We loved staying here. Our triple room was spacious, clean and comfortable, we felt safe walking around the area and the location was convenient for good places to eat, sightseeing and easy access to Termini for a couple of day trips out of Rome. The staff were friendly and helpful, the customised breakfast was great, and we were given little bottles of milk for making our own tea and coffee in the room. It was good value for money too, one of the cheaper places we stayed at but among the best for the amenities.

The hotel was about a 20-minute walk from Roma Termini Station and surrounded by plenty of dining options. The staff were friendly and even welcomed us with wine, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was okay, though the 8:00 AM start time wasn’t ideal since we had early tours. Thankfully, they offered to leave a breakfast box in the room the night before, which was convenient. Reception hours (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM) were a bit limiting, but they were responsive over WhatsApp. The room was quite small, but overall it was a decent stay with helpful staff.

We had a great stay for 5 nights at Amaranto. Hotel is in a great location with heaps of shops and restaurants around. Even located some good vegan options nearby (check out Rosemary’s around the corner and Vivi’s!). Walk to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pathenon and 2km shopping strip all with 15-20mins.

My wife and I stayed there for a week but we had some problems, we had to check in late so they sent us instruction to check in for somewhere else and we walked for ours till figure out what’s going on , I finally found different instruction for the location that Expedia showed. A day after I saw kind of bug on my towel, beside of that everything was clean. Breakfast was good( not open buffet) you should chose from the list a day before. Don’t think it’s Hotel, it’s Guest House/Air bnb.

Having read a number of mixed reviews I didn't know what to expect. However we really enjoyed our stay , the staff are very welcoming and helpful and the location is excellent we landed at FCO and got the train from the airport which was 14 Euros each,30 min train ride direct to central Rome and a 10 min walk to the accomdation . The room was comfortable and air conditioned . The venue is central located and we managed to walk everywhere from it . If you are looking for cheap comfortable 3 star accommodation I would recommend this

Amaranto Romano was the perfect place for my sister and I to come back to after a long day of exploring Rome and Pompeii. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious by European standards, and the courtyard location gauranteed a safe environment and quiet night's sleep.
The hotel location was easily walkable to all of the sites in Rome and being near the main train station was very convenient for our travel needs. We took the train from the airport to Termini Station and easily walked the 8ish minutes with our bags to Amaranto Romano. We also took a day trip to Pompeii and having the train station nearby was perfect for our early departure. And we used the train station one last time when we departed Rome for Florence.
There are a lot of dining options within a few minutes of the hotel whether you would like a lovely sit down dinner or a perfect take-away pizza that's just around the corner from the hotel. There is also a delightful gelato shop (Verde Pistachio) that is dangerously close to the hotel but after walking miles and miles all day, you earned it. Treat yourself!

I loved my stay in Amaranto Romano. The location was very convenient, near to dining options, mini markets and easy to explore the highlights of Rome. The room was always tidy when we went back and the air conditioning from the lobby was very welcoming after a day exploring during the hot summer. Thanks to the location, we were able to come back mid day to freshen up, take a shower and continue the other half of the day exploring. I would suggest having a fridge inside the room. The electric plugs did not seem to be standard in our room, so we couldn’t use the iron when needed, fortunately the staff was helpful lending us one that worked for our electronics.

Small little hotel with just a few rooms and shared reception with other hotels in the same building. Spacious and quiet room. We had a minor issue with hot water but staff was amazing in addressing it! Communication was good for checking in and during our stay. Note that you need to coordinate with them your arrival as reception is on 5th floor.

We did not have hot water. The toilet had a water drip so the sound was annoying. The sink is very shallow so the water splashes all over. The service and the people that did check in were very friendly. Location was fine for seeing different attractions as we enjoy walking everywhere. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Very clean. Apartment size room. AC worked great. Bathroom was ample size. 2 luggage racks were available with wardrobe including safe. There was a communal apartment sized small fridge in the common area to store yogurt, juice, etc that you purchased from the grocer. There was also a toaster, microwave, nespresso machine, and kettle available in the common area.
Fob and keys added extra security to the 5th level of the apartment. Didn’t take advantage of the breakfast. It was 7.50 € which may have been decent value.

The hotel is located in a large building with big doors from the street and occupies only the 5th floor. They will provide several keys for entry into the building door, gate, elevator and your apartment. Very centrally located! The staff was absolutely amazing, and helped me so much during my stay. I had gotten sick and they helped to translate the medications I needed. My room was also upgraded when I arrived! Just be aware that the elevator is very small.

This is a B&B. You have a room in an apartment building. Although clean, it is not anything high end or special. Location was good as it is right next to Republica station. That is the only plus. And the staff were really polite and tried to help as much as possible. They say breakfast included, but they kept forgetting to replenish breakfast. And they only had a few items for breakfast. Property needs renovation. Elevator can only accomodate 2 people at a time. No shampoo or amneties in bathroom so you would have to bring your own. Pictures shared on expedia do not compliment the actual venue. This is not a place I will stay at again.

I was supposed to check in prior to 8PM but hit traffic and emailed the location. There's nothing on the door that says there is a hotel in the building - which I later discovered was a B&B. I went to another hotel and the manager had no rooms but was able to contact the person in charge on the phone, who gave instructions.

The hotel is located in the back of a small yard, which keeps the noise from the street totally filtered out. We slept with open windows and it was very pleasant at the beginning of June. The location is perfect for all sorts of activities and the personnel went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. The only issue I had was the breakfast. The breakfast is a buffet type and one is asked to eat on the room. However, we did not have enough space for a really comfortable breakfast for three (for two it is not a problem). Still, we did not need to eat a lot since the most amazing lunches and dinners were waiting for us outside on the streets of Rome. I would go back and stay with them again, without further thinking. Clear recommendation!

Lovely B&B on the top floor of a big building complex. Reception was lovely and welcoming. Once inside the building it's nicely maintained. The old elevator a novelty. The room was quiet overlooking the inner courtyard. It's a short walk from the main train station and good staring point to see the main attractions of Rome. Breakfast was sparse and it's self serve 24/7 (or whatever is leftover of the fresh cake each morning). Bathroom is getting old and room is a little small and overall I'd stay there again.
