I was placed in the very last room on my the third floor, and it was ok. It could have been cleaned better. We got there a little late, and noticed all the body wash, shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty in the shower. Called to inform them and get new ones and had to go pick it up myself which was a distance from room 300. Overall, however, it wasn’t a bad experience. We stayed comfortably for 2 nights - family of 4. The breakfast is not bad - better options than typical hotel food.

Food was old and stale by 7 am. Roaches were in our room. We eneded up switching rooms at 8 pm. because we kept finding things wrong. 1 toulet didn't flush and maintenance had to come fix it. Pool was closed 1 day due to an \"incident\".

The hotel did not feel super clean. While the sheets in the room looked and felt clean the room and hotel itself felt dated, worn, and could use a deep clean. Our pull out sofa in had wear and tear spots on both arms and tears in the couch cushions. The pool area needed a cleaning, the pool bathroom was filthy. There were no towels in the pool area or gym. We had to go to the front desk to get some.
The lone staff behind the desk our first evening was helpful and pleasant but it felt understaffed.
I received a text from the staff at 10:49pm welcoming me. I was already asleep.
The following morning we had three people to get ready for the day and get on our way for an event. While using the restroom the toilet water came up with sludge water (I’m assuming). It was absolutely disgusting. We flushed several times but the foul sludge water kept coming up. We checked the shower water, it was also sludge water. I called the front desk they said they would send maintenance right up. That was just after 9. 15 mins later while our group of 3 is waiting I used the text number to alert them if the situation. 30 mins later they responded that they were aware and maintenance would be right there. We flushed the toilet several times and ran the water multiple times for several mins. We got ready for the day with bottled water we brought. At check out we barely got an apology and they were more concerned with the color of the water. 24 hours later still waiting for a call from management.

The place was esthetically nice, breakfast was good. However I am disabled and walk with a cane and will be having a knee replacement soon. So I booked a “handicapped” room. It was located all the way down the hall around the corner away from the elevator. Room should’ve been closer. Bathtub small and needed to buy foldable shower chair. Furniture was low to the ground making it hard to get up except for kitchen chairs. If it wasn’t for safely floating and stretching in the pool, I wouldn’t be able to walk back and forth the long hallway. Unacceptable. Do Better Homewood Suites Billerica,MA!

Overall the experience was mediocre. The staff were kind and friendly. The entire facility smelled musty. Our room specifically smelled awful. The bathroom had no vent and the shower steam had caused metal in the bathroom on the towel rack and door to rust, making the bathroom smell like rust. The hot water doesn’t get hot, and only stayed warm maybe 3 minutes (we were on the 4th floor).

We (family of 4) were booked for 10 days and were only initially left towels enough for 3 people and one extra roll of toilet paper. The staff was kind every time we asked for extra toilet paper.

The breakfast was ok. A decent selection but many of the hot foods seemed old and not fresh.

The pool room wasn’t maintained well and the smell of chlorine was so strong it burned, no ventilation in the pool room.

Overall, it was ok. If you are looking for somewhere more updated, clean, and a little higher scale, this is not the place.

If you just need a quick place to stay and don’t care about the things I found complaint in, then you are fine.

The breakfast was awful :( our toilet filled up and didn’t flush & fridge didn’t work . We also forgot a phone charger there which we called & talked to Twan about . He actually went & retrieved it & said he would leave it for us . Unfortunately we were there for a relative on life support . We live in New York. Twan was actually very nice as was Marissa who comped one of our nights due to all the issues we had. I wouldn’t even be saying anything if we didn’t go back two days later to pick up the phone charger & couldn’t have been treated worse by a girl at the front, I believe Jenisha . She was rude & condescending when we asked to look for the charger as Twan & Ashley had said it would be there for us. She said she was tired of cleaning up after Twans messes & refused to look anywhere else for it. My husband did get a little heated & said that someone was gonna pay for it. She then told it a to leave or she was calling the police for a threat ! There was no threat !! This was a dumb thing to happen as we were there to say Good bye to my aunt but she continued to tell us it’s not her job or her problem that he didn’t follow procedure. We said isn’t customer service your job & agdi she threatened to call the police. I have never been treated like that before as I myself am in customer service!!

