What an amazing find this hotel is and for the price! Don’t think twice about booking it! It was amazing. The room we had was on the ground floor very spacious with a big television and a huge hot tub. The room was spotlessly clean and smelled super fresh. You could literally eat off of the floor it was so clean. The location is amazing, minutes to all the main attractions, lots of great places to eat around. And I just can’t say enough about the breakfast, made to order eggs and pancakes and waffles, an espresso machine that makes the best capuchino ever. There are a great variety of choices from fresh scrumptious pastries to freshly squeezed juices, yogurts of all flavors, fresh fruit. What was most special was the care of the staff, they were all so nice and caring, the young man at the front desk even carried our bags to our room. Just amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. You will not be disappointed!

The property immerses you in Venetian culture as soon as you walk in. We loved the short walk with our suitcases from the train station. It’s close enough to Pizzale Roma that you can take the vaporetto anywhere but far enough from the bustle that is it quiet and private. The staff are so kind and welcoming, the breakfast delicious, and the rooms comfy, cozy, and beautiful.

We loved this hotel, we chose it due to its close proximity to the train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing free breakfast that they offer. The staff was so sweet and friendly. They don’t have an elevator so that’s a challenge, but they will help you with your luggage and we asked for a porter to help us with our luggage to the train station on the day we left and that was so helpful. Local restaurants are amazing too.

Breakfast was outstanding! Amazing selection with service for coffee and eggs. Within walking distance to the train station and bus station. Don't be fooled and take a taxi unless you really feel you need to because it much faster and closer to walk. You have to walk in most of Venice, and cars can't drive by the hotel, so you're better off walking. Friendly and helpful staff. They do have quite a few steps to get up to the hotel but they are quick to help you with luggage if you ask. The room and bathroom were both well equipped and a good size. The room had AC or you could open the window. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Comfortable en suite room with everything we needed (although English Breakfast teabags and milk available only at breakfast - not supplied in the room). Used the Aircon, as September was warm.
The building is old and characterful - to be expected in Venice - so the steep staircase to reach the accommodation is not surprising.
Excellent breakfast including juices, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, pastries, cheese, cold meats, bread, rolls and hard boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs and a couple of other options available on request. Coffee and tea. The member of staff on duty worked hard to deliver hot drinks and replenish food.
Special thanks to Antonio on reception who volunteered to carry our suitcases both on arrival and departure, and was very friendly and helpful in general.
The most expensive accommodation on our trip in northern Italy - but that's the 'Venice factor'.
We towed our suitcases from the station to the hotel, which wasn't too arduous apart from carrying them over the bridge over the Grand Canal near the station. (The alternative is to hire a porter with a cart to transport your bags - don't know how much this costs)

This was a small bed & breakfast with 8 different types of rooms but up on the 2nd or 3rd floors to get to it. At least 2 flights up to the top main floor. Had a nice breakfast and many coffee & liquor options. Quite. Not far from the bus or train stations.

On the website it says that they provide airport transportation and they do not. That is the main reason I chose this hotel. Also the hotel itself has only 2 stories but you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to it. We had a person in our group with mobility issues and it was challenging.

What a fantastic room! The gentleman that greeted us upon check in was so nice and very helpful. As we checked out, they let us store our bags while we toured Venice before moving onto our next location. We were glad we could put our needed items in a back pack because taking luggage thru Venice and up the hotel steps would have been difficult.

What a wonderful stay we had at Palazzo Odoni. A small, quiet property, in a great location, close to the central bus station and transport hub - Piazzale Roma. It was amazing to stay in a place from the 15th-century! Though the structure is old, the rooms have been updated (with air conditioning) and the bathrooms are huge. It is in a great location to walk everywhere in the city, including a 15 minute walk to the train station. The breakfast provided has an huge variety of things to chose from and is delicious. Your coffee is made to order with a beautiful, elaborate espresso machine. The staff is helpful and kind. There are quite a few restaurants nearby and the street is quiet at night. We’d be happy to stay there again on our next visit to Venice.

What seems like an innocuous door opens up into a beautiful courtyard, with stone steps leading up to the hotel main entrance. Rooms are located within an old building, decorated in keeping the era. Rooms are comfortable, spacious & clean. Staff are very helpful, check in/out was efficient. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful with a very efficient host. Location within 10 minutes walk of the train/bus station.

Pros: Access was pretty easy, overall stay was pleasant, property was clean and well maintained, breakfast was good.

Cons: No lift in this property, with heavy luggage it's a quite a few steps to climb even though the property manager helped us, no microwave oven so it wasn't not be possible to heat up dinner.

