The front desk staff was great. They managed to conjoin our rooms which I was really grateful for. I couldn’t figure out how to do it on the site that we booked from so for them to change it when we got there was really nice.
Breakfast was good.
Pool was cold, even though it was indoor heated.
Our bathroom had black mold and whatever the walls were made of was peeling badly. The corners hadn’t been vacuumed. Particularly by the balcony doors.
Bed was comfy.
Housekeeping barged in before checkout even though I specified that we were not all vacated. They were told off by my friend that hadn’t checked out yet.
The couch was old and showed intense signs of wear.
Lighting was garbage. No overhead. Probably to hide the couch flaws and such.

The Breakfast was Great & So were the Ladies Had Smiles on their Faces Every Morning and took your plates when you were finished & it was Clean. The front Desk needs some help it was a young staff who seemed bothered when you checked in or out or if you needed something because they were too busy on their Cell Phones. Our Room needed Updating, but there were signs saying they were in the middle of updating. I have been to plenty of Best Westerns and this one needs some staff help on keeping front Entrance clean and elevators Clean& Just Learning how to be Friendly.

Rugs were full of carpet mites. We were unable to keep anything on the floor. We had walk around with shoes on.
I requested late check-out and maintenance manager were knocking at the door and asked us to leave.
I had to explain but it was embarrassing.

The hotel is ok...I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the street, but they were full. A few issues with my stay included: the front desk allows a homeless man to sit on the couch and watch TV for hours in the evening. The man is not clean and smells really bad. When I first checked in, I had to wait for my room assignment and the front desk suggested I wait in the lobby. I naturally sat down on the couch in front of the counter and when I sat down I smelled this horrible filthy smell. It smelled like a rotten animal. I then moved to a different area of the lobby. Later that night when I went out to my vehicle I noticed a very unclean and unkept man sitting in the same spot on the couch. When I return 5 hours later, they same guy was sitting in the same spot and I realized that was the source of the smell that I had experienced during my check-in. While I appreciate the hotel empathizing with the man's condition, why don't you call social services and get him the help he needs vs allowing him to sit in your lobby for hours where there are little children and families all around?

The other thing is I stayed on the 4th floor, and it took forever to get hot water to my shower. It seems the hotel doesn't have circulating hot water (which most hotels do) and thus you wait about 10 minutes for hot water to the room.

The staff was very friendly. My room was clean. Lots of fresh towels in the bathroom. The homeless situation in the lobby needs fixing.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Waltham and had a very positive experience. The breakfast bar was noticeably better than what we’ve come to expect from most Best Western locations, with a good variety and quality options. One of the highlights of our stay was the Copper House Tavern connected to the lobby. It was quite busy, which is understandable given how good it is. The menu offered a wide selection, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We weren’t expecting this added bonus, but it was a great surprise and really enhanced our stay.

They only cleaned our room twice in 5 days. We let them know, and they said, so sorry 😔. We told them on the 1st night we didn't have hot water. The maintenance guy said he didn't know how to fix it. The room was worn and old. We asked them to bring us another blanket and the one they brought was absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend staying here. The manager Ruth was nice, and the kitchen staff were great. The breakfast was adequate and included which was nice.

Hated this room. The hotel itself was fine, helpful staff, nice breakfast included, free parking. Location right off 95. The little snacks area was poorly stocked and very expensive but any port in a storm for that. The restaurant looked good and is attached, although we did not eat there it was very convenient. BUT here come the buts. What I really want from a hotel is a clean room, a comfortable bed and a good shower. The bathroom was not so clean, not terrible, but not great. More problematic, the mattress must have been very old. It had a big hump in the middle and was soft on the edges. I tried to sleep right in the middle but every time I turned over, I started to slide off the bed, almost landing on the floor a couple of times. And it wasn't comfortable. And the pillows were truly awful. They were hard and flat (again seemed really old with no fluff left) and I felt like I was setting my head on a brick. Really, really bad night's sleep. The hotel is starting renovations and maybe new bedding is part of it (as well as new bathroom fixtures)--hope so. In the meantime, I would stay away.