Room was not very clean… No dish soap.. no garbage bags. There was only 2 spoons in kitchen. Not enough towels for bathroom.
Kitchen chairs were stained and gross.
There are abandoned cars sitting buried in snow in parking lot .
The breakfast was awful. Hard bagels and bread.
No syrup for French toast.
Pool was not clean. Water was cloudy. On cement near pool was hair that looked like from drain. Thrown.
Looked like no one really cared about anything.
Did not see one housekeeper the entire weekend.
The woman who checked us in was nice. Thankfully.

The lady who checked us in was very nice. On the surface the room looked clean but after being there for a few minutes we could tell it was a quick job. The bathroom sink didn't drain, and the microwave did not work. The reason why we chose this hotel is my daughter had a hockey tournament, and we always pick a hotel that have a breakfast because many times must go straight to the rink early in the morning. Not only did the hotels say they had an included breakfast, but they listed it as buffet. When we arrived in the correct time breakfast time, there was one heating dish that had kielbasa type sausage and that was it for hot options I asked if there would be eggs and he said I said what about anything else They said that's all they had There was some oatmeal in the corner but it inedible. No Juice no milk, only water and coffee. There were no mugs for the coffee, I was told as soon as somebody else was done with their mug they would give it to me. Several of the guests waited hoping they would do the dishes soon. We had to find food in a tight timeframe that was not expected. When I talked to the front desk, they said this was what their breakfast is and were not willing to do more, some guests complained more vigorously and were given juices and snacks from the shop she was not willing to help us in any way. I would not recommend this property, which is a shame as we have always had good luck with Hilton properties in the past.

Our trip's logistics were spot on. The one-bedroom suite was perfect for us and our two kids. The staff was super friendly. The place could really use an update, though. For example, they should swap out the carpets for laminate floors; our feet got black just walking around barefoot. And the couches and chairs should totally be vinyl or leather so they're easy to clean. All that fabric seating is pretty gross, you can literally see all the stains.

La propreté de la chambre est à améliorer. L’eau reste bloqué dans le drain de la douche et s’accumule dans le bain. Le tapis est sale. En fait, un bon lavage de toute la pièce est nécessaire. La piscine était fermée pendant 2 jours pour un bris. C’est correct ça peut arriver et je comprends, toutefois il fut impossible de recevoir une petite compensation, malgré la déception de nos enfants qui attendaient impatiemment de se baigner…

We stayed here for slightly over a week in October, 2025. The hotel is located not close to dinning. Some of the front desk staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. I had made a slight change in my booking through Expedia by moving the date by one day. I did not realize that Expedia made it two separate bookings. After the first night, I was virtually kicked out of the room when I thought I had the booking for 9 nights. The front desk staff instead of seeking a solution to the misunderstanding was adamant that I had only a booking for one night and I needed to leave the room or contact Expedia. Things were almost getting out of hand until I found the reservation on Hilton Honors App and showed the staff that I was allowed to continue to stay. As an Hilton Honor Gold member, I thought that the staff should have been more friendly in attending to me and also make effort to check if there was any other reservation in my name in their system but she just wanted to kick me out of the room.

Also, it was difficult to get someone to clean the room. They claim that the rooms are not cleaned everyday but they would not share the cleaning schedule with us and at some point, we ran out of tissue paper and clean towel. Over all, it was my worst Homewood stay and I would definitely not be booking this hotel again.

The room was nice. I love having a king bed and a room with a door plus a kitchen. The pet fee is high, but we decided it was worth it for a better hotel. We weren't able to figure out how to change the input on the TV so that we could watch a movie together the first night; the lady at the front desk didn't know either. She just said we couldn't. We checked with someone else the next day too though, and he was able to tell us to just press the function key at the bottom of the remote, and the kids and I were able to sit on the bed to watch a movie while my husband continued working in the other room.

