At best the hotel is probably a 3* facility.
The downside was The Spa, most facilities were out of order.
We booked a joint massage for €45 euros each with another €10 euros to access The Spa.I have to say that every therapy room was covered in horrendous black mild which covered most of the ceilings.It was downright dangerous & would have been shut down if reported in the U.K.
The hotel was informed but the Spa remains opened.
We took photos of the massage rooms but the fact is, if we post them the Spa will not be used until a deep clean & treatment of black mild is carried out.

queue at the evening bar were bad - they need more than one person serving at busy times - some staff quite rude - others not. cockroaches observed on ground floor and fly’s on buffet of an evening. room was ok but very dark at end where tv was - asked if we could have lamp but they said they had none spare. music round pool exceptionally loud and need to be mindful of the average age of those being forced to listen to it and play music types accordingly

We really enjoyed our short break here. Hotel is literally on the beach and the weather was fantastic! It was €10.50 for two beds and an umbrella on the beach if you don’t fancy the pool.

All inclusive was fine lots of options, food was always available essentially snacks etc too - my only criticism was sometimes the labelling was missing on food and as someone with an allergy I had to be careful.

I also had a massage whilst I was there and it was fantastic. I felt beyond relaxed afterwards. Staff were all super friendly and helpful if we had any queries/ issues.

Overall it was a great hotel/holiday was a great location to just chill out and switch off.

Showers are awful, prepare for the whole bathroom to be covered in water, there was a member of staff there, who was extremely rude to my whole family and others in several occasions, would never recommend this, i would of spoken to the manager when we checked out but she was nowhere to be seen. Do no recommend.

A perfectly location right on the beach and a short walk from restaurants and bars.
The check in was straight forward and reception staff very help polite and helpful.
The junior suite was very spacious and clean and included a in room safe.
Pool area lovely and always plenty of beds. Pool a little cold in early May.
Dining room offered a large selection in breakfast options including freshly made omelettes. If you left hungry it would be your fault not the hotels.
Overall would recommend and stay again.

Good location and on the beach front. Hotel and rooms have had better days and need time and money spent on the up keep of the hotel.
Food quality was rather low. Selection poor and just of a general low standard, however other guests still managed to load plates up. Only all inclusive I've been to and lost weight.
Staff friendly in the hotel.
During our second day at lunch we saw a cockroach in the dining room and reported it to be told the island has a problem with them.

Las Salinas is advertised as a 4* property but although that probably was the case when it opened it is in dire need of some reinvestment. A lot of the communal areas are tired, shabby and in need of refurbishment. The rooms are reasonably modern but unfortunately because of a heavy rain shower the ceiling leaked and most of the communal areas in the hotel resembled a cruise ship in heavy seas with water cascading down from all over the place. Just not a 4*

This was our 3rd time in this hotel, and we couldn’t ask for better! Good size bedroom with a fantastic balcony and even a kitchenette, spacious bathroom. Breakfast and dinner options were good considering the price range of this hotel. Location very convenient, 10mins from the airport and well connected to both north and south of the island. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Sadly the hotel is located directly under the approach flight path to the airport and the noise of flights taking off and landing from 7am until10pm so instead of hearing the ocean you have the noise of aircraft. apart from the special Christmas dinner the food and drink available on the all inclusive deal was very poor The kind of cheap ham and processed cheese slices you find in the budget supermarket and chips with everything

This is our 3rd visit to Eurostars Las Salinas in December and we just love it. Plenty of space. Never feels too busy. Staff are great. Hotel is great. Lots of lounger options. Great breakfast options. Lots of different areas to sit, inside and out.

Our stay at Las Salinas was beyond our expectations. Hotel is situated on the beach, in the quiet area, yet less than 10 minutes from town at one end and shopping centre at the other end. All hotel was exceptionally clean, rooms were cleaned daily, pool area is immaculate. We were all inclusive and food was excellent with great variety daily, all prepared to high standards. Every member of the staff was brilliant, polite, helpful and friendly. Entertainement consisted of couple of hours of either live music, quiz or bingo, which was just about right after long day for quite evening on the outside hotel terrace. Thank you to everyone at Las Salinas for making our holiday memorable.

