The carpeting in the halls, they need replaced. The walls in the rooms need painted. R door didn't spring close. When u opened the door, it swang wide open and u had to shut it. R dog almost slipped out waiting for us to close the door shut. No conditioner or no tub, it was empty. Won't be returning

The bed frames have stains all over the shower wasn’t not cleaned well and the hot tub was occupied all night by one group with very loud speaker blaring music and the bubbles in the hot tub were brown due to the people who were occupying it

Staff was wonderful. Room was clean but very outdated. All rooms at this location can be pet friendly, and it was obvious some pets had been friends there (looked like the chair had been a surprise scratch post a few times in the past) but as I was traveling with pets this did not bother me. We found old lotto tickets under the mattress. Felt safe in the building and parking lot. Gas station and some fast food very close so great for after a long day of travel. All in all happy with the stay here and would stay again

Room smelled terribly, so did the hallway. The room seemed very neglected, the bathroom vent was hanging out of the wall, there was a large gap under the door, the shower got visibly cleaner as it ran, the fridge had clearly not been cleaned for a while, and seemed generally run down.

The rooms were not very clean, there was black mold on the shower head. It smelled of marijuana daily. The floors were not mopped daily and I understand it’s in the wintertime but the elevator floor was dirty as well. I will never stay here again when I return to Ohio.

Staff on duty worked hard to maintain facilities but need more staff. Small details overlooked. people on duty didn’t have time or don’t pay attention small details like corners of elevator debris and worn out hallways carpet. Room itself was clean and well maintained. If it had not would have not stayed as disappointed with other areas. Like staff working and applaud the time they put in to assist when needed.

We booked this hotel, because it had a hot-tub and pool.. except we did not use the amenities because they were disgustingly dirty.
*The Hot-Tub had Filthy Dirty SCUM rings from not being cleaned or treated properly .. there were floating feces in the main pool.
There was Black Mold on indoor pool Windows *Causing Severe Health Risks to me and others, because I already have a weekend immune system and am on respiratory medications this is a Massive Health Threat.. the whole Poole area should have been Isolated and sealed off to prevent spores from spreading and from indigestion.
*The indoor carpeting was all stained and disgusting and had not been vacuumed. The doors were filthy, the room floors had not been cleaned. There was accumulated dirt surrounding all the edges of the room floors and ontop of all the baseboards, & extremely thick dust on electrical plugs sockets. And the furniture had not been moved for a deep clean in a very long time…! We requested another room and were told No other rooms available..!
The TV remote didn’t work, and there was no maintenance person available to come to the room and fix it.
The rooms ventilation systems were crusted with disgusting black filth.
The vending machines were out of order.
The front desk was not helpful .. except to supply batteries for the TV remote which I had to make a trip to the lobby desk again, to ask for, since the Room phone was busted and did not work. Breakfast areawas uncleanly.. Terrible !!

Staff very courteous. The hotel was located near freeway for convenience. The room was not very clean. Spiderwebs were found in the corners of the ceiling. The walls had stains of some sort. The drawers on the dresser would slide open and stay open on its own. The tub had a ring stain that seemed permanent. The linens had hair on both beds and in both rooms after I told the front desk and switched rooms.

1a bush blocked the walkway from the handicap park space to sidewalk 2. The handrail in the bathroom was removed, only 2-holes where is was remained, we asked for a new room my wife needs a rail, manager said none were available 3-dirt was in all the corners of the bathroom 4-toaster did not work in the morning for breakfast 5-bagel was stale 6-manager was at the desk would not answer the phone when Expedia called to confirm information for our refund due to family emergency, we had to leave the next day

The rooms were very rundown, scratched surfaces on all

Trying to moderate this review. We didn’t mind the stay. The room was average, the staff was nice. Free parking and breakfast are a plus. However, all carpet/rug areas were really really dirty. My son’s socks turned black from walking in the room without his shoes on. It’s nice that there is a pool and hot tub but that room really needs maintenance, there was a layer of dirt floating on the hot tub bubbles. Also, the whole place smelled like weed. With some regular deep cleaning, we would have been happier but it was not a bad stay overall.

