We had a wonderful stay in one of the alpine suites to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. Our room had the most wonderful views, which took our breath away each morning. Highly recommend the Italian restaurant in the hotel, we had a fabulous dinner here whilst staying. The walk across the frozen lake into St.Moritz was lengthy but beautiful views, would recommend if you are fit enough!

A perfect skiing vacation

We have been visiting Nira Alpina for many years and it is always the perfect ski vacation. Great facilities, ski room, fast internet, discounted lift tickets, free shuttle from the train, bus to other mountains at the property, ski-in/ski-out, free breakfast buffet and spa with incredibly helpful staff.

Great stay at Nira

Fantastic cute hotel, nestled into the mountain side with great views over the valley. The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooftop bar just great.

A special place...

Beautiful hotel in beautiful Silvaplana, very clean and the most amazing caring staff. The service is top 5 star, every person working there makes the stay of every guest very special, the room are impeccable and sparkly clean. The breakfast buffet had a good choice with as well a menu to order from, again really nice friendly and attentive staff, Fernando and his colleague are the most friendly and speak many languages. We booked childcare trough the hotel for our daughter was too young to ski, she was very well looked after by Evi and Sara. It feels very much like a home away from home. It’s a cool place for young couple, with a cool top floor bar and the amazing mountain view but also a good place for family, really nice kids club and everything is walking distance. It’s also a nice place for someone who just want to relax, ski or not ski, mediate, resource and relax. The spa is great offering some a good range of treatments. Can’t recommend it enough, it has the glitz of St Moritz, high end features but the quiet relax atmosphere low key that we always look for. The hotel manager Claudia is available and as caring as her team. We will definitely return as wasn’t our first visit. A special place

Can’t wait to come back

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The room, the view, the service...everything was impeccable. The pictures don’t even do it justice. I highly recommend skipping any hotel in St. Mortiz and booking this hotel instead. There is even a free bus into town.

Nice hotel but nothing special. Friendly staff. Location is not very convenient to get to st Moritz in the evening. The Mountain view room did not really have a view on the mountain.

Nice hotel next to ski lift

Courtesy minibus 15 mins ride from St Moritz station. You have a wonderful modern medium sized hotel with spa, gym, sauna and massages. Restaurant needs to be pre-booked, but food is served in the bar, if you’re too late. Gondola for Corvatch is accessed via covered walkway from hotel and adjacent to baby button lift. So it’s literally ski-in for everyone. Route buses take about 15 mins to St Moritz village and to the Corviglia slopes. And the views are breathtaking!

We stayed 3 nights and it was absolutely perfect. Great suite , super friendly people, and awesome breakfast and food. Location could not have been better. We loved the bar. We also has a spa treatment and a whiskey tasting - so much fun. This hotel represents perfection on every level ... we'll for sure come back.

Excellent short stay

My wife and I had a short stay here for skiing at the end of March. We found almost everything exceeded our expectations.
- The hotel is in an excellent location directly at the bottom of the Corvatsch ski area. The parking was easy to find.
- Check-in and assistance with booking for dinner and organising ski-passes was straightforward.
- The hotel bar has excellent views.
- We had a Corvatsch room (I think their cheapest category) which was still spacious, and had a balcony and a bath.
- Our evening meal in the restaurant (from the a la carte menu) was very good.
- The breakfast is amongst the best I have had in a hotel. Freshly made eggs were available, real orange juice, good quality meat and local cheese.
- All members of staff we spoke to went out of their way to be helpful.

Two small minor improvements:
- The spa was rather noisy, due to the whirlpool.
- Instant coffee in the rooms is not really acceptable in a hotel of this standard.

Overall an excellent stay and we would willingly return.

Nice hotel, not so location

A bit too far from all the action in St Moritz (not that there is a lot of action), it is a nice hotel and staff were great and very accommodating, but going back and forth to the city was a pain. Taxi is 35 Frank each way with their special discount. I say stay in St Moritz. They have shuttles but not to the city. A nice place but don't recommend it sorry

Absolutely wonderful holiday

We have travelled through Europe for the past 4 weeks and stayed in some pretty impressive big name hotels along the way, but nothing compared to this.

The staff are brilliant. They went out of their way to make our time at Nira Alpina the best possible, from the moment we met the lovely gentleman at the train station for our transfer to the moment we were dropped off at the station to go home. They really looked after us well!

The hotel is in a great location and has great facilities. It is comfortable and clean. The views from both our room and other parts of the hotel were beautiful. We loved our time on the slopes and the convince of skiing to the door of our accommodation. The spa was a fantastic way to end the day.

We were sad to leave Nira Alpina. We actually tried to extend our trip a few month ago but it was booked. We wished we had initially booked for longer!! It was one of our most favoured parts of our journey throughout Europe. We hope to return again, although Australia is such a long way and we aren't sure when we will make it back. Until then, we will hold onto our very fond memories.

