Clean, comfortable, and wonderful at Novotel Łódź

This is my third or fourth stay at the Novotel Centrum Łódź, and it was terrific. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and I couldn’t be happier. Despite my lack of Polish language, everyone spoke excellent English and helped me throughout my stay, even ordering a taxi for me.

Only minor hick-up was the view (roof with ventilation equipment blocking any view), but this was on 2nd floor (higher floors would not be affected) and we haven't spent much time in the room during daylight hours...

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend for the wedding of our son. Excellent in all respects - staff, facilities, location - and we would recommend anybody to stay here. Our party of five adults and a two year old child were well received and our hire van was parked for free at the rear of the hotel as it was slightly too big for the shared underground car park at the side of the hotel itself. Additional milk and food provided free of charge for the youngster. The hotel have free pedal cycle hire which enabled the fitter and earlier risers of the party to explore the centre of Lodz. There is a large shopping mall next door and a tram terminal opposite.

Great Hotel in the center of Lodz

This hotel is very conveniently located in the center of Lodz. It has great amenities including a fitness room, conference room and free bike rentals. The mall is just across the street from the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are large, comfortable and modern. The only drawback is that the bathroom doors are really loud. Overall, it's a great hotel.

Weekend trip to Lodz for 2 adults + 2 children (8 & 4). Breakfast in the hotel is a bit pricy but there is Galeria Lodzka next door which offers coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store, etc. The hotel is located next to a newly opened (Mar 2016) wax museum on Sienkiewicza St. (fun for kids!). It is also a short walking distance from Piotrkowska street, few parks and palm house. Overall great location.
Kids slept on a sofa which unfolded into a twin bed. It was a bit hard but comfortable.

Sparkling new hotel close to center

The hotel is new. Thus, everything is clean and unworn. A ten minute walk toward the south took us to the Lodz textile museum, which has a fine exhibition on the city's economic and social history, and ten minutes in the other diraction brings one to the city center with a plenitude of sights, including the palatial home of the textile magnate Israel Pozanski as well as numerous gastronomic establishments. A large shopping center across the street caters to all needs. In all, a very comfortable hotel in an excellent location.

Room was a good size for a family, breakfast was also good. There was no information about the major renovation of the city centre which meant that it took us more than an hour to get to the hotel once we were in the city. It was a shame the hotel did not warn us about this. Worth visiting once the work is complete.

After traveling all day to get to Lodz, I finally arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm, only to be told that they overbooked and gave away my room. They sent me over to the Ibis, of which the room rate was higher because I was not using Hotels.com online rates.

They were not apologetic, and there was nothing I could do except walk over to the other hotel that is not as nice, late in the evening with all my luggage in tow.

On arrival,the receptionist was so lovely & friendly, soon found out that everyone working here was pleasant and friendly. Nothing was too much bother, an example; i went to reception at 2am for milk, it was no problem, another hotel would of probably said sorry kitchen is closed, little things like that were always no bother.
We took breakfast included option and we were very happy we did as 6/7 mornings we had the breakfast, they don't rush you out because it states breakfast is finished at 10 and there is a lovely selection of food.
Also had dinner here 4 nights as the food was amazing.
The bedroom was very comfortable, wardrobe space too small for 8 days clothes but even so I'd defo return here, also they should change the bathroom doors they open out as 2 and are noisy and annoying but they are genuinely the only faults I found with this hotel, the bed was super comfy and the rooms are sound proof.
Location was also perfect with plenty to do near by and walking distance from piotrkowska street, also a shopping centre,cinema and bowling alley next door.
Another plus point the best wifi I've ever had in a hotel, super fast & no extra charge like other hotels
Overall 9.5 out of 10

This is a brand new Novotel which is very nice. Once they have finished roadworks outside it will be even better. Had a very nice lunch at the hotel, and breakfast was great. Very helpful and nice personnel,Katerina at reception was outstanding.

Everything was great. We spent only one night here but had a really great impression about the hotel. Only \"downgrading\" factor was the construction in the surrounding neighbourhood, which made the access to the hotel a little but difficult. Apart from this, we were extremely happy. Our room was clean and fresh. Bathroom (which is always the most important factor for my wife) was also clean and seemt almost new. Can only recommend!

Very modern and stylish.
The room was spacious with double bed and sofa bed.
Top of the range flat screen tv.
Service was excellent. Any thing you asked reception for was given as soon as possible. They even let us keep the room until 6pm free of charge.

This new NOVOTEL has a cheapish feel to it, and has no wow factor of any kind. It is very clean and new, and the service is as good as you can get - within the constraints of the spartan hotel. This is a souped up version of teh next door IBIS, for twice the price. For a slightly higher price stay at the Holiday Inn, or go for the Andels, which is a jewel. Even the old GRAND has the historic charm, though it needs renovation. Location is superb, but there is just no character to the Novotel.... sorry....

I'm a regular visitor to lodz, thought I'd try this hotel as it's new. I was extremely impressed. Rooms were clean with fantastic facilities. Comfortable bed, luxury bathroom and plenty of space. Reception and bar staff went beyond the call of duty to fulfil our requirements. Location was great wit. Good access to the city.

This hotel is only a few months old, very clean. Beds are comfortable, they offer two bottles of \"welcome\" water, nice jesture. Reception person Tomek was very helpful, same at the restaurant. They all speak English at hotels and restaurants. There is underground parking garage in the attached building. This hotel is not difficult to get to by car, since it is located on one of the main drags and it is clearly marked. The only negative thing we noticed was the doors into the bathroom cannot be closed quietly. Every time you open these French doors, you have to pull them from the magnets on each wall, then they bang one another when closing. It is kind of an inconvenience if there are two people in the room and one of them wants to use the bathroom while the second one is sleeping. Otherwise, excellent hotel.

Godt og god beliggendhed

God kundeservice. Rent og pænt. Dørene ud til badeværelset larmede når man åbnede og lukkede og der var en sprække igennem dørene når var lukkede - ikke fedt. Sengen var meget hård og der var dobbelt dyne, så kan man godt lide dynen for sig selv, skal man nok bede om to istedet.
Fin minibar, kaffe og elkedel, skabe til tøj og en p-garage til hvis man ankommer i bil eller motorcykel.
Morgenmaden var rigtig god og hotellet ligger meget centralt, både på storcenter, Piotrkowska gaden og Rosen passagen :)

Novotel wybrałem ze względu na sprawdzoną jakość i standard, dobre śniadanie w cenie oraz solidną jakość obsługi. Do tego świetnie położony względem Piotrkowskiej oraz Łodzi Kaliskiej.
Hint: idźcie na śniadanie koło 8, po 9 jest młyn ;) Bardzo fajny pomysł z czajniczkami na herbatę.

Z lekkich minusów - przydałaby się możliwość segregowania śmieci w pokoj, 3 niewielkie kosze nie zagraciłyby przestrzeni.
