The property was in terrible condition. The pillows and linens were old. The elevator was out of service for our entire visit. The heater was old and LOUD. It would kick on multiple times a night and wake me up. We barely had hot water to take a shower. The water pressure was terrible. I ended up going to the rec center to take a shower because of the water issue. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. They had Captain Crunch and warm milk. The coffee tasted like tar. I brought my concerns to the front desk, but nothing was done. They said since I booked through a 3rd party, there wasn't anything they could do. I was VERY disappointed, and I will not be returning.

The registration person was extremely rude at both check in and check out. The hotel elevator and the room were dirty, this included the bathroom and all surfaces in the room. There was no hot water for a shower. The best I could get was barely Lukewarm water. I tried turning the temperature selection knob different directions with no result.

Please upgrade the room to incude plugs or charging ability closer to the beds and ensure it's cleaned not just surface cleaned . The rooms are very old style. De-ice the parking lot or at least around the doors. If you list amenities on the rooms and hotel add, please have them available for guests to use. Soooo many cigarette butts around the front door was so gross and messy.
I stayed at this hotel last July 2024 and it was great. This time, not so much.

This hotel is in need of a lot of updating. The carpet in the hall ways was bubbling up and the whole place smelled musty and old. The walls in our room were peeling and looked wet. The pool water was warm but you’d need a jacket to sit next to it. Never had that much cold air around a pool before.

Everything was ok at best. More a or less an overall bummer. There was a level of dinginess to just about everything inside and around the property.
Staff seemed annoyed when we requested a room that wasn’t directly across from the hot tub in pool area. Gave us a third floor room away from the pool quite begrudgingly.
Water never got hot in sink or shower, shower/tub has a grey tone when it seemed like it should be white, carpeting in nearly all public spaces was buckled or taped down at seems, rickety luggage carts, dark and dank breakfast area which closes at 9am (seems early for a hotel catering to a variety of guests), parking lot and grass areas littered with trash, lobby door trash was overflowing with trash Sunday. Won’t stay here again.

Room 338 had torn carpet in multiple places. It was not well lit. The bathroom was not clean, with dirt and hair all over the tub. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast started at 6 am, but there was no coffee. The food was great, but not well stocked. If maintained better, this would be a wonderful hotel.

first room had a large stain on carpet, a dirty washrag on the sink and the bathroom fan has a nonstop loud squeal. Offered an upgrade but I had to take everything back to the truck and drive around to other side of building and bring everything back up an elevator. Then discovered the tv didnt work. Front desk said theyd send someone to look at it. An hour later no one had come so went to the desk again. They offered another move but I declined.Then 2 very young girls came to work on the tv. They got it going but by then it was bedtime. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was good with hot and cold items.
They told that Best western has bought it and will be remodeling. Asked for a discount for all the issues but they refused

When we checked in, because of a pet, we were placed in a first floor room, which actually more like the basement. First room opened to pool area and smelled of chlorine (?). Asked and was switched to room across hall but it was musty and smelled like cleaning solution to kill mold. They cancelled our reservation and we went to another motel.

The thing that upset me the most: our key cards quit working…which happens everywhere…we asked for them to be refreshed. She asked for the room number and refreshed them. She never asked us for ID just handed them over. She didn’t know who we were so she should have asked for ID. That makes the property unsafe to me.

I chose Best Western because it has a good name. However, this site lacked cleanliness and it was, frankly, falling apart (low maintenance. Exs: ceiling had parts missing; had to knock on the light above the sink to get it to turn on; knob to close off the sink water didn't work; dank smell; carpet under the chairs in main lobby had debris.

Once a beautiful place but now tired and in need of remodeling. Red tape on carpet seams, worn spots thru the carpet, rooms are dark and lighting is dim. The bed was comfortable, pillows too big, its nice when there is a choice between full and flatter pillows. The shower fluctuates when someone else showers. Outside needs concrete repairs also.

The good thing was you couldn’t hear people in the other rooms. The facility was awful. It stunk of smoke and musty. Thank goodness we had an outer room with a window to open. The rooms were dark and dank. Very depressing. The breakfast served pancakes and French toast that were hard as hockey pucks. The service at the facility was unfriendly, however the booking agent was great. The hot/cold were reversed, the internet was out more than working. The outer back door was broken and did not lock. The carpet was duck taped. The towels had holes in them. The keys had to be reprogrammed several times. The lamp shade was ripped. We were there with a group in 5 rooms. All were grossed out. Other patrons were asking us about some of the same issues. The tv didn’t work in one of the rooms. The tiny refrigerator rattled, popped and groaned. Some had the water back up in the bathrooms. And this isn’t everything that was unacceptable.

Disappointing Experience with this Best Western

I stay at a lot of Best Western hotels and have always had a great experience. However, that was not the case here. We originally booked a room with 2 queens, but the toilet was broken in that room, so the one manager graciously moved us to a King Suite with a pullout couch. I appreciated that. However, our girls were absolutely miserable with how uncomfortable the pullout couch was. But the really bad experience came when our new room's refrigerator didn't work, so all of our food went bad and had to be thrown out. When I informed a different manager at the front desk at check out, there was another guest there who had the same refrigerator issue. We were told it was our fault for adjusting the temperature, even though I insisted that I never touched it. When I asked if there was anything the manager could do to make up for us losing all of our groceries, he said no, and only insisted on offering to take me back up to the room and show me what I did wrong with the refrigerator - which made no sense at all. I would really like to give this Best Western, but the way the manager who was working that Sunday morning acted, I'm not so sure.

No fan in the bathroom and the water in the sink was hooked up backwards…. normally you turn the handle to the right for cold water, but it had to be turned to the left instead. It took a little getting use to. Also, please add an extra blanket in the rooms.

This property was probably the place to stay a few decades ago. The entry space is very nice and tidy but as we traveled to our room, the wear began to show. The carpet was held together in many places by duct tape. The room was okay. It was on the small side and the beds were older. The bedding was awful. There was a thin blanket and another sheet on top of the blanket. The bathroom was a big issue. There was no fan so it was very damp. Mold was growing on the ceiling and the wall was peeling between the toilet and the tub. The tub grout was mostly covered with mold and pink mildew. The furniture was a little dusty. Breakfast was mediocre. Water was not available and two out of three days they were out of coffee. The meal area was not well-maintained and the tables were sticky and floor dirty. We made it work but will not stay there again.
