Fantastically comfortable

Fantastically comfortable bed and everything needed in the bedroom was there (but the towels could have been bigger!)
Really liked the lobby “Star Bar” which meant we could grab a drink at anytime.

Air con didn’t work terrible nights sleep

Air con didn’t work I complained twice during stay and after stay too. The room was so hot I had to open window and the road outside was so noisy sirens etc I had little sleep. Customer service non existent

Good hotel in a great location

The hotel is really good with an amazing location. The rooms were nice but no amenities (like no water, or water boiler, glass, etc). I would atleast expect a small bottle of water with a glass.
But the room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also nice with a very good shower. I loved the room and. I will definitely recommend it to business or leisure travel.

Great location; very small but pretty comfortable room; walking distance to everything; wish more signs and directions were in English, especially for the and in the parking garage. Address to navigate to the parking location is different from the hotel’s address, how to find their parking was not mentioned anywhere and remained a mystery until we called their front desk.

It was a perfect location and a tasty breakfast - the 1st floor rooms are right by other buildings and there is only privacy with the blinds closed completely - but room is perfectly comfortable and clean

2 day business trip.

Hotel reception/ bar area very nice and modern, staff friendly and helpful.
Hotel rooms very small, think more Ibis than Boutique, but clean. I was on a 2 day business trip, travelling alone so it was fine, but for a couple I would imagine it would be a challenge.
Breakfast is a challenge, when I stayed very busy and not a restaurant, so bar seating area is used, with many seats too low for comfortable eating. Food quality was good (continental style) but every spare space was used to squeeze everyone in, not really a place you can take your time and feel comfortable.

Ideal for business travellers on a tighter budget

Everything was comfortable and easy. Reception staff are friendly and helpful (if for instance you need to borrow an iron and ironing board). I do not remember there being any noticeable noise. The hotel has a pleasant and relaxed vibe (which usually means the staff are working at achieving this). A nice one-night stay.

Another successful Motel One stay

I have stayed in many Motel One hotels. They are modern, comfortable, efficiently managed and represent good value for money. This one is within walking distance of the city centre.

Good value, but overtrading

This hotel is very popular, but doesn't have the facilities to support the number of guests staying there. So there was a long queue for check-in and check-out, and for the two small lifts (they need at least two more for a hotel with 10 floors). Breakfast was completely overrun, meaning that when I got up to refill my coffee cup I returned to my table to find that someone else had already taken it! It is a cheap place to stay in Hamburg and represents good value for money, but be aware of the limitations.

A really nice stay.

This place was great. What took me aback was the really stylish lounge and bar when you walk in. It is almost like a nightclub. The room was clean and the service was great.
The only complaint I have is that its hard to find parking and the hotel itself was a little difficult to find. Other than that, A+

I like the modern look of this hotel. The location is good,handy for sightseeing some walking distance,if not there is a subway stop 2 blocks away. I didnt like the wifi was restricted up to 3 devices. For 2 persons,with a phone and a tablet each , was unsufficient. Didnt like there is no actual soap , you get small body shower liquid that was not enough for 2 people and several times we went to reception to ask for more. Beds comfortable, expect European size.

My one criticism was the bed. Room advertised as a double but was two single beds together, that was no problem but I wanted a double duvet and was told the company policy was for single covers only, this I found odd. Also the word \"Duvet\" has no meaning in Germany!

Gosto da rede, acho um bom preço pelo quarto limpo e confortável, mas sempre me arrependo por não ter frigobar. O café da manhã era bom. O hotel estava cheio, mas o atendimento no check in foi muito eficiente. A localização é boa, mas é uma caminhadinha para a área de compras no centrinho.

