There are no refrigerators, no safes in the room, and no laundry services even though the website explicitly says they have laundry. I was told the website does say they don’t have refrigerators and I spent 40 minutes looking for that info but never found it. Other than that the place is fine. It’s conveniently located, clean, and modern. Had I known ahead of time what they were missing I would’ve stayed elsewhere.

Hop and a skip from concert venue

The hotel was well placed for our needs, though not near the centre of Lodz. The staff were helpful with our need for assistance with some charging plugs, as there were none in the room. The room was quite small, and the corridor to the rooms was a little foreboding. This may have been to do with it being an old factory.

World place ever! Thank god we got home safely!

The most terrible stay ever. Staff were rude! They made us to pay a second time at the hotel and when we asked them to check this they called the police and we got evicted even though we had paid for hotel for 3 nights. They would not refund any money. We ended up paying for 3 nights and only stayed one night.

When the police arrived they told the police I was drunk because I had ordered 2 single cocktails - one was yet not even touched when the incident took place. There is a zero alcohol tolerance in Poland so even after one drink you are assumed to be drunk and disorderly! I’m a U.K. citizen and well travelled and have never experienced anything like this anywhere in the world!

After this incident we moved to another hotel called Kossak which was outstanding. We explained our experience to the staff and they told us that these small village hotels try and swindle people who don’t speak the language! This put me off Poland for life!
Only stay at this hotel if you want to be abused / swindled and not have any rights!

Overall experience was good, but I'd expect the hotel to ensure that organised events do not affect other guests. There was a wedding taking place at the hotel during my stay which resulted in lack of sleep due to the noise.

Hotel room was fab wanted to extend another day but hotel was fully booked. Room clean, water, tea and coffee provided. (no milk for the tea) Shower was amazing, towels were a bit well used, could have been nicer. On the whole good experience. Breakfast was varied but did not include yoghurt.

This is a pretty new hotel or at least reconditioned recently and I can easily say that I've had a pleasant stay. Their restaurant was amazing (breakfast or a la carte ), the gym was a bit small but it was enough for some cardio and the only thing which I disliked was the wifi which was pretty slow.

Long weekend in Lodz, Poland

Lodz is well worth a visit if you like a city off the beaten track. There is lots to see and do and we only scratched the surface. Public transport is excellent. Hotel Tobaco is a perfect base in a lovely building which has been sympathetically modernised.

Cool hotel in old tobacco factory

Only stayed for one night but had a great stay. The building is very cool and the rooms are super cozy. Great shower. There's a restaurant which is pretty good. Close to Manufaktura shopping area. Pretty solid, I'd stay there again.

I would like to preface saying that most people do not seem to have any problems with the few things that bother me: As you can tell from other reviews and the awards received this is a popular boutique hotel with a lot going for it and a comparatively reasonable price when ordering through hotels.com. However it *is* a three and not four star hotel. Little things make that clear such as how parking is handled and the state of room key card readers. Rumble from passing trams is also felt on one side of the hotel. Again, most of this might not bother you; but I did feel the need to add this side of the story and get my hotels.com bonus rewards.

the room was much smaller than I expected, the pillows were not good
and we supposed to stay in the first /second floor, but the WIFI connection was very weak
Then the counter has arranged us to the room which closes to the concierge then it was fine at the end
but it takes us extra time to change of room and thus we were not able to visit the museum.

The hotel and location are very good, just a few minutes walk from the main street in Lodz. I did suffer with the heat in the hotel room during the night and it was not possible open the window due to the road traffic noise.

Lovely modern hotel

My daughter and I checked in on Friday and left on the Sunday. Its about 20 minutes to walk to the main street but there are trams and buses outside the hotel if you prefer. It was comfortable, clean and the breakfast was lovely.

Great new hotel. Nicely decorated spacious rooms with high ceiling. One wall kept its original character with red bricks and cement finish-really impressive. We loved the breakfast in the morning.

