The hotel was very dated, well maintained.Probably built thirty five years ago. I would have liked to have used the pool, but it was crowded with noisy children. Just to say , there were no towels available in the pool area because no one on staff was maintaining the pool area to replenish the towels. Mainly ,I'm unhappy because there was an odor in the room that smelt like sewer or a dirty diaper as soon as you walked into the suite, it hit you in the face. When I called down to the front desk , I politely explained to the woman on duty where she proceeded to hang the phone up on me and no one ever came up to inspect. As soon as we checked into the lobby to our room a gentleman by the name of Greg greeted us with an I -pad and at first it seemed that he was trying to make sure we would be happy and satisfied , but then proceeded to try to sell us for fifteen minutes on a timeshare through Hilton hotels. He was a very pleasant gentleman.And we wanted to be polite but we certainly were not interested in purchasing a timeshare in Hawaii and he wanted a deposit! One last thing is they charge fifteen dollars per night for parking. I would carefully consider what our experience was here , so if you do stay there , make sure these things just don't happen to you.

After staying in this hotel for over 20 years I probably will not return due to the poor upkeep of the property. The only things that were good was the continuation of the made to order eggs and the breakfast in general and the attempts by the staff to address my concerns.

Although the new management says they will upgrade the property I did not see any evidence of work beginning in that direction. I don’t understand them saying it is new management since last year when I stayed there it was also a Hilton property!

My room was not cleaned upon arrival. I found ladies panties hanging in the bathroom. I complained to the staff, someone was sent to removed the panties but nothing was done about it. No discount and we were not moved to another room because they were sold out. We were told that they could not give us any financial compensation because we booked through Expedia. The hotel was also too noisy. The breakfast was good

Hotel is very clean, staff was as helpful as they could be. Housekeeping was very nice and polite. Food at breakfast was good, coffe Le a bit weak for my liking but doable. Only issue I had was with WiFi, tried to purchase the premium so that I wouldn’t have issues while working but it didn’t go through to the pay screen. Front desk couldn’t help as they said you could only do it on your phone. Used the free WiFi I get with my Hilton rewards and kept losing internet while working. Had to keep calling into work when I lost connection. But other than that I would give it a 10/10 overall.

Beautiful hotel for the most part. The headboard fell on fed the wall at 0400 in the morning. It was very heavy and I was alarmed. Luckily it didn’t break my neck. In exchange the hotel compromised me $15. Odd, but okay.

First of all the sofa bed was to uncomfortable to use an it was dirty so my son had to sleep with us the whole time we were there and feel Iike breakfast could’ve had more options an the door to the room we had to push it hard to make it close an for the price of the room we should’ve been able to park free for the time we were there I won’t be staying there again

The sofa in the room had many stains and was outdated. Two elevators for eight floors, makes it so you have to wait forever in the main area of the hotel is super hot.Thepol was not cleaned well either.

Our stay was great! The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The only issue at the hotel was that only one of three elevators was functioning and the doors on the one that was working closed so fast that we didn’t have time to get on on two occasions.

1. ac compressor is making a loud vibrating sound
2. Bath tub stopper is not screwed in
3. Closet door handle is falling off.
4. Table in the front is very loose and wobbly
5. There is debris on the carpet everywhere.
6. Spilled liquid dried on down the side of the Ottoman
7. Lightbulb flickering on and off in the ceiling light in the front room
8. When you flush the toilet, it splashes up onto the seat

The breakfast was really good as was the room, and the happy hour drink prices were reasonable and the snacks were adequate. The only improvements I would suggest are they regularly check the ice makers on the floor because the ice maker on the floor I was on was non-functioning and the front desk staff I interacted with were okay, but a little on the
indifferent side of things... They need to remember they're in the hospitality business and be a little warmer and more welcoming. I understand they had a lot of tour groups coming through and also that the hotel was pretty full but a little personal warmth goes a long way. Overall I would stay there again when in the Waltham area especially given that I got it at a decent discount through one of the online travel sites....