Hotel was unhelpful after someone had been in our room and changed combination. We arrived late on first food was average at best( don't go all inclusive) we asked for a refund for the 2nd and 3rd day of our stay after the safe was tampered with we didn't feel safe and secure leaving anything in the room. This meant carrying everything all over with us as the hotel was very unhelpful with our situation
We ate out most meals as the food wasn't good. Tried to resolve the issue online with hotels.com and hotel to no avail.

Sea view suite was excellent and was the primary reason for booking this hotel. Food was fine and alwsys managed to find something to eat. Food not roasting but no issues unless you pile your plate high. Staff are perpetual motion. Downsides to hotel is a real lack of a social area with any atmosphere or ambience. Outside terrace just ful of people smoking and vaping so not for us, unfortunately this was where the entertainment was. Bar inside has seats all facing the bar in rows and again lacked any atmosphere although staff very friendly.
For our stay have to say a very quiet and laid back holiday. Linited Brits on the @#*& and latest noise was around 12.
My view is a great suite in an ok hotel. I think if they refined the offering for social areas and ambience this would be a really great place to stay. Location exceptional just needs the hotel chain to put some thought and care into polishing up this hotel.
Taxi from airport 15 euros each way so wouldn't shell out for transfer etc as you can ne at hotel really quickly yo avoid check in queue.

Had a recent stay here. Rooms are clean and massive. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The entertainments lady was fab too, with poolside and evening activities. Food is pretty samey, as is with most hotels, but plenty of choice. Right on the beach, and quite central. Would deffo return. Thank you!

Prev occupants rubbish and dirty plasters on balcony and covered in bird poo, paid extra 320 euro to upgrade to top of range suite, dirty, no toiletries, 3 visits from maintenance as kitchen appliances not safe or working condition, gave up in the end, still chasing refund and being ignored

Room was a good size with a tub. The spa had an offer on which was good whilst we were waiting to leave for the airport. Breakfast was adequate, the quality was budget, and a limited selection compared with the hotel ratings.

Parking outside the hotel is very easy and plentiful.

There is a great fish restaurant right outside the hotel and a number of other restaurants a short walk, the food in El Patio was very good.

In all apartments stayed in - the bathroom sinks, the plugs do not hold the water - a bit annoying. We stayed B&B and each occasion selection of food excellent, if a little tepid at times.

This was our 2nd visit and we just love it. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms also very spacious and well equipped.

Plenty of wardrobe storage.

Would be nice to have some tea and coffee in the rooms. Breakfast choices are very good. Coffee machines can be a bit temperamental but I guess they get a lot of use.

Pool areas are great tool.

Location is great too - lots of easy walking options.

The staff we met were all lovely and very helpful.

We will be back. All in all a very good holiday destination and great value for money.

However, we were let down by reception on arrival who failed to contact us when our room was ready (as promised) and then failed to order our taxi (as confirmed) when we departed.

The staff available were lovely. The problem is that there just weren’t enough staff. Queuing at the bar and during dining took far too long. Although there are 4 coffee machines, at most only 2 were working at any one time. The drink quality is quite poor-soft drinks were watered down and the AI cocktails were terrible from a machine. Unfortunately the pool area isn’t patrolled and customers are allowed to keep towels on sun loungers meaning that the area is often empty without people but full of towels, not so good for ambience or those wanting to use the area. In addition, the parasols are mostly broken. On the plus side, we did find that the hotel and room were very clean.

We liked that the hotel never felt too packed. There was always plenty of space in the dining area and around the pool even though there were a lot of people staying there. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location was great. Right on the beach, close to town and only about 10 minutes transfer time from the airport.

