Room, we specifically requested for twin room by email twice far advance before we checked in. But still, no twin room available unless we pay extra to upgraded our room type. We ended up paying extra as my aunt don’t want to share bed.

Also the lighting in the bathroom is very strange. It’s controlled under the Master button. It should be individual control. And it’s very dark in the bathtub area. This is my first time that no bathing salt was provided for the bathtub.

The shower room, after we took the shower, it has the water dripping sound long after we finished shower, it stopped only when the shower room floor is all dry.

All in all, very disappointing experience indeed.

The location is convenient as within 5 mins walk from the BTS Phloen Chit. There is a mini coffee and biscuits corner at Level 17 which we always drop by for our hot chocolate before bed. We will given THB700 and used it for room service. The thai fried rice is yummy with alot of crab meats. The Spa located in the hotel is good and at a good price. To note the spa charges cannot be charged to the room. We have requested for firmer pillow prior to arrival and were provided in our rooms. The only thing is the shower room which the floor is not correctly angle thus the water will not drained out and pooled till house keeping.

I have worked in several luxury hotels in Dallas, TX and so I have some experience in hospitality. I know what to look for. My guest and I were delighted from the moment we were greeted by the doormen. Everyone was very professional and hospitable. The breakfast was excellent, our room 2280 was most luxurious, the pool was perfect. I will return! Thank you Sivatel staff and thank you specifically to the 17th floor staff and the 8th floor staff and kitchen and the doormen on the first floor. Sivatel hospitality lives up to the Thai reputation. The general manager has an excellent staff.

Nice room but facilities shabbier than expected.

Very clean although some common areas of the hotel appear dated. I had no hot water for the shower, but the tub and sink were ok. Breakfast is not as comprehensive as other 5* hotels. Check in was somewhat slower than others, and little introduction to the facilities. Spa was under renovation so I only found that out walking there. Dining facilities seemed overall disappointing.

Prissy helped me save over 1000 baht by finding me a better deal for my ride to Pattaya when leaving, and even helped set up my ride later from Pattaya to the airport. I spent 4 nights at the Sivatel Bangkok for a quick city break vacation. The suites are quite spacious and immaculately clean. The infinity pool is a lovely place to unwind after a long day, and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful, with a wonderful level of service. The hotel is just a few quick steps from the Phloen Chit BTS station, and just a 15 minute walk from the nightlife districts of Soi 11 and around. If you're looking for an affordable, elegant hotel with a prime location, the Sivatel should be at the top of your list.

Great service, but it’s not a 5 star hotel.
We had a huge two bedroom suite. However it was oddly furnished. The living room had a dining table and no comfy chairs. The downstairs bedroom was not en-suite.
The large bedroom upstairs had 2 large king beds. There should had been a bedside between the 2 beds. There wasn’t, so there was no where to charge your phone or put any water.
The main downside was no door between the large walk-in wardrobe / dressing room and the bathroom.
The pool area was in the shade after 1pm and the gym equipment was old and tired.
The breakfast was just ok.
The location is great.

a short night stay

This hotel offered a generally pleasant experience, though it didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by our last stay eight years ago. We arrived around midnight, and despite the late hour, the staff was on duty and welcomed us warmly and professionally, which was a nice touch and made us feel immediately at ease.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. However, we encounter a minor issue with the bathtub drain, causing some water to spread across the bathroom floor. Thankfully, the front desk responded swiftly, sending two engineers who resolved the issue in about 20 minutes. The team’s quick response and eagerness to help were very reassuring, and we appreciated the effort, especially considering the late night.

Overall, while there was a small setback, the hotel still delivers good service and maintains a well-kept facility. I’d recommend for its attentive staff and comfortable accommodations.

I like the little touches in their hotel. The rest area on the 17th is very comfortable, the cookies are delicious, and the drinks are changed every day which is very considerate. I only found that there was a female lobby manager on the 17th who was not polite. Everytime we saw her and she didn't smile or say hello to us. She looks a bit disdainful.

Have been to Bangkok many times and stay at different hotels before. Sivatel hotel had addressed my concern. Because I need to going to Ching Mai in the middle days of my trip so was wondering where can I storage my baggage then I can make myself more easily to hop on/off in Ching Mai. Then I tried to contact Sivatel. They promptly replied me said I can storage my baggage at their hotel (even that still a few days before my check in day). Thus they sort my problem, really appreciate it. Thanks for the staff (a girl with very sunshine smile) who keep in touch with me.

However the breakfast is not much selection, luckily the service is excellent. The staff (called Jake) really helpful. He try his best to introduce those dipping and food to us. And he remembered what we like to dip and serve us every morning. We appreciate it.

The room is large and comfortable. Looks good. We like the bed and the pillows really soft. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

The only positive about this \"5 stats\" hotel is the size of the rooms with nice views, beside that you pretty much staying in 3 stars hotel. no Lobby, hotel is in an office building, below average food and breakfast, untrained staff, feels

Sivatel was a great first stay in Bangkok. It was close enough to the hustle and bustle, but shortly down a side street so was quiet. Next time I’d probably stay closer to the Siam Mall (25 min walk) since I spent the most time around that area, but for most it would be a very central location to go most places.

The room was nice and spacious with a living area and a king bed in the bedroom, and a walk in closet. Housekeeping was not as attentive to detail as we have had at other establishments, not scrubbing the toilet or wiping out the sink well each day. They did dry the shower well everyday. Dragon, the evening door man was awesome but everyone else was just ok, we had our laundry done twice with the day staff, neither time did they bring it up to our room, so we carried 10kg of laundry after a long day of sightseeing. (It’s ok, no tip was left because of this)

Breakfast: was definitely catered to westerners. There was a Thai dish and noodle option that rotated each day. Also an Indian option. A few dim sum options. The rest were regular western breakfast. The breakfast host was awesome and very kind. I can’t remember his name.

I would recommend this hotel, it was a central location and overall a good experience.

Love the room, veey big for a family of three, such a wonderful stay with the most welcoming staff, for breakfast I wished there was a better variety daily. Location is a little quiet with not many dining options nearby unless you are okay with restaurant food daily at Central Embassy. Other than that, we really had a most wonderful stay at Sivatel.

Excellent suite - very large and comfortable - pool area for afternoon sun was excellent with good gym. Staff are incredibly attentive and the Hotel is only a few mins walk to plonchit BTS - nothing much to do or see close to the property but BTS or taxi to Siam Paragon or Central World shopping centres have great variety and excellent eating options - it you can secure a suite this is a great Hotel to stay
