Delicious breakfast with many options! Friendly staff, comfortable room. The cleaning staff did a great job on a daily with restocking the room with fresh towels. Excellent location near the station, restaurants and grocery store. The only negatives would be the pillows were too flat. We had a fan instead of an AC, but opening the window did ventilate the room. All in all this was a very good choice for our family of 3 and we would definitely stay here again!

I had an excellent stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s parking underneath the building which was good to have. My room was comfortable, had good heating and was very clean. Breakfast was really fantastic. Lots of options, cereals, granola (different varieties), cooked breakfast eggs, bacon, sausages and more, pastries and lots of them. All of good quality, not the generic kind. Coffee as well, fruit as well of course. I would stay again. Excellent transport to Munich centre too.

We liked this hotel. We were here for Oktoberfest and it was fairly convenient. Just a few train stops away. The bar/ restaurant attached to the hotel were very nice. The decor was modern and our room was small but comfortable.

Restaurant a bit pricey with limited choice but very good quality and well presented. Free parking. Very close to S-Bahn for easy journey into Munich. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very good stay here with a toddler. The room offers all the functionality needed for a family stay (e.g. fully equipped kitchenette). Very convenient and clean. It offers a free parking in a nice neighborhood with easy access for groceries. It is only 20 mins drive from Munich city center. We wil return of we visit Munich again.

It's a good hotel near München. Room was clean and everything was ok I don't have any complains. Staff is helpful. Few bars are near and grocery store is not so far away. Train station is around 500-600m away so not so far and you can be in main station in München in 15 - 20 minutes.

The place is a bit far from center, at 20 mins sub way run but serene. Can see alps from the hotel on clear day. The hotel was clean with room size reasonably good and interior was good.
Cons
Internet was not good in room.
Coffee maker was not working. On request staff did nothing to help us saying that hotel is full. Over all service part of the hotel needed improvement.
Bathing area in a three bedded family room doesn't have dooror curtain and glasses were clear which is quite unusual in a family room.

We stayed 3 nights here. Our first night the room was warm and no fan to move the air. Opening the windows to the fire escape helped cool down the room.
We were moved to a larger room just down the hall and it is much nicer. Half of the ceiling is glass and wonderfully comfortable.
The restaurant adjacent is nice but spendy.
Great Wifi and quiet neighborhood.
Easy access from the parking lot although parking is limited and sometimes gets full due to the adjacent restaurant patrons ignoring the no parking signs.
I would stay here again.

Decent hotel and location even with renovations

Over all nice place and room was clean. There was no service for the rooms, garbage or towels unless requested. Also there was a lot of renovation work going on that was messy and a little noisy but not that big of a deal. Nice little town with basic services. Great spot for visiting south Bavaria at an economical price

When we book the place, it was not mentioned abt the renovation. Much later we received an email to inform us abt the renovation and therefore breakfast would not be available, which was fine with us as we didn’t plan to hv breakfast at the hotel. When we arrived, we were not able to use kettle, even spoon as they said due to renovation, kitchen is closed. They hv no common fridge for us to use. No air condition/ventilation and no fridge.

Property is under construction, therefore didn’t have options to eat breakfast. Elevator out of order due to construction. WiFi was offered but did not work in our room. We prepaid and felt we should have been offered a partial refund as the hotel was not what we had paid for as per the description. There is no air conditioning and I had to ask for a fan. Thank goodness this was in the write up regarding fans available as staff did not offer upon checkin.

- supermarket on the ground floor

Cons:
- extremely unstable wifi inside the room, we were forced to stay close to the door to use internet
- tv is not smart, no possibly to watch YouTube
- despite I asked on the reception desk and put the green sign on the door, nobody came to remove our garbage and add coffee cups (we stayed for 5 nights)
- no fridge
- no microwave

Not recommended for the long stays, too small for 3 people (third bed is not comfortable)

Great Place to Stay in Munich

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is situated in a quiet part of the city of Munich (Unterhaching), which reminds me of a quiet well kept suburb with plenty of things nearby. There is a discount supermarket (Penny Market) on the first floor, a sauna and gym in the hotel and the S3 Bahn Subway/Railway station is about 300 meters away (Munich Central Station, Hauptbahnhof, is about 20 minutes away on the S3). You can even hear birds in the area in late March when you open windows.
The staff was very helpful and even let us check in a lot earlier than normal check in time. The price was very reasonable. The room is spacious, clean, well kept, and the beds were very comfortable (we had three people). The wireless connection worked well and the TV had a variety of channels including English ones. We will definitely stay here again anytime we are in Munich.
The only issues we had are more personal preference or cultural difference ones, such as shower water pressure could have been better, and the pillows for the beds are interesting but workable (they consisted of one oversized square pillow that was made like a down comforter, and some small aircraft like pillows). We brought our own pillows because of neck issues and the combination worked great. The check in is on the second floor, so we suggest you get your room first, park in underground garage and bring luggage up in the elevator.
Overall, this has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

It is a very strangely set up hotel. Lobby is on second floor and must use stairs to get there with bags. Tiny elevator busy most of time. Could not make international phone call because staff was ignorant about digit codes so call would not go through. Our room was located in a connecting annex that had a ramp we had to walk through every time we wanted to go outside the hotel. Nightmarish setup. Very confusing overall.

We used this as a \"less expensive\" place to stay while visiting Munich and Oktoberfest. It's a nice place, with a good (but a bit pricey) breakfast, a short walk to the train to get into central Munich and/or Oktoberfest park. Several restaurants in the area (GOOD Greek place a few steps away). We would stay here again.

My son and I had a great stay at Hotel Demas Garni. The room was modern, clean and quiet. The bathroom was just large enough with a very nice shower. The only interaction I had with the staff was at check-in and check-out and they were friendly. The hotel location is great as it is about 5-10 minute walk from the train station, and a 15 minute train ride to Munich city center. There are several restaurants in the area and a Penny grocery store on the ground level.

The hotel is in the residential area.its 5 mins away from the city train. Our room is located near the school and so you hear kids and teens working by. A grocery store is below the hotel which is convenient but you hear the people delivering the goods. The room is ok but pillow is so flat and there’s only one. There’s a few restaurants around the area. The lobby is on the second floor and not very welcoming. It’s an hour to the airport by city train

My wife and I spent three nights at the hotel while visiting Munich. When we arrived the guy at the reception was more interested in his phone that in us.
Bad: The room is extremely small. No fridge, No tea/coffee facilities except for a very small kettle
When I went to ask about the fridge the guy just said \"no you got no fridge, only the apartments have it\" and put his earphones back.
Good: The place was clean. It is located at walking distance to the train station
