This doesn’t look or feel like a 4 star hotel. It was OK for the price we paid, breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, wifi worked well, service was excellent.
It’s in a quiet part of Venice, great for a good night’s sleep, but you’ll have to walk a while to get to the tourist hot spots, or take the vaporetto, which is part of the experience but may bother you if you’re in a hurry. Some good restaurant options nearby though.
Our room was very warm, and we couldn’t get the temperature down; for some reason the bathroom’s heated floor was always on.
Facilities were a bit dated; everything worked but it wasn’t up to 4-star standards.
Overall still a good choice, just don’t think you’re getting a luxury experience.

The hotel manager was so helpful!! He recommended a great walk down through the historical area of nice and up the steps to see the best view of the city — even gave us a map of the route. We loved this and it was a great way to spend the little time we had in nice. The property was nice, and the location was super convenient. No parking onsite and you do have to pay for parking in addition to the hotel. The shower didn’t really work in our room. Other than that everything was incredible — macaroons left in the room for us were a nice touch.

Good general location, close to the Venezia Sta Lucia train station. Close to lively night life but just tucked away enough that the street is quiet. Close to a water bus station for travel within the city. Good internet access and accommodations comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was a nice surprise. The only recommendation I have would be that the shower be cleaned better and maybe update to include the ability to use streaming services like Netflix, etc.Otherwise, I would stay here again.

Wonderful one night stay! We loved the area, there were many bars, cafes and restaurants nearby and it was outside of the most touristy areas. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, the room was clean, and the hotel was quiet. The staff was very nice.

Stayed here two nights in July. From the airport we took a bus to Piazzale Roma and from there it was a short walk to the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The area is wonderfully walkable and charming. It is easily walkable to main tourist sites such as the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square. We enjoyed coming back to the hotel area after visiting these sites as it was not as crowded as the main tourist areas. Breakfast was good. The hotel is also a short walk to the train station. I would definitely stay here again.

It was perfect for a mom traveling alone with 3 young daughters. It was a close walk from the train, had a very close vaperetto stop, but was quiet and safe and calm, not near any crowds. The staff were so kind and accommodating.

Great spot! Out of the touristy area and feels like it is in a more local area. The interior design is very colorful and beautiful. There was a great breakfast spread each morning and a lovely outdoor area if you wanted a quiet place to sit. Room and bathroom were very nice, but the pull out bed wasn’t very comfortable and the room didn’t go below 20C, so we had to open the windows and then were bit by bugs at night.

Super friendly staff, a very good breakfast, and good location near a vaparetto stop. Rooms small and clean - rest as per puctures. Bathrooms are very very small. The shower was tiny, too small to move in and we were in a superior room. Not sure if all rooms are the same.

We had a very short stay while in Venice but this place was perfect for that! It’s a 7 minute walk from the train station and about a 12 minute walk to the bus station. Everything was within walkable distance including the fat thugs such as Dodge’s place (about a 22min) walk but it definitely didn’t feel that far due to there being so many little shops to check out on your way. Older hotel but was great staying in something that had character! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a well priced good hotel

A wonderful retreat in the middle of Venice. Only 3 minute walk from the Grand Canal and close to public transportation. The Jr. Suite was beautiful with 3 windows for the breeze. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice little hotel in the quieter part of Venice. The property is small, but if your priority is a room to spend the night(s) in, you will be satisfied. The front desk employee walked us to our room and informed us of all the amenities as well as things to be mindful of, which was very considerate and informative. Breakfast was excellent and enjoyable. The only criticism is the layout of the shower, which is quite small and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, and the area is quiet. Would stay here again.

The staff were amazing, giving us directions, suggesting restaurants and booking transportation. The room was spacious and eclectic with a breathtaking view. The area was walkable to the major sites but quiet so you didn’t feel like you were in a tourist area. The AC had to work hard to cool the room in this crazy hot weather but that was the only hiccup. We were completely satisfied with our stay. Great staff!

It was better than I expected. The front desk staff was amiable and helpful. Initially, I doubted the outside, but I quickly realized that it was the architectural structure of Venice. I will stay at this hotel whenever I am back in Venice. The AC was very cold, and there were no mosquitoes, as reported with other hotels. It is very near a water taxi.

A Respite from San Marco!

This was a lovely place to stay in the residential part of Venice. Away from the crowds of tourists, you will find numerous small, excellent restaurants and hear mainly Italian spoken. A beautiful, quiet spot. Rooms are furnished the same as in photos. Our only complaint is insufficient air conditioning which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, but this is apparently the way of Italian hotels. I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Venice. Close to Vaporetti and Water Taxi.

oh, don’t let the secret out or the place will be ruined!

If you’re looking for a little out-of-the-way place, that’s in a great location in a neighborhood were the very few true Venetian Italians still live, this is it. Quiet hotel in a quiet street. Beautifully decorated and well appointed. Everything you need.

Loud Americans looking for Burger King and Disneyland or Brits looking for G&T and a chip shop to shake off that Ibiza bender, please stay away. All other lovers, travelers, and lovers of travel should come!

We booked the Jr Suite for a party of four and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space, especially for Venice. Beds were comfortable, location was excellent (quiet neighborhood but a short walk to numerous restaurants). Water taxi/bus station was a short 3 minute walk with only one turn. The location of the hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood, which has its positives but also a bit far from the main area of Venice. The staff of the hotel were very helpful, especially when my arrival was delayed and they gave me clear directions on how to reach at night. I booked a single room but didn't expect it to be so small - just broad enough for a single bed and with a small toilet. Breakfast was excellemt

We loved our stay here. Breakfast was good and location was only a short walk from the train station and to the bus stop with our luggage. The bed was huge and very comfortable! This was nice after a long day of weakling. We loved that our windows actually worked and opened all the way especially in the morning to feel the breeze. Only negatives were the A/C barely worked so the room was warm, bathroom was tiny with no vanity space, and the shower leaked.

This property was close to the train station and water taxi station yet was tucked back off the canal in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to walk to uncrowded restaurants making you feel like a local. We had the junior suite and it was the most spacious room we’ve had in Europe. Fun, funky colors and a helpful staff. The bed was a little firm for my liking but after a day of walking around offered a good rest once we got used to it.

We really enjoyed the quirkiness of this hotel. The combination of modern and traditional decor was very interesting. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. I am gluten and dairy free and found many alternatives to accommodate my diet. The hotel also served the most delicious coffee I have ever had. The bathrooms need some improvement. The stand up shower with rainfall head could benefit from a glass enclosure. The shower curtain lets water leak all over the floor causing a fall hazard. The water damage must have gotten so bad at one point that the wood floors outside the bathroom are coming up. Despite this issue I really did like the hotel and its surroundings. I would stay there again.

Our initial room had a water drip from the ceiling. It was on the top floor, and the explanation was that it was due to the a/c unit on the roof. We were immediately given a different room which happened to be on the first floor, and it was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel was quaint and friendly and had a good breakfast. Lovely boutique hotel just steps from the Grand Canal and the vaporetto. Quiet, but convenient location approx 10 mins walk from bus and rail links to airport and mainland. About 15 mins walk from Rialto.
Room was perfectly clean and breakfast excellent choice and well serviced. Don't be put off if you are allocated a room near the breakfast area, there is no noise. Only gripe would be no kettle in the room.
