The rest of the staff are not as helpful.
Breakfast is basic and cold.
Beautiful room with nice view but comes with a steep, uneven steps with no shops near by.

“Mee” and her staff were amazing! Beautiful views from the property and were so helpful with organizing day trips, ferry rides, and scooters to rent delivered to the hotel. Completely hassle free and ensured a pleasant stay and experience.

Highly recommend renting a scooter as it is a little off the beaten path and requires walking a few hundred metres to the nearest main road.

We enjoyed our stay here. This is in a very secluded location and quiet. The manager arranged transport for us to get around. The happy hour was great. The accommodation is good value for money and the staff want to ensure guests are happy and comfortable.

The resort is on a remote portion of the beach where the water is very shallow and there are next to no waves. The beach and pool area are beautiful. The resort is per the photos. The only drawback to this resort is that it is very isolated from other shops and restaurants.

Our trip started badly when our booked pick up driver from Cinnamon Beach failed to show up at the airport. We got a taxi for the same price. On arrival we found, like others, we didn’t get the beach villa we booked but a penthouse 3 stories up. We ended negotiating a villa behind the beach front one. Nice but no hot water for two days so then we were moved to the villa behind that one. Nice room with an outdoor shower but air con was woeful. The room didn’t get under 27 degrees. The staff were very nice. The food was pretty good. The pool lovely. Beach was very average and you are a long walk from the town center, about 30 to 40 minutes. Wi-Fi very average! Probably better places to stay to be honest.

Cinnamon villas are set in a beautiful location, overlooking the ocean. The pool is lovely and the beach is swimmable at high tide. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms are spacious & comfortable with great views over the ocean. Breakfast is simple but good- theyll serve bacon & eggs if requested. Cinnamon is away from the main road and a fair distance from Lamai beach. Youll need transport to get around. There are no grocery stores close by. The hotel will help arrange taxis into Lamai beach for 200 baht one way.

Property is not like the Photos on site , Pictures over ten years old , also building working going in , but not told before travelling . New owner , staff where very nice and helpful , but don't make up for the fact it's not has shown on site , very dirty , Aircon was so our of date just didn't work , and our room was 34c second morning. So we checked out, hopefully getting our refund . Should only be 1star rating , we paid £97 per night , never worth it , perhaps £40 . Location excellent , but clearly no one checking standard of cleaning being done , our rain shower dripped not rained , blocked. , Shower screen not been cleaned for months , and when we moved the long curtains , it's was filthy behind them , also they never mentioned if you have slight mobility problem you would not be able to use beach or pool or lower bar or bungalows . All in all a very big over sell and fib .

Quiet End of the Bay ...

Great stay at Cinnamon. Was in a quiet and out of the way location at the end of Lamai Bay. We were a little worried at first that it was too far from everything but walking the beach to Lamai was easy, but don't leave the walk back too late or the tide will have come in and you will get wet !!
Loved our upgrade to beachfront villa and the staff and management were extremely helpful. Breakfast was basic but sufficient with fresh cooked eggs & omelettes to your liking. I wouldn't recommend to those who have mobility issues as the resort is on a steep hill with steps to most villas and restaurant. Pool was located on beach level and clean. Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but the bed was comfy and the bathroom and room was spacious. This end of the bay does spend most of the day with the tide out so don't expect to swim in front of the hotel. There was plenty of restaurants along the beach and close by also a great little local massage hut next door, the ladies there were lovely and did a great job. We did love our stay here, don't expect a big resort feel as it is a small hotel but if you are after a nice quiet and intimate stay then give them a go. Easy car hire too delivered to your door and the manager helped with all arrangements that we needed to do some tours and hire the car etc.

Worst beach ever!

1.5 Star hotel at best. This hotel does not have current photos posted. The beach is the worst!!! very disappointed in the hotel as It is in need of renovation. The AC in the room did not work. I called and reported it 2 days in rows to no avail. The bathroom in A2 is the most cumbersome tub I have ever seen. I actual slipped and fell getting out. It is so poorly done that the floor gets soaked with water when you shower. We also had a larger villa with a broker shower faucet. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Amazing hotel on Koh Samui!

