Not as clean as I would like. Had the amenities they published. Wish I knew that they house a significant of homeless. Not a problem as such but to enter the building you have to go through the group of smokers. Since I don't smoke it does smell.

I the staff was great and very helpful. The only problem I had was in my first night we found 2 roaches in the bathroom before bed. There was a sticky substance on the carpet by the bathroom and the beds were hard. The sofa bed was partly damaged so was not every comfortable to sleep on.

The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was very creative and pretty good. Staff was great. I have to say the environment was strange. They are running a re-homing step up situation for many people which I applaud but made for an uninviting atmoshere. There is a security guard outside at night with many people hanging around the parking lot and the grounds. I didn't feel as comfortable as I would have liked coming in after dark. I feel like this is something that should be mentioned from the start.

The staff steals while you are away. First night I put food in the fridge went to work came back my food was gone and my drink was half drank and put back in the fridge. Second night put only drinks I the fudge and a KitKat and it happened again. Obviously I’m glad I didn’t leave anything valuable in the room. Worker at desk said he would ask the cleaners, what is that going to accomplish. Would never recommend this hotel.

Overall the decor needs to be updated. And the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. The hallways were full of smoke. Everyone was fine and it didn’t take very long. I am guessing it was an electrical fire or something like that. The staff didn’t even mention it when I checked out the next day. Definitely the worst place I stayed in.

They REALLY could do better with the rooms. My friends room had a dead roach, rust stained tub, and a faucet handle that broke off. The parking lot and area surrounding the hotel was shady. Too many druggies roaming around looking for a fix. Would not come back until things change.

Not The Hilton, But a Good Hotel

The first room they assigned us to was musty and damp smelling. I asked for a room change and they accommodated us right away. Front desk associates were pleasant. Had to ask for more towels every day as there were four of us staying and they only gave us two towels. Everyone on site was very friendly and anything we requested we were given immediately. They have a great breakfast selection and everyone serving in the breakfast area was very friendly. Overall, it was a good stay. I wouldn’t rate it 5 stars, but we would stay there again.

It is suppose to be a non-smoking hotel. The hall way and our room reeked of smoke all night neither of us could sleep we were sick from the smoke. I did complain. There were cigarette burn on the top blanket. The bathroom was dirty and the sink not on wall very well. We have stayed there in past and were shocked by the state of the hotel. There was also only one set of towels in bathroom for two people had to ask for another.

Stayed here during our trip to Salem. Besides never being able to find someone at the front desk, the staff was nice and the continental breakfast was good. The room seemed clean, but there was a plastic bag over the sprinkler in the bathroom. Overall I am pleased with my stay here as an affordable option in a reasonably distanced town to Salem.

Decent place but very aged, and not gracefully. The tissue holder in the bathroom was rusted, there were places where the wallpaper was peeling from the wall, the furniture reminded me of my great grandmother's (i.e. the pieces were \"antiques\") and we didn't even try to use the shower..
But everything appeared to be clean, if not well-kept.

Had a bad feeling when pulled up to this hotel. The trash can was over filled with garbage around it. There were several people (with a dog) just hanging out in the front. Our room was on first floor - through an additional door. All night heard that door slamming. Our tub was cast iron with rusted chips on it. Ceiling had black lines on it (mold???). Would not recommend

Terrible hotel, in terrible shape. Supposed to be a non smoking hotel and it smelled heavily of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Hundreds of cigarette butts outside my room windows(see photo). Evidently people live at the hotel through some program and cant be held accountable or kicked out. Not worth the money, stay at the Marriot Courtyard instead.

This property had a pretty high rating overall and did not completely live up to the standard I had in mind. There were some questionable individuals loitering outside of the front door 3 out of the 4 times I had to leave. The TV in my original room did not work, so one of the front desk staff was kind enough to move me to another room. In the second room, the deadbolt lock did not work, so I felt a bit unsafe.

Was not what we expected. Pictures showed the type of room had a table and two chairs but only had a desk and one chair that had a seat which was in rough shape. Place is run down and needs repair, ceilings stained from leaks, bathroom in need of remodeling, Tiles missing in ceiling in hallways, furniture needs to be replaced, etc. Staff was very friendly and accommodating though.

