We stayed at the Magnifico for three nights. The hotel is situated in a good central location in Rome. It is a small hotel and was quite adequate for our short stay.
The room was clean and the staff member was helpful and polite and friendly.
There wasn’t a restaurant but there were ample cafes, restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was good.
We enjoyed our visit to Rome and the hotel suited our needs.

Well located pension style hotel. Very close to metro stop and main train station, and many of the major sites to see in Roma!

Small rooms, but comfortable and clean.

Note no full-time check-in staff (although staff are very friendly and helpful), so if arriving late have to co-ordinate.

Note also there is only coffee in common area - no food / breakfast / snacks as pictures on site suggest. Raised with owners who are working to correct info on various booking sites. Plenty of places to get food in the area though.

Our time at Magnifico Rome was fantastic! The triple room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The service was top-notch, with a special shoutout to Shafiq for his helpfulness. The hotel's proximity to the metro station and Trevi Fountain made exploring Rome a breeze. Plus, the convenience of luggage storage on our last day was a lifesaver. Definitely worth every penny! Can't wait to return.

I booked a one-night stay primarily because the hotel is very close to the train station. The accommodations are simple but certainly adequate and the price is good. The only caveat is that this (like a number of hotels these days) consists of a number of rooms in a large building whose facilities serve other interests. This creates some logistical challenges when you arrive, especially in the evening. The person on staff, Chaffee, was extremely helpful. It seems the trade-off is that the management can charge a bit less because they are not maintaining an entire building. That said, the room was very clean and the location very central.

Location is very close to the centre , walking distance to major attractions , manager practically never there , only expresso machine, no jug even in the foyer, forget about room. The rooms need to be upgraded, very small out of date as well as bathroom facility. In the bathroom and as well as in the room not enough surface area to put your personal belongings.

Only one person does registration and housekeeping. No 24x7, so if you are planning to leave bags, you are taking a big risk as the keypad codes through the several gets to get to the property don't always work. And if you have a foreign SIM card, you may not be able to reach anyone for help. Overall quality of the rooms not commensurate with the room rate. I stayed at a nearby hotel on subsequent dates that were cheaper with 24x7 staff and much better room quality.

Safe and quiet place. Close to Termini station and restaurants. Not much space for your clothes and there are no luggage rack, no iron/board to borrow.
The room are clean and tidy except the drawers has hairs which I cleaned and I think the fridge has a black mold. Air conditioning is not that good enough to cool us other than that all is well.

Great old Italian style guest house near main st.

Nice guest house close to Roma Termini station. Quarry room spacious and got 2 big double bed great for 4 people and with kids. Washroom is in the middle. Easy after hours check in. Secured with coded entrances at main door and iron gate and to the apartment and to your room! Old Italian apartment style building if you want to experience the old style instead of regular hotel experience. Front desk guy was great and we stored our baggage after check out to catch a later train from termini.

If you have not stayed in these types of properties in Italy, you need to know what you are getting. It is not staffed during the bull of the time. You use codes to get in, and it is hard to find and dark and very creepy in the entrance and way to the room. Once you get to the room, it is lovely. I travel alone. As a woman. Do not do these types of hotels alone. Not safe. Stay at a staffed hotel.

Very lovely hotel that is quite central to tourist attractions - most are within walking distance. Metro, bus station and rail station are nearby too (less than 15min walk) making travelling across Rome easy and convenient. Hotel room was lovely; nice clean bed and shower which is exactly what we wanted. Owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Cheap but simple

Location is great, there are a number of shops and restaurants nearby as well as one metro station.

The room is very comfortable, central air conditioning gave a very good climate to it.

The bathroom could have been in a better situation. Some of the appliances were not fixed, like the shower head that was a little loose.

I was expecting to have breakfast but not sure I can consider some sweet breads and two small box of juice left from one day to another to count as one.

Helpful staff. Although be aware, like many hotels in the area, it's not staffed throughout the day, mainly only when people check in. The building houses several hotels on different floors, as does another building nearby. The room was clean. Coffee machine in room is a plus.

Great staff, good location

Staff was great. Very helpful and accommodating, worked hard, and did everything to make the stay good. Accommodated a way for me to leave luggage and pick it up late in the evening. Location is good for train station. A little over 10min walk, but away from the more sketchy areas.