I was so pleased with this hotel. The man who helped us check in was so friendly and booked us our ferry and transport for the next day to Koh Phangan. Our room had a balcony with a stunning view of the ocean, and the pool was clean and refreshing. There was also a bar on the beach with very cheap beer and friendly staff who recommended a delicious dinner a short walk down the beach. We would love to come back and highly recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent if you just want to chill out.

We spent seven nights at cinnamon beach villas staff were very friendly and helpful especially the manager. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the view from the balcony is superb. Breakfast is good and you can eat in the hotel restaurant in the evening if you choose to. The location is superb if you just want to relax round the pool and walk on the beach. However if you like to go out at night the only option is to get a taxi into lamai at a cost of 300 baht each way. Also this hotel is not suitable for anyone who has difficulty with steps as you need to go down approx 50 uneven steps to get from the reception to the pool and beach. You also need to go down approx 15 uneven steps to get to the restaurant.

Stunning views from the room, and an amazing manager and staff who made everything very pleasant for us.

The area is very quiet and peaceful.

Try the fried rice and Curry in the restaurant, Very fresh, cheap and delicious :)

Hotel close to beach

Very hospitable staff but the let down is the hike from the main road to the hotel. If you have a scooter or hire vehicle on the island then I would recommend it for going to and from the hotel as you will need strong calf muscles to get out of the villa.
I paid for a deluxe sea view room which was heavily obscured by trees and plants. There was a cockroach in the room and the shower lacked hot water and pressure. Could have been so much better

We feel welcome even before we arrived I had the hotel arrange a pickup from airport.
Restaurant.
The breakfast is fine and it is possible to order omelet, scrambled egg, pancake etc
Maybe a little more bread instead of just toast bread, but fresh fruit an good coffee.
For dinner/evening they are making very good Thai food and they make all the tradition Thai cuisine with fresh ingredients, try it at least one time.
The manager is very helpful to arrange trips and it is possible to rent a scooter from the hotel.

Perfect hillside getaway

This is ideal for couples or families that want to get away from it all. Resorts next to here are 3-4 times the cost with basically the same amenities, view and beach access. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist us. My fiancée and I highly recommend it this resort!

Since arrival, everything was more than what I expected. The owner/manager was fantastic and even upgraded my room the the penthouse. The room itself is nice and clean and spacious. The view from the rather large balcony is absolutely stunning! The swimming pool is great right on front of the beach. There are a couple of restaurants in the area and its easy to go to Lamai beach via taxi which can easily be arranged for only 200 Bhat. In total, this has been a great experience and I will happily come here again any time!

This hotel was really nice, but it's a decent walk from the main part of Lamai Beach. I suggest renting a scooter form the hotel, but unless you're comfortable going up and down hills on a scooter, walking might be a better option. Taxi's from this area can be a bit costly, but if you walk down to the main road you can negotiate a better price with the taxi driver. Overall, this hotel is great if you're looking for somewhere quiet and secluded for a few days.

Shallow beach and way down low pool.

To go swimming at the beach you have to walk out very very far. Stays shallow for a long time. The pool is down a lot of big steps. In the heat we couldn't be bothered doing the big walk down and walk back up. We were on a higher floor. Staff friendly and helpful though.

Luxury on the beach

Set in beautiful planting overlooking Lamai beach, rooms are well presented and staff can't do too much for you. Beach access is down a few flights of steps through gardens and past swimming pool. This the nice quiet end of Lamai beach but there are still restaurants and bars that you can walk to. Staff can arrange anything for you such as taxi, hire car, laundry and trips. Had a lovely stay and would really recommend it.

Out of the way gem

The hotel is a bit remote although right on its own beach. You do need a taxi to get places - we did walk it most days but the shortest walk was about 20 minutes just to get to the main road and Lamai beach would have been another 40 plus minutes.

