We reserved a king room and the put us in a double. One of the beds were broken and they didn’t fix it or move us. They went to fix the bed and just left it up against the wall. They didn’t down charge us for the lower quality room or compensate us for the broken bed. Didn’t care at all as long as they were getting their money. Don’t stay here.

Been all over the country. Travel for my husband’s job.. this is a CLEAN, QUIET, hidden lil gem off the expressway. Room was extremely clean, front desk staff were great! I’m disabled and I have a service dog. He was welcome and he loved it too!! Had an issue with out bank debit card. Had to get a new one. Front desk was more than understanding.. it’s nice to see that GREAT customer service is still around. Had my hubbys union put this hotel on the board so all the guys who come to work at Cleveland Cliffs stay here! They deserve the business! Great place…..

Warm friendly welcome from staff. Gal had to fix our tv took her 1 minute lol. I write a LOT of reviews because we travel 8-10 months a year for my hubbys job. Today I called the union hall to advertise for this hotel because a LOT of construction workers come to work at Cleveland Cliiffs 15 minutes away, I usually wouldn’t go sooo out of my way, but they’re such nice people. Had an issue with new debit card because we’re from Chicago and they worked with my husband. I'm disabled and it’s hard to move with a service animal etc.. they were great. The union is going to use them for all future traveling jobs to Cleveland Cliffs. They DESERVE THE BUSINESS! SUPER CLEAN AND SUPER QUIET…

Check-in was horrible. Timid kid with incomprehensible accent. Had to ask her to repeat once or twice or more every time she spoke. Like talking to customer service warehouse in India! Room bare bones but okay shape. I was fine with everything until there was NO blanket, just 2 sheets and NO hairdryer!!!! Who travels with a hairdryer anymore?!?!? NO ONE! Every hotel room, regardless of how bare bones it is, has a hairdryer in the bathroom!!! I ended up bringing in the blanket we keep in the car while traveling. No coffee in room and bitter, thick coffee made one home sized pot at a time in lobby was nearly undrinkable. The only positive in the whole stay was that they honored my request for a close up room because of a recent knee injury. They did a great job with that.

Motion lights near door to room and bathroom should have a way to revert to normal operation as getting up in middle of night to use bathroom was very annoying. Smoke alarm went off in the hotel at 11pm on Sat night. Luckily is was a non-emergency and the staff was quick to disarm and stop it in approx.15-20 minutes time.

Best: Three night stay at a deep discount. Staff very friendly. Lobby clean. Area had food and shopping within walking distance. Entire stay was quiet and peaceful.

Worse: Rug in hallway leading to my room was worn, filthy and smelled bad. Room looked and smelled cleaned but upon further inspection, walls were filthy. Lamp shades had unrecognizable stains. The property is a bit dated, but it served it's purples. We got in around 11:30 PM and left around 8:30 AM. The bed was more comfortable that what i thought it would be for the age of it. The room had vinyl flooring which I prefer to carpet. The \"comforter\" was just a heavy sheet. There was no extra blanket on the bed just the comforter and a top sheet. Also no extra blankets in the room, but you could ask for them. They did have updated bathroom sink and mirror. I would recommend mainting where they took off things like a hanger on the door that was removed after they painted the doot and paint the wall around the toilet because the new toilet has a smaller tank than the old one. The A/C worked well which was very much appreciated. The water pressure was great. They also had free toiletries if you forgot basics. Overall not a bad olace to stay.

Could've provided more towels, though Im certain that if I had asked for them, I would've gotten them; just ultimately didn't need them for just two people, barely. It was horrible. Forgot to clean room twice no towels no morning coffee.empty. Keeps blaming others even when they promised to clean. We had to put towels and garbage in halls because they said it was the other shift didn’t do it and they are not responsible. We called hotels . Com and Sam said that the rates would be corrected to $59. Not $79. as posted on your sight. Why would I use the hotel . com or your recommendation again?

Not enough light in the room. Light and fan went on automatically in the bathroom - ditto the light by the door - when either of us went to the bathroom during the night, which bothered the one who was sleeping. Room was chilly, and the blanket on the bed was too thin to warm us during the night. Controls for the TV were not intuitive. But the room was clean, and the front desk people were very polite and helpful. And the refrigerator and microwave worked well.

The property is located below another quality hotel, but has a charming, privacy because of the trees. It has ample parking and is very quiet. The bed is good quality, everything in the room was clean, including very clean and attractive wood flooring instead of carpet, which I liked. Perhaps the proprietors will replace the hallway carpeting, which is somewhat worn. There is no elevator, which is not needed for a two-floor establishment. There are two vending machines in-house, but a nice walk up the hill to Sheetz provides all the snacks and so forth that you may want. I found it very convenient. There are many fast food and restaraunt selections nearby. Instead of driving, for instance, I could walk over to Wendy's for a burger, and across the street there is a Starbucks. Crossing the main thoroughfare is easy because there are button-controlled lights for pedestrians. Of course, with my car, I had great access to food and shopping. I really liked this establishment. The proprietor is very gracious and accommodating. While I missed in-room coffee, it was not a big deal. The proprietor serves coffee in the lobby and it is easy to get coffee nearby. I really liked the place and will stay there again for my next visit to the area.
