Its location is in a central area of Bangkok near a BTS. It is a 15 minute walk to Bumrangard Hospital. The rooms are completely renovated, very modern, and clean. The price is excellent.

Located on the main road, few minutes away from BTS station, room is clean and bed is comfy, staff are helpful and friendly, towel is a bit torn but it is acceptable to me, in general it is a good value choice, I will be back next time if I come to visit Bangkok again.

Dirty. The location is near the BTS station but the short walk is unpleasant. We had to walk on uneven ground, cross a railway line and the split road from and to a highway which is under some construction now. With our luggage, it is dangerous and difficult to walk.

An excellent choice when location and value are more crucial than luxury and recreational facilities. Very close to BTS and an easy walk to a variety of restaurants, bars and shopping. A 7/11 on site adds to the convenience factor. The rooms are very well kept and are of a generous size. Paying a little more per night for the superior type rooms takes away a little from the concerns of staying in a budget hotel. Overall, a good choice for the price.

Good value hotel in fab location if bars and restaurants are your thing. Nearby shopping malls are great if you have big money, ideal for UK Embassy if you have to go there which I did. Only downside was our room was at the end on Sukhumvit and traffic noise could be heard all night.

The breakfast area dirty and not much choice in foods. I ate another hotel breakfast. NO PARKING for CAR!!! They will say can park at hospital. Can for 1000 b ( about $33) per day. Found another parking across west side road (is a north south road) of hospital and a little north that Soi 1 (Sukhumvit 1 alley) NO PARKING at hotel!!! NO Parking!!! NO PARKING !!! NO PARKING !!!!!! NO PARKING !!!! NO PARKING !!!!! If have a car better go another hotel. Inconvenient to park car Legacy hotel

Good budget hotel, good value for money

The positives are: near BTS train station, therefore easy access to transportation; fast food restaurants and small shops around for basic meals; it's a quiet hotel with high WiFi speed and it's equipped with a decent size and speed elevator as well; very clean room; overall nice design for a hotel.

Good value for money, therefore a great budget hotel for travelers. Good for families with low budgets as well.

Kind staff, helpful, but a bit slow and they need to smile more.

The bad: the location is between two filthy very smelly areas (one around the bridge, the other is dirty eatery with smelly food and flies flying around it); at dark it gets a bit creepy trying to get home under the bridge; things in the room are a bit worn, need improvements or replacement.

1. All about room and clean
2. My Landry lost, they're outsourcing …and the service person just know nothing!
3. Mosquito all night
4. AC voice too noise, outside also.
5. I changed room, because first room was awful! But, I have a dirty bed sheet again after housekeeping came.

Comfortable room in amazing location

This hotel was lovely. My room was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with a kettle, coffee and tea, bottled water, a private safe, and plenty of towels. Both the air conditioning and the wifi worked very well. Housekeeping and front desk service were amazing.

The location is excellent-- it's literally a five-minute walk from a BTS (skytrain) station. The surrounding area is also great, with lots of restaurants, massage parlors, shops, and street food. The hotel also sits on top of a 7/11 and a Dominos, which is very convenient. However, the nightlife is definitely lacking in comparison to other areas of the city, especially Khao San Road.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Maybe not for the young backpacker looking for nightlife, but definitely a great location for a tourist looking to explore the city and take it easy in the evenings.

Not worth the money

From the street this Hotel looks new and inviting. The lobby was clean and well cared for. As soon as you're in the elevator the appearances changed quickly. The hallways, both walls and carpets were filthy. The rooms were old and well worn. The only furniture in the room was a disgustingly dirty chair. All the furniture cabinets in the room and bathroom were chipped and obviously run down. The morning breakfast was pathetic. 2 hot items, toast and eggs. The butter was floating in a bowl and people were using their hands to get the pieces. Coffee was instant, you made your own. The firstmorning we went to 7-11 for rolls and coffee, the second day, we ate breakfast at another hotel.

