Breakfast was great! Property was old from the exterior and needed to be painted and parking lot needed a high pressure wash. Did not represent the name “Crown Plaza” Room was clean. Television was old and was not a smart TV that streamed services could be accessed. Pool was tiny, little bigger than a jacuzzi, very disappointing.

I was locked out of my room and the tech could not get in as well. They had the drill thru the lock and get me in - which took them an hour. As frustrated as I was being locked in, the staff were amazing and its an example of when tech fails, nothing anytone can do about it - how you react is why I think is why I give it an excellent review.

We checked in later in the evening without a problem. The room was very clean and stock with all the necessities.
There is a restaurant /bar inside the hotel that can be a little loud in the evenings but wasn’t a bother.

The only problem to be had was with the hot water wasn’t very warm at all.

Advice- when you get your room number, find the nearest exit unless you prefer walking a bit back to the lobby.

Hotel was fine. Room was clean and everything as expected. That is, until we opened up the sofa bed (which is part of the reason why we booked the room) and found that no sheets etc had been provided. Looked all over the room, nothing. Called the guest service desk from the room phone line. No response. Tried to call the front desk. No answer. This was around 10pm on a Saturday evening. Tried calling at least 10 times for about 15min to both desks. Nothing. Also tried to call the hotel phone via cell phone. Nothing. Only voice mail I got to was saying it was after hours. Admittedly I didn’t physically go back down to the front desk to locate somebody. One would think somebody would answer a guest services phone. Not impressed.

I had two different experiences in the hotel. First time terrible found hair in the toilet on the bed and cause the had renovation we didn’t know hot to get in we called to find where was the entrance someone picked up talk to the person and told me to wait I was waiting for 15min on the phone till she hang up lol. Second time better cleaner room quieter too

This hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. It was close to Boston, Woburn had great places to eat, we loved the Brickyard. We enjoyed a walk after dinner and some time in the memorial park honoring the Veterans of all wars and conflicts. We will probably stay again when we have to go to Boston.

Breakfast isn't included, you have to pay extra. Our room had two trash cans but no bags. My key card didn't work straight off so that had to be fixed. Pool is A LOT small than the pictures lead you to think. I was expecting more high-end for the price but you could see the wear on the carpet,pieces of tile missing. Took forever to get even warm water and no microwave in the room.

The staff is not receptive to when things go wrong. The young lady that checked me in was excellent so was the maintenance person. Once checked in calling downstairs after that is near impossible. I had a heating issue around 10:00pm and called downstairs four times and no one answered, not sure if they have someone 24/7. The bathroom didn’t have wash or bath gel had to wait 30 minutes only to have two of the same, I didn’t mind because the women was lovely, she left me with a bar of soap because the amenities stink! When checked in I was told I could get a late checkout only to have someone banging on my door. When I called downstairs the front desk person lied twice, she said she didn’t see the late checkout and the hotel was full booked, I checked online and the hotel wasn’t fully booked.

Room was clean. Beds are ok. Pillow and bed can be better. My coffee machine did not work and they fixed it but on the second day. There is NO microwave anywhere in the hotel! That was terrible! No store. There was one and they took away. I stayed there for the second time so I know the changes. The oool floor is not cleaned daily. There was blood on it, and the second day I went to swim the spots were still there!! I’m not sure I will choose to stay there again.

The overall condition and cleanliness of the room during my stay was ridiculous. The walls showed visible signs of dirt and wear, and the carpet had a persistent unpleasant odor that detracted from the comfort of the space. Additionally, the air in the room felt excessively dry, making it difficult to brethren especially with having children.

Of particular concern was the state of the bedding, which did not appear to have been thoroughly refreshed prior to my arrival. This raised questions about the consistency of the hotel’s housekeeping standards.

Given these issues, the experience fell short of expectations. I would encourage management to place greater emphasis on cleanliness, maintenance, and overall room quality to ensure a more comfortable stay for future guests.

Check in was delayed with many frustrated guests waiting. Apparently the property was under renovation. The room had a torn desk chair, burn holes in the curtains and torn carpet. The TV Comcast didn’t work the first night either. The front desk staff didn’t seem to care and were dismissive except for one person.

