The rooms were extremely dirty, they declined my reservation when I arrived because they don’t have enough rooms. After waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes I finally was escorted to a room that was filthy, stained brown/yellow spots in the bathroom. After 15 minutes, I finally get to another room and the condition of that room was extremely poor. The sink water ran a black color, the shower had a heavy leak it wet the entire bathroom on top of having no shower curtain. Everything stayed in their policy about cleanliness didn’t match up what so ever. 0/10 would never book again.

Room smell like food and the odor wasn't pleasant on the hallways either. Bed sheet has stains. Housekeeping trying to quick is out of the room way before time in a sarcastic way. Staff on the lobby were friendly and attentive. Parking good. That hotel seem like a shelter place very ghetto environment. We didn't feel comfortable and secure staying there

Bathroom floor looked like it hadnt been mopped in ages

Crumbs all over floor upon check in

Weird smell in 2nd floor hallway, matched only by a dank faded weed smell in the room (maybe why a smoke detector had the plastic bag over it?)

Phone would ring in room but you could not answer it and it had no dial tone if you tried to call

Front desk person seemed inept and we were so tired we just said to heck with it. The bedding was clean and the bed was relatively comfortable.

We are thankful that we only stayed one night;. Ceiling was coming down and there were many stains throughout the room; couch was filthy, back of stove was melted; there was poop/blood behind the toilet; tiles were missing in the bath; difficult understanding clerk at desk. asked for wifi password 3 times but couldn't understand; windows were filthy; remote didn't work; toilet paper holder did not work. This is worst room my husband I have ever stayed in. Don't plan to visit ever again.

I wish I noticed the low rating of this hotel before I booked it. It definitely should be low. When we checked in, we went to the room and someone was already staying in the room.
Then the gentleman who we think was the manager at the front desk ‘upgraded’ us to a 2 bed room but the microwave display didn’t work, the furniture was in terrible shape, the bathroom shower tub we peeling and the fridge didn’t work which we didn’t know after filling it with food.
No one serviced the room for the entire week after requesting it and the breakfast consisted of a small muffin. That’s it.
Other than the price being the lowest in the area, I would pays the slight increase and stay at another property next time. We actually did just that.

Third time's the charm. First room had no hand towels or face cloths, crumbs on the floor, hairs in the sink, and the inside of the bed was completely covered with little black hairs (dog hair?} and clearly the sheets were not changed, yet the bed was fully made up. Second room was better, but stove had not been cleaned (I wasn't going to cook anyway), bathroom was fully stocked with linens, floor was cleaner, bed was clean, so OK. Shut the door and the chirping started - smoke alarm needed new batteries. Third room was similar, mostly stocked bathroom linens, clean bed, some crap on the floor, but all I wanted was to go to sleep (now it's 10:15 PM).But, the desk clerk didn't bring a key for this room, so I couldn't go down to get coffee in the AM. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This place was terrible! I have never smelled anything like it. We pulled up and there were numerous adults smoking marijuana in the parking lot directly in front of the building. There’s a large tv screen when you walked up to the service desk reflecting yourself letting customers know we’re being recorded and a designated police parking out front. I cannot emphasize how horrible the smell was. The rooms were disgusting. Mold everywhere. On the ceiling and on the walls. There were broken windows with scotch tape on it! There was hair in the sink and the fridge. My sister arrived before I did and took the kids and waited outside for me to arrive. I promptly marched in and informed the woman working at the desk we were not staying there. Turns out she had already charged my card! She handed me the receipts for the charges and told me that she refunded it. I asked for those receipts and she just hand wrote it on. Then she handed me the managers card and told me to email him. I asked if the email on the card was correct and she told me to call him and ask first . Between her super rude demeanor and the unsafe, and unhygienic conditions, I would never recommend this place. I have no idea how the health department allows that to go on.

This hotel is terrible, do not waste your money. The outside of the building doesn’t look too bad; however, the rooms are in terrible shape and poorly maintained. The mattresses were the worse quality and you could feel the springs. The ceiling was all damaged from water damage and wires were hanging from a missing smoke detector. Oh and don’t forget the free breakfast that was beyond a joke.

The bed was very basic, almost cot like. My room was clean but worn. No kitchen items (mugs, plates etc) are included in the stay. You can hear everything! Loud trucks outside, people in the hallway, the upstairs rooms. You get what you pay for in this hotel. It’s just a place to sleep with clean sheets.

Basic place to sleep coffee in am no big breakfast just coffee some days muffin or nutra grain bar some staff very helpful some there to get check and go home no public transit within 2000ft probably close to half mile but very cheap so would stay again if it's the cheapest place in area and offsets the Uber costs but I mostly go to hospital close to there so it's not that hard to get to other than mairiot which is very expensive it's probably the closest hotel to layhe

This property is really run down. My first room was not clean. The second was ok but not great. The hallways are filthy and smell bad. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no hairdryer no coffee pot no dishes or cutlery etc. For the most part the service was decent. This seems like a management problem to me. I did call and ask for a hair dryer and never heard back. I would strong recommend not using this hotel.

So bad we left after 2 hours

Staff was excellent but everything else was incredible… and not in a good way. The fact that there is a parking space dedicated for the police didn’t leave a good feeling walking in the door. The mold on the AC wouldve sealed the deal all by itself. Feeling the mattress springs was uncomfortable. My back hurt after 15 minutes. The light in the bathroom and the TV remote didn’t work. My boyfriend and I both showered and neither of us have ever been as itchy as we were after we used the towels. Don’t recommend.

