Great central location . Near piotrowska street . I found varying online checkin times and when I got there at 1 pm told I couldn’t check in. No problem they have a bar and lovely lounge area where I sat comfortably with my drink until I could . The lovely young gentleman when I checked in blinds hair and I’ve seen him evenings mostly was so helpful , gave me a map and recommendations which were spot on . Would stay here again

Ibis has a very convenient location - right in the center of the city. I have stayed here some 6 years ago and I have to say that comparing to other hotels that showed up in the mean time - this one is is definitely less equipped and has aging equipment. For example my door key (a magnetic card) didn't work half of the time. The shower head had a broken fixture. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful, but even they admitted that it had been frustrating for them that equipment is old.

The Ibis in Łódź is basic but clean and quiet. Rooms are small but everything fits; it's a budget hotel but close to Łódź shopping center and a few minutes stroll from the old town. If you want to have tea or coffee in your room, ask at receiption for a kettle and mugs. Bring your own coffee, teabags and shower gel - soap is supplied but it is basic quality.

For a 2 star hotel this is an excellent choice, very pleasant staff, excellent location right downtown Łòdź. Rooms are nice, clean and modern. Was a great place to stop for the night during my trip. I highly recommend, will stay again when I visit Łódź. For those who prefer personalized service like at an intercontinental chain, it may not be the best choice but comes at a fraction of the price.

Lodz pronounced as Woodge is a lovely place, and well worth a visit!
Good value hotel; near to the airport (5k) and in the City Centre. 5mins away from hundreds of shops from well known brands to food places. Great for exchange rates - we changed our £ notes for Polish currency here for a much better rate than in UK.
The hotel has a bar and restaurant for breakfast / evening meals. I booked without the breakfast option, so for 3/4 days went next door to Costa, but on 4th day tried the breakfast - continental style with a few hot buffet items. Was OK but at £8. They were doing an offer of 20% off a burger, but I didn't try this and ate out. For polish speakers, it is next door to Silver Screen - cinema complex.
A EU adapter was perfect for charging electrics in the room.
For those who want to explore, I recommend crossing the road and taking a walk down Piotrkowska Street, which is one of the longest commercial thoroughfares in Europe, with a length of 4.9 km. It has lots of shops / restaurants and bars all the way down, with interesting bronze figurines. About a mile down, you'll find the tourist office. In here you can purchase post cards and other souvenirs and pick up some maps. The staff were very friendly and gave me a couple of free postcards as i was purchasing others.
All in all, I had a wonderful time in Poland and would definitely return and will definitely stay in this hotel again, due to its central location.

The hotel is very right next door to Galleria Mall and just a short walk to the famous Lodz Street - Right in the middle of main city center. The hotel was clean and had a good feel/ambiance to it. I stayed in lodz for 6 days out of which 4 were spent here and the other 2 in another hotel which was more expensive per day but not as lively/bright as this. The room was comparatively smaller but good for a single persons stay as i had booked a single room for 1 adult. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in city center.

I travelled to Lodz to visit friends and stayed at the Ibis in the city centre. I have stayed at Ibis hotels in the UK through work and was expecting a standard hotel for a standard price. It turned out to be quite a decent hotel with friendly, helpful english-speaking staff which was a pleasant surprise. The buffet breakfast was very good too and at just over £20 per night the price was excellent! Would recommend to anybody travelling to Lodz

The reception staff was very nice,however there was a problem with the central heating. You cant adjust the heat in your room. The temperatures that weekend were very cold, and I froze during the night. I was offered another room in the hotel, and it was similar. However, if it wasnt so cold, the hotel is in an excellent location and is quite cheap.

I doubt you can get a better location in Lodz for being close to all the main areas. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful and you do know what you get with Ibis, basic, but a clean comfortable room and decent facilities. Good value for money stay in a very good location.

located in the heart of the city with the reasonable rates. We enjoyed the modern interior design in the rooms, cleanliness and the fact that hotel is new. We were surprised that there are no alarm clocks in the room, but having a wake up service did the job.
