This is a no frills low budget hotel right across the street from the train station.
It is clean and the staff is nice and speaks English well enough.
Included in the room price is a nice European breakfast, and the location makes it easy to walk to the old village. It is easy to get to other areas via the Gare tram stop.
Several higher end hotels nearby seem to still be closed due to reduced COVID travel, so this is a reasonable alternative.

I had a comfortable 1 night stay there, quiet enough to sleep on a Friday night with the windows open. Basic room with necessities like a kettle and a stove. Only feedback was that the shower was not working well - the shower head kept sliding down presumably due to a lack of grip. Otherwise, can't beat the location and price.

Booked 18dec-19Dec single room and reached out to hotel via Expedia to inform that I will be arriving on 19Dec 5am from Barcelona , needed some rest before my next bus at 2pm . Requested for late check out at 2pm if possible but was declined , requested again upon check in and was told to check with next shift during check out time at 11am but that would defeat the purpose of catching up with some sleep from an overnight 8hrs long bus journey . Would really appreciate this property to practise more flexibility and perhaps more empathy towards the guest’s needs . I paid for a full night but ended up checking in at 6am , surely a late check out request of 3hrs isn’t too much to ask for . Also , the hot water was out after 10 minutes of shower so I had to endure a cold shower at 6am which is an added bummer to my experience . Location wise , it’s perfect for those arriving by train or bus as its literally across the street . Room is very spacious with basic apartment amenities just needed for a short stay .

This property was a wonderful place to stay as I explored the city. The front desk staff were kind and spoke very good English, and my room had a lovely view of the mountains. The hotel location is very convenient either to the train station to access other cities or the tramway to explore the city more fully, but I found enough to enjoy within walking distance. The washer and dryer in the hotel basement worked fine as well.

We saw a specific balcony on the hotels.com advert and secretlt woshed for this room... luckily, we got it! The view was amazing and the lay out of the room was quirky.
U fortunately there was cigarette stumps on the balciny floor, the patio furniture was fault and much of the building meeded freshening up.

Likes: Decent space, not too big not to small. Kitchen made it easy to cook since most restaurants were closed due to pendemic. Right next to train station.

Dislikes: Out of the 7 nights we were there, NOT ONE PERSON came to clean the room. We asked the front desk the 3rd day to see why no one has cleaned our room and they said they were going to clean it the next day...no one ever came......my wife and i were very disappointed with the cleaning service. We kept asking for more toilet paper and for more towels throughout our stay since no one cared for our room. We let them know on the last day, they were sorry of course. But hopefully it encouraged them to not let it happen to anyone else.

Hotel doesn't look much from the outside but fine, clean and spacious inside. Just outside the train station and 15 minutes walk into town centre. Room very comfortable and clean with efficient A/C - ideal in 36 degree heat when I was there. Could improve the coffee at breakfast. Wi-fi dropped at peak times.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations as it was such a reasonable price for what we got. We needed to be close to the station and these areas are often the worst for hotels. However, we had a very functional, comfy and clean room with a nice en suite and a small kitchen area which meant we didn't have to eat out all the time. Although the building is old our accommodation was very good.

The heating was not working, the toilet seat was broken, the bed side lamp was flickering. A great hotel near Grenoble railway/bus station.

The hotel is straight opposite the railway station and bus station so no problem with carrying your luggage.
In a 15-20 minute walk, you are in the town centre and old part of Grenoble. The tramway stop is near the hotel.
There are plenty of restaurants on the way to the centre as well as in the centre.
The staff is very helpful, friendly and polite.
The room was spacious and bright with a kitchenette (cooker, fridge...etc...). There is a desk with a lamp. the bed has 2 bedside lamps. The wardrobe is big enough for your clothes.
The bathroom and toilets are perfectly fine.
The place was clean.
Breakfast for €9 was fine and you can eat as much as you want.
This hotel is perfect for a short or longer stay.
There is plenty to see and do in Grenoble.

Room was clean with a shower above the bath, no shower curtain. Due to making an early start didn't have breakfast. Overall clean and comfortable hotel with plenty of restaurants in the area.

A nice hotel across the road from the station. Breakfast starts form 03h30 so really good if you have a train to catch or just need an early start. Rooms are not cleaned every day except on request. The room was nice and clean when I arrived though.There are a few cafes and restaurants etc nearby but in any case the City Centre is only about eight minutes away by tram

The 4 person room was actually bigger than expected from the photos. The hall area easily accommodated a baby buggy.

