Room - making the bed is not cleaning the room. The microwave and fridge were sticky and had something spilled on them. The walls had dirt on them and need to be wiped down.
There was a strong scent that seemed to just be covering up a bad smell throughout the building and room.
You get what you pay for, lesson learned. We will not be staying there again.

Dirty hotel (carpet: muddy everywhere). Noisy from pets and people staying up the night playing loud music and perhaps partying. Outside poop not picked up from people with pets. This place should be condemned. It’s a non smoking hotel but you can certainly smell cigarette odor throughout. Unbelievable.

They need to have the full front walk cleared. Also if they allow dogs, they need to remind others that stay to keep Dogs quiet. So people do get up early and go to sleep early also.

Actually, I didn’t have a great stay. While check-in was fast and easy, the positive first impression didn’t last long. Unfortunately, I got a connecting room with only a door separating me from the other guests next door. They were talking and watching TV even at 2:00 in the morning, the time when I am writing this review. They were not partying or behaving in a way that was out of the ordinary. Yet, it seemed like they were staying at my room considering the noise. The walls are paper thin, the connecting door is obviously not soundproof. I am forced to listen to every conversation, every program on their TV, every cough, every flush in the toilet, etc. I doubt that I will get sleep tonight.
If sleep is important to you, do not stay at this motel! If you do, be sure to ask for a room without a connecting door! Maybe you will have better luck than I did.

Room was clean and okay for a 1 night stay. Checked in late at night and checked out early. My only complaint was in the morning I was woke up to someone in the hall yelling to be let in a room. It left me a little uneasy but didn’t last long enough for me to complain. Also I had to take pillows off the other bed in the room because the pillows were flat.

Shower curtain was rigged by someone who had no idea what they were doing. I had to fix it to stay in place so water wasn't everywhere. Toilet seat would not stay up. Had to lay a twel over it to keep it up when urinating. No hot water in the morning to shower.

To start off there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. The front staff was friendly, but did not have conditioner, meaning I had to go buy some. Next, we had a two queen bed room. One of our two beds was broken, it made tons or noises, and the metal springs could be felt from the one side. The stairwell near our room also smelled of weed, even thought the hotel was smoke-free. Also, the room had multiple stains, most in the bathroom.

Room was clean, customer service was good. Could use some updating. USB outlets would be awesome. This is my second stay at this location and I accidentally booked a wheelchair accessible room. The problem in the room was the sink and end tables next to bed were slanted just a little. I don’t know if that was meant to be like that, but I couldn’t keep much on the sink as there was no counter space and the soap fell right into the sink. Other than that, it was great.

Awful. Skip. I expect some things from a budget motel, but this was BAD. The hallway carpet is black from traffic, the elevator looked like a parking garage elevator, the bathroom was appalling. I have stayed in cheap hotels before, but this was the worst. It is very clear that there are \"resident type\" of folks. My neighbor was blaring music well past midnight, and had to be dealt with 3 times before turning it off. At least the manager did that. The neighbor also had a dog that barked all night, scratched and banged at the doo, and no one did anything about it. The only positive was an absence of bugs and seemingly clean linens.

Upon arrival, none of the outdoor lights were working and I was dissatisfied bc I arrived at night. I did mention it to the front desk. However, my room was spotless, water is hot. The next day, all the outdoor lights were back on, which afforded the 4 stars. Amenities are few, though I knew this up front.

I did not use the laundry services. Check-in staff could barely speak English. The carpet on the stairs was ratty and filthy. Carpet on the 2nd floor not quite as bad.
Parking was well lit. Mattresses were new and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and towels. No complimentary box of tissue in the bathroom. (Minor detail). Walls through out the room, stairwell and halls were dirty and sticky. Microwave tiny but clean.
Will not stay again. Would not recommend.

I believe the property is used for residential low income individuals for a place to stay, which is great but our room smelt terrible. There were no amenities no screens on the windows and homeless people sleeping in the parking lot.

Absolutely the worst hotel stay I've had in a while (and I've only been here for about two hours). I have someone next door who sounds like he's wrestling ... running ... screaming ... and there is also a large dog doing the same, plus barking very loud. Every once in a while, someone leaves the room, slamming the door so hard that my room vibrates. This has been nonstop since I got here. Have a non-smoking room that smells terrible. And absolutely nothing included except soap -- bring your own shampoo because there is none in the room!!! Having stayed at several great hotels this past week (some cheaper), I can't get over how bad this one is.

The entire place was filthy! The floors in the hotel stairwell was filthy abd had tears that could be a hazard. The floor in the room was slick and filthy. The management was rude and would not give me several more pillows or towels. My credit card was charged more than the amount that my email receipt indicated. When I questioned the difference, I got a run around from the hotel front desk person. They called the owner/management and he said he could come to the hotel in about 1 1/2 hours to credit me the difference. I said I wanted the credit made immediately or I would dispute the entire charge. The woman called the owner back and he talked her into doing the credit. I have a feeling this owner has been doing this same thing to all of the people who stay at this hotel. NOT GOOD!

Will avoid hotels that welcome pets after our stay

Pretty difficult to find Streetsboro; map appeared to indicate it was close to US 90 which is not accurate. When we entered the room, I immediately smelled what seemed to be cat urine; apologetic front clerk brought Febreze pet odor spray (not total solution but better). No shampoo or other room amenities (just hand soap). Parking easy.

Motel 6 is a great option for less money. For only 66 bucks per night, the place offers friendly and helpful staff, quiet and clean rooms with air conditioner, microwaive and a fridge. The front desk called my room after I checked in, to make sure everything was okay.

When we arrived I had to wait while a staff member finished up a phone call as didntwo other customers. The hotel lobby is shabby very run down. It could use a goid cleaning and painting. The door was dirty I didn’t want to touch it. The ice machine was leaking all over the floor. The smell was less than desirable. The room was FILTHY! The walls had dirt all over them. They looked like they had not been wiped down in years. The matress on the pull out was disgusting! When my son went to ask for sheeta for it because they didn’t have any in the room he was given a blanket. I called down and asked for sheets and a pillow and they hadme send him back down to get them. They only gave him a flat sheet not a fitted one. We found a pacifier under the matress of the pullot which tells me they don't clean it. The shower curtain rod was barely hanging. They had a piece of wood holding up one side of the curtain making it hard to keep the curtain closed. The drain cover was not attached and moved around the very slow draining shower. The toilet seat was broken I am pretty sure as it was not stable on the toilet. They only give you two pillows for a room that sleeps 4. There were no toiletries except soap and only two large towels. This room sleeps 4. It was a suit, but I wouldn't categorize it as such. The walls were terribly chipped up and again FILTHY! This place needs some updates like paint and a good cleaning. I understand that it is a Motel 6, but that is no excuse for filth!

We were traveling for summer for a month in Maine and stopped off here for convenience and cost and boy were we pleasantly surprised. We will definitely return.

I’d give them 10 stars across the board. The only reason I rated the facility slightly lower is because the pool was closed. Aside from that, everything was top-tier from check-in to check-out.

The cleanliness was outstanding—the place smelled fresh, and housekeeping came two to three times a day. The hallways were always clean, with air fresheners and regular trash pickup. They even managed mail for short-term guests.

Traveling with a small pet, I really appreciated how well-kept the rooms were—no odors, no pet hair, and no signs of other animals.

Overall, it was an excellent stay for me and my family.