The rooms are well appointed and clean albeit dated but the views are incredible and make it all worthwhile. The staff is wonderful and extremely hospitable and helpful. They made our stay truly pleasurable. There are kayaks available for use, which was great. The beak fast was good and varied, often with a Thai dish thrown in the mix of the regular continental fair and the staff is extremely accommodating with any dietary issues.

Overall, a great place to stay at.

The staff were lovely and manager helpful however we were utterly disappointed as our room looked nothing like the photos. We were looking forward to what we thought would be a beautiful hotel, from all the pictures. However, on arrival, the room was basic, the pool area was run down and the bar didn't have any drinks available except for a questionable bottle of remainders of rum and a fridge of beers. It says it all when every pool lounger is facing away from the resort/pool and towards the sea! The view was stunning, though, and made up for the down sides. A beautiful and quiet part of Koh Samui, but a dark walk to any other shops and restaurants with lots of stray dogs! I wish I could be more positive as the manager was so sweet, but the whole hotel needs a bit of TLC or the photos need to be more honest.

Very nice small resort in lamai

This is a perfect resort for a couple or young family. You do need a scooter or a car if you want to do something else than the resort beach and swimming pool, and for lunch and diner, but the place itself is lovely. The room was very clean with a superb ocean view. The staff is very helpful and the owner really friendly. It's located a few minutes from larger (more lively) resorts and Lamai, while providing the quietness you may want at night. Perfect for us!

VERY BAD EVERYTHING

You will not like this hotel whatsoever. You will be the only one to stay at this some sort of resort between the hours of 8PM and 8AM. The electricity turn off every morning for about 30 minutes. We paid for a room with breakfast and there was no breakfast in the morning whatsoever. We asked for an iron and ironing board which they said was available on request. We requested it but none were available. There are no lights when it gets dark and must use your own cell phone or flashlight to see where you are going. Just too many bad things to list about this hotel and hope nobody will have to go through the same.

The one of the worst experiences I had going to there hotel I just couldn't believe I saw that theywon a certificate saying it's meant to be a 5.5 star which I totally disagree the rooms where in such a poor condition all me and my partner want to do there was just sleep until we got in to our original hotel at the q signature the location is in the middle if no where luckly we had our own car the beach is just dead nothing going in there now would I suggest this hotel to anyone well if the really want to be disappointed we'll go there one thing I'm gonna say is I will never stay there again

I will make this review to the point. If you arrive to the island on a boat definitely have a taxi take you to this hotel, it is very difficult to locate on your own. Later you can either rent a motorbike in the hotel or have a taxi pick you up to take you elsewhere. I personally rented a motorbike is much fun! The staff in the hotel is very helpful, breakfast western style, eggs at your choice. You have 24 hr. massage service (make sure you have cash) in front of beach or in your room. The receptionist speaks limited English but its enough to make your self clear. Unless you tell him you need to speak with somebody after hours, he will arrange help for you. The place is really quite, natural, modern and beautiful. You actually feel you are in true Thailand, it is very romantic, and extremely private. You feel safe all the time. Beach is never crowded. its actually 10 min from any location that is fun (bars, clubs, etc) . On the beach you have 4 other restaurants and you can use the Residence hotel restaurant, no problem. Last restaurant service on the beach is at 11pm. The view of the beach is beautiful. The beach is shallow with lots of rocks underneath. Although you can’t see them up above, there are everywhere, not here but in all the island. The sand its not 100% white, but it is definitely white brown (its like that in all the island) from what we noticed, if you want true white sand, go to Koh tao. We stay in a balcony room over viewing the ocean. Wifi, works fast.

Amazing Secluded Great Views

Had a great stay there. The guy at the front desk was amazing and took care of everything we needed, including scooter rentals directly at the hotel. The beach was a little rocky but every beach around there was the same. The pool was nice but bar didn't open until 6pm. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. It was nice being a little away from the busy main street and easy to get to everything else with the scooters we rented or taxi. I got upgraded up to the penthouse unit which was amazing. It has a private large deck with daybed and amazing view of the surrounding beach and other hotels.

Great Views, but Hotel needs improving.

