This hotel was very difficult to find. It is not well marked. We walked a long distance and had trouble finding it at night. It is not centrally located nor near the tourist area. A map was sent, but not early enough for us to see it prior to arrival.The host was charming and helpful, the room was adequate. It was clean and cool.

Church bells are loud in the morning and go on a long time. Breakfast wasn’t the most nutritious, no fruit, just packaged items. Coffee was not good. Bed uncomfortable and shower was awful no drainage. Room was quite big, clean and hotel is near everything. Very close to train, ideal location

I really wanted to like this property. It's a 20 minute walk from the train station, (repack your bags so that you're only carrying as much as you'll need in Venice).
I paid for left luggage at a hotel near the train station, for two quite small bags, so that I only used a small backpack for my two night stay. It's murder trying to lug suitcases up and down the many, many canal bridge stairs.
The room was fine.

Here's the problem.... the bathroom has no towel bars. None. So taking a shower at night means that the towels will be wet in the morning. The only place to hang towels is over the shower doors. The shower is good, btw.

And, there is no shelf in the shower which makes it impossible to hold shampoo, or soap and use the shower. It's necessary to have even a tiny shelf to set down the shampoo.

The room air conditioning is good, but I needed to turn it off each night at about 3am. I got no sleep with it on, even with earplugs.

Breakfast begins at 8:30 which, in summer, means it's already hot outside. Had I known about the 8:30 start, I would have booked elsewhere.

However, on the day I left, the manager was kind enough to let me start breakfast about 15 minutes early so that I could eat something before an 8 hour train ride.

All in all... I won't stay again. I really like the staff and the location. But the lack of towel bars, no shelf in the shower, the somewhat loud a/c, and the late breakfast are a no, for me. I wish I could give it 5 stars.

This was the perfect location; out of busy Venice and off in a quiet street. Everything was just a few minutes walk away & close to the vaporetto (water taxi). The owners were easy to communicate with & quick to respond to messages. The breakfast was simple yet delicious, especially the warm croissants & cappuccinos made fresh! I highly Re recommend Ca’ Turrelli!

The big problem with this bed and \"breakfast\" is the misrepresentation of their breakfast. It is not a buffet, at all. It's just a basic continental breakfast. Nothing wrong with that, if that's what you expect. But if you choose a hotel thinking there's going to be a breakfast buffet and then you don't even get cheese for breakfast, it's upsetting. It's weird to me they would so blatantly misrepresent their breakfast. Ironically, this is a \"Bed and Breakfast\". Everything else, I liked: spacious bedroom and bathroom, decent WiFi, kind staff, great location (if, like me, you prefer not to be in the center of tourist action).

Hotel is well located, three water bus stations are near and walking distance to many tourist attractions. Tha attention was great, a little difficulty in that the lady doesn't speak english or spanish but we could understood each other. Room and bathroom are big. Our bed cushion was kind of old with the feeling of some holes.

Facilitiess as a B&B were good and breakfast was acceptable. The issue was the owner can only speak Russia and Italian and so there was problem in communication and so a mark down in service. Otherwise it was quite good but not as good value for money as the others. Locationwise was good as it was near all facitiies and tourist attractions.

Great people at the BB however. They had a leak on the AC and we had to put towels on the floor and it didn’t cool the room enough but the staff were super nice and great to us. Allowed us to keep ours bags there while we shopped and were able to check in, we arrived really early before check in time. The place is far from the main streets in the area of the main plaza.

Nice stay.

Internet was not working. Also please add some more items to the breakfast, fruits and boiled eggs, and be generous. Overall we loved the place and will surely recommend to others. Our train to Milan was at 6 pm. We were able to leave our bags - they gave us keys to access. That was a lot of help. Room and bathrooms were nice, clean and with the right amenities.

Amazing location. I can't recommend this B&B or staying in Dorsoduro highly enough. Staff is really nice, rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was fair - mostly the same each day, but - again - I highly recommend Ca'Turelli.

Great place!

