While the design and decor is fresh, airy, bright and modern, and the amenities were excellent, there is a structural bulding defect in room 156. Every time someone upstairs walked, the entire duct system within the walls near the kitchen area shook and made loud noises, interfering with sleep.

When I showed the video to the desk clerk he said \"WOW\".
But there were no other rooms available to move us to.

Element Lexington is a decent place to stay and in good condition for the price point. Rooms are clean and fairly comfortable. There are \"details\" like burned out accent lights, dinged cabinets, etc. that hint at a lack of love and care by the owners, but nothing that seriously impacts the stay. Managing the room temperature is a little fussy but that's typical for this kind of hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The daily breakfast is a good spread, though repetitive over a number of days. The on-site gym is kept clean and well appointed. The pool is small, so not suitable for swimming laps.

I really want to thank Isaac who was very kind to us! We always felt comfortable in approaching him with our needs. He understood our needs and accommodated, accordingly with ease and a smile on his face. God Bless You!!

He made fresh coffee and refilled the infused water every evening.

Breakfast was okay, as other Elements I have visited had a cook on site. However, the lobby was great and my girl enjoyed the pool.

The room was nice and comfortable and clean and nice to have breakfast included. My kids loved the pool. They seemed quite understaffed. They forgot to clean our room (we were out of the room prior to anyone trying to come by) and still did not happen after we asked for it to be cleaned and for fresh towels (twice). Also, in the evening, we tried to get an extra blanket for our kids, and there was no one answered the phone nor at the desk (according to a woman trying to check in, she couldn’t find anyone for 20 min). Also, despite saying that they have ev charging stations on their website, they do not. Overall, nice place, but notably understaffed.

But for the initial space having a clogged toilet, broken heating vent door, broken TV, and us having to slam the replacement suite door to get it locked-the stay at Element Lexington was good. The entrance to the hotel was easy to miss, especially on a snowy night. The unexpected switch also made us late for an appointment.

Plusses too such the swapped room being clean and spacious. Grateful for having reusable dinnerware and the quarters felt more like a studio. Applause to the staff for the stellar breakfast full of healthy options. I would have rated this place more stars but for issues early on.

Overall had a good stay at the Element in Lexington. Room was clean and well equipped. We had a sense that the place is efficiently staffed if not well-loved. Nice daily breakfast with a lot of options including non-dairy milks. For the price point of this property the experience is very good.

We stayed in the second floor of the hotel. The HVAC was not working in the room. There was a hockey team staying in the same and thé morning they decided to play hockey in the Hallway. We tried to call the operator and we kept getting transferred. After the 4th try my girl and I we decided to check out early.

One of the room headboard collapsed on us. Clearly I would not recommend à stay

Our 4th stay. Room was nice as usual. We did have a problem getting free WiFi (it kept wanting us to sign up for Marriott membership) and our in-room phone never worked. Breakfast had no gluten free options.

But the pool was the normal high temperature, which is the BIGGEST reason we return!

For 2 of the 3 days there were no pancakes, waffles, or French Toast, nor cooked oatmeal (just packets). The yogurt/granola was good though the yogurt ran out and it took a few minutes to replace. The bagels could be better quality/taste. Also mixing up the pastries and available fruit.

Asked for a quiet room with 2 beds away from the elevator. Called to confirm. First checked in to a room with one bed right in front of the elevator. Went down to say that was unexceptable. Then given a room with one bed away from the elevator.
There was NO remote for the tv in either room. A towel bar was broken off the wall in the bathroom. The blackout shade was broken. And the nice young man who came to make up the pull out couch said it was his first time. Shortly after we saw him doing the trash outside.
This place is terrible. I would never come back.

Breakfast choice of food was great but scrambled eggs were luke warm. Room had visible water damage in bathroom, deep scratches in floor near sofa. During our stay new water damage on ceiling appeared. This was reported to staff who simply apologized for the inconvenice, would expect more from Marriott.
Design of thd room left no reasonable space to open twosuitcases. This was a studio with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa.

Disappointing Stay- In Need of Management and Maintenance Improvements.

This hotel has potential but needs major improvements in management, maintenance, and staff training. Staff often use the café like guests, getting coffee and food while paying guests wait in line, chatting among themselves without urgency. Housekeeping staff are also very loud in the corridors early in the morning, which is disruptive for guests still sleeping. They were my wake up call every morning. No alarm clock needed!

Rooms are only cleaned every other day, leaving guests to wash their own dishes, and there are visible maintenance issues such as peeling bathroom ceilings and a loose sink faucet. Towels are left in hallways overnight before being picked up.

As a travel advisor, I found this stay far below the standards expected from a Marriott-affiliated property. Marriott Bonvoy should review which hotels qualify under its brand to ensure consistent quality and guest experience.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The location is excellent, the staff at the front desk were warm and helpful, and the amenities were exactly what I was looking for—clean, modern, and comfortable. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a long day.
The only downside was the housekeeping service. While the room was tidied daily, the bed sheets weren’t changed every day, which I would have preferred for a hotel of this standard. It’s a small detail, but it stood out during an otherwise great stay.
I’d definitely consider staying here again and would just make sure to request daily sheet changes next time.