Nice Hotel to where you wanna go

Hotel is near to the BTS station, just less than 5 mins walk and you will find yourself at the doorstep

Below the hotel is a 7-11 store and Domino's where you do not have to worry about going hungry anytime

Beside the hotel is a market in the morning and hawker food in the evening... Seafood is cheap and affordable with all of us full to the brink

I stayed here many times and was satisfied earlier but unfortunately they are not maintaining it. My shower glass door was not installed in washroom, cupboard doors were hanging and there were constant issue of ants in washroom due to which i was not able to leave any cloths inside. Its a nice hotel at good location with nice staff but they are not maintaining it well.

I was very happy with my stay. The bed was big and comfy, water was hot, WiFi was fast, the location was nice (restaurants, shops, and BTS nearby), and the staff was nice.

The room could have used a fresh coat of paint, but for the price I cannot complain.

Spacious Room and Good Location

Room was spacious, even for three guests.
Location is good. There is a convenience store and a Dominoes Pizza just in front of the hotel lobby, and MacDonald's is just across the street. Phloen Chit BTS (metro station) is just 2 minutes walk away. There's also a market for local seafood just beside the hotel, an Indian / Middle Eastern food market and a Carls Junior few minutes due east of the hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel that is in the center of the city of bangkok then this is it. It fairly priced for a great location and is a goid but for your bucks. The hotels condition in exterior is run down, the elevator does not work but other than that everything is flawless. If you get a goid price then stay

Little reflection on description or photos.

The first room offered smelt of damp and was not as shown in the pictures. They did move us one floor up that was slightly better. The lift only accommodated only 2 people and 2 suitcases. I took the stairs and found blockage of bedding, towels. Vacuum and bed frame on the landings.
Had there been a fire. The lift cannot been used. The stair landings being blocked may have caused fatalities. Only good thing was location. It was between two MRTs

Staff were fantastic, close to BTS. Only issue was plywood wardroom. Doors didn't fit so lights were on in it all night. Downstairs was pizza place and convenience store which was good as well.Also plug for wifi would slip out sometimes

Overall great value hotel for the price!
Enjoyed our short stay at the Legacy Express Hotel. The hotel is in a great location and the closest BTS station is a one minute walk from the hotel allowing you to get around Bangkok.
The rooms are clean with lovely interior and nice bathrooms. Rooms and hotel had good wifi connectivity, along with free excess to the reception desktop computer allowing us to print our boarding passes online.
And last but not least the staff were great, helpful and very friendly.
Want to say a big thank you to the hotel staff, Biw, May and Tuk and the two security staff whose names have slipped my mind.
Thank you and would definitely book same hotel again when back in Bangkok.

Simple and cozy

The hotel itself was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and Wifi worked well. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. However, I felt like the hotel was in the middle a very busy road. It was not the best location but it was not difficult to get a cab. Traffic is horrendous in Bangkok so it took a while to get to the city center from this hotel.

The hotel is located at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 1 and is well connected to the city. Also close to Bumrungrad Hospital. It is a neat and clean hotel with peaceful environment. However, breakfast is very poor and there is no drop off area at the front of the hotel.

Had a good stay previously but this time the non-smoking room stank of cigarette smoke. Made the mistake of thinking it could clear out with the air conditioning on and the window open (and I was leaving early anyway). But that definitely didn't work. Had a billing issue on the previous stay but no issue this time.

This is a budget hotel in a prime location. It's location is the selling point. Walkable to many shops, nightlife etc and also very close to the Sky train station for getting a bit further. I would recommend if your budget stretches a bit, to not go for the starting price rooms but instead pay a little more for the next grade of rooms which are much nicer.

Took us a while to find this hotel, despite having a map given to us at the airport. This was our first time in Bangkok and the address wasn't clear. We asked a few taxi drivers and they were also unsure. In the end we got a map from another hostel and they showed us where to go. There was a 1000baht deposit to give at check in that we hadn't read about.
The air con in our room wasn't working at first but the service was so quick is was up and running again within 10 minutes which was greatly appreciated! There is metro links within a couple of minutes walk and a 7-11 right next door.
Not much character to the hotel but this wasn't what we were going for so wasn't a problem. We wanted a basic place that was a good place to rest after being out all day and it ticked all the boxes.
