I would have liked to have given this a better review....but alas... no. The room was a great size but not clean. The balcony was amazing! However, there was an attic storage room attached to my room where the door was unlocked. It went into other areas etc... I did not enter in....but it appeared to have access to other rooms....had christmas storage ... parts of the walls torn off. If it were not attached to my room, I might have slept better. The breakfast buffett was terrible! There were a lot of people, it took forever even to get coffee! and the food was sparce. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Out of our many weeks of European travel and most of our rooms booked off of Expedia, this is the only place I would say to stay away from!

Great reception, friendly staff. This hotel is geared up for winter stays. We had their basic room and it was quite cramped for ~350CAD a night in August. We know AC is not a thing in Switzerland but it really was too warm even in common areas. Wall pkugs are oddly positioned with no usb plug ins. There is a lake view about 12 mins walk away but taxis are 20€ pretty much to go anywhere. I would add though that our taxi driver Mateo was wonderful +31206621402 offering a reliable, flexible service!

Cramped rooms, uncomfortably hot

The rooms were extremely small, literally a hole in the wall. The bathrooms were almost a part of the bed room, a barely closing sliding door separating them from the beds and so small that it was very difficult to use the washbasin for brushing , shaving etc. The room was very hot and although it was 45 F outside it felt 80 F inside. Unable to switch off the low heat that continued to emit from the heater. We were told to keep the windows open. The restaurant was heavily touted but we were told when we went for dinner, it was catering to a party of 40 so unavailable- it would have been nice if we were told at the time of check in. On the positive side, the reception staff were very cordial and eager to help. Bottom line: a very poor deal for the price we paid.

Nice hotel in St Moritz Bad (downtown). 25 minute walk from the train station and main centre but beside the Signal Gondola. Hotel was nice and staff were friend but it was a little dated. Rooms were comfortable but got very warm at night and only way to cool down was to open windows. Stayed in four hotels in Switzerland and this one we felt was the least value for money

Not Nolda's fault, Nolda is just Nolda. But the pictures were taken by Dumbeldore himself as SIGNIFICANT magic must have been involved.

Loud. You could hear conversations from other rooms while in-bed. It was far too expensive for what it was.

Right next to bubble lift to mid-mountain. Got great advice from front desk to go to Salstrains restaurant, but this is FAR from the main events. TOO FAR from city centre unless you are just there to ski. The layout of the city makes city centre essential IMO. The walking from Nolda was too much. it IS close to train station.

A Classic Swiss Chalet RIGHT NEXT TO THE SKI TRAM! Super Convenient for Ski Out & Ski In, I was able to ski right into the parking Lot. The Restaurant was Very Good and there were other Dining Options in the area including the 5 Star Hotel Kempinski across the street. But the Main Dining and Entertainment was in Dorf, a 20-minute walk or take the Bus.

Fantastic stay at Hotel Nolda! The location is unbeatable—right next to the Signal gondola, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The food was absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend opting for the half-board option or at least trying dinner for one night. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional staff. Excellent location! I can’t describe it enough. Across the street from the Ski lift. The bus to get into town is a 1 minute walk. We traveled into town very easily. Took the 601 bus that drops you right into the center. I don’t recommend taking your skis from home since you can rent at the lift.

The hotel was well situated by the river and bus stops are walking distance.
Lovely exterior, with flowers on windows.
Rooms are spacious enough for 4 of us.
We added breakfast and dinner at the hotel, both of them were excellent (breakfast: freshly baked bread and pastries, good selections of cheeses, they make good coffee too. Dinner: prefix 3-course, good portion of appetizers, main course with local fresh ingredients, and delicious deserts) and convenient for us. Waiters and Front desk staffs were friendly and very helpful.
Our stay came with visitors card, we enjoyed free rides of buses and cable cars. No need to buy tickets at each ride was Very convenient.

Cons:
Bathroom hot water was too slow to fill the tub, water pressure was not as strong as other hotels we stayed in Switzerland.
No fan or window in bathroom, so it can be steamy hot after someone takes a hot shower. The Doors was a little dangerous, it was hard to close, also it can hit other door when someone opens bedroom doors at same time.

Wonderful hotel to stay at in St. Moritz. It is on the edge of the city, but honestly the city is not that big. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station (or you could take the public bus). The staff were very friendly. The hotel restaurant was very good, although the \"dinner\" times were a bit confusing. Dinner goes from 7-9pm. But we couldnt figure out if we were supposed to be at the table at 7 or could arrive later. The town is quiet in the summer and dining options were not abundant. The room was large and clean. We had a great view of the mountains and hillside. If staying here in the winter time, you could easily ski in/out from the hotel.

Very Happy at Nolda

Excellent choice for a ski holiday. Gondola and ski rental is a 2 min walk from hotel. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Feels like a well managed, family-run hotel. Breakfast exceeded my expectations and the restaurant staff were kind and efficient. Dinner was delicious. Hotel is a lovingly cared for, older (part of the charm), European 3 star hotel. St Moritz is expensive. Great choice if you’re not chasing the glitz dragon. We were very impressed with how well planned of our relatively small room was -- there was ample storage, a logical place for charging devices, a comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly.

The place is old but clean. The shower is the smallest shower stall ever, you barely get in and lifting your arms and turning is very uncomfortable. The staff are pleasant enough. Pass-on on the extra cost breakfast is absolute the barest ever, nothing warm, just cheese, meats and cereal. The room was small, TV small too. It is in the far end of the lake, but walkable to the main town.

We booked a quadruple room. The room had one window which one could open the bunk bed is blocked away from window by a bid armoire. There is no AC and no fans. If you are coming in with extended family and booking this type of room please stay away. I asked for the fan and I was told about the altitude of the town it sits on that point I wondered why does my Duluth hotels have AC or fans. Either way stay clear from this hotel unless u want to spend a night with window open.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by all the members of the staff. Everyone was so friendly. Eliza was very helpful with directing us on where to go and things to do. The wait staff were friendly and happy. The hotel was charming with a mix of traditional and new. The room was impeccable and clean. We had a beautiful view of the river and mountains right outside our window. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The whole experience was perfect and the kindness of the staff made it even better.

PERFECT place to lay your head...we rode the train in from Zermatt and took the city bus to the hotel with a VERY SHORT WALK to the hotel...and then back to the train station the next morning. I definitely recommend as it is extremely close to the gondola as well for an overview of the mountains that we will have to do next time.

This is a traditional hotel that is very picturesque on the outside with traditional features inside. Some fittings were a little tired and could do from modernisation. There was no kettle in the room. Cleaning was good. Breakfast was adequate. This hotel so right beside a cable car and near a bus stop with regular buses.
