Nice big rooms very clean. My first night there was a very, very loud booming pounding musical event on the floor right above me keeping me up way too late. My complaint did, however reach management who credited my room with a generous amount. I felt very well taken care of. I had one dinner and breakfast in hotel quite excellent.

This was just a quick stay to be closer to the airport but the hotel was excellent! We arrived early and they held our bags while we played at Universal then arranged transportation to the airport the following morning. Property was clean and safe.

I stayed at Sheraton Universal Hotel for two nights in a two-bedroom suite with a sofa bed sleeper, as we are a family of five.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It’s extremely convenient for visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The room itself was spacious enough for our family and generally clean, which we appreciated.

However, several issues made this stay very disappointing for the price point. One major issue is that the Jacuzzi was out of service, and this was not communicated at the time of booking. That was a letdown, especially since amenities like that often influence hotel choice.

On top of that, we had ongoing problems with guest services. The first night, we called twice requesting bedding for the sleeper sofa, which was not provided in the room. Both calls went unanswered and the bedding never arrived. The second night was worse. We called three separate times and still never received a fitted sheet for the sofa bed. We had to make do without proper bedding for the entire stay, which was uncomfortable and unacceptable for a suite meant to accommodate five people.

Overall, while the location and room size are good, the lack of communication, unresponsive guest services, and missing or unavailable amenities made this a frustrating experience. I would likely choose a different hotel in the area next time.

Went into the room. The bed was extremely old and mattress was so uncomfortable that my wife had a severe back ache. Hair dryer was not working, they didn’t give enough complementary waters. Phone set wasn’t working. We asked for toothpaste and towels and they never sent it and ignored any request you made. Look elsewhere if you value your comfort

Loved our trip, celebrating our anniversary. Room was perfect. Had no issues except for one…the wind! Not sure if it’s because the hotel was built a certain way but the wind was crazy! Almost sounded like a crazy storm. Woke up like 6 times throughout the night. Again, it was a perfect trip and the wind is out of the hotels control lol but if you really want to rest and get a good nights sleep, don’t stay during windy weather.

Whichever floor you stay on, I strongly discourage any spending a night on the third floor. The disturbance of freeway noise will prevent any peaceful slumber, leaving the traveler feeling greatly disgruntled and fatigued the following morning.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at the Sheraton Universal Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, kind, and attentive, which made us feel truly cared for.

The location is absolutely perfect—especially if you’re visiting Universal Studios. It’s just a short walk, which made our trip so convenient and stress-free. After a long day, it was such a blessing to come back to a clean, comfortable room with beautiful views.

The rooms were well-kept, cozy, and provided everything we needed to relax. I also appreciated how peaceful the atmosphere was—it felt like a little retreat even though we were so close to all the excitement.

Overall, this stay was such a great experience, and I would definitely come back again. If you’re looking for convenience, comfort, and excellent service, I highly recommend the Sheraton Universal!

Well the elevator their were 3 but one was broken and the other two ran so slow that guests were taking the stairs and some stayed on the 19th and 20th floor because the wait time was so bad also be ready to be charged for EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING and we stayed in the hotel and they still charged us 55 a night for parking and we were their guests but all for all the hotel was so so nice to stay there the staff was exceptional especially Jerry our check-in guy oh and the bartender outside I can’t think of his name. He’s perfect. Recommended some eating places that was out of this world.

Only complaint is housekeeping knocking at our door at 9 am. We requested late check out the night before, not only did they knock on our door at 9am, they knocked on our door a second time before 11am. Our check out time was 12:30. I wish they would notate who has late check out before waking people up.

The door lock appeared to have some problems responding to the cards being issue. I noticed the cover for the tap on the card was removed given the impression that the issue had happen before . Some of the molding on the floor six elevator exit appeared to be missing and not replaced. .other than those issues the breakfast was awesome I paid for it when I booked it . The staff was friendly although my son locked me out of the room …. lol that was a learning experience. The gym was small but it had the bare equipment. The elevator from the parking structure to the front lobby was extremely hot from the sun you will be sweating while going down to the lobby . Parking spaces on the parking are super small . The pool was nice my son enjoyed it . Other than that I give it a 3 being a close to the the park hotel you sort of expect the details to be there .

Self parking was fast & easy to get to. Check in took a little long waiting on our room. Staff were all super friendly & helpful. They were constantly handing out popsicles to the guests. Hotel was clean but needed better a/c. It was rather hot. Room was super nice & clean. Room was a lil warm but once a/c was turned on it was perfect. Beds were nice and comfy. Bathroom was roomy and had a nice large shower. The only bad thing was when using the bathroom theres a weird window into the room that lights up and can be super annoying during the night. Pretty much wakes you up because it’s so bright. Other than that, our stay was excellent.

Was excited to see the city lights from this hotel and hopefully an overlook of Universal Studios. Got placed on the bottom floor where I had a view of a grey roof outside our floor length windows, right off the bat made me sad.
The shuttle to and from universal studios and universal city walk was nice, fills up fast but the drivers are nice, just have to have your kids sit on your lap to make more room for others.
Ordered breakfast in the room for one morning, breakfast sandwichs are good but are way over priced, as well as the milks. Didn't realize until after the fact that they charge an automatic 21% gratuity on everything, if I would have known this I wouldn't have wrote in such a big tip.
Went to the restaurant one night where you have to pay 45 dollars for a steak and 30 dollars for incredibly dry chicken, it's shown with sauce in the picture however mine did not come with any sauce.
Went to spend our last day in the pool with the kids, figuring we would relax, however a few hours in and there was poop in the pool, which I know wasnt the hotels fault but this left us with not much left to do since not much else was planned and the pool was tapped off.
Parking there if you do it yourself is 55 dollars a night, but they add on a parking tax too which brings it to over 60 a night, and since my room service with the parking brought my total to over the initial 200 they hold for incidentals they decided to place a hold on another 200 from my account. Fun fun...

The on site restaurant was absolutely delicious. The staff were all wonderful. The only negatives I would say we had were our first floor patio room only had 1 lock instead of the 2 that the sticker said it had, and the younger girl who worked at the Starbucks was very unfriendly. Other than that, the room was great and awesome location.

Our stay was truly saved by the incredible staff here. I arrived about two hours before our scheduled check-in feeling extremely ill from what I believe was food poisoning. I was actively sick and honestly just needed a bed and a bathroom as quickly as possible. When we explained the situation at the front desk, the team was unbelievably kind and accommodating. They did everything they could to get us into our reserved room as quickly as possible. That act of kindness truly saved the day and our entire family vacation.

The property itself is fantastic and very conveniently located within walking distance of Universal Studios and Universal CityWalk. Because of how close it was, I was able to rest and recover in the room while my husband and kids still got to enjoy the first day of our trip.

The amenities were great and ended up being incredibly helpful given our situation. Being able to order ginger ale from the bar and purchase medicine right in the lobby made a big difference while I was recovering. The shuttle to and from the park was a nice perk as well, though the walk is only about 8 minutes and very manageable.

After long days at the park, the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and easing sore legs from all the walking.

I would absolutely recommend this property for families or anyone looking for a clean, safe, and accommodating place to stay. The staff was so friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. I’m very grateful to them for taking such good care of us.

I have stayed here before but this time i was near the freeway side. I don't recommend. Very noisy. Traffic all night. Cars racing sounds coming from somewhere. Lots of sirens throughout the night.
