The decor is a bit garish but it’s a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and a good shower. Cons: no iron, air con doesn’t appear to be able to be lowered, which matters because it’s Venice there’s mosquitoes in your room so you need to stay under the duvet. Tip: get the breakfast, it’s the best I’ve ever encountered at a hotel.

Staff and service were both great. Room was ok and kind of dated for the price, but the view was nice. A great spot if you have one night in Venice and need to park in a parking garage. Only a 5 min walk from many garages and the bus station.

Hotel Papadopoli a Gem on the Canal

We had an amazing time in Venize and this hotlel was a gem right as you cross onto the main city island of Venice. Just across from the train station with quick access tot he water taxi system and travel around the Canal. The room was beutiful, the staff was excellent. We upgraded to a private balcony where we could enjoy our coffee in the morning, watching People as they explored the canal. We would definetly stay again.

Everything was smooth and great!

We arrived to Venice a little later, but the hotel was so informative on parking, getting to and from and checkin was smooth! I called before to confirm all the stuff and that made so easy when they told me where to park.
I think the location worked great for us as we had 3 older people, so being able to walk to hotel was great!
We enjoyed a resturant the front desk recommended and it was perfect! The next day we spent all day exploring Venice and eating/shopping! They held our luggage all day. The rooms were beautiful, bathrooms spacious, hot showers, and we enjoyed drinks at the bar with great service.

This hotel is all about Venetian glam and luxe. It’s very convenient for the railway station, vaperetto on the grand canal and one of the main walkable routes to St Marco and the Rialto. Perfect location for getting around! The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the hotel has got a great Christmas vibe with some of the best decorations!

We had a water leak in our room and the staff quickly jumped in. They found us another room (upgraded) quickly and made our experience awesome. Hotel is close to taxi drop off so not far to get bags in. Just a quick walk around the area, so many restaurants to choose from. I would recommend.

We booked a two-night stay at this hotel in Venice. The location of the hotel was great for getting around Venice by foot.

Our room decor was dated. There was dark taupe to brown carpet on the floor, which I didn’t care for sanitary purposes. All the hotels I stayed in during my trip in Italy ( Rome and Florence) had manufactured wood floors.

If we ever come back to Venice we would consider staying here again. Location was great in the sense that you didn't have to walj far with luggage. The hotel itself felt luxurious and the staff from front desk to housekeepers we friendly and easy to communicate with. The only thing we didn't like was the bed was a little too soft for our liking.

Six of us stayed three nights. The wait staff in the bar were awful. Three evenings in a row we asked for normal cocktails like a martini etc. Two different waiters told us they do not make such drinks and only the few drinks on the written menu were available. Out of frustration we went directly to the bar to ask the bartender. He said of course he can make and drink we want. The waiters got upset and the next night threw menus on our table. Also served about two onces of prosecco in glass. We asked why such a rediculous small amount. Waiter just walked away. Hotel is beautiful and other staff at reservation desk and housekeeping were great. The buffet breakfast was nothing special. Food was cold and mostly bland. Ordered omelette. It was way over cooked and terrible. We decided to eat at restaurants outside hotel. No one seemed to be in charge at hotel. Ashame because beautiful hotel, good location and majority of staff were quite good.

Hotel and room were fantastic. Location was honestly perfect - far enough away from the hustle and bustle that it felt peaceful but also everything you could possibly need in walking distance. Staff were wonderful especially those doing breakfast (which was also great). Couldn’t fault this place at all, we will definitely return when we visit Venice again.

Less than 10 min walking from the train station, on a side canal, busy but relatively quiet area.
We enjoyed staying there 3 nights in July.
Tastily decorated hotel interior – hallways, bar, breakfast room, and terrace.
Our Deluxe double room with canal view & balcony was roomy enough, the bed and bathroom excellent and it had a very efficient and quiet AC system.
Very good breakfast, with lots of tasty fresh products.
We were treated professionally, with care and friendly similes – thanks for your service.

It didn’t matter when we would come and go, they were all the same. And they were not helpful as there was a train strike and we had to make alternate travel plans. This hotel is a gem. It's within walking distance to the train station and taxi stands, so it's possible to carry your own luggage without paying for a porter. We were a family of 4 so we got adjoining rooms which was very convenient.

Rooms-Very spacious with comfortable beds and pillows, nicely decorated and all the modern conveniences. The bathroom was also spacious for a Venetian hotel. More importantly it was very clean. We had a late flight out of Venice and they kept our bags for us after checkout without any issues.

Dining-We had breakfast every morning which was 26 euro for a full breakfast and 15 euro for continental. The full breakfast was worth it. We we went out to restaurants for all other meals.

Location- as mentioned the hotel is located on a canal and close to the train station so there is quite a walk to the grand canal and St. Marks square, however, the walk is very scenic and a wide variety of shops, restaurants and gelato locations. We found out about the boat ferry service on the last day which could be an option to quickly get to the \"center\" of Venice if needed as the boat pier is very near to the hotel.

Staff- very accommodating and professional. One of our family members had an accident and fell on the floor and the staff handled it well and offered medical assistance. The restaurant and bar staff were also very efficient and always there to lend a hand.

The next time we return to Venice we will be staying here.

I’ve stayed in this hotel before so I knew what to expect. I like the location close to the train station and for transfers to/from the airport. The rooms are a generous size, especially for Venice. I opted to have breakfast in the hotel and was not disappointed. Great selection of fresh food served in a beautiful restaurant with lots of helpful staff.