Hotel in magnificent palace

The hotel is situated at 2nd floor of magnificent palace. Location of the palace is very good, near Roma Termini Statione toward most sights of the city. I stayed in triple room (double + single bed) and it was excellent for me as a solo. Maybe a bit small for three adults (only one chair). Very clean and quiet for sleeping, although the palace is on the main street, the hotel is in the back part of the building. The staff was very kind. The breakfast consist of industry cakes, everything sweet (fruit yogurt). All things are in the room (there are refrigerator and coffee maker).

I stayed one night in Magnifico and it was perfect since it was within walking distance to all major attractions - Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon etc.

My host Shafik was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

My only piece of advice is to improve the breakfast - perhaps add in a sandwich!

Lovely budget hotel with perfect location

Location is perfect for touring Rome and only a five minute walk from the train station. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast consists of muffins and pastries which were very well stocked allowing for snacks throughout day. There were also two types of coffee for the coffee machine restocked daily. The lovely man at the desk could not have been more helpful and made our stay even nicer.

Room smelled like mold when we got in there the lady said it was what they used to clean. I know what cleaning solution smells like and that was just mold. There was a ridiculous infestation of ants and the air conditioner hardly worked so it was beyond hot

This hotel is a good, basic guest house/hotel. It's close to the metro and major Rome sights. It's quiet at night, clean, and has a small breakfast to get you started in the morning. Air conditioner, shower, mini fridge all worked fine.

It's fairly easy to find as long as you look for the address and not a sign (there is none).

The only con is that the desk is not staffed for much of the day (or at least it varies). The man at the desk is quite helpful though.

The hotel was nice. The owner was very nice and the location was perfect. Many great restaurants and I walked to pantheon, trevi, spanish steps and the colosseum. The only issues are the A/C isn't great, many hot nights in bed. And it's small. If your on budget this hotel is amazing but if you can afford a more comfortable room I would recommend it.

Worst choice for a Hotel in Rome

Very bad choice. Was a muck \"hotel\". Breakfast was a cookie in the room. Bad internet and a really really simple room. \"Staff\", was just the owner of this \"house-hotel\" and was not so helpful and arrogant. He really doesn't care about their clients. Never again I will stay at this awful place.

We didn't have to use any transport our entire stay thanks to the amazing location! Close to the train station for when we arrived and really close to all the major sights and lovely restuarants. Hotel manager was really helpful. Our room was very pleasant- pretty basic but clean. I would definitely stay again for the great price and location.

Great location, kind staff, well-maintained & more

This hotel is inside a beautiful building (even my Roman friends were impressed). Unlike other hotels I stayed at in Rome, you can actually enjoy a quiet night's sleep in Magnifico, despite its location on a bustling street. No loud traffic outside your window. The staff members are pleasant and helpful, the room was surprisingly spacious, kept clean and well-maintained. The various pastries, juices and coffee (incl. coffee maker!) in the comfort of your own room, which were replenished daily, were a wonderful, very convenient touch. Steps away from Repubblica subway station (not that you'll even need to take the subway as most of the main sights are within walking distance). I would absolutely consider returning here for my next visit to Rome. Nothing to complain about - for the price, Magnifico definitely hit all the points for me and even exceeded my expectations. Lovely 9-day stay.

Situated in excellent location and not expensive, this hotel has 9 rooms which are in pretty shattered condition (walls mainly). The breakfast is a yogurt, a coffee machine and a few waffles/croissant.
It is ok if you're not planning a romantic getaway in Rome, but if you want luxury for cheap - this is not the place. Great for sleeping, though

Loved the pillows and large room. It was really nice to have a fridge in the room too, as well as breakfast and water. There were some coffee stains on the wall and no access for the safe, but overall very nice. A little confusing to find off the main road and hard to get in at night (3 keys), but we figured it out eventually. Great location, close to just about everything. Great place to stay!

The hotel isn't bad, it's very close to the train station and roughly a 20-30 minute walk from the Trevi fountain, via del corso. A lot of little shops and restaurants around. The rooms are nothing fancy but that's fine since you hardly spend anytime in the room. The breakfast they give you isn't much, pastries, yogourts and coffee, overall not too bad of a place!

