The staff was so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere and vibe in the hotel fantastic.
The room was inviting, comfortable and quiet.
I was fortunate to have booked a room with a balcony. The view is interesting and being a smoker I was happy to go downstairs to get coffee and then sit on the balcony having a peaceful start of the day.
I highly recommend staying at the Superbude Altona.

The hotel was lovely and we very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were extra kind and friendly. The room was exactly as pictured and expected. The breakfast buffet is very large but on the expensive side when not included in room price. The bar and restaurant area was good, but the food menu is short and a bit eclectic; they could use some solid staple options that are less pricey for main courses.

I was skeptical at first, but they came highly recommended. But as soon as i walked in the front door, the absolutely amazingly friendly staff erased and doubts. I cant say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone was during my stay. Super clean room, great breakfast. Bed was hard, but i prefer that. It felt like staying at a friend's house honestly. Will be staying here again on my next trip.

Fun design and comfortable rooms

Very fun designed rooms with comfortable large beds.
Check in was easy through the website and the QR code.
There are bakeries and supermarkets next door making it very convenient.
It is not as central as the other Superbude stays but it is still fairly easy to get around.
I would definitely come back and would have loved to stay longer.

Loved this place!

Excellent on all fronts. Fantastic location. Has everything close at hand. Walking distance to trains, buses, bistro, bakery, supermarkets, Great service, bicycles to hire, clean/comfy.
Only thing is the wifi is slow.

Nice hotel and a bit quirky.

Short stay but the hotel was clean and staff very helpful. My only gripe was the lack of iron in the room but seems to be fairly normal for the area. I’m sure if if requested one it would have been provided but I arrived late at 2300 and left early at 0700 the next morning. Travelling for business so looking smart is a requirement.

This is was second stay in this hotel, but the first together with my wife, and it did not disappoint.

The place was being refurbished which meant that the main entrance was out of order, as was restaurant, but they did not let this be any real inconvenience as they used a side door and access to their sister hotel just a tiny hop along the same complex.

The room was spotless, the tv, lights and everything worked as you would expect and the bed was very comfortable.

My own slight niggle was that the show cubicle is a bit smaller than I would have liked, which combined with the location of the extractor fan meant that the shower curtain was too close to me and occasionally got stuck to me.

Overall I really like this hotel, the small discomforts do not detract from the overall enjoyment of the place, the staff are all super friendly and seem to speak several languages fluently ( great for a non Germanic speaker like me ) and I would not hesitate to book the next time I return to Hamburg.

Fantastic retro/lounge style hotel with excellent breakfast, and very large rooms. Placed in walking distance of both Barclaycard Arena and City center, if you are well on your feet. (5 km i both directions approx) as the Hotel is right in the middle of these two locations.
We will definately stay there again anytime.

Rooms have a strange layout and MOST don’t have AC

Hotel itself is okay however be aware that the majority of rooms don’t have air conditioning, even the XL ones. I stayed and it was 35degrees and impossible to sleep, ended up having to downgrade to get AC and the hotel staff were in no way apologetic nor offered any sort of compensation despite the ‘forced’ downgrade. Some rooms also have a very strange layout with a separate toilet by the entrance, makes no sense at all!

Hamburg is not a difficult city in terms of traveling, however we can say the hotel is a bit out of the city. It's recommended if you are driving as they offer free parking.

The internet is working over coupons, while it's unlimited the speed is limited to 512kb making it a trouble to watch a video on youtube. If you keep you business attitude, make sure that you know it.

There are bad reviews about the food but the restaurant is definitely worth trying, a decent chips with a huge cheeseburger is about 10 euros.

While everything seems to be custom built for the hotel, everything seems to have a design sense from Ikea or Habitat. That's not how I think of a design hotel, I think of more upscale furnitures but everything looks clean and yes, there is a design sense for sure.

I wish rooms had air conditioning and I wish all rooms had a minibar. The first time I stayed here, I had XL room with a minibar, the second time I stayed at an M room with no minibar and my third time was at a L room with no minibar.

Just so you know all rooms are huge and M rooms are as big as L rooms. Don't pay any extra for a bigger room, I can easily tell that the rooms equal to three times of an average Parisian hotel room.

There are bikes and Mini Coopers to rent which is good and they offer you a free beverage when u check-in where I have only been offered for once, on my second check-in.

Loved the spare design of everything, kind of like upscale Ikea, very design-y. The lighting was wierd, a little too design-y. Impossible to put on makeup in the bathroom. But overall a great place to stay.

Die Betten sind okay, aber auch bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind hellhörig und es kann immer mal sein, dass da jemand noch auf seinem Zimmer etwas feiert und es laut ist. Oropax sind angebracht. Anstatt einer Duschtür gibt es nur Duschvorhänge, was ich ziemlich unhygienisch finde. Preis Leistung passt bisher. Bei Preisen über 100 Euro würde ich jedoch nicht buchen. Da übernachtet man in Hamburg deutlich besser. Das Personal war bisher immer super entspannt und nett. Frühstück ist auch total in Ordnung.

