Described as a Luxury Caravan, it was not luxury. It was comfortable and very basic. The amenities we somewhat lacking, no kettle for tea or Coffee. There were no shopping facilities for basic items, bread, milk, etc. I guess as it was winter, the restaurant was always closed. You need to have a car as nothing is near by. The cost of the stay was excessive. The Unit was clean, but stains on the curtains. Comfortable and very basic.

It's an okay place to stay with a boat into Venice every hour.

You'll struggle in the caravans if you're a light sleeper.
You can feel (yes, feel) and hear every movement of the guests in the room attached to yours. Unfortunately for us, we had some very noisy teenagers/20 something's next to us.

While who goes where is not real fault of the site, it did leave us a little unhappy with the experience.

Reception guy is very nice. We were very late like we reached 12:30 but they r nice and they helped us. It was neat and clean but there was no towels but they already told us abt the towels so we bring ours. Otherwise everything was great.
1st night there was no neighbour and it was quiet but the 2nd day 1 family came they bother us a lot.

The cabine moved every time the neighbour circulated in the room. There wasn’t resriction about the calm after 10pm. We were 3 peiple and it was juste one chair for lunch.

Caravan was very very wet. Everything got damp inside including the provided bedding.
Aircon seems to be leaking water, tried to explain to reception staff but they didn’t understand.
For a country that has such a high number of coeliacs I was horrified at the lack of food available to buy at your restaurants. The rest of Italy has been superb so was very very shocked by this

The Good
Nice looking site with a mini shop, pizza restaurant and swimming pool. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The site is ideal for the small ferry Fusina Zattere, located across the road to Venice [Venezia]. There is also a ferry Fusina Alberoni to an Island for a beach day out.

The Bad
The Deluxe Mobile Home [Lauri 14] was not fit for purpose - reasons & evidence.
1. The accommodation is a shared/partitioned static caravan! We were shocked to discover that we were sharing the accommodation. We could notice every movement and sound from the occupants in the other half of the caravan; as it is fundamentally a trailer on wheels. Nowhere does it state ‘shared’.
2. Lack of Basic Amenities There was no kettle, toaster or microwave in the kitchenette; severely limiting our ability to prepare meals and drinks.

The Ugly
3. Degraded Accommodation. Even though it oozed bleach, the mobile home smells musty/fusty and in parts rusty (e.g. light fittings). The fly blinds are filthy; ants are present. Yellowing/aged plastic.
4. I requested an alternative accommodation – they were all booked.

Summary: We would have to make absolutely sure that our accommodated was of a better quality and a “complete” mobile home to stay again (not shared). Then, we would definitely stay here again.

We, a family of 4, stayed in one of the 2 bed villas dor 2 nights. It is convenient location if you're visiting Venice. They've direct ferry access to Venice, a small market, laundry & Restaurant on site ate slso handy if you dont want to go far for necessities. Definietly recommend this for a short stay.

This campground is likely great in the summer, so please take this review accordingly. I went in late October. There was lots of rain. The smell of mold was quite strong in the room, which was a decent size with a bathroom and shower that were a decent size, there is no dehumidifying option unfortunately, and one of the mattresses in my unit was moldy. The curtains did not fully cover the windows. This place is very isolated from the rest of the mainland and the transit system shuts down early in the evening. On a good note, the market was decently filled and the prices were comparable to the ones in the city, and the restaurant had a decent selection with comparable prices and good food.
On a side note, though not related directly to the site, the ferry times are restricting if you are wanting to catch opera performances in Venice.
I would likely stay somewhere else if I came back to the region.

We couldn't get WiFi to work which caused us troubles. Other than that, it was good. It's a good value for the money.

It was probably mentioned in the details, but I missed the fact that they don't provide towel service for the type room we were in. Fortunately, I was able to purchase one at the store on site for 12 euro.

Fabulous week

Reading previous reviews I had a few reservations, but we had absolutely nothing to worry about. The location was perfect, the boat only took 20 minutes to get to Venice or the beach. We had fantastic views looking over to Venice. The pool has a lovely peaceful decking area ideal for chill out days (just don't forget your swim cap). The reception staff were so helpful and friendly. The shop is a bit pricey but ideal for essentials. The bar/pizzeria was good but slightly chaotic. One older lady called Monika seemed to do all the running around whilst the young ones stood about. All in all it was a fab trip and I would definitely stay there again. Just make sure you have plenty of mosquito repellant!

We were really pleased with this static caravan for the price we paid. Basic but cosy and more than enough. We had 2 nights, and visited Venice during the day, which is easily accessible on the boat, a 2 min walk from the campsite. Friendly staff, good amenities, and we would happily stay here again if visiting Venice or the local area.