The Junior Suite was a great option with large rooms, sitting area, balcony kitchen and very spacious bathroom. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels were changed on a daily basis too. Meals were of a good standard if a little samey and the dining area was clean and well staffed. There was a spa, a gymnasium and there was entertainment on every other night. The pools of which there are 3 were all clean as were the surrounding areas and there was a lifeguard on duty every day. There were ample sunbeds but a distinct lack of parasols making getting out the sun a problem when the pool was busier. The hotel is right on the beach and there are lots of sunbeds for hire there at reasonable rates. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would certainly consider returning in the future.

Nice hotel.Larger than we would normally choose but was quiet as early season. 1 week All Inclusive. Food choices were fine. Lots of selections. Salad always fresh. Always some choice of freshly cooked to order. Omelettes for brekkie cooked to order. I had read some negative reviews about the food but was pleasantly relieved at what we found. Staff worked constantly to keep restaurant clean.
Pool area very quiet but again this was early season. Ample sunbeds but a lack of umbrellas made for interesting viewing from balcony in the morning as people dropped towels on beds before brekkie! Pool towels available for €20 deposit and can be changed every other day.
We paid to use the spa for a day, the plunge pool was worth every penny ... perfect for sunburn soothing.
Room was ample. Bathroom had everything we needed. Sliding doors were a bit of a drag as they didn't slide easily. We gave up with the wardrobe doors and only used 1 side of the wardrobe so didn't have to keep forcing the doors. Toiletries provided. Bathroom towels provided.
Evening entertainment was a bit of a washout but think early season didn't help. Bar area need to move their table/chair layout as it felt like sitting in doctor waiting room.
Lots of bars and restaurants outside which we still used, even though we were all inclusive.
Beach directly outside hotel.
Overall a lovely relaxing week in the sun.

This is a well positioned hotel, with spacious rooms and friendly staff. It is handy for shops, restaurants etc and its beachfront location takes some beating.
I felt the kitchen was equipped to the bare minimum...and think some cleaning/washing up materials would be useful.

Rooms and public areas are superb, the work being done around the pool that we saw in December had been completed this trip. Breakfast was superb with some lovely staff working in the restaurant. Reception staff were in general lovely but towards the end of our holiday when trying to find out whether or not we could extend our check out time (which was advertised as something you could ask about - not specifying when) we were treated quite dismissively. I appreciate that it’s not always possible but even suggesting ‘your requested time is not possible but would X help any?’ would go some way. We just felt like we were being a nuisance which, on our last morning put a bit of a dampener on it.

I've stayed at this hotel before. The staff are great. Rooms clean and spacious. Dining facilities and food options excellent.
The problem is dishonest management. The are undertaking a massive refurbishment of the around the swimming pool and outside bar. This is on-going and from 2nd January the main pool will be closed. Drilling noises and banging will be restart during the day. My advice is you have a booking for the first two weeks of January cancel immediately and get a refund

Small concern about the state of some off the ground/floor tiles but it appeared that work was underway to address this.

Autumn trip to Fuerteventura.

We stayed here for 10 days and generally had a nice time with very good weather . The property lacks greenery and landscaping and it needs maintenance on the walkways with broken floor tiles and very uneven surfaces that is a definite trip hazard . The food provided uses cheap cuts of meat and was well presented to look at but was NEVER hot no mater when you arrived to eat . Food off the grill was hot but the food on the Center serving buffet was always Luke warm . Which is a concern when pork and chicken are being served . Breakfast was the best meal of the day but still served Luke warm ,the porridge and cooked items I had I put in the microwave to heat them up .The variety of food is excellent but served at the wrong time for us from Britain, cheese , ham and salami and tuna at Breakfast not lunch or dinner . Cheese served once on an evening out of the 10 days . Puddings are the same every night sponge cakes with different coloured synthetic cream on plus whole fruit and three types of ice cream . The waiting staff work very hard and are always smiling . Housekeeping staff also excellent and the rooms kept very clean and are spacious ours was a sea view suite on the 3rd floor with An excellent view . The bed was very hard but enormous and the sofa was also very uncomfortable. Good sized tv with English channels. Pools very cold salt water but very loud music played in the afternoons which spoiled it for us .

