A beautiful BnB overlooking Galway. Had everything we needed. We checked in later in the evening and we were met at the entrance with a warm welcome and instructions for entering our room. Breakfast was included and we can't rave enough about how wonderful it was! The room was basic, clean and warm.

We only stayed one night on our way to head towards Knock airport. It was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing even though there was no vegan option - we ate vegetarian.

Our one-night stay at Kilbree House was fantastic! We drove through a massive rain storm and wind to reach our destination, and our room was a welcome respite from the road. The storm was bad enough that the satellite TV was spotty, but the room was safe and warm against the world outside. The next morning dawned bright and sunny, and we headed down to what can only be described as a fantastic breakfast; we were met with a delectable amuse-bouch consisting of 5 perfect little bites. ( my only suggestion is to provide two of each so couples can enjoy without losing their beauty to the knife each time. LOL) and then a breakfast menu with very well-prepared and delicious entrees. We had the Eggs Benedict and the Eggs Florentine ( made with a smaller egg, quail perhaps?) it is no coincidence that a copy of Larousse Gastronomique adorns the dining room. Our stay was fantastic, and we would highly recommend Kilbree House to all who enjoy a gourmand experience. Well done!

This is NOT a BnB. It is a super upscale small boutique hotel. (that's a compliment) Mike and the staff are out of this world! The breakfast was nothing short of amazing. We had room 4 (ask for it when booking and pay whatever they ask) It was the best two days on our 2 week Ireland vacation. I cant rave enough.

Mike greeted me warmly. I had an upgraded room with a heating blanket! I put it to great use. It's about a 13 minute cab ride to city center.
I woke expecting toast and butter. Instead, I had eggs Florentine with a cheddar biscuit, crudites and a pot of tea. Best breakfast I've had in ages. I rushed off to my cab for a shuttle and ferry extremely full and happy. Highly recommended. It's very quiet there, and that was great for me. Little chair and table outside my room if I cared to smoke. It was nice. Water pressure was great on the shower!

First off, let me just say that this is the first BnB I have ever stayed in. And I don't think I could have asked for a better introduction. The owner, Michael, was the most warm and gracious host anyone could ask for. Being from America and never traveling abroad before, I didn't know what to expect from the Irish in terms of hospitality and manners and everything. And now I see they basically have a trademark on politeness.

What a wonderful place! Mike welcomed me very warmly, and was very efficient at orienting me - room, dinner (and where to park), etc. The room was quite large, super clean, and very quiet - important for me. Breakfast (included) in the morning was superb - quite a large menu of options - I had an omelette and it was delicious - and while I was waiting, I got a beautiful plate of amuse-bouche, all yummy! And the yogurt was tops! Everyone in the dining room seemed to be having a wonderful time. In summary, this place is much better than what the pictures convey. And it's only a few minutes drive to the center of Galway - without the high prices of the hotels \"in town\" and without the noise. It's truly a gem!

Interior room needs walls cleaned and painted. Ceiling in breakfast room has water stains and needs repainted. It looked like exterior railing is being replaced. Some sprucing up will go a long way. I had a pleasant stay.

For our first night in Ireland, this was a great stay. We were exhausted and crashed. Was very pleased with the shower /bathroom for the room. We woke the next morning to a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful dining room by great hosts as we chatted with a couple from Australia.

Awesome experience. We stayed three nights and Kilbree House makes for a good base for day trips around Connemara. Our host - Mike - was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He and his staff prepared made to order breakfasts that were delicious and plentiful. I loved that they actually changed out linens, made the bed and restocked coffee and beverages in the rooms daily. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking!