The campsite is 5 minutes walk from the ferry to Venice. Office staff are very helpful. On site shop is very well stocked. Clean pool manned by attentive lifeguard. Chalet was clean with good air conditioning.
Kitchen utensils slightly limited. No oven, microwave, kettle or toaster in chalet.
Overall it’s a lovely campsite overlooking Venice.

Small lodgings but had basics we needed. A/C fast and powerful (important as plenty of mosquitoes when we were there). Warm and helpful people at reception and on site. Perfect for our three days in Venice. If not arriving by car work out all your ferry timings, to see if they work for you. Bus service infrequent. Last ferry back from Venice 8.30pm in summer.

Conveniently near a dock for the ferry to Venice which is €13 per person (return). Has a nice pool, so on hot days can be nice to chill. LOTS OF MOSQUITOS. Me and my partner were covered by them. She had around 16 bites on her quads, and I had them all over my arms and calves. (Just from the 5min walk to our room from reception. Lots of screaming kids at night, (only there for dinner). TRANSPORT: next to nothing. Had to pay €70 for taxi transfer to and from the Venezia Mestre station. Buses don’t run on the weekends and don’t run late to the accommodation. It’s in the middle of an industrial estate, no pollution (smell or noise) but is in the middle of nowhere. The room we booked was nice, a bit small though, not much room either side of the bed to get in and out.

Abbiamo alloggiato nel camping per breve: 2 notti a metà aprile. Bungalow con cucina carino e piccolo, ma un po’ sporco. Per il resto della cabina, veramente ben arredata e completa di varie stoviglie.
La piscina era chiusa, apre a maggio.
Per quanto riguarda il bar, il ristorante, il supermercato i prezzi sono molto turistici (un po’ sopra la media), ma i cornetti sono ottimi. Ci sono piatti per vegetariani (a parte uno che viene bollato come vegetariano ma ha tonno dentro). Mancano però piatti per vegani, di cui sono totalmente privi.
Molto buono e comodo il servizio trasporto con zattera fino a Venezia (costo andata e ritorno €13).

My husband and I were looking for accommodations near Venice that would not break the bank. Camping Fusina provided us with easy on the wallet accommodations that were a seven minute walk to a water taxi that got us to Venice in 20 minutes each day. We rented a private camper \"trailer\", and were just a little surprised that it shared a wall with other campers. (Think townhouse trailer.) This wasn't such a big deal but it's worth noting that whenever the people next door moved around it did somewhat shake our side of the trailer. However, we had a pretty clean (there was a bit of dust around the edges and the shower could have used a little more thorough scrubbing) little utilitarian lodging with a private bathroom which included a shower. We were satisfied and had everything we needed to stay safe, warm, and dry at night. The staff at the entry booth were helpful, friendly, and informative. There is a well stocked little store on the grounds as well as a decent restaurant. Bottom line is I'd recommend Camping Fusina to anyone traveling to Venice on a budget who isn't looking for luxury but just a clean space to use as a headquarters and to sleep at night. I will note that upon checking in, they ask for a piece of I.D. to keep as collateral in exchange for your key to your trailer. This was alright except that we had to check out at 3:30 a.m. to catch a red eye flight. The security guard in the booth was fast asleep at 3:30 and it took ten minutes to wake him by knocking lots.

Great place to stay for a family of 5!

The place is beautiful and clean, with lots of amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a very convenient location to get to Venice in no time. We would come back there next trip. Beautiful view of Venice from the coast. The only hiccup was that even though we notify the office twice, there was nobody to check out and let us go out at the gate at 4 AM, and it was a bit stressful since we needed to catch a plane.

Was my favorite place I stayed at during my month long travels around Italy! The cottage we stayed at was super affordable and comfortable and clean. The camping resort had a wonderful restaurant and grocery store so we didnt have to worry about food. The best part was the ferry to take you to Venice is just down the road and only takes 15 mins to get to the city! I loved the pool the most at the resort!

The property is clean and well looked after. Cabins are comfortable and cute. My only complaint is that rooms don't have a kettle. I got the cheap cabin yes but every hotel room ever usually has a kettle to make a cup of coffee/tea without having to buy it from the hotel bar.

We were very glad we chose Camping Fusina. It had everything we needed and was a two minute walk to the ferry over to Venice. It was perfect for going to check out the busy streets and canals of old Venice and come back for a quiet rest.
Our only complaint was the last ferry back left at 830 and we would have liked to see Venice at night at least once.

