive my refund.

Ive been to other LaQuinta hotels because we travel with 2 small dogs BUT this place should be shut down. The entire place is filthy and our room was disgusting. I wouldn’t walk on the rug without shoes on.
The elevator is downright scary. The toilet has a flushing problem and there is a plunger sitting beside it just in case.

You really need to change your site - there wasn't a room available at any hotel from Texarkana to Columbus, OH and hasn't been for weeks. Under NO circumstances should you be showing available rooms.

As soon as you walk in the ENTIRE lobby smelled like poop so bad it make me puke. It was hot and extremely dingy and disgusting. The carpets were disgusting threw out the entire building they were almost black. All the carpets were wet! The bathroom toilet would not flush. The room smelled like someone had cats in there. The hotel was the most horribly maintained building I have ever been in. Pieces of the exterior falling off, holes in exterior doors. The common areas smelled like mildew. The carpet was filthy and stained. The walls were chipped and in need of paint. Lights were missing. Our room had yellow and brown stains in the tub. The tub faucet had a steady stream of water running. 3 of the 4 vanity lights were gone. The chain lock on th door was broken Carpet was filthy, tile chipped. Deep scratches in doors from dogs scratching. Horrible place. Wyndham should be ashamed!

The property was convenient to the interstate. There was plenty of parking and the staff was very kind. The nightly rate with taxes and all was around $85 on Expedia. If you are on a state travel stipend, this is probably your least expensive option unless you go to Jackson or further into Memphis.

There were a few negatives. 2 people were hotboxing cigarettes outside the front door. The smell was being drawn right inside. The motel is very dated. The carpet is likely the original. It looks like 1993. The hallways are very dimly lit and have a stale, smoke smell. Lots of missing paint and scuffs on doors and walls. The elevator works but needs to be serviced. The room that I had was on the 3rd floor. The air worked wonderfully and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels and pillows. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. I did a pest inspection and found nothing. The room was just in need of a deep clean and updating. The doors had a lot of missing paint and trim. The dresser had a drawer that was taped shut because it would come open on its own. All of the things that are wrong with this property could be fixed with some updating and maintenance. The people were great. The location was convenient. The TV had plenty of channels. The bed was comfortable. The rest was fine. I'd probably stay again all things considered. If they updated it, definitely.

Do not even consider this property.

We didn't stay. Place looked sketchy when we arrived. I had called ahead to get a rollaway...\"we don't have have those\". The room was nasty, looked 50 years old with no upkeep. Bathroom door wouldnt close...scraped on the floor. Not something housekeeping could miss. I've stayed at many LaQuintas, I don't know what is going at this one but corporate executives should be embarrassed and horrified. Went to a different hotel, forfeited what I paid for the room because I booked through Hotels.com because it was too late to cancel but I was not going to stay there with my mother and grandson.

They had no regular coffee packets. Then we found that there was no coffee packet holder in the coffee maker anyway. Breakfast wasn't until 7 am and we wanted to be on the road by 6:30 am. The outside was unkept. There was mold in the bathroom. In all, not worth the price paid.

Very run down and unkempt inside and out. The breakfast was just bread, bagels, and plastic wrapped pastries that I could buy at a gas station. Very different experience from the other times I've stayed at a La Quinta.

I stay at La Quinta inn often . This one was really bad . I'm surprised you let them use your name . The place was filthy . There were stains all over the rugs and even somebodies leftover open soap in my shower. I still like La Quinta inn but i'll never return to the one in Jackson Tennessee !

this place is the must terrible hotel , dirty room , toilet, carpet, hallways, we stay one 5 hrs because , we was driving from Cleveland to Dallas, to take a nap . honestly $50 per room is expensive and we pay $115.00

Horrid. Upon driving in there was 3 cars in a blacked out parking lot. I entered the lobby, empty. No one at the desk. I waited, waited some more and finally I hear a female voice, do you have a reservation? Uh yeah, well she then goes on to tell me that she needs about 5 more min to finish throwing up. I ask, is this hotel even open, she said and I quote, no not really that’s why I asked about you having a reservation 😐 needless to say I asked for a refund and was denied. My husband and I are out the money. Had to spend even more money on a place across town. The drug dealers was probably the highlight, at least someone is making money out here. Our new hotel staff was all too eager to let me know that La Quinta has been ‘closing’ for a few weeks and that she has had a lot of people coming in lately with similar stories. Mothers Day and Expedia and La Quinta are pulling this mess?
