A double bed is 2 beds joined together, one bed the springs gone, very uncomfortable. The toilet flushed continuously we did tell the manager nothing was done, sound was very annoying at night since headboard on same wall as bathroom.
Cleaning was poor or non existent just depended on whether they felt like cleaning our bedsheets not changed for 7 nights had to ask for toilet paper this was not replaced.
I would have gone elsewhere but had a non cancelable room , definately not 3 stars 1 star worst i have stayed in breakfast was substandard.we payed £588 for 7 nights

bathroom only cleaned all 2 days, fresh towels twice, room never completely cleaned, matresses old and worn out,
good location, if the hotel was not surrounded by construction sites, reception staff try to help, but do not know even the basic informations, breakfast is a joke

very close to busy bars and restaurants but room was pretty quiet. Decor very outdated and bland but clean, so can't complain. staff friendly and 24 hr check in was handy as I rolled in at about 3am.

Beautiful place if you can find it

The hotel itself is great, the room very comfortable, breakfast sumptuous. However, don't count on getting picked up from the airport (I was not) and taxidriver had a hard time finding it.

It's an old small hotel, freeze old small rooms, bad bofet breakfast, the only good thing is the location, I paid 136 Euro for a 3 night stay, a lot of my friends told me that I could had a better hotel for a lower price

Good value for money, excellent location, good bus routes to cover the island. Hotel staff very helpful and a nice breakfast each morning. Only issue was the creaking bed.

Comfortable large room in convenient location close to restaurants, cafes, nightlife, beaches and public transport to explore other areas on the island. Neighbourhood is a little noisy at night due to some local bars popular with students. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the roof-top pool was closed/drained but I believe this is common outside the peak summer period. WIFI was free but unreliable at times. We really enjoyed our stay here. Absolutely loved Malta and would happily stay here again.

We stayed two weeks at the Allegro and found it to be an excellent location to tour Malta. The hotel is undergoing renovations to upgrade rooms and reception area but the activity did not effect our stay. Our room, 305 had a new bathroom and fresh décor. The bed was comfortable. Our only request is that padding be placed under furniture. It seems many people have early flights and the sound of furniture scraping on the tile floor in the middle of the night was very loud and disruptive. The roof top deck and pool where not yet open for the season so we can not comment on that area.
The breakfast room was bright and served choices of meats, cheeses, breads, cereal and yogurt, as well as apples and oranges. The coffee machine offered several beverage choices but if you enjoy your coffee perhaps waiting until you find a local café would suit you better for flavour.
The staff at the Allegro were welcoming and helpful, which always adds great value to a stay at a hotel. It's location just off the main street allows for a comfortable and quitter stay than the active restaurant and bar areas nearby.

some great rooms, some very poor

arrived here, checked in to a dingy poor condition room, with tiny insects in the beds.

staff were understanding, very supportive when we showed them, moved us to a hugely better room on the same night and continued to offer friendly and helpful service throughout the stay.

was very grateful for the good staff, but the first room was really bad. 1/5

second room was clean, well lit, modern, absolute fine, and good for the price. 5/5

Final score 3/5

The hotel appears to be in the process of renovating the rooms. Hopefully this will cover all rooms and there will be no bad ones remaining.

Very Pleasant Stay

Hotel and our room was attractive, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Numerous places for food and drink were nearby, location was in an area for partying, but noise did not disturb us. The bus stop was within a short walk with many buses available making it convenient to visit other areas. Breakfast was included, and a rooftop pool was available.

The staff was super kind and available for any need but the structure was not very clean and was a bit uncomfortable. However, if you are young, wild and free you can easily adapt.
Don't forget to bring along the adaptator if you are Italian!

- Personnel peu aimable, hormis la jeune femme blonde à l'accueil ainsi que les jeunes femmes s'occupant du petit-déjeuner qui étaient gentilles et serviables.
- Ma chambre n'a carrément pas été faite et le personnel de chambre a fait semblant de l'avoir faite en repliant une serviette! Incroyable!
- le verrouillage des portes est compliqué et archaïque
- la TV fonctionne très mal
- c'est extrêmement bruyant, que ce soit dehors ou même à l'intérieur même de l'hôtel. Mieux vaut avoir le sommeil lourd.
- Le petit déjeuner est bien avec à la fois du sucré et du salé
- Proximité avec les transports, l'arrêt de bus est en bas de la rue avec plusieurs lignes menant à La Valette et à Sliema pour le ferry.
- Inviter quelqu'un même pour 1h ou 2 vous coûtera 25€ (un peu abusé, étant donné qu'ils ne font pas leur boulot correctement).

