The room was modern and also very quiet. It was close to the front area of Venice. The cab dropped us off right in front and the day we left we walked to the bus station. 10 minute walk. Water coolers by the elevators to fill your bottles. 100% best hotel in Venice

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Venice on vacation. It was a little further from a lot of the touristy hot spots but the walk is manageable and you were out of the hustle and bustle. There were many other options of transportation if walking is not preferred. The hotel was nice and quiet and the staff were all very nice and helpful. Super close to the train station so that is a big benefit. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall outstanding AC property, conveniently close to the Santa Lucia train station. Well designed, good size rooms, great shower, wonderful staff (especially Cosimo) and excellent $20 Euro buffet. For those not wanted to take a water taxi, if you have heavy luggage, it’s definitely a work out getting up the steps to cross the bridge. I would not recommend this for those not physically fit. About 10mins walk or so with heavy luggage. Otherwise, the street of Venice are right there to explore.

Property is very clean but rooms are too small. There is no space to open bags even. There was no AC so nights were very hot even after shutting down heat. Staff asked us to open windows. The windows does open on the street so anybody can come in. When I say open, it’s really open without any further barrier so it was not safe at night to keep it open. The breakfast buffet was good is the only positive point. Also, it is close to train station. In general, I would not recommend this hotel for this price. Not for families.

The customer service representative was by far the nicest we had met in Italy. He was very accommodating. Just the simple pleasure of having conditioner in the shower was amazing. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing and completely worth it. Everything was within walking distance, a quick walk across the bridge and we had the most delicious gelato. This hotel couldn’t be more perfect. It may look a bit plain and rough from the outside, but you can’t judge a book by its cover. You can not beat the service offered here by hotel rep and restaurant staff. The best. I would definitely stay here again. And recommend it to any friend or family.

The hotel is in a good location and it is a nice property, but there isn't a view. Our room is looking straight into another building with renovation scaffolding. But it is conveniently close to the public water transportation. I chose it for our last night in Venice because it is close to the port where our Windstar cruise disembarked, and we can take a land taxi to the airport. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is good, but there are no frills to the rooms. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Having transitioned from a great Hyatt boutique-hotel in Milan that provided a wonderful breakfast—all at a much more reasonable rate, in comparison, the AC Hotel Venice came off feeling bland and mediocre at best and, given its exorbitant price, presented more like a B&B than anything closely resembling a Marriott-branded hotel with its characteristic ‘wow factor’. Our room was devoid of any character while the hotel’s extra-cost breakfast was average and hosted in a cramped area near the lobby’s bar. While there was no question that the front-office staff were very helpful during our stay, the rest of the experience was just okay.

Perfect location for our stay in Venice
We had a 2 night stay following a cruise that ended in Trieste port. We could have taken a bus or train to Venice, and the AC was only steps away from either station. It's location is also steps away from the people mover, taxis and buses to the airport, and steps away from the P. Roma water bus stop which we used extensively to get around town. The hotel staff is a genuine asset; friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast buffet is extensive and definitely worth adding on. As first time visitors to the city, we appreciated the convenience of the location, as well as the terrific hospitality and modern comforts of the hotel.

We have chosen this property due to its proximity to a parking garage, which makes for a 2min walk, once you arrive to Venice & park your vehicle. Very convenient. However, that’s where the convenience finishes. The standard room is incredibly small with a bathroom where both of you will struggle to fit in at the same time. The room was very dusty & the shower was definitely not clean. I guess it was disappointing as it was attached to the Marriott brand after all.

I chose the property because it was close to the train station. I only stayed here my final night in Venice because the nightly cost for the hotel was far above better properties.
What I really was unhappy about was 80 euros per person for a breakfast the same as the other hotels I stayed at which was included (plus their nightly rate was less). This was ridiculous!

We arrived by train and left by plane. We walked straight to the hotel with ease so no hassle of having to walk through the canals and the crowd.
The hotel is located next to the bus terminal, which we took the Airport shuttle to the airport for 8 Euros each. Getting in and out was such a breeze!

Great nice new hotel. The location is great if you require the People mover and taking a cruise. The bus from the airport leaves you directly across the street from the property. Great staff. The room was very small and the price of over $300.00 USD is crazy. Did not have the expensive breakfast, but it did look like a very nice breakfast. The only reason we stayed there was because of the location as outlined above. Again nice new hotel with nice staff.