Despite the on-going renovation, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Exercise room has a Peloton bike, which my husband used daily.
One negative is that we could hear neighbors nightly.
The corners of the bathroom and door at floor level need replacing.

The breakfast was buffet-style and exceeded my expectations. The staff in the dining area were highly attentive—they replenished the food promptly and were consistently kind and professional. I especially appreciated the variety of options, including both hot and cold dishes, as well as the selection of five different fruits and fresh yogurt.

The room was also very comfortable. The bedding was clean, and the bathroom was well-maintained, which made for a pleasant stay overall.

However, the main reason I chose this hotel was for the pool, and this aspect was disappointing. For a hotel at this price point, not being able to use the pool significantly reduces its value. The pool was already closed when I checked in around 5–6 PM, and it remained inaccessible the following morning.

There was no clear notice or announcement regarding the closure. It would have been appropriate for hotel management or the front desk to post an official notice explaining the situation. Instead, I had to repeatedly try my room key on the access pad, which was confusing and inconvenient.

When I asked the front desk for an explanation, the response was vague—they simply mentioned it might be due to maintenance, without providing any clear details or prior notice.

Aside from this issue, my stay was very satisfying. However, given that the pool advertisement in the hotel main picturewas a key factor in my booking decision, I believe a partial refund or some form of compensation would be reasonable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the sheets felt warm and perfectly clean, which made it easy to relax and sleep well. The bathroom was also very comfortable, with amazing water pressure and a temperature that was easy to adjust to our liking.

The breakfast selection was simple yet excellent, offering everything we needed to start the day right. What we loved the most was the coffee and tea bar, which had a wide variety of options and tasted great.

Check in was one of the easiest we have ever experienced, and the staff struck a perfect balance by being friendly while still giving guests their space. We also really appreciated how spacious the room was, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The staff was amazing. That's the only good thing. The room smelled like a wet ashtray. It didn't regulate heat or air we had to open the window. Our clothes stink. We also didn't sleep at all! There were kids SCREAMING and running up the halls all night. We were exauhgsted in the morning. The beds are small and super uncomfortable. The pillows are flat as pancakes. Breakfast was lame. We wouldn't stay here again. There are better options in close vesinity

A/C Filter had been cleaned, which the often are overlooked, thank you.
A bit of a rattle noise, at times and controls somewhat confusing. Took a while to trust it was actually on at desired temperature.
Staff: All decent, but one sour puss, from first confirmation call to actually meeting him. Needs to learn to smile and say hello. A stark contrast to remaining staff.
Housekeeping: Had to remind a few to speak w/soft voice early a.m. while guests slept. They did.
Desk nor head housekeeping has an envelope available nor can break a 20 for tips. Any House staff can pick it up; including one who never touched the room while I was there. Just sayin'. Get those tips to who deserves it.

Return calls promises by same minimalist staffer mentioned above. Zero call from one of the front desk supers or the head housekeeper. I doubt he ever passed it on. Just my instincts. Done a lot of travelling by age 76.
Otherwise a lovely stay. Will return

Wasn’t bad for what we paid. My only real complaint - two workers knocking on my door before 9am with no explanation. I open the door tell them we are still sleeping, they were rude with no apology. Again some one knocked and was gone by the time I got to the door. Again someone was knocking introducing themselves as housekeeping before 10. CHECK OUT IS 11
When I did check out at 11 I complained and the front desk told me someone checked us out at 6:15 am. Everyone in my room was sound asleep at that time. Clearly an error on their end and front desk was extremely apologetic but nobody likes being woken up before their alarm goes off!

The first night we were in a room where there was constant noise due to the elevator going up and down. It sounded like someone was hammering outside our bedroom all day and night. We then ask to be moved to another room. The third night there was no hot water so we couldn't take a shower comfortably. Very disappointed for the price we paid per night.

Part of the reason we stayed was for an opportunity for our kids to swim. The pool was closed from Monday afternoon until Tuesday when we left. Th water looked murky and we were told that overuse over the weekend caused the problem. When asked if there was any remediation for this situation, I was told I could check out the local YMCA.

The room was OK. There is a hole in the insid of the bathroom door and the shower drain was in multiple pieces. There was also spots of a powder black substance on the comfortor cover that concerned me. There was no one staffing the front desk as I left or I would have mention these things. They are likely only noticible if you spend a night in the room.