I wasn’t stay there, I drove 45 minutes to get to the hotel when I got there the receptionist told me she’s sorry because they were sold out, they didn’t have any room available and they were try to contact me and Orbitz they’re couldn’t because their systems was down . They said I will get my refund back I asked her how am I going to have my refund. She said they will contact Orbitz to let them know they were sold out and after that I will have my refund back. Property is run down and very dated. Room was large, one bedroom with a small kitchen, but felt dirty and just gross. A live roach was crawling across the bathroom floor right when we walked in. I have an actual phobia of roaches and asked for a new room. Was told there were none available. We were only staying long enough to sleep and shower before moving on so we had to make do. Didn't sleep all night as I felt like bugs were crawling on me. Never again!

Nous avons passé cinq jours dans cet hôtel. La chambre est spacieuse. Le lieu est calme et il y a un parking. Le fait d'avoir une cuisine (plaque de cuisson, frigidaire, micro onde et ustensiles) nous a permis de préparer nos repas du soir. Il y a un supermarché très bien à 5 minutes (wegmans). La moquette mériterait d'être rafraichie. J'avais lu des critiques sur le petit déjeuner qui ne semblait pas à la hauteur. Alors sauf si vous avez l'habitude de manger des trucs exceptionnels chez vous, il est plus que correct et copieux. Pour ceux qui veulent visiter Boston nous conseillons le parking Alewife à 20 minutes. Il coute 9 dollars la journée la semaine et 3 dollars la fin de semaine. Il est situé sur la station de métro (ligne rouge) qui vous emmène dans le centre ville (20 minutes de métro). Du coup pas de stresse dans les embouteillages.

Spacious room and great value!

Large room with kitchenette, that was a surprise to us. Pool was good and the office printer works. Only sad part not sure if they didn’t expect these many people but breakfast was a nightmare. Kids had breakfast without forks (in washing machine), completely ran out of food before 9am. I had some billing issue but not this specific hotel problem, more like their whole hotel system. In general with price and service, if I ever do another road trip and go thru the down, will stay here again!

We liked the proximity to local stores and highways. Parking was good. Staff was helpful, letting us know about the Wednesday night social. Husband wasn’t crazy about the food for breakfast. Over cooked oatmeal was awful. Really good English muffins. No waffles, pancakes or drink machines, pitchers of juice instead. The pool was too cold for us and seemed murky as well. The property was clean. Housekeeping got messed up a couple times leaving us on our own to get towels and toilet paper. We did really like all the house keepers though, friendly and hard working. The internet was reliable. This property is a good choice if you need to be close to Lahey Hospital.

My stay at the hotel was a very disappointing experience for both me and my family. We were there to celebrate my birthday, but unfortunately, things went wrong from the first night. The bathroom toilet kept flushing continuously throughout the night, making it impossible for my husband and me to sleep. We even had to take Motrin because the constant noise gave us headaches.

I called the front desk and spoke with a staff member named Stephanie. She told me that no maintenance staff was available at the time but that she would place a work order. Later that night, when the noise became unbearable, my husband went down to speak with her in person. Shockingly, he found her asleep on the lobby couch. She repeated the same response, showing no real concern for the issue.

The next morning, I contacted customer service, but they had no record of my complaint. The front desk staff on duty also confirmed that no work order had been placed. It was clear to us that our concerns were not taken seriously.

The Orbitz has asked me to leave a review, and I feel it’s only fair to share our honest experience. Unfortunately, this stay was not what we expected, and it left us very disappointed.

The property was basically a clean nice property but when we arrived rather than having three 2 bedroom rooms we had only one. The one bedroom room that I had, had a non working air conditioner and the room was very warm. The next day they installed a portable air conditioner that leaked all over the carpets. They did move us to another room but still only one bedroom. Not a good weekend.