Great location, right on the beach, in the centre of the resort with great views over the bay.
Hotel is an ugly early 70’s type building and out of place when compared to the more modern hotels around it.
We had a mini-suite with side on sea view and delighted with it. Nice living room, bedroom and large balcony.
Hotel itself is starting to look tired, but generally has a nice feel and the staff are pleasant and helpful.
We had the all inclusive option and enjoyed the food, which was standard stuff and the restaurant is spacious. The drinks choices were poor with limited outlets and the emphasis seemed to be on making it as difficult as possible to get them and if you did they weren’t good.
Entertainment was a shocker and mainly non-existent or very poor and long queues for drinks as only one person serving the whole time we were there. Again we drew the conclusion that it was all set up to make you leave the hotel on an evening so as not to use the all inclusive, honestly it was that bad we had to go out.
However this was November time so could be different in the summer.
Despite some of my negative comments we did enjoy enjoy our time here, but it could have been improved with better management to fulfil its potential.

Had an excellent 5 night stay here in one of the villas with a private pool. The villa was spacious and our garden was beautiful with stunning views of the harbour, beach, sea and mountains to the right! Staff were always friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. Just two things that could be better - there were not alot of kitchen utensils in the villa - no saucepans, cutting knives, seives etc. The second thing was the evening food on our half board - not alot of vegetarian food or variety, it would have been better with different meals every other evening at least.

Hotel room was good size with large balcony and right on beach front.
Breakfast was excellent.
Only issue were the usualvtowels on sunbeds that were there all day with no one using them.

We have always had a private Villa but decided to try this hotel, we had a 14 day stay in October 22. Hotel was average, only had bed & breakfast . Pros. Buffet was excellent which catered for everyone. Staff on the whole were very friendly, cleaning was excellent. We had a suite which was spacious.
Cons, terrace had a good sea view but was also overlooking the main sunbathing area so we had no privacy, there were 2 sun loungers but no umbrellas for shade, wardrobe space very limited also only had 8 coat hangers between us, complained several times with promises they would be sent to the room, ended up buying some from the shops, cooking facilities were poor although we had an hob there were no pots or pans for cooking just a microwave, toaster and kettle, shower window although opaque had no blind fitted and was facing the main sun bathing area. We would not book here again.

Good hotel

It's a bit outdated hotel with many broken or rusted things, but it's very well maintained. People working at the reception and restaurant were very nice and helpful. I really like the location of the hotel, it's both close to the beach and shopping area, nice and quiet place. The only thing I did not like was lack of entertainment. They have a program but you rarely can find something. My baby and I were looking for 'face painting' activity for over an hour and could not find it. Reception tried to help but did not succeed too. Same with 'mini disco' which never happened and 'cocktail demo'. It seems that there are a lot of older people and less kids so nobody wants to have fun, just stay next to the pool all day. But there is a very nice soft play area inside.

I really like that I was not expected to pay extra for things like WiFi, iron, safe, water - all that was included.

I would like to really recommend this hotel if you don't need any entertainment or company for your kids. Location, food and people working there are very nice!

Excellent holiday

This is an amazing hotel, it’s situated on the beach.
The villa rooms are utter luxury. I recommend villa 151. 152. Or 153
The food choices all inclusive we’re excellent, never repetitive.
Reception staff very welcoming & nothing was to much trouble.
Taxi from the airport was 15 minutes & €15.
Two good supermarkets 10 minutes walk away.
Local market Saturdays & Tuesdays is worth going to.
I cannot say a negative word for this hotel.

Needs a refresh, maintenance and a good clean.

Check in took 35 mins. Staff unwelcoming.

Food is dreadful. They put out the food on the buffet at the beginning of breakfast/dinner service and it gradually gets colder. They don’t cook fresh and replenish. It’s a 2 hour window for service so you can imagine how dry and gold stuff gets.