My elderly parents went and really enjoyed it. I booked it for them and was a bit worried as it was substantially cheaper than the majority of the hotels but my mum said it was fantastic and she would definitely return there. She said me and my husband should go and try it out ourselves! My dad highly rated it too. I was so relieved and so, so happy!

Walking distance from Termini station at very close to Republica metro station. Also about 20 mins walk to the Coliseum and other attractions in Rome. The only time we really had to use the metro was to get to the Vatican. The in-room breakfast of yoghurt and packaged buns was plentiful and replenished daily. Also the hotel staff were very helpful.

The hotel is situated on one floor of condominium, i think. Very good location (10 min slow walking to Termini station; easy to reach Pantheon and other spots on foot). But the room was a bit dissapointing: not bigger than a double bed, the bathroom was also righ inside the room, separated only with the sliding door. The included breakfast to our surprise was the plate of chocolate bars and biscuits (coffee machine is at the lobby). The only remarkable things in this hotel were the entrance and the courtyard with the fountain. So if you need any place in a good location only for sleeping - this could be an option.

This hotels has some good things but more things weren't good.

For sleeping the hotels was fine. But not if you wanna sleep until 9 in the morning. From early morning there alot of noise, because the rooms are close to the reception.

If you are looking for a place with good breakfast, the isn't the place. They don't even serve breakfast at the hotel. You have to leave the hotel and only a few minuts away, you get one crossaint, one cup of coffee, and a glass of juice. Not much, already an hour or two later you a hungry again.

Wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you only want a place to sleep, until 7-8 in the morning, and want to spend time looking for breakfast. There much more to Rome the looking for breakfast.

Ce qui nous a plu : Nous avons été très bien accueillis par un monsieur très gentil et serviable à notre arrivée. La chambre était petite mais correcte. L'hôtel est très bien placé pour visiter les grands sites de Rome. Ce qui nous a déplu : Nous avions également pris cet hôtel pour la réception 24/24h et le service bagaggerie notamment. En fait, la plupart du temps, il n'y a personne à la réception et c'est un gros problème. Un soir, le badge pour entrer dans l'hôtel ne fonctionnait pas et il n'y avait personne à la réception pour nous ouvrir la porte, j'ai envoyé un Whats app pour demander le code et j'ai eu le retour 30 minutes après ( nous étions entrés avec d'autres clients entre-temps ). Et pour le service babaggerie, il n'y a pas de local dédié, nous avons dû laisser nos valises dans le couloir de l'hôtel, ce qui n'est pas très rassurant puisque tout le monde passe. Enfin, un seul rouleau de papier toilette laissé pour nos 3 jours de séjour, heureusement que nous en avions enmené pour d'autres hébergements, sinon, c'était la panne sèche ! + une invasion de fourmis dans notre chambre. Donc au final, nous avons trouvé l'hôtel moyen.

La habitación y el baño cómodos. La limpieza bien. El hotel queda cerca a todo. Puedes ir a pie a todo lado. No me gustó el desayuno, pues te dejan en la habitación unos panecillos embolsados, café para pasar (no pude) yogures y agua. El hotel no tiene hall. Y se tiene que coordinar con mensaje la.llegada porque a veces no está el encargado.

Une réception fantôme : personne à l'accueil, sauf à l'arrivée ( un homme avec un T-shirt sale).
Des photos alléchantes sur le site et un petit-déjeuner inclus mensonger : en réalité, une cafetière à dosettes et quelques croissants industriels à la confiture.
Une salle de bain sale, de la moisissure sur les joints, les portes de la douche cassée et de l'eau froide à profusion. Le sèche-cheveux était un vrai danger, un fil coupé, j'ai évité de m'en servir.
Le lit était fait quand nous revenions en fin d'après-midi, mais pas la salle de bain.
Nous voyageons très souvent en Europe, nous sommes très déçus de cette prestation.

Unterkunft ist auf eine zentrale Strasse. Nicht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt. Leider war es Nacht zu laut. auch sauber war es leider gar nicht. Schreckliche dreckige Dusche ohne heisses Wasser!!! Appartment bestand aus 2 Zimmer. Ein Zimmer war gar nicht vorbereitet. Keine warme Decke, keine Klimaanlage. Tags war es heiss und Nachts kalt. Wir würden den Unterkunft nicht weiter empfehlen. Einziger Vorteil - das das Unterkunft sehr zentral liegt. Und noch etwas: das Frühstück bestand aus verpackte chemische Süssigkeiten und Kapseln Kaffee - Selbstbedienung im Zimmer. Schrecklich.

