Really nice boutique hotel. Inviting and comfortable. Staff very friendly. I took a star away bc we had a couple of issues. First night there was a sewage smell in our room, and one day housekeeping never cleaned our room, even after we brought it to the attention of the front desk. It was a really nice place though and we would try it again.

We had the best weekend stay. Amazing property in a great location. We were in town for Universal Studios and we absolutely loved our stay. The staff was amazing. The rooms and common areas were clean and had a wonderful boutique cinema charm.

Friendly staff, clean room. Snags: overnight staff consists of a single person empowered to do nothing..so ‘service’ is only part time.

I stayed in room 240…from 5am til 6:30am EVERY morning, a steady rhythmical banging can be heard in bed…sounds like an unbalanced washing machine so I guessed its the laundry room. Management decided to do absolutely nothing about it (I don’t think they believed me as I wasn’t taken seriously).

So I won’t be staying at this place ever again.

Rooms are nice but staff is really difficult trying to get an early check in or trying to get a room at all. The 44$ resort fee is them just robbing you. Absolutely nothing worth 44$ extra. Will not stay here again.

This hotel is adorable. They have a beautiful bar area and very professional staff. The hotel was very clean. The only downside was there was a day where our room attendant forgot to make up the room when we left. They also don’t wipe anything down in the room or vacuum on a daily basis they just make the bed and replace towels. They do replace the garbage bags as well. The breakfast was very disappointing and I would not count on the breakfast if that’s included with your stay. The breakfast is a large pastry from a local bakery, which is wonderful but it’s accompanied by a quarter cup of yogurt and very boring granola. The pool area is lovely and the location of this hotel is perfect for getting around universal or being in a nicer part of Hollywood.

Hotel Amarano is my favorite Burbank hotel. Staff is so incredibly good at what they do and respectful of the costumer. Harvey at the bar is outstanding. Hotel is at the center of everything I need. I always rent the balcony rooms overlooking the pool - so peaceful.

My comments are directed at the staff. Im 65 yrs old and have traveled the world. The manager and the other younger staff member are the MOST welcoming, kind, professional, helpful, considerate, and provided the best service over self ive ever had. This was very important to me especially since my wife has early Alzheimers.

Staff was very friendly, exceptional. Room was not bad. There were some stains on a pillow case and towels, which happens with all white items, but; its not a good look. The (included) breakfast was mediocre and extremely limited. Not good if you are actually hungry. My biggest complaint was thing were not refilled daily, like coffee and creamer, make-up wipes, soap, etc. These are things you use daily, so when housekeeping does the room while you're out, those types of thing should be refilled automatically. Especially when charging a \"resort\" fee.

Really, the only standout of our stay was Grant, who understands good customer service.

My bed linens had stains and sheets were wet to the touch. Breakfast options were extremely limited for someone with food allergies, waitresses were cranky and abrupt, hot tub was crowded with kids and lukewarm in temperature, hallway our bedroom in was musty and smelled…

The staff was wonderful! Everyone who we came in contact with was friendly and professional- especially the valet parking staff. The room was clean, pretty and comfortable and the TV was able to cast from our phones!

The continental breakfast was the only disappointment. It was served- plain, thick Greek yogurt, dry granola, a tiny bowl of fruit and a muffin. When asked to order alacarte they were out of all of the protein items.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and give such a warm, welcoming vibe. A special thank you to the concierge man (sorry forgot his name) for being super helpful and accommodating an early check-in (subject to availability). A big thank you to Luccia at the front desk — she’s an absolute sweetheart and made the check-in process so delightful. Also, a shoutout to the valet attendant (tall and wears glasses) who was extremely helpful in assisting me with finding street parking.
Would definitely stay here again. The bed was incredibly comfortable — especially for someone who has a hard time sleeping anywhere other than their own bed — I slept like a baby. The rooms are very spacious, spotless, and well maintained. Highly recommend.

This is a nice clean boutique hotel, conveniently located near Hollywood and Universal Studios yet in a quiet neighborhood. These are restaurants and grocery nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, they stored our luggage while we checked out a nice Italian restaurant across the street. My kids enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub during the stay. We highly recommend this place.

They promised a top floor if we can wait until 3pm as we arrived 1pm so we finished our lunch and came 2pm it was still the same so we again came back little late than 3pm and was given a room at 1st floor right on top of valet parking facing which was making our stay uneasy due to continuous sound despite our long stay- I doubt we would again stay there. Breakfast complimentary is a myth as they combined with their food menu. All they offered was one croissant, small cup of curd and fruits!

This is a nice quit and private hotel, The only 2 things that really suck are the following.
1: No USB ports in the room or dining lounge.
2: they absolutely fist fu*k you for a bottle of water at $9.00 per bottle of Smart Water. The Vons across the street sells a 10 pack for $22. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic place to stay

This booking process was poorly designed and executed. I couldn't check in on the reservation I made through the hotels.com, so I had to check in for 2 nights and pay the hotel direct. I paid for 3 nights but only stayed for two. The hotel refuses to correct the obvious error and provided absolutely no help in rectifying the overcharge. Bad service is bad service.

We booked this hotel for one night after returning from our vacation in New Orleans. I booked a room with two double beds, but was given an accessible room with one king bed. I chose not to bring this to the hotel's attention because we were so exhausted after our flight. But it was kinda inconvenient because we needed two beds, and one of us had to sleep on the sofa without extra blankets or pillows. We had to share bedding amongst the three of us staying in the room. The hotel was clean, our room a little dated though especially the carpet needed to be replaced. The gentleman who brought our luggage to our room was friendly and professional. It met our basic needs but has room for improvement.

Great property and excellent staff. We always stay here when we come to Burbank. However, booking through Expedia is 2 stars. I selected and paid for a specific room but was emailed by Expedia that I had been “upgraded” to a different room. It was not an upgrade, it was just an ok room that was a big disappointment.

The location was wonderful, and the staff I encountered well all very attentive. Stayed 2 nights in a 1bedroom suit. (Housekeeping never came to my room).
When I checked into the room, I noticed the bathroom ceiling was leaking, and the drywall was falling. I did call front desk to let them know and someone came to patch it. The pictures are from an hour after they came to fix it. Was pretty disappointing having to deal with that especially since my stay was not cheap.

Cons: so loud all the time for no reason.
It sounded like someone was stomping around and slamming doors all morning. Yikes.
price gouging for amenities that are truly lacking or not taken immaculate care of (for the price)
Room was dirty; sink, toilet, small weird stain on blanket, dust everywhere. Just needed more attention to detail. Again, for the price.
Don’t get fooled by the pictures or the entry way. It needs some tlc so if you tryna spend $ check out a few other options first.

A great, relaxing modern hotel

Hotel Amarano is a really wonderful hotel. We stayed 4 nights while visiting friends in the valley, and the hotel is a luxurious home base. The breakfast food and service is outstanding, the pool and hot tub fantastic. We avoided the $45 a night parking by using the plentiful street parking around the hotel.
