Great room, great staff, great breakfast! We reserved a two-queen Executive Room and were assigned Room 607. Our four-night stay was spectacular, beginning from the first moment (we arrived about 9 a.m. but were allowed to check into our room right away) and running through the last moment (we had a late flight and were allowed a late check-out). The room was very large, with plenty of shelf and drawer space for clothes, a nice size balcony, an unusually effective electronically operated black-out curtain, and a large bathroom with a great shower. The staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous, even booking on-line ferry tickets for us to take a day trip to Colonia. The included breakfast was terrific, with plenty of hot and cold options, including lots of local fare. My only gripe would be that the room doors slam loudly when guests or housekeepers go in or out. Other than that, the room was exceptionally quiet.

We stayed at this hotel after a cruise and it was wonderful! The front desk staff and bell staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and service in the restaurant was outstanding as well. Not to mention, the hotel was very clean and modern. We cannot say enough nice things about this hotel and we would highly recommend!

Great hotel in the heart of the city, Comfortable with large rooms and bathrooms. All amenities provided ( if you like coffee they are a bit mean with the espresso pods!).

Best breakfast we had in Argentina, large buffet choice and then eggs to order, all great quality.

Only small niggle - the rooms say soundproofed which they seemed good for internal noise but the outside traffic was still very audible from our room overlooking the park, maybe the other side of the hotel is quieter.

Disappointing experience. We booked a room that was advertised in the Expedia listing as being quite large (560 SF), but the room was at best 250 SF. Perhaps this was a mistake made by the hotel in converting from meters to feet, but still — the room was less than half the advertised size. We managed, since it was just a one night stay, but would not choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

We did need to ask to change rooms since the park view one was exceptionally noisy, both due to traffic noise and dogs barking. This hotel was amazing. The staff were very friendly, professional and super helpful in accommodating requests. They assisted us in getting a babysitter for our boys, so that we could attend a tango show- our babysitter Milka was amazing with the boys. The food- from the breakfast to room service to the restaurant was top quality and very delicious. The spa and pool were also great- my husband and I had individual massages and it was one of the best we have ever had. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

For a 5 star hotel, the service level was not up to par. Upon check in we told them it was our 30th anniversary the next day. He said ‘very nice’, and that was the end of it. In general the staff just missed opportunities to be more valuable all along the way.

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental over my birthday and I had 5 staff wish me a happy birthday, a box of chocolates, then a dessert with a bottle of prosecco delivered to our room. They outdid themselves. The comparison at this hotel was stark. Basically if I ran this hotel chain, I would look at Mandarin Oriental and say, ‘how do we get our staff and service to be like them’. They would have years of work ahead to get there.

Normally I wouldn’t expect much, but I had just seen how good it could be.

This hotel was almost perfect. The room was very nice, terrific pool near the top, convenient to almost everything, stellar service throughout. The only issue was the shower - the water NEVER got hot. At best, it was tepid, and even then it would cycle from tepid to ice cold and back. Other guests shared having the same problem so it wasn’t just our room.

Arrived 4 hours early after a 20 hour haul and they not only checked us in early, but gave us a free upgrade! Room was lovely and bed sooo comfy! Drinks in the lobby were great way to end an evening too. Located a 20 minute or so walk from town and plenty of buses around - though we just walked or cabbed it about.
Would recommend so much, we’ll be staying here again in 3 days time on our return from Iguazu.

By the time we arrived at the hotel I was very sick. They offered me to stay at the relaxation room while getting the room ready and on the departure day they extended the check out till pass 4 pm. For someone that was so sick, these kind gestures made the unfortunate situation more bearable. I hope to return there in the near future and enjoy the city the next time. I'll start with the only MAJOR BAD: the outdoor pool - very poorly designed. The deck is boiling hot on your feet. Nor can you rest your arms on the deck while sitting in the pool - you'll burn your arms! The lounge chairs only get sun until 9:30am and then only shade. It's a restful space but unusable. What a shame! THE GOOD: We stayed for a week in Rm 503. Very spacious. Separate shower room and toilet/bathtub room which means two people could easily get ready in the morning. The balcony overlooked a beautiful plaza and was comfortable and private. Comfortable furniture and bed with sofa and chair too. Plenty of closets and drawers. The desk was large with many outlets. The WiFi did not work but when we called the desk, their IT person brought us our own personal router within an hour. Breakfast buffet was good although they like their eggs to run. We had to ask for bien hecho (well-done) every time. Dinner had some wonderful tastes although we only ate there 3 nights out of 8. We felt welcome and cared for. Thank you Palladio.