There were spiders in room. We were awakened around midnight by a loud continuous piercing noise. We couldn't find the source of noise nor could the night time desk clerk. He moved us to one of two available rooms each on either side of the first room. The second room also has the same loud noise. The third room did not. The bathroom door in third rim was wood and couldn't close. Breakfast was disappointing.....eggs and sausage were both burned and overcooked. Disappointing for a Marriott property. Will not stay at an Elements hotel again.

It was really sad to see that cleaning in this property is made in a hurry, and only every other day. Wake up in the night, and turn on the lights, and you will discover a full array of cockroaches coming out of everywhere. I tried to like the hotel. The concept is good, but we value more our health. Yes, we got bitten by some insect at night, and our room was on the third floor. Sorry, but you need to make a better job.! Lastly, the property needs some remodeling too…. Some areas look outdated, and the rooms need some renovation.

When we arrived to check in at 10 p.m. there was nobody at the front desk,nobody in the lobby. No security. I walked behind the desk, opened doors looking for people and calling out \"Hello? Hello?\" This lasted about 10 minutes. Finally someone who was not in any kind of special attire arrived to give us our key. The presence of staff has been sharply reduced since Marriot took over. If they are not going to have anyone at the desk, they should bring back self check-in.

Room/bed were all OK . I have stayed in this hotel in 2023 and it seems worse for the wear now in 2025. I could not get into the building late one evening from the keycard outside near the grill area. Breakfast seems to not be as good as I remember. Please put more effort into upkeep and maintenance of this property

I specifically picked this hotel because it listed EV charging. (Not sure if that is Expedia or Element problem) I was disappointed to find no chargers present. These are simple to add (or should be for level 2). Anyway, I was able to find a way to charge elsewhere for a higher price.

Otherwise it is a great place with great people.

I would give an overall great review for Element Hotel. The staff were approachable and helpful. The overall cleanliness, aesthetic, and vibe were good. We stayed there Suit which had everything we needed. The shower was malfunctioning but, the he’ll addressed it immediately and in a suitable fashion. I would visit this hotel again. Also, the complementary breakfast was suitable. Shoutout to the lady who prepared the AM meals. She was particularly pleasant and entertaining. Told us about God local places to visit.

Water pressure was insufficient, with a wimpy shower and only a trickle through the sinks. Service resisted cleaning the room and providing linens.

No EV chargers on site, as advertised. I should have called, rather than trusting Expedia? the hotel? as there were NO chargers. Front desk staff informed us the chargers were removed more than a year ago. Someone obviously didn't update the web site. In addition, the breakfast service was beyond pathetic, and, no one was monitoring... both mornings, coffee and hot food ran out, and we had to ask and waiit for more food, during the MIDDLE of the advertised breakfast time. To be fair, the bed was comfortable and the night desk staff were friendly, but it was HARD to get over the lack of advertised EV charger and honestly, a Marriott property can and should do a better breakfast. Huge disappointment. Won't be back.

We have stayed at the Element in Lexington several times over many years and we love this hotel. It is conveniently located right off the I-95 with free parking. The rooms are spacious with a kitchen (including full size fridge and dishwasher). We appreciated having self-serve laundry onsite and the pool is always a hit. Breakfast is good and for anyone who's wondering - they have gluten free options (Udi's bagels and muffins)! The staff are attentive and friendly, always looking to please. Highly recommend.

Arrived at the property to find out that the room we were reserved wasn’t available. We had a room with one bed. They did some moving around to try to get into another room. The outlets around the bed didn’t work. The TV was broken. The window shade was broken. It seemed like a room that they don’t use that they threw us in so we would have enough beds had kids swearing at us in the pool, and then had their mother try to beat me up management did nothing they were back down in the pool an hour later. But Skyler at the front desk was amazing and should get a raise.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Care

Isaac and his team were incredibly friendly and professional. When we got stung by a wasp while lying on the grass, Isaac quickly took care of us with calm, caring support. Their emergency help made a big difference.

The breakfast was abundant and delicious, with a very clean kitchen. Our room was spotless, and the whole stay was pleasant. Big thanks to Sophia and Isaac—we’ll definitely be back!

The ac unit was so loud. The fan could not be lowered. Stayed on high and loud.
It was impossible to sleep w it on and the weather was hot. We left after the first night and did not stay the second night. Paid over $500. Not happy!

The staff were really good at sorting out another issue of the hotels laundry.
Had to download an app to pay for machine for 3 dollars which my bank suspected a scam, so blocked my credit card.
The hotel paid for the call to UK, so worked out in the end.
Be aware if you do not have a car nearest public transport 8 miles away

We didn’t get King Suite although room was reserved as such 9 months ago. Didn’t request room change because we were only staying 2 nights for daughter’s graduation. One had an in inoperable safe, one had no lights working in the bathroom, one had a toilet that ran nonstop, the last was supposed to be a connecting room with a room for their children and it was not a connecting room.