ホテルまでの道のりは、思っていたよりも細くて人通りが少なく、夜の一人歩きは少し怖かったです。
受付の方や清掃のおばちゃんは優しく、親切でした。
部屋は清潔で、シャワールームも少し狭いですが問題なく使えました！
シャンプーやボディーソープは無いので持参してください。
また、エレベーターがないので荷物を上階に運ぶ、下に下ろすというのが少し大変でした。
一番良かったのは朝食で、クロワッサンが絶品でした。
飲み物の種類も豊富でとても満足できました。
全部含めて、3.5〜4くらいの評価です。
ありがとうございました。

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal pour pouvoir sortir le soir,
proche des restaurants pubs et activités nocturnes mais pas trop ce qui permet de se reposer en silence.
Le seul couac ce sont les travaux, beaucoup d'immeubles se montent.
Donc un qui est accolé à l'hôtel !
Du coup on est réveillé à 6h50 (même le dimanche!) par les coups de marteaux mais aussi par des marteaux piqueurs ! heureusement que j'avais prévu les bouchons antibruit pour dormir.
Le wifi fonctionne relativement bien par contre la réception TV est d'un autre âge.
Peu de chaînes et d'une qualité médiocre avec des langues russes et allemandes.
Elle a été inutilisable même en faisant des recherches de nouveaux canaux.
Le petit déjeuner est correcte.

Die Matratzen waren so dünn, man hat das Holzbrett darunter gespürt. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, jedoch wurde das Zimmer nur alle 2 Tage gereinigt. Das Frühstück war immer für einen Lacher gut. Die Hälfte der Zeit war das WLAN unbenutzbar.

Aspect global: Hôtel un peu vieillot qui aurait besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement
Personnel de l'hôtel: Réceptionnistes blasés (sauf une le matin), le technicien de maintenance aigri en 10 jours n'a jamais répondu à un \"Hello\", femmes de chambre souriantes
Hygiène: Ménage proposé quotidiennement, malheureusement le balai et les poussières ne sont jamais faites pareil pour la douche
Services proposés: Petit déjeuner MÉDIOCRE bien qu'il soit offert, la piscine pas nettoyée et minuscule digne d'une pataugeoire , la Wi-fi fonctionne une fois sur mille !

Hotelli sijaitsi sivukadulla, joten melu ei kantautunut sinne eikä naapurihuoneista kuulunut ääniä. Palvelut ja bussipysäkki sijaitsivat lähellä. Huone oli siisti ja henkilökunta mukavaa. Huoneissa oli saatavilla ilmainen wi-fi, joka toimi hyvin. Hyvä majoituskohde lapsen kanssa.

AC was not working

I stayed at this Ahotel of one night before going to to a 5star hotel. Tänk god I didn't stay longer. I don't know if it says that it is a 3star hotel but it felt like 1star. The air-conditioning was not working. The bed was horible and the bedskits had a bit of blod on them.

settimana rovente ma bella a Malta

Sono stata in questo hotel una settimana dal 28 luglio al 04/08 con mio figlio per una vacanza. La posizione è buona soprattutto per chi la sera non vuole perdere i divertimenti che offrono Peaceville e Saint Julian anche se a volte la posizione può portare qualche fastidio per il rumore fino alla sera tardi. Era molto caldo ma in camera c'erano ventola e aria condizionata. Buona la pulizia con cambio ogni giorno degli asciugamani, pulizia del bagno e camera, rifacimento letti. Buona la colazione soprattutto per dolci e ottimo lo yogurt, meno buona la parte salata. Gentile e disponibile il personale. Se mio figlio tornerà per l'inglese questa potrebbe essere una buona sistemazione! Poi Malta è molto bella e con tante cose da fare e vedere!

Stanze pulite ma spartane. Il bagno è piccolo e avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturata. Colazione buona ma bisogna andare presto perché non rimettono le cose che finiscono. La posizione è ottima perché si trova nella zona dei locali ma in una stradina laterale e non si sentono rumori. Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile.

Dessvärre iskallt på rummet, trots att vi bad om och fick ett extra element. Sov med flera täcken och pyjamas - men blev ändå inte varm.

Städpersonalen glömde låsa rummet efter sig vid ett tillfälle.

God service från personalen, såsom tidig frukost vid behov och hjälp med lån av dator.

Bra område med nära till bussar och strandpromenad!