Hotel needs a good clean of communal areas- hotel corridors are dirty.

Pool area has broken concrete around the pool, cigarette butts around sides of pool.

Pool bar food cold/dry.

Generally the maintenance is poor.

First morning two staff were having an argument and tried to physically fight but were held back by another staff member.

Second visit to hotel, seems covid took some of the shine off this hotel. Needs a bit of TLC. Few more staff. Only had one bar area in evenings so had massive queue’s. No atmosphere around the pool. The glass sizes need changing as in restaurant people were using wine glass to get a Pepsi as table glass to small even for my daughter. Food was good for all inclusive. My door keys kept not working so every other day had to go back to reception to get them reset. Cleaning was excellent cannot fault it. One thing that had changed that i was unaware of, was 30 euros charge for hotel pool towels and only took cash. This wasn’t said in hotel description on Expedia as on my last visit it was free. Overall not bad for the price and i have stayed in worse.

Fabulous hotel, cannot fault it. Great beach front location, central for shops, bars and restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff, room cleaned daily. We were all inclusive and the range and quality of food was outstanding, the best Ive ever experienced. Cant wait to return

Beautiful hotel and beautiful view of the beach. 1 min walk to beach. The staff were very good and friendly. I was looking for a tip box but could not find one. Only problem was the staff were still wearing masks. Covid is over and we have to move on. Everyone else was mask free except the staff of the hotel which was ridiculous and management needs to do something. Wearing masks in the heat and not seeing staffs faces smiling was sad. I will be back again to this hotel in the future. Thank you so much for a relaxing week.

A good long weekend away

The hotel is in a great location right on the beach and with other bars nearby. There is a shopping centre 10 mins walk away and other shops towards the harbour.
I asked for interconnecting rooms and on arrival told they don't have interconnecting rooms of that type which was frustrating. We had no hot water in our room either but this was sorted the next day.
The hotel is clean and well presented although I'd say the rooms are a little dated looking now.
The selection of food was good, dinner time was the best.
The entertainment was non existent. Our little girl was excited for the kids disco but they didn't run it and the karaoke was cringeworthy although entertaining!
For what we paid it was good value for money, and for 3 nights served us well. I'm not sure I'd want to spend a week in the hotel though as not very much atmosphere and only the one restaurant which was a bit soulless.

Best value hotel in the Canaries!

The exceptional:
Rooms - we stayed in the suite and it was exceptional. All rooms massive, simplistic but comfortable and the balcony was huge. Views over the pool fantastic and a real sun trap. Wonderful place to be when not out in the sun. Cleaned daily too by polite cleaning staff.
Staff - lovely, fluent in english, always there to help where they can.
The hotel - its huge, there is entertainment, 3 pools and a massive dining area.
Location - RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Perfectly placed. Great strip of cafe's/bars righr outside plus a pharmacy.

The ok:
Food - catering for a large quantity of guests, the food isnt fantastic so I'd advise B&B only - plenty of great restaraunts to try in Calete.
A couple of cracked tiles on the balcony - the single flaw i found within the whole hotel.
The pools - salt water and not heated, so freezing at first but absolutely fine once you are acclimatized to it.

Genuinely no big negatives about this place, gutted to go home but will definitely return. 5 minute walk to the main centre but worth it for that beach front location. Fantastic value can be had here, was half the price of some of the more popular hotels in the area. Unrivalled value for money!

Hotel is tired and needs some renovation in key areas. It also lacks any form of atmosphere.

Room was large and overlooked the beach which was the only saving grace for our holiday.

Food was extremly poor at dinner. We ended up eating out most nights to avoid the recycled, luke warm meals. Breakfast was just ok. Should have gone bed and breakfast and saved ourselves the extra money.

Staff were always friendly however and greeted us warmly.

Very Good Place

Very good place practically on the beach. Spacious suite with perfect bay view. Had to ask for extra kitchen items. Very good buffet breakfast. Large pool and a gym.