Enjoy Venice by the Pool.

On arrived, we were greeted by Roberta, she was very helpful and knowledgeable of the campsite and directed us clearly to our unit. Roberta was helpful with how to get to Venice central from the park via the ferry boat service, and what tickets to purchase.
The park is very good, and easy to get around. our Unit was Ti25. For 3 person, but only need for 2. It was ok. It could have had a small table and chairs outside, along with a small fridge inside, to keep drinks cold, while out.
The ferry boat service from the park gate is less then 5 minutes walk. It is very good.
Overall this place is good for those family trips to Venice, with the luxury of being out of Venice and enjoying the park and the swimming pool or just for resting.
We purchased a 3 day pass for Venice, and was at Venice in the mornings, then back around 1pm, then head back late afternoon for dinner.

I think if you wish to take in Venice and cool by a pool.. this is the place to stay. Just make sure you take the correct accommodation for your needs.

Very pleasant receptionists but they forgot to let us know in advance that the boat service to Venice was reduced when we called, essential information for our trip. Also there were no towels in the mobile home and after having called reception and being promised they will be sent to us promptly, they in fact were never delivered.
The bathroom was clean and the bed linen crisp, but the main room floor hadn't been moped.

It was easy enough to find and the location was good. It didn't advertise been next to a power station, where we stayed was right buy it - quite industrial, not what we expected. We booked a designer bungalow - I paid a bit more thinking it would be more comfortable, when we got there they called it a villa, I don't know how to describe it really, it was very old, we had ants in the kitchen and outside, although it looked clean at first glance and the beds had clean sheets etc, there where cobwebs and most areas that hadn't been cleaned for a while. We where only staying two nights so decided just to put up with it rather than complain. The staff where very helpful at check in and throughout our stay, we liked the restaurant and on site pub, we didn't use the pool my son wouldn't wear a pool swimming cap that was mandatory - again I didn't know this before booking.

Fab location with great view of Venice 😀

Lovely camp site. Stayed in basic accommodation which had an amazing location on the site but definitely needs updating. Beds super comfy but air con was leaky and flooded the floor as did the shower. restaraunt a little pricey for what you were served but plenty of food in shop. Would go again but definitely upgrade to have a kitchen and outside seating area. Also free pool would have been nice.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The boat is only about 20 minutes over to the island of Venice. Good amenities at the camp site but the only problems we had was the lats on one of the single beds kept falling out from under the mattress and which was quite annoying and the shower was impossible to regulate it was either freezing or scalding hot. Now I have to say we never mentioned either to staff and I'm sure if we had done they would have done something for us. They were amazing, very friendly, helpful and nothing seemed a problem so I'm sure they would have helped us

This was the perfect place to stay on a student budget. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room and campground were both very clean. The whole site is a kind of campus and that was really cool. It had a couple restaurants on site, a small store, and a place for laundry. And getting to Venice was really easy. They sold tickets at the reception for a ferry that takes you to the city and back. Overall a lovely place. I would stay here again, even if I wasn't on a budget!

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you want the internet you have to purchase it and it can only be used at the bar where the connection is the best. The cabin we stayed in was small but in Italy everything is small. It can get noisy at night as you are right by the water. And a lot of cargo ships go right by iduring the night and day. But it is just a short walk to the water taxi that takes you to Venice. There is also a bar that has a pizzeria and gelato, they have a small restaurant and a souvenir/ grocery store. They also have an airport shuttle for a small fee.

Clean and convenient location.

On arrival they couldn't find our reservation and were reluctant to give me access to Internet to look it up. Finally they gave me a one hour Internet card and I was able to show them my reservation. Seemed odd that they explicitly said they would not charge me the 1 Euro for the internet access. Other than that stay was pleasant.

Fine for a budget place to stay

If you are looking for a cheap-ish place to stay, it is not bad, but don't expect too much. The walls of the trailer homes are paper thin, and you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbours say and do. The whole thing shakes when they move around. The aircon, if it did work, leaked all over the place, and don't expect blankets or towels, although there were sheets and pillows in the room. It is convenient to have the bar and restaurant on site, so you don't have to go hunting for food. The wifi is only available in the main complex and you have to pay for it. The ferry to Venice is right by the campgrounds so that is convenient, although it only runs every hour.

Misleading description

The place was fine and the staff was friendly, but at best this was \"glamping\" which is it what the description leads one to believe. The room was really tiny, beds not very comfortable and in the morning when we asked for towels, none were available and wouldn't be for 2 hrs. Had I been prepared for more glamping-like facilities, my review would probably have been better.