Disappointing LaQuinta in need of a lot of work

Check in was fine, but the room was not cleaned well at all. The carpet had trash on it (like a candy wrapper we picked up amongst hair and other debris). There was also hair on some of the ‘clean’ towels and bedding. We checked in later and heat decided to make do after traveling all day. This LaQuinta is old and in need of remodel and is NOT the quality of others we’ve stayed in. Doors are rickety too and our room door had to be shoved closed. Our “suite” was really just two old connecting rooms and one room had a pull out sofa with a mattress with holes in it. No sheets, just a blanket and a pillow with eyelashes (not ours!) on it. Overall, a crappy experience and nothing was addressed except they gave us two new towels.

I was happy with the room, it was clean and everything worked fine. The only thing I didn't care for were the pillows. We appreciate there were plenty but once you lay on them for a few minutes they go flat and actually get hard.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman who refurbished the towels in the pool.
The pool needs some maintenance, I actually fell into the pool when I tried to get in from the ladder. The top rung was missing.

Horrible Stay

This was a disgusting hotel. I haven't slept nor even a minute. I showed up for a concert with my husband so we didn't check the room before heading out and when we can back late in the night we realize:: this is the hotel that people live in. The mattress is covered in stains. There are rips I'm scared and this has been terrible!!!! There is an overwhelming smell of mold or mildew.

There was a glitch in the system that booked me for October 3, not the fourth, I got a text message, acknowledging my stay, which I had not completed at that time the morning of October 4. I called the front desk and explained to them that I had booked it for the fourth not the third she told me it was not her fault and not her problem and told me she was not going to do anything to make it right. Told me to contact Expedia, which I did, and then she refused to answer five phone calls from them. Whoever the owner or manager is of this location needs trained regarding customer service.

The hotel only has feather pillows. I’m extremely allergic. When we asked for hypoallergenic pillows I was told it was an upscale hotel that didn’t have anything but feather pillows. It was very dismissive and not understanding. This has been a disappointing trend in La Quinta’s that has caused me to avoid them.

Don't stay here!
The hotel is run down and dirty. Carpeting in the hallways is filthy, stains and banged up walls. Bathroom had mold on the floor.
The shampoo, lotion, etc. were random sample of items they must have collected.
Our room smelled like urine. When I mentioned that at the desk I was told we asked for adjoining rooms which was only available on the first floor. The clerk then mentions the first floor is where they put their guests with pets. Considering the awful smell, a dog must have urinated on the carpet.
If we'd been told the first floor was for pets we would not have taken a room there. Adjoining rooms were not required but a convenience.
It is an awful place! You will be very disappointed if you stay here.

The carpets are dirty, the hot tub has ~ 5 inches of foam over the surface, the breakfast was greasy... the biggest surprise was that they will not make up your room unless you specifically ask them for the service by 9:00 AM... they will offer to dump sheets and pillow cases off on you if you want to make up your own room, but this is the 1st time I've ever encountered this. This hotel is one of the worst I've ever stayed at - avoid it.

My room smelled like cigarettes, no drain plugs in sink, heat/ac didn’t work properly, windows weren’t insulated so I heard traffic and construction all night long, elevators smelled like cigarettes, hot breakfast items were questionable with ice cold eggs and multi-colored sausage, the coffee station was dirty, the pool area was likely not maintained with what is assumed to be mold growing on tiles, a substance growing on ventilation outlets, and floaties in the water. I saw two or three families with small children here and felt terrible for them. Do NOT stay here. It’s cheap but there’s much better options at this price point. The Mexican restaurant across the road was great though!

This being a pet friendly property, they should put pets in their own area of the hotel so as not to disturb people that don't have pets. Also, due to some being allergic to pets...the hotel should be separated accordingly. There were 2 dogs in the room next to ours that howled and cried off and on all night. And my friend kept sneezing.