Afteter i got there i realized this was a hotle i stay in a couple of time before. I was 18 and am now 63 so that tells you the age of the hotel.
There is a new addition on the front half so i would request that part and ask for the street side because if you dont you will hear the tractor trailers on the highway directly behind the in.
Also as soon as we walked into the room it smelled musty and you could tell it used to be a smoking room.

It was a decent place to stay for just a night on the road. However, it was not very clean. There were what looked like toothpaste smudges on the mirror in the bathroom, and it looked like someone just wiped a dirty dish rag around the bathroom sink to clean it. There was a residue everywhere. I didn’t take a shower because I wasn’t sure if it had been cleaned. The people at the desk were very nice though!

I started in a room with a loud party across the hall and a dysfunctional key card. Moved to a room with no TV. Then put in a room where the AC was blasting warm air. Couldn't be fixed and no fan available. Finally moved to room that became available because \"they were just here for a quickie\", according to the manager. Once they changed the bedding and I got the \"ick\" factor suppressed, it was a good bed, AC, TV. All bathrooms were in poor condition and had exposed fixtures. Security guard sat on his rear looking at his phone each of 5 times I passed him. One elevator, a few hundred rooms (5 floors), no staff elevator, pool closed for season, only ice/vending on ground floor, \"hot buffet breakfast\" was a paper bag to go. I understand covid, but geez. Make at least a token attempt to make sure on-line travel bookingsites have correct information. I would not stay here again if you paid me to do so.

This was the most horrid hotel I have ever stayed at. My first clue should have been the smoke detector hanging from the ceiling with the wire cut. Apparently they are running a homeless drug addict program from their hotel ok they bottom two floors. They have security guards on each floor except 3 rd. Lots of drug activity and violence in the parking lot. Drunks yelling and another followed me on two the elevator and made me feel extremely unsafe. I have never felt so scared and unsafe in my life and I have stayed all over the United States. I did manage to leave and was then charged twice. If you have ever watched the thriller video it came to life for us this night the freaks really do come out at midnight. Please do not stay here. Please do not bring children here. This hotel really needs a warning sign.

There was no hairdryer in the room. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall. I didn’t appreciate someone trying to come in my room at 7:43 AM luckily the chain was on so they couldn’t enter. The door was locked but yet was opened by someone.

I did not like the fact that there were sketchy people at this hotel. I would notice police cruising around and sitting in the parking lot. That indicates that problems have occurred at or near this property. I did not feel as safe as I should have staying here. I will not be back here. I will go back to staying at the Marriott in Chelmsford.

The hotel itself is very nice. The front desk attendant was very good. He help me book an extra night with no problem. The clientele was sketchy at best. I felt like i was the only one there that didn't need a drug rehab, from what i saw. Overall it wasn't bad just felt like i needed to make sure everything was locked up tight.

The hotel in the rooms were very clean. The pool was not open, despite other pools in the area being open. They provided no place for you to sit down and have breakfast, despite the fact that they had more than adequate room and tables to allow for social distancing. The day manager needs to find a new line of work. He still at the end of the hall for four days and yelled from a distance of 10 yards at us every time we walked out of our roomIf we did not have our mask on our face even as we were putting it on. In my opinion it’s never OK for manager to yell at their guests from down the hallway. He was very unaccommodating and mean. I would never come back to this hotel for that reason.

Everything was great except for two things. The first is we were put in a room right by the elevator and the hotel was not sold out. That was a drag listening to people all night. We also had a problem with the heat in our room. It wouldn’t turn off for anything. It was hot as Hades. We had to leave our hallway door open and thank God the window opened.

Had a very nice stay. Service at the desk was very helpful and friendly.
Room was comfortable and spacious.
My only issue was was the noise the heater made as it came on.
Decent complimentary breakfast....however, I did not notice anyone replenishing items as they were being eaten by guests. I was there 1 1/2 hours before the closing time, and they were out of waffle batter.
On the whole, I would still stay there again.
