The Swiss Quality Hotel Hauser is in the heart of St. Moritz.

The hotel has been run by the Hauser family since 1955, and became famous through its fine homemade confectionary and desserts, and not least through its Engadine Nusstorte (nut and caramel pie), available from the hotel shop. To add to the culinary delights, the Hotel Hauser has a restaurant with terrace on the ground floor, where Australian cuisine is one of the many specialities served alongside regional and national dishes.

Stay minimum 2 nights in our hotel and you will get the ticket to all cable cars in the Engadine for free. *The restaurant will be closed from 19th October to 27th November 2015.

Room was spotless, staff were very helpful and breakfast was amazing! Beds were very comfortable and location was excellent - right near the center of town and the funicular up the mountain! Only downside for us where the rooms were super hot and only opening the window cooled things down (we turned down the radiator as far as it would go). But that meant some noise at night from the old late partier or snow ploughs etc. But definitely would return.

This was by far the highlight of our trip. The gentleman that greeted us at the front desk was so kind, warm, positive and inviting. We wish we stayed longer just to be in such an inviting atmosphere. We really needed that positivity with how all other plans were turning out. We really appreciated the hospitality, the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, food was good, location was ideal. Overall stay 12/10. We hope to be back!

Location is amazing and in the heart of st moritz and the hotel was clean with comfortable beds.
The fact they have a restaurant was a plus as it made our stay with a kid so much easier.
For breakfast pretty much everything they had was sourced locally.
The desserts at their patisserie were really good!

Nice location, very close to the main shopping street, and can easily walk to all the restaurants we booked. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They arranged the shuttle to the train station. On the glacier express train, when my daughter realized she left her jacket in the hotel and called them, they checked quickly and mailed the jacket to the next hotel we were staying. Overall a very pleasant experience with this hotel and we will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Great location. Lively vibe in the evenings with music we enjoyed under the hotel at Roo bar, which closes at 9pm so quiet after. Very clean and spacious. Very convenient with super market around the corner. Loved all the local wood furnishings. Hauser restaurant was very good, enjoyed the hot stone dinner, cooking meats at the the table. Only things missing were cofee maker, fridge, a fan & air control. Its a good thing i travel with a travel fan which was a lifesaver. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the vibe.

Hauser hotel is a very convenient location next to the funicular to the Corviglia ski area. The rooms and amenities are basic however they are clean and comfortable, and the price is reasonable. Staff at Hauser are all nice and helpful. I also thought the breakfast buffet was quite good.
I recommend Hauser Hotel but please note: I booked with Expedia and received a confirmation number. However, several days after my booking - the hotel sends follow email requiring guests to submit a deposit to secure the reservation. I did not receive these emails within the time set and my reservation was cancelled. Fortunately I was able to rebook the last room however for 1 night less than I needed, so that was a stressful and inconvenient situation. Usually a credit card is required to book accommodation on Expedia to guarantee the room after the last date to cancel. As such, it was unexpected that rue hotel would send a separate email asking for a deposit payment. I think management should revisit this policy. Otherwise a good stay.

Our stay was fabulous. Room was comfortable with all the basic necessities. In the middle of everything. The restaurant downstairs is good. The buffet breakfast was great and the older lady that was our waitress was the sweetest!!!! The view from the rooms (we had 2 rooms) was spectacular. I will confess, my absolute favorite part was the Roo Bar. The music, the ambience, the people, bartender, was so much fun. It was the perfect little get away from the kids. The most perfect way for parents to enjoy drinks while snow is falling. Simply magical. Already planning another trip to this MAGICAL town, and we will definitively stay at this hotel again.

This is a nice hotel. I was surprised there was only one choice of pillow, a duvet only with no top sheet, one bottle of body wash/shampoo combination in the shower; just missing extra perks/considerations found in other hotels of comparable price. An outside bar right below our window was fun to see and definitely hear. Skiers were chatting and drinking, having a good time. It was fun at first to witness, but the loud, repetitive pulsing techo-beat was tiresome after a while. It did stop at 9pm, so we didn't have to use the courtesy ear plugs provided.