I’ve been coming to this hotel for quite some time. The hotel is obviously older. They’ve made some upgrades like new microwaves and new televisions but the gym equipment is pretty beat up for a few items we’re working in the gym this time. It was also a funky smell in the room every time I open the door I don’t know if it was the AC or something, but it smelled like sewage at times have not had this problem in the past so it could’ve been just that room. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and very helpful. I will continue to stay here. I do hope they do something about the gym.

This is a really great place to visit, I was under the impression that there was a hot tub but I think they did away with it. The pool is very nice and the Breakfast was unbelievable, talk about a world class breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff we're very nice and friendly. I will definitely come back to stay at the Embassy Suites Waltham again.

Housekeeping was poor. When they did finally enter the room, sometimes they only left a few towels and we ALWAYS had to ask for washcloths. Additionally, the bottom sheet didn't fit the bed so it was only partially on ans slipped off. Could only get super hot or super cold water out of the bathroom faucets and had to practically use a wrench to turn the faucet. Thermostat wasn't working properly. The lobby door was broken and unusable for 3 days. The prperty in general was very tired.

Breakfast is great with eggs made to order. Housekeeping sucks, I stayed for 3 nights, first day no room service; I requested for the second day, still no service, towels were placed on counter, no tidying whatsoever, dustbins not properly cleaned. The second main complaint was the elevators not operating properly…usually only one or two in service even with a full house of occupants during the weekends.

I had an excellent stay at The Embassy Suites at Waltham. The staff was welcoming, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. Make sure to get a made-to-order omelette.
The property isn’t not too far from the airport and near a many colleges.
I’d recommend the Embassy Suites at Waltham.

The lobby and main floor were clean and well maintained, and Breakfast was very nice. My room was not as clean, the pull-out mattress in the sofa was stained, there was a blanket but not sheets or pillow for it. The room was cleaned every day, but the towels were not fully replaced every day - we didn’t get a new bath mat after the first day, some days we were missing towels and washcloths. Most annoying thing was the parking - sign out front said parking was $15/day, if you’re a guest register your vehicle for a parking pass- got charged for parking anyway.

The hotel is decent. The room was amazing! We were sho thrilled to have 2 separate rooms a livingroom and a bedroom it was so nice. We were there and there was a school field trip as well and with that many kids there the place was well kept. Towels at the pool took a little longer but over all we enjoyed our time and will be back very soon.

The bar was very good although they had advertised 2 complimentary alcoholic drinks with the evening welcome snacks, apparently the state of MA does not allow this so i bought a glass of wine for $7. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice to know. My biggest disappointment was the check in process. I had booked online for 1 night and paid with my \"Chime\" card, my plans changed soon after so I messaged the hotel (through their site) and requested a second night, preferably the same room. I have yet to receive a reply. I additionally sent another message requesting an early check in, guess what? I have yet to receive a reply. I went back to Expedia and booked another night and when I received the hotels confirmation, inviting additional requests I responded by telling them that I would like the same room as the previous night. Yeah, you guessed it, I have yet to receive a reply. At this point a reply will not be needed. When my wife and I arrived to check in I was told that an additional $100 was required to cover \"incidentals\" I gave the receptionist my Chime card and she informed me that the hotel did not accept Chime cards, nor would they accept cash (this is illegal according to my Google search). Ultimately I transferred money from my Chime account to another card and was able to pay for my \"incidentals\" then I was told early check in was not available and I should return at 2PM. So, overall good hotel with major communication pr

Breakfast was amazing! Very crowded with folks in for The Boston Marathon. In spite of crowds, food fresh and plentiful. We had an amazing large suite which was soooo nice after spending 6 hours driving from Philly, then watching the Red Sox play and then visiting the Cheers bar! Wonderful night, comfortable bed, professional and friendly front desk staff. We will definitely be back!

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times and keep coming back because it’s clean, the staff is always friendly, and it’s easy to get to and conveniently located near where we attend events. This visit, there was a slight odd smell in the room, but nothing major and it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Would still recommend and plan to continue to book here