This place is a complete dump. Black mold in the bathroom. Sticky floors that have obviously not been cleaned. Splatters on the walls that might be bodily fluids. Grime every where. The place is filthy. And it has an overwhelming smell throughout. A dog barked in one of the rooms nearby all night and the hotel staff of one person did absolutely nothing about it. Stay far away from this place not worth it at any price.

It seemed unsafe: at check in there was a tv feed with security camera pointing at my face with “recording in progress” blinking and there is a dedicated police parking space right in front.

This hotel is horrible, the room we were given was dirty and half the stuff didn’t work, we had to change rooms 3 times before we found one that was decent enough to stay in. The other rooms had broken windows, mold in the bathrooms, broken blinds, they were not clean. The room we did have , some of the lights and outlets didnt work either. The staff was friendly and tried to help us the best they could. 0/10 would not recommend and we will not stay here again.

We booked this stay so that we didn’t have to drive all the way home after a concert at Gillette Stadium, we live in ME so this hotel was on the way home. We were running late and didn’t have a chance to check in the before, and I sent a message to the hotel alerting them of this. We get to the hotel and all of a sudden there’s no rooms. Did not get a call about this, nothing. So here we are, exhausted, and being kicked out of the hotel I reserved for the night. Terrible service, terrible employees, I will never ever stay with this hotel chain again

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds to stay one night after a family reunion. When we showed up at 10pm, they told us they only had one room with one bed. They acknowledged that our reservation was for 2 queen beds but oh well! The only way they could help was by offering us another room that also had one bed that we had to pay for. So we had to pay for an additional room. We had packed on 1 suitcase but we’re now on 2 different floors. One of our rooms had no toilet paper and when we tried to call about it, the phone had no cord connecting to anything. Sheets were awful as well. Worst experience.

Unclean and unhealthy location

The hotel was filthy. The bathroom was in terrible disrepair. The room smelled of mold and stale cigarette smoke. The carpet in the hallway looked like it hadn't been cleaned or even vacuumed in a very long time. We had to stay one night because of a very late arrival. I woke up in the morning with a headache from the moldy/smoke smell. Checked out first thing in the morning. We were supposed to stay 3 nights.

Upon check-in on the evening of July 3rd, we discovered the room was unacceptable and uninhabitable. It had a strong musty and moldy odor, the bedding and furniture were damp, and we found hair in the bathroom sink and drawers. The room did not reflect what was advertised and was extremely unhygienic.
We returned to the hotel around 10 PM and requested a room change, but the front desk staff refused, saying no rooms were available. Since we had to leave early the next morning, we chose to check out the same night. The hotel staff acknowledged the issue and advised us to contact Expedia for a refund.
I have contacted Expedia three or four times since, including with supervisors, but was told that the hotel denied the refund. However, as the stay was abandoned on the first night due to unacceptable conditions, I believe a full refund is warranted.
Requested Resolution:
I am formally requesting a full refund for this booking, as no reasonable service was provided. I ask that your executive support team urgently review this case.
If I do not receive a response within 7 days, I will proceed with filing a dispute through my credit card company and submitting formal complaints to the Japan Consumer Affairs Agency and the Better Business Bureau.
I am happy to provide supporting documentation and photos if needed.

A little unsure about this.

Plenty of room. But the shower curtain did have mold on it and a yellow stain on bed sheet. Also I think there are people staying there for free or doing some self help group. We paid extra for our dog. And when walking in there was a bunch of people sitting in a circle and starting complaining about the dog which we paid for. That was annoying. They occupied that common area room the entire time we were there.

Where to begin! Ok first problem was the curtain that couldn't to closed. Spoke to front desk. Couldn't offer any solution. Then microwave in room is broken. Went down to front desk again, problem left unsolved. The towel has beige stains on them, the room smell cigarettes, the drawers of the tv cabinet keep on opening themselves! N there was no chair to sit on.

Worst Hotel’s.com experience.

Worst experience one can ever have on a long weekend.

I booked my trip long ago and I was informed that my room is given to someone else when I am checkin in by some random employee at the reception. It was already dark outside.

Worst service. on that long weekend, everything was super expensive and here they gave up my fully paid in advance reservation to other people.

Our room should have been listed as out of order. I find it very sad that someone actually cleaned that room and did not report any of it. The TV/remote was broken. The lights on the wall next to the bed were broken. The telephone in the room had the majority of the buttons taken off of it, and the toilet overflowed into the actual room.

Agree with many of the prior reviews. Staff were very friendly but the room itself was not worth what we paid - Dirty mattress cover under the sheets, cracked and peeling surfaces all over (e.g. exposed water-damaged particle board in the bathroom). We felt itchy almost immediately after getting into the bed - guessing it was dust mites, since we didn't get any bed bug bites overnight. The floor did not appear to have been vacuumed prior to our staying there.

Had to switch rooms due to a non working fridge and mice. I was treated absolutely horrible. They said THEY could not replace the tv as it was not working. I spent 2 days without a tv. There was dog poop in the hall which I stepped in. The smell in that place was do bad I had to cover my face when leaving or entering. Dead roaches..dirty sheets. I will never use this site unless they reimburse me. I have photos of the bed bug bites. I was sick for over a week.

It was close to Lahey hospital. Hallways smelt like burnt cabbage and inside the room. The room itself was filthy, you couldn't even see in the wall mirror there was so much slime on it. Kids next to the room were out of control screaming. at least the man at the front desk said no problem getting my money refunded because I was able to contact him before the six O'clock dedline so that was nice on his part.

The room was not clean. Cobwebs in the corners, under the bed was disgusting. It was full of dirt. The shower had hair in it, the sheets were stained green/blue, the towels also had dirt marks on them. The hallways smelt terrible as well. The man that checked us in was very nice though, and all the staff were nice. The facility needs to just clean up and it would be so much better.