I loved how clean and spacious the room and bathroom was. It was very hot in Venice and it was heavenly to have a great actually! I traveled with two 18 year olds and they loved how close it was to the vaporetto but far away to get a great night sleep after all day touring. The people there are extremely nice and very helpful. It's a gem in Venice!!! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Warm welcome, comfortable room & good facilities; simple continental breakfast provided - great coffee. Many excellent places for lunch/dinner nearby (all budgets); easy access to all Vaporetto lines. Lovely to be able to hear bells of Salute.

The bed and breakfast is a cheaper option in the expensive, beautiful city of Venice. Located a 15 minute walk from the bus terminal drop off point from Treviso Airport and around 15 minutes to San Marco Square.

The room was clean and a decent size. The bed was a little hard and it’s a shame the host couldn’t have let us have an early breakfast the final morning seeing as we were leaving early and she was up and setting up anyway.

Too expensive comparing to what they offered

We were there for three days during early October. We arrived about 7pm on Friday and the owner was not there. A lady with little English let us in. The room is next to one canal. There were about 7 to 8 Mosquitos flying around when we walked in. We asked her and it took a while for her to understand. She offered something that can be plugged into power socket. But it was broken. During the night we could hear the mosquitos circled around and had to get up a couple of times to try to kill them. It is hard due to high ceiling. In the morning we woke up and smelt the terrible cooking smell. We informed the lady about the mosquito problems and then left. After we came back at 6:30pm, nobody was there and the thing used for mosquitoes had not been changed. Not happy with what happened, I gave sad face when returned the email sent by Expedia. Worried about another bad night of sleep, we sent the message to the owner and explained our concern. Finally we got a good one. We didn’t meet the owner until the night before we left. He actually ask me why sad face. We expected to meet our host when we arrived and be offered some information about the city so we can plan our days; Wifi does not work inside the room as well as mosquito problems. During the conversation, my husband tried to find the kettle. The owner actually told my husband off, said it was private property and he was not supposed to look around! For 125 euro a night, it is very expensive comparing to what they offered.

Lovely, peaceful neighborhood in Venice. The house is set up for a b and b. You are along side a sleepy canal with gondolas, and other boats. The hostess serves freshly baked crossiants every morning besides other eats. Several squares a few steps away and very centrally located. Very friendly owner. Excellent stay.

We received a warm welcome, the building is in a quieter part of Venice which was great to get away from the busy main route. The room was perhaps a little dated but was charming, roomy and sparkling clean. The shower was part of a wet room and therefore also roomy. The b&b is small and very personal. We would definitely go back there.

Quiet back water, with easy access to all Venice.

We had a great stay here. Took a while to find it, but actually very central for what we like to do, art galleries and great neighbourhood of bars and restaurants. It is also prettily sitauted on a canal off the beaten track of tourist hoards, but easy to get to those if required. We are three friends and were happy to share a large room with three beds, but two were made up as a double which wasn't what we requested, though it was evetually sorted by the second night. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable with a large bathroom. I would suggest adding a towel rail of soem sort as towels weren't changed every day, but it was hard to find somewhere to hang them to dry, but we managed. The owner was also very helpful in finding us a way to get to the airport for an early flight when we left.

We took a train to Venice and from the train station took the Vaporetto (boat) to hotel. It was then within walking distance to hotel. Breakfast is simple but nice to have. We didn't have any trouble walking to what we wanted to see.

Location was great. Building is definitely dated and the rooms need some upgrades -- beds are uncomfortable. Also the wifi doesn't work in rooms, only down in the entryway. Breakfast was minimal

This place was ok. Probably overpriced. It's very hard to get to and the woman at the front desk doesn't speak English at all, which is fine. But she makes little effort to communicate across the language barrier. The place is overall fine I suppose, but nothing special. The wifi barely works in the rooms too, so don't rely on it.

Little gem, away from the hustle and bustle.

Me and my fiancé had such a great time there. The location is away from the hoards of tourists, so you can have the freedom of a part of Venice that you can't elsewhere. The rooms and very spacious and the staff are very welcoming. We would definitely come back here again when in Venice.

The location of the hotel is perfect and there is nothing wrong with it. But, it is not a good place for people who like to relax on their holidays. First, the bed in our room was quite uncomfortable. Second, the hotel is very loud starting at fairly early hours. At 8:30 breakfast starts and you can hear everything, then the cleaning staff start screaming to each other which last until around 11:00. Also, breakfast only goes until 9:30 so not a great amenity if you aren't an early riser.

