The room was clean and the hotel overall was excellent. Breakfast was very good and the staff stayed on top of clearing dishes and restocking food items. The reception staff were very accommodating with lending us adapters for the plugins. Close to the train and allowed us to get around easily.

This hotel fit our needs great-the room was very large-with 2 sofas that pulled out into beds, in addition to the king size bed. The hotel is large in size, and some areas were under construction during our stay, but it was still clean and very quiet. Some of the areas (specifically the laundry facility) could be better marked, but not sure if that was due to the construction going on. Breakfast was excellent-always plenty of fresh food and variety. The area around the hotel was nice, and convenient. The station to get into the city was walkable, but at night some areas were dark, but we never felt anything but safe. If you have a vehicle parking is a bit of a distance and dark at night, but again, felt completely safe. We would absolutely stay here again.

The room was ok. It was meant for 3 people. The small bed was on the main floor and the bigger bed was upstairs. The stairs were quite steep. It was overall ok, but the second day we were there we noticed silverfish on the walls and one was crawling on me in the morning in bed! Gross!

Front desk staff were so helpful! Manager, ast, staff helped me find distilled water for CPAP and helped with transportation. Spoke with around 5 front fesk staff at different time. All helpful. Well worth the stay for 2 weeks with young teenagers!

Wow! What a surprise!! While visiting Germany, we were staying in weisbaden but, decided to do an overnight stay in Munich. Our room was excellent, 2 levels ( perfect for extra privacy) the staff spoke perfect English and was very friendly and helpful! Just a short walk away, found the most amazing German Biergarten and restaurant with the most amazing food!! Short 10min walk to the train station to get to the heart of Munich! I couldn’t believe how wonderful everything was, especially for the price!! Will definitely recommend to friends!!

Hotel was pretty far from the Munich city center, but the train was only a 10 minute walk. It led you right into the city or wherever you needed to go in 20-25 mins.

Although outside the city, the hotel was in a nice, quiet area. There is a restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The only thing we did not like is that we put a \"Please Do Not Disturb\" sign on our door and when we returned after a day of seeing the city, somebody had obviously been in our room.

The \"Do Not Disturb\" sign was in the room, on the desk. Our curtains were shut (we left them open), and the food in the fridge had been tampered with.... it looked like somebody grabbed the container too hard and the sauce/juices from the container spilled all over.

We went to reception and they switched us to another room. The room we were originally in had an upstairs with a door that led to who knows where... The one they switched us to was a regular room with just one door in and out. Besides that the hotel and the staff were great.

The hotel staff great & restaurant downstairs as well as breakfast were very good and multiple choices. Upstairs in room very dark minimal lighting & stairs very steep. Only toilet is downstairs with extremely small shower with mold. Sofa bed is very bad and miserable to sleep on also leaves no room downstairs once it is made down. Cost are high for tourism as nothing is close to this hotel so taxi one way is 33-38 Euro so extra 75 Euro each day to travel to tourism area.

Nice hotel just outside of Munich.

Overall a very nice stay. Room was very nice with a private upstair away from the sofa bed downstairs. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. The waitstaff in the restaurant was also nice. The one guy bartending the night of our arrival was neither friendly nor helpful. He gave my son & I a very dirty look when I asked a question about where to pick-up \"take away\" room service items ordered over the phone & didn't help/tell us where we could pick up the food. All he said was \"the restaurant is over there\", & pointed in the direction. We already knew where it was, but not a soul was in it, nor was there anywhere labeled to go to actually pick-up over the phone orders. We ended-up walking out onto the patio & I found a server outside that helped us get our order. The hotel needs to address the parking as it's terrible, especially if you're out doing things late at night. 1st off, it's expensive for how much of a pain it is to park your car in tiny cramed spots. 2nd, there's not enough spots in the garage. I say that because 2 many cars didn't park staright enough so that other vehicles could even get into the space next to them. There should b spots designated for compact cars & others for trucks or SUV's. It would also be if there was a few designated spots for IHG members. The other issue is that the parking machine should take credit cards, not just cash. I didn't know that & the hotel staff never told me they could validate and charge to my room until I ck'd out.

WOW the staff was spectacular!!! Every effort was made to help us with every inquiry no matter how small. As we were leaving the hotel, they came running after us when they realized the time of night and where we could best get milk nearby. Another guest was having issues, and one of the desk clerks again literally ran up to the second floor to see about them. REALLY want to stay here again! And the Room was Wonderful too!!!

Excellent stay. Condition of property was very good.
Not much to do in the neighborhood but hotel had nice restaurant.
Only one small suggestion- housekeeping should be familiar with operation of hot water cattle.It did not work so they gave me a new one and left with old one without seeing if new one is working. when new one also did not work, they suggested that plug may be out of order. I tried at new plug point and it worked. Later it turned out that there was no need to do all that. Electric point at its usual storage point in the cupboard got activated if the tray was pulled out. That was not known to housekeeping staff also. There was no need to replace the kettle .Very good technology but not fully known to the staff.
Very helpful and attentive staff. Enjoyed my stay.

