wir waren über Weihnachten dort und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Raum war sauber und er war gut zu heizen und auch Nachts zu kühlen. Der Blick auf die Schienen interessierte auch. Mit geschlossenem Fenster waren keine Geräusche zu hören.

Die Sauberkeit im Bad ist nicht die beste. Die Dusche war sehr mit schwarzem Schimmel befallen. Die Dichtung der Duschtür dichtet nicht ab d.h. zwischen der Tür und der Glaswand war zirka ein 2cm Spalt.

The staff at the reception was very friendly and gave me a quiet room upon request. Unfortunately the room (216) had a very strong smell of fabric freshener and the window was wide open upon entering the room. Not sure what the hotel was trying to cover up but the odour was pretty overwhelming. The breakfast was pricey but good

All are good, except the night manager are not kind and rudeness when we asked the hot water. He mentioned the boiler is broken. I wish he can honestly told us it need be charged. The funny thing is he didn’t know I do understand German since I studied here before.

Nice stay in Hamburg Altona

We stayed 2 days and on arrival we were given 3 days of public transportation ticket for Hamburg region (including airport, ferries as well) which was very useful. We liked the location of the hotel, because coming from Amsterdam by intercity train to Altona, hotel is almost in the station. Going to airport was only one journey on S1 line and it takes about 40 minutes). Both sides of the train station ( i.e., hotel) were very lively with many shops (incl. rewe, ikea, and many others) and restaurants. We felt very safe (unlike many other train stations in europe). Two train (Sbahn) lines were passing through the station, and reaching to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof or other touristic places was easy.

Rooms and bathroom were of acceptable size, very clean. There is a refrigerator in the room and air conditioning. The furniture in the room was sufficient. Our room faced the street, we did not hear any train noise.

Receptionists were helpful. We did not take the breakfast, so I can not comment. There are many (nice) sandwich shops in the train station.

From price/performance point of view, we are highly satisfied. It is a nice hotel, and if we come to Hamburg again, we would stay here again.

The hotel served as a great base for us to explore the city. Very easy to get to from the airport, direct on the S1 line.
The staff at check in were friendly and helpful, our room was clean, comfortable and serviced every day.
We were room only and at €15 per person per day for breakfast we were happy to walk the 50 yards into the train station and grab something from the several cafes.
The travel card that comes included with your stay is very handy indeed and saves having to buy one.
Just 3 or 4 stops on the s-bahn from the main areas of the city, so it’s ideal as a base.

When you arrive by train you will literally see the hotel lobby from the platform. The hotel is located in the Altona station and has connections to local trains as well as long distance trains. Hotel room was spacious, but had two single beds and not a double bed as requested. It was very quiet and comfortable for a one night stay. Breakfast and local transport ticket for the duration of the stay was included, making the decision to stay at this hotel easy. Breakfast was good, everything you need was offered. Coffee to go was also available.

I have stayed at the Intercity at Altona on several occasions. From my point of view it is very convenient for Hamburg-Altona Rail station as it has access direct to/from the station.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, and they do do evening meals but not a much of choice. Although there are many local restaurants & bars or the city centre is a short S-Bahn ride for which they give you a free city ticket.. Rooms are clean and tidy. You do get a bit of noise either off the railway or from the bar & road outside but it does go quiet late evening.

A great hotel in a great location.
I reserved 7 twin rooms for a stag do and the hotel and the staff were great. Very friend and incredibly helpful.
The hotel is right next to the station with good bars and restaurants near by. Only a 5 minute tube ride to the Reeperbahn area and the trains run all night so perfect for what we needed.
The hotel has a bar which is reasonably priced.
The rooms were really clean and comfortable.
I would fully recommend!!!

We had a 3 night stay in January and had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the rail tracks
It's great for transport as it's actually at the entrance to the Altona station but the downside is that you are woken each morning by the trains and the announcement tannoy. This wasn't a problem for us as we had to get up early each day but if you like a long sleep, this hotel might not suit you. Our room was a little cramped but it was clean and tidy and the shower was good. Overall I'd stay here again.

Location of the hotel is excellent.

Staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was well maintained and clean. The mini bar was offered free which meant one did not need to be purchasing water in particular from outside. There are coffee and tea making facilities. The room was kept at a reasonable temperature and not over heated. The hotel was quiet at night.

We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent with easy access to public transit, rail services and shopping (a good sized shopping centre with a very good food court is a three minutes walking distance from the hotel). A major plus is the hotel card that gives their guests free access to the main Hamburg Public Transit System making it easy to reach many interesting points in Hamburg in a few minutes.
Good shopping can be found along the pedestrian mall leading to the shopping centre. In the Altona Rail Station Complex are plenty of small places for quick snacks and breakfast - no need to pay the fairly high breakfast cost at the hotel. The area is busy with people, mainly locals going after their daily routines. We would highly recommend this hotel and we are planning to go back there during our next trip to Hamburg.