WC im Zimmer war sehr loker an der Wand, Heizung funktionierte nur eingeschränkt in der Nacht und blieb nur Lauwarm. Teppichboden müsste mal intensiv gesaugt werden.

Das Hotel war ganz cool und hat uns gut gefallen. Besonders haben uns die kleinen Extras gefallen, die man hinzu buchen kann, also Astra im Kühlschrank und kleine Süßigkeitentüten. Leider ein Stern Abzug, da die Matratze so steinhart war, dass mein Partner nicht schlafen konnte und wir daher auch nicht wiederkommen können.

Uns hat einfach die offene unkomplizierte Art gefallen und die freundliche Begrüßung! Das Hotel ist wirklich eine SuperBUDE!
Das Zimmer war sehr warm- ABER man konnte die Fenster weit öffnen und es gab auch einen Ventilator, also alles bestens!
Das Frühstück war wunderbar viel Auswahl- alles frisch und superlecker!

Größtes Manko: Die Zimmer sind nicht klimatisiert und schon bei 20 Grad war es sehr aufgeheizt. In einem Hotel, das nicht selten um 100,-€/Nacht kostet, ist das bei aller Sympathie ein grobes Manko.

Wir waren nun schon mehrfach in der Superbude Hamburg Altona und kommen immer wieder gern zurück! Jedes Mal fühlen wir uns rundum wohl – nicht nur wegen der entspannten Atmosphäre, sondern vor allem wegen der wunderschönen und modernen Zimmer.

Was uns besonders begeistert: Jedes Zimmer, das wir bisher bewohnt haben, war individuell und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Kein Zimmer gleicht dem anderen, und trotzdem zieht sich der kreative und gleichzeitig gemütliche Stil wie ein roter Faden durch das gesamte Hotel. Von coolen Design-Elementen über geschmackvolle Farbkombinationen bis hin zu praktischen kleinen Details – hier wurde wirklich an alles gedacht, um den Aufenthalt besonders zu machen.

Die Zimmer sind nicht nur optisch ein Highlight, sondern auch super gepflegt, sauber und komfortabel. Man merkt sofort, dass die Superbude Wert auf Qualität legt. Auch die Betten sind mega bequem – perfekt, um nach einem Tag in der Stadt zur Ruhe zu kommen.

Wir freuen uns jedes Mal darauf, wiederzukommen, und können die Superbude Altona absolut empfehlen – für alle, die ein stylisches, gemütliches und besonderes Hotel in Hamburg suchen!

Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch Lokale sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Bus und Bahn sind ebenfalls gut zu erreichen.

Tolles Hotel, mega tolles Personal, sauber, ruhig ect.

Der Empfang war super freundlich. Einchecken war unkompliziert. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und individuell fancy eingerichtet. Zum Frühstück (bis 13 Uhr) war alles da, was das Herz begehrt. Frische Waffeln selbst machen, Sandwichmaker, Softeis ect. hammer.
Bei uns im Zimmer ging die Heizung nicht. Uns wurde sofort ein Zimmerwechsel angeboten und ist uns mit einer Aufmerksamkeit entgegen gekommen. Toller Service, vielen Dank dafür ❤️
Wenn wir wieder in Hamburg sind, werden wir definitiv dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Jetzt ziert an der Wand der Fotostreifen aus der Fotobox zu Erinnerung an ein tolles Wochenende in Hamburg in der Superbude.

Diese Superbude ist echt genial. Sehr nettes Personal und das Zimmer groß und sauber.
Kleine aber feine Speisekarte für das Abendessen. Tischkicker und Tischtennisplatte stehen zur Verfügung - wo sonst gibt es sowas?
Aber das Frühstücksbuffet - ein Traum. Sehr große Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Leckereien.
Und hier wird im ganzen Haus auf Nachhaltigkeitet und regionale Produkte geachtet.
Es geht nämlich doch, wenn man nur will.
Vielen lieben Dank, dass ich hier Gast sein durfte und macht weiter so.
Vielleicht wird dies mein nächstes Lieblingshotel

sehr coole Unterkunft, super freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr unkompliziert beim Check in und der Abreise. Schönes, großes und sauberes Zimmer. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben auch zu Mittag gegessen, super lecker - empfehlenswert!

Ein schönes, geruhsames, speziell aber interessant Dekoriertes Hotel. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Einziges wirkliches Manko war der Hitzestau im Zimmer. Die grossen Fenster haben sich exterm Aufgeheizt und die Hitze konnte kaum über Nacht abgebaut werden. Da es in Hamburg aber auch nicht viele Hitzetage gibt, halt eher die Ausnahme. Aber an einen vernünftigen Schlaf bei gefühlten über 30‘ war nicht zu Denken
