Wonderful Place to Stay

I have been going to this property for years. The staff was very friendly, made me like it family. But every time I go to this hotel I get the flu the first night i am there but it doesn't help that the Air Con blows directly on you. The rooms need to be updated. But other than those 2 thing's the hotel is wounderful. Also they took away the free breakfast????

Looks like it use to be great. Now, rundown.

Photos of this location are deceiving. It looks like a clean, beautiful well maintained property and room until you actually see it. The room is not as big as it appears, it is musty, it looks rundown, and the furniture and drapes are old, rundown, and beat up. The balcony door barely closes and the wood is rotting on it. The washroom is not very inviting. The property is not well maintained, the common area's are dark.

Unless this property goes through a major renovation/overhaul, I will not be staying here again.

Had a room road side with one large bed and 2 bunk beds. Room was a bit noisy and in need of updating. Wires to TV were taped together. Small thing - can't flush toilet paper which take getting used to. The location looks great unfortunately we were on back end of a storm so could not take advantage of the ocean as too many waves. The other impact of storm was that there was trash / debris everywhere on the beach. Otherwise the service was great and hosts were very friendly. Probably worth the cost for the location. But not worth it if you can't benefit from the beach.

Not good enough, much less than my expectation.

My family(Parents & 2 kids) got a family room beside road that is quite nosy with many cars and bikes. and… they said no family room for seaside. however, It’s not true I think! and…the swimming pool condition was not good. But… the location is fantastic with Silver beach!

This resort is on a nice little beach that's not as well traveled as Lamai or Chaweng. It is still quite crowded during the day, but it's quieter than the bigger beaches. The water is clear and very shallow--you can't really swim so much as wade--and the floor is more rocky than sandy. They clean up the beach every morning, but there is still quite a lot of trash that accumulates throughout the day on the beach and in the water. There were also stray dogs wandering around at times, not bothering anybody but defecating on the beach.

The rooms are pretty nice, nothing spectacular. Get a room with an ocean view, it's the best part of staying here. The restaurant is not bad. Breakfast is free in the morning and pretty good, the lunch and dinner menu is a little overpriced of course, but not ridiculous, and the food is pretty decent. The best part is, again, the incredible ocean views from the outdoor dining area.

Most of the island's hot spots are not within walking distance

Amazing secluded cove, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but still close enough to everything. Staff at the resort were lovely, made our stay one to remember. The views from our room were second to none. Our balcony was HUGE with comfortable sun chairs and umbrella. Room was very clean and well stocked.

I loved how nice the pool was even though it was a little small. The massages right on the property were also very nice.

I didn’t like how in the picture for the room we purchased it shows how you can walk right on the beach from your room which is not true.

The best is the location.

The location is amazing if you want quiet. The resort could do with improvement. The breakfast is disgusting and the restaurant is also not for me. The rooms could be updated. The noise from the streets (cars ) you hear all the way to the room which leaves the rooms noisy 24/7. What a pity or you could hear the waves crashing.

A Beach to Die For

If you want the best beach, this is it. But get a room with a sea view. Otherwise just visit for the day the non sea view rooms have no view and are dark.

The beach ... it’s nestled a beautiful cove, just longer than a football field. The sand is soft and fine, there’s shade areas, and it’s perfect for wading or swimming. There’s lots of people but not overcrowded because the beach goes back quite a bit. There’s a bar and a few restaurants too.

The room was good but not spectacular. We had a nice balcony to sit on, with a partial view of the cove. Some other rooms had a complete view. The Wifi is the only negative - it’s intermittent and sometimes slow or kicks out. The restaurant is good, with a fantastic view. You must eat there st least once.

The area is in between Chaweng and Lamai, so there’s little shopping and quite limited restaurant choices. The hotel has a free shuttle into Lamai, which is a much busier area with more choices.

Overall, we recommend staying here but get a room with a sea view

We have just returned from an extended stay at Crystal Bay thanks to tropical storm Pabuk, which meant that the airport closed and we had to rearrange our flights. Crystal Bay were a great support - helping us in contacting the respective airlines and promising that they would provide us with a room until we could get a flight home. Nong was especially amazing and couldn't do enough to try and make things as stress free as possible for us.
Aside from this the beach resort is great, and we would highly recommend staying here to anybody - families, couples or singles. All the staff are very friendly, the rooms and facilities are good, the pool is nice and the beach is beautiful.
Reception staff are great at helping with any additional needs, such as taxis, car hire, excursions etc. The hotel also runs a free shuttle between the resort and the nearest town of Lamai.

