Really nice little hotel. Breakfast is wonderful. When my daughter needed a doctor for something simple, they were extremely helpful. One big hint: Desk clerk will park your car for you in their underground garage. Very tight space. Awesome people and very xonvenient to walk to St.Pauli and the Messe Hall. Chinese Restaurant across the street is also very goos.

Every second year I go to Hamburg for the biggest maritime exhibition in the world. All hotels are sold out and prices are high. I always end up at some run-down hotels around Hauptbahnhoff. Not a nice area!
This time we decided to try something new. In St. Pauli we found St. Annen. That was a good choice! Newly renovated hotel owned and managed by a family. Clean and comfortable room. Very good morning buffet and always good service and advice in the reception. Also, a wonderful court yard garden where you can enjoy a drink.
St. Pauli is a “special” area. Some would call it bohemian stile with lots of young people and good restaurants – other will call it a worn place with graffiti and drug addicts around every corner. Both are probably right. However, we enjoyed the good weather and atmosphere – and especially the restaurants.

Pleasant small hotel. Nice staff. Breakfast included in price which made it good value. Shower cubicle was tiny- no room to bend down in it. I've been in bigger airport security scanners. In a relatively quiet part of the St Pauli area, but plenty of cafes and shops just around the corner.

The Hotel St Annen is perfectly located for access to the city centre by U-bahn (there are 2 within an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel) and to the Christmas Market at St Pauli. It is a quiet oasis, one road back from the main thoroughfare and the rooms are very quiet. The staff (front desk, restaurant and room maintenance) are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was lovely - quite large, with a spotless ensuite. The breakfast, which was included in the room price, had a surprisingly varied choice of hot and cold foods on offer to suit every taste (including vegetarian). We really enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed here for three days while visiting our daughter and were very happy with how centrally located the hotel was. Rooms are spotless and beds comfortable. Slightly surprised that bottled water by bedsides wasn't replinished though. Great choice at breakfast.

This is a very well-appointed, good value hotel in the St Pauli area, with numerous bars and shopping areas in easy walking distance, and close to the spectacular harbour. The city centre is only a couple of U-bahn stops away if more upmarket shops are your thing.

Huoneeseen kantautui kadulta yöhön saakka kestävä meteli, kaduilla leijaili kannabiksen haju, alue todella turvaton, likainen ja oman näkemykseni mukaan vaarallinen. Humaltuneita ja aineissa olevia katu täynnä. Hotelli itsessään varmaan ihan ok, mutta alue sellaista, että toiste en kyllä tule tähän paikkaan.

Trevligt hotell! Lyhört mellan rummen och en del nattliv utanför så jag hade fönstret stängt på natten. Då blev tyvärr luften väldigt dålig i mitt lilla rum.
Frukost med bordsplacering och servering av ägg och kaffe som man får som man önskar, det var fint även om kaffet var svagt ;)

Ich war nur für einen Nacht da, aber es war gut. Sauber, ordentlich. Das Personal freundlich und zu vorkommend. Das Frühstück ist gut durch organisiert und auf Wünsche und evtl. Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten wird eingegangen. Eierspeisen werden direkt frisch gemacht.
Hatte ein Einzelzimmer. Sehr gemütlich. Vielleicht einzig zu erwähnen, dass das Bad relativ klein ist. Nur Erwähnung, kein Kritikpunkt. Habe gleich meinen nächsten Aufenthalt gebucht.

Vi fortrød vi kun havde en nat. Hotellet var hyggeligt og ikke så stort at gæsten forsvandt i mængden. Morgenmaden var lækker og æg lavet på bestilling ikke bare taget fra en buffet.super beliggenhed og værten hjalp med at parkere bilen.

Een puntje van kritiek: Ik had een plek in de parkeergarage gevraagd (bij het boeken maar bleek vol bij aankomst. Buiten probleem met lopen koste parkeren EUR 135,00 voor drie dagen. Als ik dit had geweten had ik ws elders geboekt. Maar zeker geen spijt van het hotel deze kan ik aanbevelen.

Bra övergripande med ett extra plus för frukosten
Bakom den enkla fasaden, mycket trevlig upplevelse. Vi hade enbart en övernattning, och rummet bar rent och snyggt och vi hade det i behövde för en god natts sömn. Förr oss är ett hotells frukost bland det viktigaste och den måste vi säga var mycket bra med trevlig personal, äggröra, röd, pålägg, yoghurt, god juice etc var allt så bra man hoppas få.

Lille hyggeligt hotel placeret i gåafstand til St Pauli station, stadion mm. Også nemt med en rask gåtur ind til centrum. Egen p-kælder - dog med begrænset plads. Vi blev henvist til det nærliggende Ibis for parkering (€40 for to nætter). I den anden retning stort udvalg af spisesteder og mulighed for shopping. Nemt at komme til og fra. Meget imødekommende personale. God morgenmad - bredt udvalg. Maden tilberedes løbende og er helt frisk.
Man skal ikke lade sig skræmme af grafitti og lidt anderledes lokalbefolkning.

Schön war´s im Hotel St. Annen
Die Zimmer sind nicht besonders groß und der Geruch beim Betreten des Zimmers war im 1. Moment etwas unangenehm ( es roch nach Teppichreiniger o.ä.). Dafür war das Badezimmer sehr neu. Diese kleinen Defizite wurden aber mehr als wett gemacht durch wirklich freundliches und aufmerksames Personal und ein wunderbares Frühstück. Wir haben uns in dieser eher persönlichen Atmosphäre wohler gefühlt als in manchem 4-Sterne-Hotel. Die Lage ist wirklich super. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann einiges ohne Bus oder Bahn erkunden. Haltestellen befinden sich allerdings auch fußläufig, so dass wir überall unkompliziert hinkamen. An der Rezeption haben wir Tipps und Empfehlungen erhalten. Es hat uns richtig gut gefallen.

Wir waren für 1 Nacht in diesem Hotel, und bereits der Empfang war sehr schön, da wir das Zimmer bereits 11:30 Uhr beziehen durften. Top!! Die Mitarbeiter sind alle durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer selbst war modernisiert und sehr sauber.

Wir hatten drei Übernachtungen in einem Comfort Zimmer gebucht. Dieses Zimmer lag zur sehr ruhigen Gartenseite des Hotels. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und für unseren Aufenthalt optimal ausgestattet.
