Good hotel with many facilities on site for young families - presumably comes into its own with improving weather. We just needed a room and breakfast and it did that with ease.

As i booked through Expedia, i was charged £9 at check-in for the car park. Seems excessive and tarnished my stay. I wanted to discuss with staff upon check out and waited around for 5 minutes but no staff was present.
I have stayed regularly at this hotel and we even had a buiness rate with them at one time. This is the first time we didnt make a direct booking with them. Maybe lesson learnt but i still feel £9 feels excessive when you are already a customer of the hotel.

Breakfast was included and the 4 stars reflected that whilst the breakfast was adequate it was “nothing to write home about” as it were. Ooh yes and finding out I had to pay (an additional £9) to park as I’d booked through Expedia was a bit disappointing. Otherwise excellent value for money compared with many other leading brands.

I have stayed lots of times for business over the last year as its a lovely hotel with air conditioned rooms for a very reasonable price. I took my family last night for the first time last night as its unfair i have been to drayton manor and my children haven’t (the kids words not mine). Me and my wife have 4 children making hotel stays difficult, i thought i had got adjoining rooms when booking and after a phone call last week to check this was arranged, i was told there was none available and since i booked through a third party there wasn’t any available, bit disappointed we went to the theme park and decided to have 2 children each in our separate rooms! While checking in i told this to a lovely gentleman man on reception who quickly gave me another option they would upgrade one of our rooms complimentary so we could have a adjoining room and finish our day at the park together as a family at the hotel. 1 million % i will be stay there again both for family and for work purposes.

The staff were drinking alcohol on shift instead and after multiple calls unanswered i could not even recieve first aid after the thor ride closed on my back without any prior warning, hitting my spine resulting in pain and stiffness. Though we stayed at draytons own hotel we then had to pay twice almost £200 just to enter the resort park where we were staying. So thats £500 without anything else. Nomini bar or room service. No cleaners during entire stay.
There were multiple rides shut qbout 5 or more with others breaking down every 5 mins. Resulting in only getting on 2rides for £100???? ?!!@!! No tea or coffee maker. Loose fittings old worn dirty walls ect. The standards were no higher than a premiere inn. Infact premiere inn is better value and cleaner rooms. The room shown on our booking looked nothing like it.

No help available usingthe phone provided. The staff were drinking alcohol on shift instead and after multiple calls unanswered i could not even recieve first aid after the thor ride closed on my back without any prior warning, hitting my spine resulting in pain and stiffness. Luckily this resided enough to complete the trip for the kids.
Although the tenderness and muscular pain is still present i managed to persevere.
Upon arrival i discovered access to the resort was extra even though id paid 300 to stay at the resort paying extra for access to the resort was not advertised clear enough. There were NO discounts or perks for the themepark entry even r
Though we stayed at draytons own hotel we then had to pay twice almost £200 just to enter the resort park where we were staying. So thats £500 without anything else. Nomini bar or room service. No cleaners during entire stay.
There were multiple rides shut qbout 5 or more with others breaking down every 5 mins. Resulting in only getting on 2rides for £100???? ?!!@!! No tea or coffee maker. Loose fittings old worn dirty walls ect. The standards were no higher than a premiere inn. Infact premiere inn is better value and cleaner rooms. The room shown on our booking looked nothing like it.

Been coming for many years with kids who love it. Rooms are clean and spacious although we are a family of 5 and woukd prefer to have everyone in same room rather than interconnecting rooms. I think the hotel should look into catering for families for 5 dith bunk beds and trundle bed

Checking in was a breeze and very helpful and cheery staff when arriving.
Minor issue with the room when arrived, however it was sorted by the desk staff and a happy resolution was found.
Accomodation wise after that was spot on.
Really have to say the staff members we dealt with were exceptionally good and a credit to the hotel.

Great for ease of access to Drayton Manor Park. Friendly check in staff and very welcoming. Evening meal in restaurant was ok. Food was of a good standard but time to serve was not. Waited 30 minutes for 2 ice creams to find they hadn’t gone through the system. Staff very apologetic and knocked dessert and a bit extra off bill. Would definitely recommend stay there, maybe eat in bar area same menu as restaurant but more relaxed which we did on second night. Room comfortable and an adequate double sofa bed for my 3 year old granddaughter.

If you want an evening meal book in advance as they offered us an evening meal on arrival which my son was then desperate to have but despite checking in at 4pm they could only offer 7.45pm (we hadn’t booked as hadn’t planned to eat there). It does say online to book in advance so this isn’t a complaint just a heads up incase you plan to eat in the evening. Generally a pleasant stay with friendly staff and we’d go back if we got another good deal!

I booked to stay here to go to Thomasland, several days after booking i got a email to say the park would not be open during my stay.
I went and book flights for another date and this hotel, only then to discover my original date the park was open.
Emailed the hotel and they didnt want to know, dispite it being them who informed me wrong. It made the trip very costly. Would not recommend due to very poor customer service.
Also 24 hours before my booking i got an email to say my family would not fit in room i booked, there was ample room in our room for our family.