Great stay at the Hauser!

The Hauser is a great option for enjoying St. Moritz without spending thousands a night like you could at the Palace or Kulm. The service is top notch as is the location to the mountain. Benedict especially was a huge help the whole way and the staff at the Hauser made my experience top-notch. My only small comment was the design of the showers and water escaping. Space is very valuable in a town like st. moritz and overall, the rooms are designed to give you the guest maximum comfort in the limited space provided. Would highly recommend. The free breakfast is excellent and they also offer hot items for reasonable prices (i.e. omelettes).

The room was very hot with no option to turn off the heat in the bathroom so we slept with the window open, losing lots of energy.

Very nice hotel close to everything, The staff was very helpful. Good breakfast and a nice restaurant on the first floor of the property. The small size of the room and has no air conditioning but for us the weather was nice, so it does not matter. Good place to stay 👍

We booked 2 single rooms at the Hauser in May23 for 1 night.
Rooms: The 2 single rooms' size were good. Thanks to the hotel, we were delighted when we found out that our rooms were next to each other on the top floor, it was quiet & the sleeping quality was great. Inside the rooms, I liked the TVs, which were direction adjustable & have YouTube!
As for the rest of the room, everything was basic & looked like from the 90s. The bathrooms were a bit aged (very white), but at least it's clean. The shower door wasn't wide enough, so all water would spread out on the floor regardless of how careful we were. One of the bathrooms was quite tiny - you had to shut the bathroom door in order to use the basin. It's worth mentioning that there's no minibar or kettle in the room & the room keys were not the usual electric cards.
Location: It's about a good 12 to 15 mins walk from St Moritz station, but you'd have to know where to go, i.e. it's easier to walk through the car park & take the escalators. Good location, Coop is also just 2-3 mins walk from the hotel.
Service: The lady at the reception was very welcoming, friendly, helpful & cheerful. The hotel granted our requests to allocate 2 rooms on the top floor together, in a corner by ourselves, which we felt very grateful for. Staffs throughout the hotel were very friendly too!
Breakfast: Continental breakfast buffet style. Foods refilled quickly, but with limited choices & the breakfast was actually very average.

Could help us on transportation

We requested information about the transfer from the train station 24 hrs ahead and if possible a pick up from the station , we had no answer at all and had to pay the taxi $20 euros for a exact 3 mins drive
The challenge is to walk to the hotel is uphill one mile or so ( they say 15 mins walk) but very step and impossible with luggages.
They had their van parked outside but we also saw other guests arriving on taxi. Why not really help your customers and pick them up?
The hotel was not full and not super busy.
The second dissatisfaction was that we were in town on a Sunday and just not stores were closed but every business including restaurants were closed. 🙄 The front desk did not tell us that upfront and we walked to town to find everything deserted
The hotel restaurant was open and we had a good meal there, but they could have saved our money for the taxi and our time on the Sunday afternoon

A jewel in the middle of St. Moritz

Loved the little touches and warm reception.
Staff were extremely helpful with everything from late checkout request to complimentary shuttle service.
Wonderful bar lounge, konditori and by far the best breakfast ever featuring a fine selection of their own
homemade specialties. Hope to return someday!

Superb place to stay in St Moritz!

Amazing room and property in a great location, hassle free transfer both too and from the hotel with our luggage, helpful friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble, we had a fantastic evening meal in the restaurant and the breakfast included in our Tariff was superb. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this property highly.

We arrived at 9.30 pm after not so comfortable driving in the dark in a winding n hilly roads. The hotel was dark, the reception was closed!! We did not received any email from neither hitel.com nor the hitel itself that the reception would be close at a certain hour and that we should collect the key in the next door hotel reception.
Fortunately we read in the email that we received for a 24hts emergency call. Fortunately we had one local sim card. Fortunately someone picked up the phone at 10.30 pm!

I really feel that if the reception is closed at a certain time, we should be informed. It was a terrible experience. .

The room itself was quite clean.