Thank you for making our holiday so incredible.

Best hotel experience in Switzerland & N. Italy

Our stay at Nira Alpina was certainly the best of our whole trip in Switzerland & the Lake Como region of Italy.
The rooms were fantastic - modern/Swiss with fantastic views. The desk staff was very welcoming upon our arrival and then to our surprise, the remaining staff - whether in the restaurant, bar, or even the cleaning staff, were friendly and caring.
Unfortunately for us, our stay at Nira Alpina spoiled us because the 2 remaining places we stayed in Switzerland (high peak region & also Luzerne) & 1 in Varenna (Italy's Lake Como) never even came close in terms of accommodations nor in terms of staff friendliness.
Certainly rate Nira Alpina the highest marks in all categories and would personally recommend them if needed.

Amazing hotel! Front desk staff was very friendly and the rooms were top of the line. Best thing is you can get to the Corvatsch Bahl from the hotel elevators! Downside is that there isn't much around the hotel except for lifts. Will stay here again for sure!

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location

This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms and facilities are excellent (although they were having a problem with their hotel internet while we were there, so we couldn't access wifi, which was why we didn't give facilities a 5), and the setting is beautiful. The included breakfast buffet was sumptuous.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. And I travel a lot around the world. The hotel is newly built, very well equipped, rooms are spacious and a very good view. The best part of the hotel is the extremely friendly staff be it the driver who picked us up from the station or the front desk or the staff in the hotel restaurant. The complimentary pick-up from St. Moritz train station is icing on the cake.

Secluded And Worth It

This hotel was the highlight of our fall driving trip. I loved the modern mountain lodge decor and the overall attention to detail. The hotel is new and successully creates a soothing sophisticated atmosphere. It is located up on a hill in a small town next to a lift several minutes drive from St. Moritz. If you want a secluded spot with a view this is the place. An added bonus was the free use of the spa. Great steam, sauna, and relaxing facilities. Most unique soaking pool I have seen. Great bar lounge with view. Upscale restaurant with prices to match. Better than normal breakfast buffet. Pay parking in underground garage. Not too much else in the area.

Fabulous hotel and views

The hotel is situated at the top of the village attached to the cable car so perfect for a ski vacation but also fabulous for getting up the mountain for walking. Everything about the hotel is superb and the views are to die for. Also to die for are the meals at the hotel next door but not in a good way. Avoid this restaurant at all costs.

Von A bis Z war alles bestens. Vom reichhaltigen Frühstück bis zum sehr leckeren Abendessen hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Zugang auf die Skipiste war durch die Galerie ein paar Schritte entfernt.

Hotellet er gennemført flot m, værelser, restaurant, bar og spa er flot
Men service oplevelsen stikker i alle retninger.
Direktøren er god til st komme rundt og snakke
Bartenderne er langsomme, de ser travle ud, men det er svært at få lov til at bestille, og det tager ofte 10-15 min før din drink kommer (der var samlet 4 gæster i baren)
Receptionisterne er søde, men 2/4 var uvidende.
Morgenmads buffeten var lækker.
Men igen var betjeningen langsom og mangelfuld
Så alt i alt et dejligt sted, men hav god tålmodighed.

Wunderbare Auszeit im Berghotel

Unser Aufenthalt im Nira Alpina war wunderbar: Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne und saubere Zimmer, Restaurant mit feinem Essen, toller Ausblick vom Restaurant und dem Zimmer. Wir haben beim Einchecken erfreulicherweise ein Upgrade erhalten. Die Lage gleich bei der Seilbahn Corvatsch war sehr praktisch. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Beim Auschecken wurden 18.-/Tag für die Garage berechnet. Dies wurde bei Ankunft und auf Hotels.com nicht erwähnt.

Suiten schlecht isoliert, ansonsten gut

Getrampel (Skigäste; Kinder im Restaurant ) morgens und am nachmittags sehr gut hör- (Lärm) und spürbar (Vibrationen). Suchst du Ruhe, dann geh woanders hin. Wie halt überall. Trotzdem - für fast 1000.- pro Nacht darf man mehr erwarten.
Ansonsten Lage, Ausstattung und Essen einwandfrei.

Es hat wirklich alles gepasst

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals / Service ist unübertroffen. Es sind sehr schöne Chalet mässige Zimmer mit viel Massivholzmöbeln und schöner Aussicht. Sauberkeit top. Bett sehr bequem. Restaurant Stars auch sehr zu empfehlen für Dinner und Frühstück. Perfekt für Ski Urlaub (Anfängerpiste, Lift auf Corvatsch für Fortgeschrittene, Skiverleih alles direkt vor der Türe). Auto kann direkt in der Tiefgarage vom Hotel parkiert werden.