Could have done with mugs and glasses and a few more comfortable seats (only one settee bed). One room was missing a small table, pouffe, and no high attachment for a \"hand free shower\" compared with the other room I booked. This is all minor stuff, but would improve the overall experience.

Really clean bed and room. Safe place. Gentle and easy check-in. Some item misplacement like the refrig. door opening wrong way and hurting the table (so you cant access it easilly since its close the the wall). Misplaced toilet where the facing wall is next to your knees; rotating it 90 degrees and putting it on the other wall could solve this problem (space already exist). SMALL BATH AND NO SHOWER: bath was like 3 feet long! 10 secs away of the Grenoble train station

good hotel near World Trade Center in Grenoble

I booked the hotel for a conference and extended for a couple of days for a short vacations. The hotel had everything I needed. The room was clean, although I noticed some dust in tight spaces. A double bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, although on a smallish side, with a large bathtub and a hand held shower. The room was not very large, but definitely large enough for rest, work, and even cooking. The small kitchenette area has everything you need to cook for two. Security is good with a code protected entrance and a 24/7 reception. Hallways were a little bit dark and depressing, but freshly painted and clean. Painting them in a brighter color (it is dark blue right now) would definitely help. The most important for me was the hotel's location: 2-3 minutes from the train and bus stations, the same from several car rental agencies, and 10-15 minutes slow walk from the city center. There were some food places around, but I would always prefer to go to the center for more variety. There was one grocery store abour 5 minutes away and a convenience store open late even closer, but good only for water, beer, snacks, and indian food. Internet was free and adequate for me, although at times slagish. It was good for e-mail and news, but I would not watch movies there. Overall, the room was good for one and would be good for two. The weekend price was OK (under CAN$70).

We picked this hotel mainly for its location across the street from both the rail and bus stations. I knew I would be arriving late and wanted an easy location to find. The receptionist spoke English which was an added bonus and greatly appreciated!
The Residhotel Central Gare is an older Hotel, but it did have an elevator( which made 'life\" easier as we had three large suitcases), and Wifi. The room was huge with a kitchenette and a small TV. Since all the programs were in French I didn't use it at all.
If you are looking for a modern hotel, this isn't it. But if a great location close to a variety of restaurants and the main city squares, the Residhotel may be for you. It was perfect for my three day stay.

Apart from those issues its well positioned right next to the railway and within easy walking distance of the old town and river.

Good hotel for the money

I checked in on a Friday afternoon. The front desk girl spoke pretty good English and was helpful in answering my initial questions about the city and room as well as later follow up questions. She was generally very pleasant to interact with so I would rate the staff highly at this hotel. The other staff members were also OK and spoke enough English (better than my French)
The room was clean with somewhat new looking furniture. Bathroom also seemed relatively new and was clean also. Location is across the street from the train station which is great for convenience because that also is right near the end of the main street so you can walk or take the metro to most places easily.
Overall it is a good hotel for the price.

This is hardly a hotel and that's my problem with it. This is just a basic apartment (that was probably at some point a rental apartment) that they decided to renovate slightly and turn into the hotel. You will not get any facilities or much service at this place. The room is old, outdated and does not even have a carpet. If they advertised this place as a motel with no facilities, I'd be OKAY, but at this rate this place does not pass the litmus test for a hotel. The WIFI does not work and there is nobody to complain to, the room was unprepared for a hotel-type stay, the coach was extremely old and uncomfortable, the \"TV\" was a 19-inch monitor that didn't even work.

Overall I felt like I stayed at a very poor location at a very poor country and city. I have been to hotels at poor third-world countries and they had much better facilities than this rental joint. NOT recommended.

The room was giant and spacious - this was very pleasing but fell short because it did not have a carpet, proper furniture or even basic amenities. The air conditioning was perfect.

The hotel is opposite the train & bus station so very easy to find. The hotel is basic but perfect for a weekend break where you are out & about exploring. Great location and well maintained

The room was great (equipped with air conditioning, hot plates and fridge). There is a grocery store about 10 minutes away by foot and most of all it is right across from the train station and the tramway stop.

Just as Needed

The room was spartan but totally adequate for my requirements. Excellent location for station and local restaurants, Sunday am market along railway line etc.