We came to Germany for Oktoberfest and for the money, this place was a good deal. Close to the metro and other shops. We came in early and the receptionists were so kind and immediately got us in rooms. They also upgraded us at no extra charge. The rooms themselves are a little outdated, but overall ok.

Staff was mediocre. Room refrigerator was not working, and I needed it for medication. I reported the problem at 9am and was told it would be repaired. Returned to the hotel at 11pm and it still had not been repaired. Terrible customer service.

The hotel is well located for trips into Munich and walking distance from a train station, 12 mins or so into town centre. Hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I personally prefer a shower cubicle to a bath with shower unit but i guess this is why this isn’t 5 star. It was good value for a 3 day stay and the service from the staff was excellent.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and spoke English which was helpful. The room was 2 stories and the bathroom had some counter space (not always the norm in Europe). No AC but the windows opened. Plenty of space for 3 people! They had 1 washer/dryer which was small and not very quick at drying but was free. The food in the restaurant was very expensive and not very good; we were definitely disappointed. We didn’t do breakfast because it was too expensive and we hadn’t been happy with dinner. They have a nice parking structure for a fee and there seemed to be plenty of street parking as well. There’s a train station about a 1/4 mile away and a couple of places to eat but not a whole lot if you’re walking. We mostly ate in other areas. It’s outside of town but not a big deal with the train. We even caught the train to Neuschwanstein which was nice.

Nice hotel hidden in Munich suburb

The hotel is very accessible, whether coming with car or by public transportation. The train station is only ten minutes away by foot. There are a lot of shops and food stores around the hotel. The closest McDonald's is only 300 meters away. Going to Munich is only about 20 minutes away by S-bahn from Taufkirchen to Marienplatz.

In the beginning, we were concerned about the location of the hotel because we took the train to the Unterhaching stop and it was pretty far from the hotel (we had to take a taxi). Once in the hotel, we learned that the stop was actually the next one, Taufkirchen. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the S3 train to Marienplatz (another 15-20 minutes). From there, we walked to all the main sites in Munich. Once we got used to the easy commute, we enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. The hotel was clean, quiet, with friendly staff. We had dinner at its restaurant the first night which was very good. The room was comfortable (size, bed, toilet, shower), good wifi and air conditioning. Nearby bakery for breakfast, coffee, or a treat and a supermarket in the walk back to the hotel.
Will recommend this hotel.

Very nice and fresh hotel! Good for families!

Very nice hotel! Clean and fresh! We got at room on two floors wich was very convinient for oss because the kids could sleep on a separate floor. Litle fridge in the room wich is also very good to have. Grocery stores only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Free parking wich is a pig plus! And only about 25 min to central München!
I rekommend this hotel, I will definitly stay their again when in München.

Hotel is quiet and comfortable. Rooms are practical and functional. Plenty of room, although the location of the suitcase shelf is not ideal. I couldn't open the door between the hallway and the bedroom all the way with my suitcase open. The free parking is a 100 meter walk from the hotel. The free parking lot is a plus, but it is a walk and in the rain, the middle of the lot becomes a pond.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Ate in restaurant for the first time and it was very good.

I have stayed in this hotel 3 times, so obviously I feel like it works well. I would stay there again.

A great hotel but location to Munich is a distance

When I booked this hotel I expected it to be much closer to Munich then it is...it is a 25 to 30 minute train ride from Munich provided the tracks are open and running. We got off the train at \"Unterhaching\" late in the evening and no one knew where the hotel was located. We walked with our suit cases in the cold windy night for another 45 minutes plus in the direction our GPS told us. Once we found the hotel-it's a gem. The staff told us to stay on one more train stop and it would be a 10 to 15 minute walk to the hotel. The staff was excellent, the food at the hotel was very good (breakfast and/or dinner) and the room was perfect for 3 adults with 2 bathrooms and plenty of space. It's a great hotel, but the distance to Munich by train was a drawback

The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the S-Bahn which made it convenient to get around Munich and catch trains out for day trips. The room had an upstairs bedroom and downstairs sitting room with a foldout couch. It was a little cozy for 3 people, but there was plenty of closet space so that was a plus. It also had a mini fridge--another plus. The bathroom was very tiny and poorly designed. The cleaning staff was hit or miss as to whether they replaced used up toiletries, kleenex, TP or coffee. The breakfast was a ridiculous price of 22- euros per person, which of course, we did not pay--luckily there is a nice bakery and stores nearby. It is a basic business chain hotel, so don't expect much charm, but it certainly met our needs for an extended stay.