Great position on the beach. Fairly standard Thai / Western menu, similar offerings further along the beach. Not a great deal to offer on the street out the front, just passing traffic but that lends to a less crowded beach.Get up early and walk the beach before breakfast, beautiful.

The Perfect Spot

The resort is in the perfect spot tucked in a calm little bay on Koh Samui. Away from all the night partying but close enough to everything to still feel connected. Definitely recommend renting scooter to get around, much cheaper and easier than trying to get taxis. If youre not comfortable in your scooter skills, look for cattle wagons to take you everywhere. Our check in to our room was super easy and the room was most definitely worth the money. I recommend spending a little extra and getting a sea view room. Food is good and drinks are great. Perfect beach access and also perfect beach.

A bit rough around the edges, this hotel well and truely makes up for it with its great location right on the great beach. It is a bit of a trek back to things like big Bhudda, but it had friendly staff and a good feel about it. Breakfast adequate.

Got a refund and left quick!

Knew the hotel was going to be basic when we booked but as we couldn't get in to the nicer hotel on the beach we decided to go for it anyway as we had heard that it was on one of the nicest beaches in koh Samui.

Unfortunately the weather turned extremely bad. First morning there we woke up to find that the floor was flooded due to there being big gaps between the door and the frame. The wind had blown rain in with such force that things we had put on the floor the night before were soaking wet.

After breakfast (which is also a shambles by the way!) we had a power cut. Everything stopped. Including the water which runs on a pump. That meant we had no shower and no toilet! Reception said it would a couple of hours which we were fine with.

After two hours we returned to reception as it was still off. They told us that the power was out everywhere and were still waiting. We decided to take a walk down to a restaurant the other end of the beach to see how they were coping. Turns out they had everything working and had all day! our hotel had lied.

5.30pm we had not had power for 6 hours and it was getting dark. Couldn't use anything & had not been offered anything by the hotel, not even a torch! The manager actually laughed at us when we got to speak to him. I asked what we were paying for if not even the toilet could be used. He could't be bothered to deal with us so refunded the money and we packed up quick to head to back to our previous, much nicer, hotel.

Stayed in the grand seaview room and the view from this room is simply to die for. Very spacious room, modern and clean. Breakfast so so and a small pool on the resort. Most beautiful beach on Samui. Not a lot to do in the local area.

Amazing holiday!

We had an absolutely brilliant time at Crystal Bay. Not sure how anyone can give this place a bad rating. The hotel is small and basic but has everything you need. We had a seaview deluxe room which was clean and a decent size. The food is good and the staff very friendly and helpful. The yacht club restaurant is great but more expensive, and the pool there is lovely. But the best bit is the beach. No rubbish at all and not too crowded. Just soft sand and the warm sea. Would go back tomorrow!

Location on quiet beach. HOTEL needs a lot of work. Only 7 Chaise lounge chairs and none on the beach. Had an sea front deluxe room. But the large tree in front blocked our view it just needed trimming. Food was ok. Staff not friendly. Overpriced for the room.

Crystal bay is an amazing spot in Koh Samui and the resort is very nice as well. The staff is very friendly and helping and the hotel itself is in a good condition.
However, the beds are very uncomfortable and the baby cot we got may be suitable to a 3 months old baby but not a 2 year girl like ours.
All in all, we would recommend this place.

Stor skuffelse for min kone og jeg, Dette lille resort ligger klods op af kystvejen, hvilket giver en frygtelig støj. Fra 5.30 om morgenen kunne man slet ikke sove. Alt er selvfølgelig et spørgsmål om pris, men vi havde betalt ca. 900 dk. pr. overnatning med morgenmad, så det er ikke et hostel, og vores forventning var betydelig højere.

Resortet ligger meget flot ud til en dejlig strand. Fantastisk udsigt fra vores terrasse. Vi havde bestilt Beach front. Værelset var pænt stort. Badeværelset var meget stort. Den generelle stand var skuffende. Ikke særlig hyggeligt eller Thai. Morgenmaden var ussel. Her er vi på hostel niveau. Ikke værd at spise, når man nu er på ferie.

Resortet er nusset og bærer præg af, at gæstene er unge og i den meget billige ende.