Det var lidt øv

Det var vores første feriedag og vi havde glædet os rigtig meget til at komme på ferie så vi synes at det var alt for dyrt i forhold til hvad vi fik rummet var meget meget lille håndvasken var stoppet der manglede en dyne den kom de så op med senere og først da jeg stod i badet næste dag opdagede jeg at der også manglede håndklæder så det synes jeg var for dyrt og jeg synes det var lidt ærgeligt oplevelseværelset var også meget lille parkering var fin men der var dårlig information så vi rendte rundt for at finde ud af hvordan vi skulle parkere så alt i alt er det ikke et sted jeg vil tilbage til og det var lidt øv da det var vores første feriedag og vi bare trængte til at hygge os som par

Die Tische zum Frühstücken sind alles Bartische, die ser niedrig sind. Es gab keinerlei Tische in normaler Höhe um sich zum Frühstücken an einen normalen Tisch zu setzen. Man saß immer in gebeugter Haltung an einem Tisch.

Warum unsere Bewertung nur Mittelmaß ist

Zimmer (Komfort) waren sehr klein und wir mussten jedes Mal ewig auf den Aufzug warten; gefühlt zu wenig Aufzüge für ein so großes Haus. Zum Frühstücken sind wir woanders hingegangen, da es an allen Tagen so voll war und wir keinen Platz gefunden haben. Ein entspanntes Frühstück ist bei diesem Getummel definitiv nicht möglich!

Motel One hat sich auch geändert ...

Zimmer is sauber, aber auch sehr eng. Für die Preisklasse gibt es deutlich grössere Zimmer. Wie Motel One noch 69 und 89 EUR gekostet hatte, war das OK, aber mittlerweile sinbd wir bei 159 - 179 EUR / Nacht, das sind 15 qm, schon sehr wenig. Und die angegebene ruhige Zeit zum Frühstück zwischen 7-8 kann ich nicht bestätigen, kein Platz, Ameisenhaufen: alle Laufen wild umher, Lärmpegel, kein Geschirr angeräumt, vieles am Buffet leer, auch das geht für mittlerweile 19,-- EUR Frühstück besser, und andere haben auch schon Bio ... Da bin ich etwas enttäuscht. Und als ich ankam: 10 Leute am Check in angestanden, auch das ist selbst bei 4 Check in Countern eine lange Warteschlange, das war früher deutlich besser und es war keine Messe, ich bin jede Woche in Hamburg. Positiv: Lage war sehr zentral gelegen.

Leider waren im Zimmer auf dem Tisch und auf dem Fußboden noch Lebensmittelreste vom Vorgast (daher nicht volle Punktzahl bei der Sauberkeit).

Tolle Lage, Schwächen beim Service

Leider gibt es Zeitfenster beim Frühstück, die man sehr frühzeitig buchen muss! Wenn man das nicht kann oder spät ankommt hat man Pech gehabt! Als Vielreisender ist mir so etwas zu jetzigen Zeit in anderen Hotels und Städten gänzlich unbekannt!

Die schlechte Service beim Einchecken. So was hat meine Frau noch nie erlebt! Sie war vor mir im Hotel (ich war eine Stunde verspätet wegen Stau auf der Autobahn) und das Personal wollte sie nicht einchecken lassen. Einzigartig schlecht und total unnötig!

Durchwachsene Erfahrung- war früher das Geld wert

Leider war mein Zimmer sehr abgewohnt. Das Badezimmer wurde nicht richtig trocken, da der Lüfter nicht funktionierte. D.h. die Handtücher sind am nächsten Morgen noch feucht.

Es gibt zu wenig Aufzüge für die Zimmeranzahl des Hotels (frühs geht es drunter und drüber- wir mussten ewig warten).

Aktuell wird dort 3G angewandt, weshalb man abends nur bis 23 Uhr Getränke an der Bar serviert bekommt und für das Frühstück einen Slot buchen muss. Da wir abends gegen halb 7 vor Ort eintrafen, waren nur noch Slots um 6 Uhr oder 9:45 Uhr frei. Das haben andere Hotels deutlich besser gelöst.

Alles in allem, für den geforderten Preis, finde ich das Hotel zu teuer.