The hotel has recently undergone a bunch of renovations you can tell they are trying to update. I was really pleased with our room and how clean and comfortable the beds were. Some of the front desk staff is extremely helpful. Others are rude and we basically ignore you and pretend like you’re not there. We were concerned because we had seen the pool was recently under renovations and I triple checked to make sure it was open and functional as that’s an important amenity to us. We were told it was fine and yet we got there. It was so green and cloudy you couldn’t step foot in there. We also were awoken at 3:45 AM by a rowdy group of people in the parking lot drinking and smoking weed called the front desk multiple times to mediate no one answered so I ended up ultimately having to call the police. I do think this is a nice enough hotel for the price point and the location is really prime. I have actually reached out to the regional manager because although i still felt it was a good value there is room for improvement.

Hall ways were freezing, no tv guide or advertisements about whats available in area. Pool area had no tables or trash bins. I went there for years and always found everything more than satisfying. With allbthe renovations going on over the years the pool is smaller and only 4.9 in. deep. The heater was very loud and still renovations going on that changed route to Restaurant. They were always alloud early check in and later checkout. Now they don't and I could understand if there were a lot of people there but there wasn't.

I would not return to this hotel if I had options. Hotel seemed understaffed, but the staff that was there were courteous. Beds were comfortable but walls paper thin so not ideal for a restful sleep. Relatively clean but the towels were scratchy, had that air dried feel.

Outstanding customer service. Everyone was truly happy to be working there and extended their kindness to everyone they came in contact with. The live music, food, and patrons were the “Sprinkles on top”.

Our room was tidy and clean, and never an issue getting additional supplies. I’ve gotta talk about the bed. The bed made all the difference! Where did you get that bed? I have to have one. We have both agreed that we will not be staying anywhere else when we return in May.

Outstanding job Crown Plaza. Way to go. ☺️

Housekeeping was amazing, it was clean. However, the constriction on the building made it a nightmare with the frigid temps. The keys randomly stopped working and I was told it was a common occurance. Skipped the breakfasts we prepaid because of the inconveniences of trydging thru snow incbelow zero weather to get there- we were furthest possible from there. 10/10 likely will not return because it was nothing but inconvenience the entire stay and a waste of money.

I will adjust rating on Monday if the extra $200+ random charge is dropped or not. It’s been pending since arrival as they had me swipe but was wrong amount, so reswiped another card. None of the amounts made any sense. Now waiting to see if pending disappears.

Hotel itself is undergoing renovations and will be very nice. Expedia didn’t tell me anywhere that pool was closed during these renovations, it only states it on the actual hotel site. Traveling with my daughter and chose this hotel over 2 others in the area because of pool and just my luck no pool available, so had a disappointed 9 year old. Hotel was clean, staff was great, bed comfy.

The hotel was undergoing renovations which we weren't aware of, but that being said things could have been better. No outdoor signage that the main entrance was closed until you got up to it. The sign said to go to the back of the hotel to check in and then you had to go back outside and drive to another door to get to your room otherwise you had to lug your bags up and down stairs. The water in the shower was hot in the morning, cold at night and that includes the sink in the bathroom.

I didn’t go eat breakfast at the hotel because it was a bar and i don’t go to bars. I tried to eat my breakfast at the room but there is no microwaves at the hotel to warm up my food, not even a microwave downstairs, I’ve never seen that before :( the hotel being under construction should be mentioned on their site so people can be aware of countless inconveniences that might occur. Poor directions inside the hotel related to the construction.

So room 457 and the rooms around 457 cannot get hot water I complained once I was checked in to the room and discovered I took over an hr to get Luke warm water at both the faucet and in the shower Maintenance tried putting me in the room next door with the same result no hot water the next morning same thing Luke warm water complained to the front desk and the response was you booked with a 3 party we can’t help you ! I wouldn’t recommend the Crown plaza! Zero customer support 💯

We had a great experience at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Boston. The price was very reasonable, and the hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and extremely clean.

The room was very well organized and spotless, which made our stay even more comfortable. The staff was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.

Even though we only stayed for one night, it was more than enough to leave a great impression. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again if we return to Boston for another event or decide to plan a different itinerary in the city.

Only 3 stars because the shower caulk joints were brown, bed only had 1 type of pillow, bed was spring filled and soft, no water in room and very very dry air. No USB charger ports that worked.

There was a buffet at the sports restaurant next door. But it was $22 per person. $50 by the time you're done! OUCH!
The room also did not have a microwave.There was a community microwave near the pool, but not in the room.