Wonderful Hotel with a minor problem for Old Folks

The hotel was conveniently located near the Saint Lucia train station. We took the train to and from our cruise ship to get to Venice. It was a wonderful quaint hotel beautifully decorated. Breakfast was awesome. The staff was awesome. The only minor problem with the hotel was it took five flights of stairs to get to our room, the staff helped us with our luggage. We had to walk five flights and we’re not spring chickens anymore. If I was younger, I would stay there again but as I’m heading for my 70s I don’t think I could do it again.

Pros: The rooms were clean, the staff was nice enough, the breakfast was good.

Cons: There was a ridiculous amount of stairs which we had no idea about. On the way back down, we would run into people struggling their way upstairs. Also the rooms were very lackluster and nothing like the pictures online. Felt a little duped by this.

We enjoyed our stay here in Venice for one night. We liked the location of this apartment--it was not in the chaos of Venice but off the beaten path--was also convenient to train in the morning. The breakfast was excellent--the front desk staff awesome. (I believe it was Antonio, but I'm second guessing myself). One little mishap in the middle of the night that wasn't so pleasant but whatever...I got over it.

Staff was wonderful!! They were very accommodating. We needed a water taxi for our departure date and they arranged everything instead of us spending time doing it. We had to leave early before breakfast so they packed us a Togo bag. Breakfast is way above expectations. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside was up stairs which is all Venice and they are more than happy to carry bags for you. Love our stay there!!!!!!

Palazzo Odoni was an ideal location for our 2 weeks stay in Venezia. Stairs were NO problem at all for us. Room was large, bright, and quaintly Venetian- so lovely to hear the church bells every morning starting at 8 AM. Team of lovely staff, esp. Carmella - sweet, gentle lady in charge of breakfast. Freshly baked bread every morning - the aroma wafting through the palazzo. Eggs and other main items made to order. Individual plates of assorted meats; assorted cheeses, assorted fruits; cherry tomatoes with mozzarella cheese with fresh basil - tomatoes were the sweetest we’ve ever eaten anywhere. Cappuccino, cafe Americano, latte, hot chocolate, espresso all made to order and really delich. Breakfast room very pretty but small so you must choose a time on check-in to avoid overcrowding and that system works very well as long as you are not late or too early. We had no problems with this at all. Other staff were equally helpful, friendly, and very professional- Antonio, Justin, Errol, and Alberto. We did not use the water taxis at all - leisurely walking and finding our way down small alley ways which all of a sudden pop open into large centers with restaurants, shops, pharm, groceries (Coop, Conad, Despero) - groceries interesting to explore and buy your fruits and whatever else to store in room mini-fridge Pastry shops galore. We discovered one with exceptional freshly baked assorted pastries that the locals frequent. Cicchetti is a must - find local one away from tourists.

First trip to Venice

This was my wife and I first visit to Venice and we decided to stay at Palazzo Odoni based on previous reviews and we were not disappointed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff provided excellent customer service and morning breakfast was delicious. There was that daily climb to go in and out of the room but the authenticity and location was worth it. Property was as advertised and very comfortable. The 77 stairs was a chore, but manageable; manager carried our luggage up and down the stairs. Breakfast was very good.

Very nice and friendly hotel. Its located at the start of venice but there are a lot pf good dinning options, and shopping. The Rialto Bridge is a 15 min walk. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is excellent.

It was an easy walk from the train station so we could check in and then go back to the station and get the vaporetto. There were several small restaurants in the immediate area we ate at Ribot and it was excellent. Palazzo Odoni offered a great breakfast, the facility and the owner are top notch. Nice boutique hotel would stay there again.

Palazzo Odoni is a quaint hotel in an older building. The rooms are lovely and well maintained. The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk of the parking garages at Piazzale Roma. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
The only negative thing was checking-in. The door was locked when we arrived with no clear instructions as to how to enter. Once inside the outer door, there is a door and a flight of stairs in front of you with no signs telling you where to go. I chose the door and found an employee who told me that reception was upstairs. We then had to carry our suitcases up 5 flights of stairs (66 steps) to our room.
Having said that, the room and service we received was worth it.

A very convenient cute small family hotel

We stayed in a family suite with two rooms in the first floor. The room was slightly colder than we liked due to no heating yet in the month of November. However, the stay was great, and we all liked this small hotel, and particularly the breakfast was the best. In addition, it's location is also very convenient and less than 10 minutes of walking to or from the bus station.