The frontdesk person I met upon check in and the breakfast room staff were great - friendly and gracious.

Room was clean and spacious, and staff courteous, helpful, prompt. Breakfasts (we had three days worth) were better than we've experienced elsewhere and breakfast/kitchen staff very attentive. The pool was clean and well kept, and it's big enough to do mini-laps and often empty enough to allow this. One recommendation for improvement: more grab bars in the bath tub/shower combination. Our room had a grab bar to assist with entrance, but bars on the side and back of the shower stall would make showering more safe for everyone.

The room looked nice at first, then I went to take a shower and there was pubic hair in the shower. The sink looked like someone brushed and rinsed and left crumbs of something. There was hair on the floor, like no one swept, vacuumed or moped it. Had to get off the bed because the front desk called that my accident fee was not charged when the first guy said it was all set. The elevator noise was very annoying, it made it hard for me to fall asleep. I’ve stayed there before and was not like this.

1. heating initially did not work and the heater had to be replaced, but after that the insulation was bad and very cold air (it was very windy and below freezing) came in.

The property and facilities feel quite dated. The bathtub drain wouldn’t close properly, and the bathtub faucet was loose. The hotel also does not offer laundry facilities or laundry service, which was surprising to me.

That said, everything else was great, especially the super friendly staff and the hot and freshly prepared breakfast.

Contacted the hotel to ask about early check in and was told I could check in anytime after 1pm.

Showed up at 2pm and was told check wasn’t til 3… Told them about the conversation I had previous with their staff and they again said check in is at 3…

Waited 35 minutes at the desk until they found me a room after telling me they were all dirty.

Got a key, went up to 6th floor and it didn’t work… went back down to desk to get a new key, back up to 6th floor and still didn’t unlock the room…

Went back down again and eventually they sent maintenance up to the room with me again with another key that didn’t work…

I was let in the room by a master key from maintenance and then asked if I needed a key for myself…

Overall a slow and horrible entry into the property and no way would I ever go here again.

The maintenance worker eventually got the front desk to make a key that work and delivered it to my room and I’m grateful for that.

Room was moderately clean. Bathroom should have been cleaner and I decided to skip the complimentary breakfast out of fear of cleanliness.

Pool heater was not working at the time of our stay earlier this month. I explained that we traveled specifically for the pool so my son could swim for his bday. I was advised to checkout a day early, then call back to speak to the manager regarding a refund for the 2nd night (that we did not stay) and perhaps a partial refund for the first night. I have left multiple messages and no one has even bothered to call me back. Terrible customer service and no way to get a response.

Everything was great, as on my past stay, clean rooms, comfy bed, good breakfast, the on-site restaurant is good, unfortunately starting the last week of December, they are adding a $100 deposit at check-in, which while it is refunded upon checkout, could take up to 10 days to post to one's account. It really is a pity, I have to travel to that area twice a month and if it were not for that excessive deposit, I would continue to choose this hotel for my stay.

In all of my hotels stays I've ever had - this has been maybe the worst. Thank goodness for Expedia customer service who helped out in this unfortunate situation and was able to leave and book elsewhere for rest of days.
Problems w/ Best Western:
1. No hot water in shower or sink. Daughter had to take cold shower before school.
2. Bed mattress springs broken, half went down to box spring. Had to sleep on half the bed.
3. Construction happening in room right next door to me. 9am woke up to hammering on the wall and sound of sawing/cutting next door. Construction workers going in and out of rooms and into the elevator (Probably why there was no hot water in my room. Go figure!)
4. heater kept clicking loudly all night, couldn't sleep.
5. Pillows lacking compared to other hotels
6. Microwave had serious problems
7. Smoking smell wafting into hallway area outside the gym downstairs and into the elevators.
7. dirty carpets with weird looking stains.
8. 24/hr coffee bar did not have hot water for tea at nite. It says hot chocolate on the paper they give you, but none to be found. front desk guy tried and also couldn't get the hot water to work and he just left.
8. hotel allows pets. Found dog pee in the elevator after seeing several guests with dogs coming and going.