一階でトラムが通る時に少し振動はありましたが、それほど頻繁ではないので気になりません

たくさんの素敵な絵が飾ってある気持ちの良いスペースは何時間でも過ごすことができます

Sejour d'une nuit. La réceptionniste m'a demandé de m'inscrire moi même sur leur ordinateur alors qu'elle n'avait rien dautre à faire. Mais comme c'était écrit trop petit, je lui ai demandé de le faire elle même en lui donnant ma carte d'identité. Mais elle a refusé. J'ai été obligé de la menacer de partir bers un autre hotel pour que finalement elle accepte de m'enregistrer. Cette fille ne sert à rien. 10 minutes après, elle scrollait sur son téléphone. La chambre était propre mais très petite.

ciekawy obiekt, piekne podworze , odrestaurowana fabryka wyrobów tytoniowych. Wystrój wnetrz miał być chyba elegancki, wyszedł smutno brudny. Pokój mały , okno wychodzące na ulice,gdzie jeżdzą tramwaje, więc głośno nad ranem. Śniadanie dobre, ale znów miejsce przytłaczające. Ciekawy pomysł z hotelową księgarnia z pieknymi ksiązkami oraz sprzedaża ceramiki i rekodzieła wykonanego przez osoby upośledzone.

Bardzo dobre śniadania. Całkiem blisko centrum. Może przydałoby się małe odświeżenie ścian w pokoju - w kilku miejscach odeszła farba. Jeśli chodzi o czystość - oceniam na średnią. Sprzęt na mydło i papier toaletowy najtańszy - od tego typu hotelu spodziewałabym się wyższej jakości ułatwiającej użycie. Obsługa miła.

Õudne asukoht - otse hotelli eest sõidavad trammid läbi, hotelli ees saab parkida ainult kõnniteele kuid kõik on tihedalt täis pargitud, esmasel külastamisel ei ole autot kuhugi jätta - hotellist vaja küsida ja maksta parkimiskoha eest tagahoovis, enne seda vaja auto jätta 300-400 meetri kaugusele. Teenindus oli kiire ja viisakas. Hommikusöögil neil mingit rootsilauda ei ole, saab tellida ainult väikse menüü alusel, omlett oli õudne, kohvi oli maitsev. Ei soovita.

Cena za nocleg hotelu ****, a jakość **

Jedyne plusy to bardzo uprzejme i pomocne panie sprzątające oraz przyzwoite śniadanie.
Minusy:
- brak miejsc na parkingu (cyt.:\"proszę znaleźć miejsce wzdłuż ulicy\", i wow, rzeczywiście było miejsce na chodniku około 800 m dalej),
- ciemny, mały pokój z wąskim łóżkiem,
- kiepskie wyciszenie, słychać wyraźnie wszystko, co się dzieje na korytarzu oraz na ulicy,
- drżenie budynku gdy przejeżdża tramwaj,
- urwany uchwyt prysznica,
- ubrudzone żelazko (= zniszczona bluzka i tylko niczemu niewinna pani sprzątająca przeprosiła za sytuację, w dodatku poszła do sklepu po pergamin by wywabić plamę),
- nieuchwytny przed godz. 10.00 menadżer,
Reasumując: cena nieadekwatna do jakości, nauczka na przyszłość, by korzystać ze sprawdzonych wcześniej rozwiązań. Do ceny pobytu muszę doliczyć koszt zniszczonej odzieży.

Warto odwiedzić

Bardzo ładnie urządzony hotel oraz pokoje, można korzystać z sauny, siłowni. Jednak wielka zaletą jest możliwość doliczenia rachunku za posiłek do usługi hotelowej.
Bardzo smaczne śniadania, wysokiej jakości produkty oraz dobry ekspres do kawy.
Będzie to mój sztandarowy hotel.

Pokoj jednoosobowym nie jedt duży ale jest wysoki. Ma wszystko co potrzeba dla wygodnego pobytu. Jest w hotelu niesamowicie cicho co pozwala dobrze spać. Łóżko ma wygodny materac. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Der Check in verlief schnell, jedoch unfreundlich und sehr reserviert. Keine Informationen, nur knappe Antworten.
Das Zimmer war okay, es roch sehr stark nach einem Raumduft.
Im Bad lagen noch Haare und Dreck in den Ecken, auch der Teppich war nicht sauber.

Die Betten waren schlecht gemacht, teilweise reichte das Laken nicht über die Matratze.

Beim Check out, keine Frage ob alles okay war. Auch keine Verabschiedung beim rausgehen.

Uroczy, nowoczesny butikowy hotel w pięknej zabytkowej fabryce w śródmieściu Łodzi, blisko Dworca Kaliskiego i Atlas Areny, przy samym przystanku tramwajowym. Bardzo duży pokój z super wygodnym łóżkiem, widok na pełne zieleni, zadbane, spokojne podwórko z loftami. Pyszne śniadanie. Przy recepcji dostępna dla gości kawa i herbata. Łódź to piękne miasto.