Kan ikke anbefales på nogen måde, da prisen slet ikke står mål med produktet. Vi forlod stedet efter 1 dag, selv om vi havde betalt for 7 dage. Æv.

l'hôtel est situé dans un cadre paradisiaque et conforme aux photographies du site. le personnel est compètent et très souriant. le petit déjeuner correct. rien a redire sur l'établissement en général. Deux petit bémol : situé sur le bord de la route, donc les chambres attenantes, soumis aux bruits de la circulation, mais rien de bien gênant; l'hôtel manque un peu de rafraichissement. voilà, très bon souvenirs de notre séjour.

Vanuit de beachfront deluxe kamers is het uitzicht adembenemend. Je stapt zo het strand op. Het hotel zelf is zwaar gedateerd en heeft achterstallig onderhoud. Als ik de reviews terug lees van enkele jaren geleden wordt er niets gedaan met de feedback. De eigenaren lijken er weinig zin in te hebben; dit hotel wordt, vanwege de ligging, toch wel geboekt. Jammer hoor, want het heeft een enorme potentie. Het personeel is ook een dingetje; de receptiedames zijn vriendelijk en spreken prima Engels. De ontbijtdames zijn onvriendelijk en brutaal en spreken geen Engels. Terwijl je zo denken dat een "goodmorning"toch zou moeten lukken. Deze dames zouden niet in de hospitality werkzaam moeten zijn, totaal ongeschikt. Conclusie: ondanks het uitzicht voor mij de volgende keer geen Crystal Bay.. .

El hotel ofrece muy buen desayuno ya incluido en la tarifa. Las vistas que tiene este hotel son asombrosas, la mejor playa sin duda en Ko Samui.
El hotel no es nada lujoso ni nada por el estilo, pero vale la pena por la playa tan tranquila y las vistas. Hasta parece Seychelles!

Mooi resort met een klein leuk zwembadje. Je hebt via een paar trappen toegang tot het strand. We hadden een economy kamer, deze was erg gehorig wegens de ligging direct langs een drukke weg. Het ontbijt was gewoontjes, wel lekker.

Es war wunderbar Erholsame Ort und Strand war am Sauberste und Schönste fanden wir.Essen war Ok jedoch fand wir für Verhältnisse preis zu Hoch bei Übernachtung,Essen usw.Meine Tochter schlief auf zusatz Bett da wir zu Dritt waren in einem Zimmer.Erwischte Bettwanzen hatte überall stiche wechselte Neue Bettmatratze inkl.Gestell ohne Probleme.

Abbiamo soggiorno al crystal bay per otto giorni.
I servizi dell’hotel sono confortevoli e il personale disponibile.
Avevamo il volo alla sera e L hotel si è preoccupato di procurarci una camera per farsi una doccia prima di partire.
La colazione continentale buona si passa dal tipico croissant europeo al thai food,tutto molto abbondante.
Posizione ottima per il mare ma un po’ più isolata rispetto alla vita movimentata.

テラス付きビーチフロントに宿泊しました。ビーチ、マッサージ、レストランへすぐのアクセスで便利でした。

テラスからの出入りしかできない部屋でしたがまあそれも良し。海もすぐそばでビーチシュノーケルで魚を見ながらパチャパチャと遊びました。あいにく綺麗な日の出は見られませんでしたが部屋からの景観は良かったです。夕食はレストランで2回、ランチは１回食べましたがあまりおすすめではありません。歩いて5分ぐらいのファミマの前のIl Tempioというイタリア人経営の店が美味しかったです。オススメです。ホテルのマッサージは波の音が聞こえ寝てしまいますよ！3回行きました。全体としてはオススメです。スタッフもフレンドリーでいい感じです。

Traumhafte Bucht

Die Bucht in welcher das Hotel liegt ist atemberaubend schön! Hier kann man sich richtig wohl fühlen! Der Strand ist super sauber und das Wasser klar.
Der Pool ist klein aber erfrischend.
Frühstück war okay, ein bisschen mehr Abwechslung wäre schön gewesen.
Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber. Die Dusche ohne Duschbegrenzung war gewöhnungsbedürftig, ist aber in Thailand wohl normal.
Das Servicepersonal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich.
Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt dort :)

スーツケース持って階段登らないといけない、部屋にドライヤーがない、虫がいるなど、チェックイン時はかなり憂鬱になりましたが、フロントやレストランの人はいい人で、ビーチもキレイで、滞在を楽しめました。部屋タイプはデラックスビーチフロントで、眺めが良かったです。2階だったので、バルコニーから直接ビーチに出られないのが唯一残念でしたが、宿泊者用のビーチチェアが木陰に少しあって重宝しました。海を楽しむホテルとしてはオススメできます

Наверное самый красивый пляж на Самуи. Был хороший номер, убирали каждый день. Хороший wifi.
Из минусов - скудный завтрак, отель как проходной двор для всех желающих посетить пляж.