Innanzi tutto è un affittacamere e non un hotel, la colazione consista in brioches confezionate del discoun ed una macchinetta per il caffè a cialde oppure yogurt alla banana anch'esso del discount. Una sera al rientro abbiamo trovato la pirta spalancata. Pulizie scarse in bagno ed abbiamo usato gli stessi asciugamani per tutto il periodo,quindi non asciutti. L'unico punto a favore è la posizione, si va ovunque a piedi. 70 euro a notte per affittacamere è un po esagerato, considerato il zero confort.

Det var misfortåelse om betaling. Jeg trodde jeg hadde valgt betaling på hottelet.Og pengene ble trukket fra min konto. Jeg og vennine min betalt cash for de to dager jeg hadde reservert. Hun valgt bo der en ekstra dag. Jeg dro videre. Men alt ordnet seg.

Etablissement très joli et très bien situé entre le Colisée et la Fontaine de Trévi.
Seul petit bémol constaté, la propreté dans la salle de bain. Après en avoir fait part au personnel cela a été nettoyé en revanche chambre et sas d'entrée très propre.
Rapport qualité/prix parfait si on part dans le principe de ne prendre la chambre pour le repos et dormir et profiter pleinement de Rome.
Quartier en bas de la rue animé et bon resto à proximité.

Працівник на ресепшені чудовий, дочекався нас з пізнним прибуттям. В номері холодно і немає отоплення, простині в дирках, тапочків немає. В ванні смердить туалетом. Сніданка толком немає, в сніданок входить: круасан, вафелька, тістечко, сік, йогурт, і кавовий міні апарат для кави і капучіно, й пляшка води. Яцим не наївся а дружине не могла зранку їсти одне солодке. Сніданком це не назвеш...., Додатково требують плату за кожного по 3,5 євро за день, налога. Тому як для мене ціна велика за такий номер. Але працівник на ресепшені супер.

Bien place pour visites à pied avec bus et metro à proximite. De la gare.
Calme bien que cote petite rue au lieu de cour interieure comme prevu.
Enlever le nom LUXURY ,Magnifico suffit largement!!!

Nossa pior experiência na Italia!

Sem duvida, nossa pior escolha! Tinha lido que foi uma agradável surpresa aqui nos comentários mas eu achei horrível. O choveiro nao sai agua direito, o ar condicionado não funcionava e Roma é uma cidade muito quente! As toalhas não eram trocadas, e os sabonetes eles não repõe. Passamos 5 noites contando os dias para ir embora. A localização é excelente mas em frente ao nosso prédio tinham ótimos hoteis por uma merreca de diferença! Uma baita decepção. E para piorar, chegamos em Roma super cansados por volta das 11 da manhã, ao chegar no hotel loucos para tomar um banho e descansar, pediram para esperar até 14h da tarde para darmos entrada no hotel! Insistimos muito e só podemos entrar às 13h! Tivemos que ficar esperando na praça.. horrível!

Pésimo Hotel

La habitación estaba en mal estado.
El personal de recepción es grosero.
Si pides algo a recepción lo hacen de mala gana,como si te hicieran un favor forzadamente.
No hay recepción 24 horas o por lo menos durante todo el día, ya olvidémonos de la noche.
No vale el precio, las fotos no coinciden con la realidad.

Toplocatie en een goede prijs/kwaliteit voor dit h

Magnifico ligt lekker centraal, op 100 meter van Metrostation Republica. Voor een kort verblijf van 3 dagen was het hotel ok. Bedden en linnengoed was in orde. Een kleine tegenvaller wel was het ontbijt. dit zijn allemaal verpakkingen van diverse soorten koekjes een pakje sap en wel een lekkere koffie (dolce Gusto), geen thee! Ik had dat allemaal kunnen lezen want het stond in de beschrijving.
Al met al een leuk verblijf voor een leuk prijsje.

OK rom, men ikke mye mer

Ganske fint rom, bra og rent bad og flott beliggenhet. Hard seng og hotellet var ekstremt lytt. Hele hotellet besto i en etasje, og rommet lå rett ved siden av resepsjonen. Vi hørte alle som kom og gikk hele natten. Manglende service.