The hotel was absolutely perfect for my needs, and the fact it was next to one of the city's main railway stations, was very convenient.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English; room was clean and spacious - and despise being next to a train station and a busy road, was very peaceful.

There was a wide selection of food at the breakfast buffet, and the free city travel card that came with the room was a bonus and saved me a fortune!

Centrally Located Hotel: Needs Some Sprucing Up

I stayed here for 10 nights because it was close to my work. It's probably one of the best located hotels because it's right next to the Altona train station and the S-Bahn and bus terminal. For its location, the hotel rooms are quiet with no street noise. There are some great places to eat near by include the Beisser, Mercado (go the the back of the first floor), and La Plaza. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Somethings to consider:
1. When you are taking showers, the water can turn scalding hot if neighbors flush their toilets.
2. They are not good with replenishing your tea/coffee, you will need to ask if want them replenished.
3. They forgot to stock my mini fridge on one occasion
4. The WiFi is slow. Both the paid and the free WiFi. It works but you won't be able to stream movies etc.

If you are staying overnight, I highly recommend this hotel. As a base to explore the city for longer stays, you will want to think about choosing a different hotel.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful but the hotel is in dire need of a refurb. Rooms were cramped, and we had the worst shower I have encountered anywhere in Germany. The curtains didn't fit properly and it was very bright and noisy outside so hard to get any sleep. The wi-fi was so slow we had to upgrade which costs 8 euros per day , and the TV channels were very limited. We had to pay a 10 euro charge to get a kettle in the room. Overpriced for what it is, but the location is very convenient and Altona is a great area.

This hotel is ideal if your using local transport to get around as it is located right next to Hamburg-Altona rail station. This is also the only down side as it can get noisey if you have the window open but the room does have air con. It's clean, friendly staff, good breakfast and a nice beer in the evening. Good sized room. Free local transport ticket which included the local boats on the river.

the location was convenient; the neigbourhood was very interesting; turkish and african restaurants on one side, modern shops, german cafes, restaurants and pubs on the other. Interesting food market in the basement of the adjacent shopping mall. You don't have to go far to find decent food and lively place to hangout. Windows opened. Internet was slow to nonexistent. Bed was HARD! I got around that by sleeping on the duvet in the form of a feather bed topper. No toiletries other than soap/shampoo combo and the towels are thin almost to the point of threadbare. Most of the staff were helpful except one guy in a uniform running the bar in the evening who insisted he did not have a particular wine by the glass despite my telling him I had already had a glass earlier in the day. My son who is fluent in German overheard him complaining about tourists who visit Germany and are unable to speak the language etc. etc. He then gave my son a bill for 2 drinks later that evening when he had only actually had one. I did not argue that as my son had signed without looking at it; caveat emptor!

The hotel is right next to the Altona train station. We stayed here while visiting friends who lived in the area. Several restaurant and shopping options are within a minute or two of walking. We loved the outdoor market. The hotel provided us with free transportation passes, which was unexpected and greatly appreciated since it allowed us to run around the city with our friends without having to purchase tickets.

Sehr praktisch am Bahnhof gelegen wenn man mit dem Zug anreist. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. Zimmer hatte einen Kühlschrank, Bett war sehr bequem. Das Zimmer lag auf der Bahnhofseite. Bei geöffnetem Fenster recht laut. Zimmer war etwas warm, Klima ging nicht an. Würde wiederkommen.

早朝の訪問にも関わらず、荷物を預かっていただいた事でハンブルク市内観光への満足度が向上した。
客室内においては、古さはあるものの良く手入れされており不便は無かった。
あえてあげるならシャワーブースの水が洗面エリアまで浸水していたので、シャワーブースからの水が浸水しない工夫があると良いです。
アクセスには、文句なしの駅直結で朝食会場からガラス越しに列車の往来が見れる位置なので、朝食後に列車に乗ることも容易です。
立地の良さで再び訪問したいと思いました。

Gute Lage und gute Räume. Kühlschrank und alles was man braucht im Zimmer, trotz Bahnhoflage nicht zu laut.
Falsch war bei Hotels.com (Expedia) die Angabe, das hier Wäsche gewaschen wird. Frühstück habe ich nicht probiert. Dafür gibt es tolle Cafés in der Umgebung.

Das Hotel liegt tatsächlich direkt am Bahnhof Altona, ist also für Zuggäste perfekt. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und die Zimmer gut ausgestattet. Auch Bushaltestelle und S-/U-Bahnhof liegen in direkter Nähe und werden von mehreren Linien bedient. Es gibt verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Bäckereien.