The place is a good place to stay if your looking for inexpensive. The location to Venice and surrounding areas is ok. You would have to take the water taxi to Venice from here which is a short walk to. There is also a bus that comes there to take you to the train station. The staff were good except one lady who was pretty rude when we checked in and when we checked out. Not happy with her, but the other staff were very helpful. The room we got was very basic, but we were only sleeping there. The facilities were very convenient.

A few mild complications arose (large tree providing great privacy to our mobile home made a hideous noise in the wind - all night; room booked online was different there) and staff were able to rectify each issue very well. They were on the ball. 5 stars to the staff. Area is nice, ferry to Venice very convenient but everything in the whole region costs a lot.

Over all our stay wasn't terrible considering the price but I certainly would not class this as the 3 star accommodation they claim. Firstly the room was mediocre at best. Be warned there will be no type of hand towels, shower matts or anything besides the bedding supplied which was a pain when after having a shower the whole floor would be wet for the rest of your trip unless you use your personal towels to mop it up. The toilet seat also broke off completely which left us using the public toilets defeating the purpose of paying to have our own, they did however give us 10% off our stay for this. The walls are paper thin and the whole to room shakes when people simply walk in the cabin next to you. It literally felt like an earthquake every time they'd use the toilet, and yes you could hear EVERYTHING. Not to mention on our second day I had come down with the flu so me and my partner decided to pay the €5 24hr pass to use the WiFi. Little did we know that not only did we not even get wifi reception in our room but the only place I could use it was outside in the cold (not ideal while your sick) but we had things to book and plan so we stuck it out. Then we discovered you could only use ONE device on the wifi. Which also wasn't disclosed to us at time of purchase. Then to top it all off the WiFi would hardly work for 5 minutes without stopping completely for another 5 minutes and so on. So don't even waste your time. The camp ground is pretty however and the pizza is good.

Campground. Great staff. Terrible wifi.

This is a campground. The facilities are nice and the staff is friendly. We bought two different wifi passes and didn't have luck with either, which was disappointing. This place is also featured on HostelWorld, so there is a lot of young travelers, which is great for some. Loud pop music was playing in the restaurant bar pretty late, but we couldn't hear it from our \"bungalow\", so it didn't bother us at all.
Getting to Venice was very easy from the campground. The boat was something like 28 euros for a 3-day unlimited pass that ran every hour from 7:30 AM - 10:30 PM. Takes about 25 minutes. If you book, make sure you let them know 24 hours in advance to get a free ride from the rail station. Otherwise the city bus is available.
The rooms could be cleaner and the bathrooms could definitely use a tune up. The camp public bathrooms and shower stalls were clean and preferable to those in our bungalow. The walls are paper-thin and we could literally hear every move and every word the couple in the other room made and every word they said. When they closed a door our half of the bungalow shook.
Overall, its camping. Don't expect hotel-like circumstances and don't expect wifi.

Isolated location but satisfactory

There was a very rude young girl who worked at reception. We didn't have any hot water the whole time despite booking a bungalow with a private bathroom. Restaurant and bar was reasonably priced but overall it was a very isolated location. The line of about 40-50 people at checkout time was ridiculous.

Great location - 25 min away from San Marco, restaurants, bar, minimarket inside. The panorama was amazing. Quite place, perfect if you want to be close to San Marco but to avoid the crowds . Vaporetto and bus station 2 min away

Venice on a budget

Camping Fusina is perfect if you want to visit Venice on a budget. There's a convenient ferry to Zaterre every hour and also one to Alberoni. There's a choice of accommodation type and the facilities are clean with a bar and restaurant on site too.

Literally just a place to sleep a few hours

Great as a base for visiting Venice. That's it really. Mosquitos are the worst ever. Rooms without AC are horrible in the summer. But I'm guessing it's a great price for Venice anyway.

Es un lugar práctico si se anda en carro.
Sin carro resulta muy costo los traslados al aeropuerto, Venecia, y el personal no es tan amigable para aclarar dudas.
No provee paños ( para que lo tengan en consideración) y si desean utilizar la piscina hay que llevar gorro de natación.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter Venise.A quelques minutes à pied de l'embarcadère de Fusina.
Pass 3 jours Fusina Zaterre ou Alberoni 32€ pr les adultes et 16€ pour les enfants. Les mobil home sont climatisées.

En del larm, nogle går i seng kl. 3 og andre står op kl. 6. De små mobilehomes sidder sammen 2 og 2 så man kan høre alt gennem væggene og mærke når de andre går rundt. Ligger på en travl industri havn med meget larm herfra ogdå.