Hotel doskonale położony w satysfakcjonującej cenie. Pokoje przestronne i czyste (wszystko działa) ze wspaniałym widokiem. Śniadania niezbyt bogate ale ok.
Codziennie 2 butelki wody, ale jeśli nie wypiłeś wczorajszej to obsługa wyjmie ją z lodówki i położy na blacie jako nową (czyli ciepłą - ja tam wolę zimną)
Na minus: część obsługi zachowuje się jakby została zesłana za karę, kolejnym minusem są tabuny turystów przechodzących przez hotel, którzy przyjeżdżają z całej wyspy na plażę. Kręcą się w tam i z powrotem nie korzystając z restauracji i masaży na co liczy hotel a powodują tylko brak komfortu - zauważyłem że obiekt obok nie zezwala na coś takiego.

Bon petit dej: croissant, melon d’eau, ananas, oeufs et bien plus ( en plus des plats thailandais).
Belle vue de l’hôtel et belle PETITE plage. Très confortable.

Bester Strand auf Ko Samui

Das Hotel war in Ordnung. Es handelt sich jedoch nicht um ein Luxus-, sondern um ein Mittelklassehotel.

Das Hotel punktet durch seine Lage am Silver Beach. Dieser gehört zu den schönsten Stränden auf Ko Samui. Wir haben davon nur wenige dieser Art gesehen.

Das Frühstück hat das nötigste zu bieten und offeriert auch eine kleine Auswahl thailändischer Gerichte.
Im Restaurant würden wir nicht mehr essen. Der Service und die Qualität des Essens sind nur befriedigend und die Preise zu hoch.
Dafür entschädigen zwei bis drei leckere und einfache Thai-Restaurants in 300 bis 500 Meter Entfernung sowie das Luxus-Restaurant The Cliff die kulinarischen Begebenheiten.

綺麗な岩場ビーチのホテル

ホテルの部屋は綺麗にしてあり、広さも充分です。
ツインベッドのお部屋はないので、クィーンサイズのベッドになりますが、快適でした。
バスタブはありません。
アメニティはシャンプーとボディーソープのみ。
朝食も質素ですが、コスパは最高です。
シービュールームを予約したので、バルコニーからすぐ海に出れます。
ホテルに色々期待しなければ快適だと思います。
ちなみに、ホテルの周りにはお店はありません。
有名なクリフバーは歩いて行ける距離ですが、幹線道路を歩かないといけないので、ちょっと危ないかも！

Hotelzimmer für 1 Nacht ok aber bei einem längeren Aufenthalt rate ich von dem Standardzimmer ab. Wir waren ganz unten mit Fenster zur viel befahrenen Straße und mit einer Holztür und einem weiteren Fenster wo man Ausblick auf eine dunkle Nische und Betonwand hatte und insgesamt waren viele Mücken im Zimmer und keinerlei Mückenschutz weder am Fenster noch am Bett vorhanden. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sahen zumindest von außen viel besser aus. Schöne Bucht mit klarem Wasser. WLAN funktionierte gut.

Nydelig plass, rolige omgivelser

Veldig flott plass og greie spisemuligheter ved hotell og strand. Liten spasertur på 15 min så var man i shoppinggatene. Stille og rolig plass. Litt tam frokost. Ikke noe kjøttpålegg og melken som sto fremme var varm, så redd for å bli dårlig om vi drakk den. Komforten var i utgangspunktet veldig bra, men veldig harde puter i sengen og tynn dyne på deling skapte noen utfordringer.

L'hôtel est situé sur une belle plage. Mais l'hôtel et l'accueil sont situés presque en bord de route, il y a peine de la place pour y mettre son scooter et cela parait limite dangereux. Nous avions une chambre avec une belle vue mer mais les chambres sont vieillottes et auraient besoin d'un bon coup de neuf. La propreté était plus que limite dans la salle de bain, et surtout il n'y a pas vraiment d'eau chaude. Le restaurant et la piscine sont petits. Pas beaucoup de rangement dans la chambre. En fait, nous sommes très déçus au regard du prix payé! Heureusement le personnel est très aimable et disponible