The hotel is located in a convenient spot, close enough to all the major attractions but far enough to provide some peace and quiet from the tourist spots. It appears that the hotel went through renovation with the bathroom which is good. Our room has windows but we only looked out to another building so sunlight was limited. But you're in Venice to enjoy the outside and not sit staring out from inside the room. The only minor complaint is that the bed is very, very hard. We woke up with sore shoulders each day. Also, if you're looking for a sumptious breakfast you won't find it here. It's basic: croissants/jam, yogurt and coffee. Overall, it was a decent experience for what we paid.

Comfortable and quiet!

I travelled with my husband in August 2014 to Venice for 2 nights. Matteo was very helpful and responsive to all our questions. The apartment was actually a few doors down from the inn. It was spacious and clean with a washer and kitchenette. There was no wifi, however Matteo did give us a key to access the inn's lobby and wifi. Breakfast was simple and good (hot pastry, tea/coffee, toast and jam, cereal). The area was safe and a short walk to the square(San Campo Barnaba). Check out the Risoteca restaurant and Grom gelateria!

Nice B&B, Convenient Location - Comfy & Clean

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of July. We emailed in advance to let them know our arrival time and the owner Matteo sent great instructions on how to get to the B&B. We arrived around 9pm to a warm welcome - Matteo wasn't there but the lady who runs it was very accommodating despite the language barrier.

The canal on which the B&B is situated is beautiful and the location is fantastic - just a ten minute walk to the heart of Venice. Located on a quiet street so you can get a good nights sleep and the bed was comfy. Our room was spacious, clean, with a double bed, en suite & AC as described. If, like us, you are on a bit of a budget you can find loads of great eateries in the square just around the corner for very reasonable prices and good quality food - perfect for dinner.

We had to leave early on our last morning and arranged for breakfast to be served earlier than usual, which was very useful and appreciated.

Overall the standard of the B&B is excellent and great value for money - highly recommend.

My Girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before we joined our greek island cruise. The location was perfect with lots of character and good restaurants nearby. Check in and check out very easy. Matteo the owner was very helpful with information and directions. The rooms were spacious. The only things that could be improved was the variety at breakfast and the shower was a little cold and there was not much power.Overall a very nice B and B for the price we paid and we would return.

The Ca' Turelli was a nice place, quiet and clean. The owner went miles out of his way to assist us in getting a water Taxi to the airport. The staff spoke little English but we were able to work around it. The only drawback was they wanted to be paid in cash, and large sums of cash are not very convenient or practical. We had a great time and would go back again.

Chambre spacieuse rien a redire. Lit enfant parfait. Salle de bain fonctionnelle meme si on voit quil y a du passage.
Les radiateurs marche tres tres bien.
Petit déjeuner exceptionnel beaucoup de choix, cafe et chocolat chaud excellent.
La personne du petit déjeuner est tres sympathique et comprend parfaitement le francais en plus.
Lieu idéalement situé pour tout faire à pied sans problème

Colazione abbondante con brioches appena sfornate ogni mattina!

Breakfast is simply pasteries and coffee, no protein or fruits. Unfortunately, I have to say one bad thing and it's that the bed was hard, and you felt the springs in the mattress.

Bel endroit ! Très tranquille et près de l'eau. À une distance de marche d'environ 15 minutes du centre et de la gare.
Check-in un peu complexe puisqu'il n'y a pas de réception, mais après ça va.
Le dejeuner est ok, mais sans plus. C'est des croissants, yogourt, café et gâteaux sucrés emballés. Le déjeuner est servi de 8h30 à 9h30 seulement.
La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres. La douche ne va vraiment pas bien, mais elle fonctionne.
Il n'y a malheureusement pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre.

Piacevole scoperta a Dorsoduro!

Il B&B Ca’ Turelli è un’ottima struttura dove soggiornare a Venezia. Posizione ottima, vicina al Sestiere di San Marco, ma in una zona tranquilla la sera per un riposo perfetto. Personale gentile e disponibile, camere pulite e ben attrezzate e colazione all’italiana buonissima. Allego foto dei croissant della colazione e del canale su cui si affaccia il B&B. Meraviglioso!