Hotel service was great, they also have scooters for hire as the hotel is a bit of distance to the main road, wouldn't suggest walking. The room was nice, with a great view. However, breakfast was average and had very little variety. The shower over the bath had no pressure and was unusable but the other shower worked fine. Air con was noisy in our room. Would have preferred a ceiling fan instead. During the windy nights I found it very hard to sleep as there was a loud noise in the roof which sounded like large plastic sheets being blown around.

AMAZING STAFF

We had a blast here. Get ready for a little hike down hill to the secluded resort.
The staff is SO friendly. Rooms are clean. We had our laundry done here as well. OMG I wish they offered that in the states. It was totally worth it!
The breakfast was delicious!
Rooms are spacious.
We rented mopeds from here as well. So cool! Make sure to have a motorcycle permit/license to prove though.
The shower was very comfortable. Half glass shower. Very traditional in Thailand.

First-class service at a honeymoon-style private-beach getaway

It has a private beach far from everything else, but it's not sandy. It has much room for exploring the nearby water boulders or finding crabs in the shallow water using the complimentary kayaks. Young children would have MUCH room for walking around in the water, especially during low-tide. There's a warm pool with a small bar near it. Very good breakfast. We received VIP treatment, possibly because there were so few people during the off-season (October). My wife and I had a wonderful time.

The place was somewhat run by a family with a very curious owner. Everybody was incredibly helpful with everything we needed. We did get the feeling that we were being slightly overcharged for taxi service (friends of the family?) and we had no recourse due to our remote location. Also, if you have trouble walking up or down stairs, recommend you avoid the place. They're not excessive, but maybe two-dozen stairs are present and unavoidable.

A wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful hotel to visit. The rooms are big, there is sofa, minibar and a balcony with stunning wiew over Lamai beach and beautiful sunsets. It is a wonderful quiet area, no boats because of the shallow waters, no disco, no heavy music. Really nice. It is quite far from bars and restaurants so you should have a car or motorbike. We did not have it, but we also used Boltapp which works really nice. The swimmingpool is nice, with beautiful scenery. On arrival they give you a really sweet cinnemon welcomedrink which is delicious in the heat. It is a bit dark to walk on the road in the evening. The beach is really nice to walk, but you can only go a bit of the beach because of big rocks. The staff is really kind and helpful. We felt very welcome and had a great stay.

Ein kleines , sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel, bei Ebbe ein großer Strand, keine Jetsky, paragliding oder Strandverkäufer die einem auf die Nerven gehen. Einfach ruhig.

Lækkert hotel, men meget kuperet, der er vel 30 højdemeter fra hotel reception til morgenmadsrestaurant

Desuden burde måske fremgå af beskrivelsen, at der var 1-2 km til nærmeste shoppingsted

Cet hôtel offre une prestation correcte mais attention la qualité baisse un peu ( nous y sommes allés il y a 4 et 3 ans ) .
Pas beaucoup de débit d’eau dans la douche et lavabo, petit déjeuner vraiment simple.
L’eau de la piscine n’était pas très claire ....
Par contre le personnel est top niveau 👍
Scooter obligatoire pour ce déplacer.

Nice hotel, amazing sunset

Good places to stay in Koh Samui with amazing view on the sunset at the end of the day.

The hotel location is perfect if you want too escape the two too busiest beach close by. Best option is to rent of motorbike at the hotel too move easily in the island,

Staff is really nice and helpfull. There is still some construction in the hotel so be prepare to have so noise during the day Also on the beach just next to the swimming pool you have a couples of other restaurants directly accessible from the beachside

Sérénité absolue dans un cadre idyllique.

Endroit idyllique où la faune et la flore sont maîtres. Accueil chaleureux à la réception, le personnel est charmant et serviable.
Seul bémol, la marée est basse durant la journée, impossible de se baigner.

Ein Traum und mit Sicherheit wieder. Der vermeintliche Mangel Frühstück traf nicht zu, da das Frühstück im Freien nur teilweise der Wärme ausgesetzt wird. Nehm ich allein das Optische, so sieht es als Notfrühstück aus. Sag ich der Bedienung, dass ich Wurst, Reis usw möchte, gibt es dies binnen Sekunden. Wer zu schüchtern ist, verpasst das Beste. Die Mannschaft aus 10 Personen, macht alles mäglich !!!

Sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt.
Wir waren in der der Beach Villa, sehr gute Lage direkt nebenan war der Pool (ruhig!). Die Villa könnte aber eine Renovierung gebrauchen, Innen und um die Villa. Für uns war es dennoch sauber und schön.
Die Liegen stehen direkt im Villa Garten mit Blick auf das Meer.
Größe der Villa top!
Manager sehr hilfsbereit.
Roller vom Hotel sind sehr gut.
Hier wird auf jeden Fall ein Roller benötigt.
Sehr steil und zu Fuß anstrengend.

Wir haben beim Einchecken ein Update in ein sehr großes, schönes Zimmer mit unglaublich schönem Blick bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich!

Cominciamo dai pregi vista spettacolare sulla baia di Lamai . Pregi finiti . per il resto posizione scomoda lontani da tutto, condizioni generali del’hitel Molto in decadenza, colazione scarsa e anonima , personale scarso e poco preparato , Wi-Fi lento ed intermittente . Nel complesso da evitare oltretutto rapporto qualità prezzo carissimo

Traumhafte Aussicht

Ein wunderschönes kleines Hotel mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Der Manager kümmert sich um alle Belange wie selbstverständlich. Ein wenig abgelegen aber mit dem Roller welchen man auch im Hotel mieten kann ist man in ein paar Minuten überall zugegen. Frühstück ist qualitativ sehr gut, für einen längeren Aufenthalt könnte es ein wenig Abwechslungsreicher sein. Personal ist mega freundlich und verschönert einem so den Tag. Pool sind mit Handtücher und Liegen ausgestattet. Strand ist sehr schön allerdings zum Schwimmen durch die vielen Korallen nur mit Badeschuhe zu benutzen. Tipp.... ab auf den Roller, 5 Minuten fahren und zum Black Moon Beach Club mit Bar, Liegen und Musik legen. Am Strand beim Hotel gibt es auch gemütliche Bars und Massagen. Im Ganzen schneidet das Hotel mit einem SUPER ab, da es eine traumhafte Ausicht mit den besten Sonnenauf und abhängen hat. An unserem Deluxe Zimmer war nichts auszusetzen. Jeden Tag wurde geputzt und die Wäsche gewechselt. Wir waren rundum begeistert. Für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität ist es nicht geeignet.

Visual maravilhoso

Hotel lindo. Quarto grande com uma vista maravilhosa. Fiquei no B6. Alugamos Moto no hotel por 200 Baht. Localizado em uma praia linda chamada Lamai. Café da manhã com varias opções. Recomendo o hotel e se voltar a Koh Samui me hospedarei nesse hotel outra vez.

Mooi penthouse met fantastisch uitzicht over zee

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in Cinnamon. Het ontbijt was prima en we hebben er een aantal keren ook heerlijk geluncht en gedineerd. Het eten werd telkens vers bereid! Om bij het zwembad en op het strand te komen moesten we flink veel trappen af, maar gelukkig waren we allemaal goed ter been. Vanaf het heerlijk rustig gelegen resort moesten we een half uurtje langs het strand lopen om bij het drukke Lamai Beach te komen. Vaak pakten we op de terugweg een taxi voor THB 300. De eigenaar was erg behulpzaam en stond altijd voor ons klaar. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Just if you in shape and can drive on motorcycle.

The hotel location is pretty far from everything. You must to rent motorcycle or order a text just to get out of the hotel. Its in a quite area with good view, but very humble breakfast. There's a lot of stairs to get to anywhere (Room, Breakfast, Pool, Beach, Out of the hotel). The room we got was big and nice bed, Shower was in bad condition

Schönes Strandhotel mit toller Aussicht

Wir waren für 3 Nächte im Cinnamon Beach Villas. Der Check-In lief schnell und reibungslos ab. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Bad war sehr modern und das Zimmer sehr sauber. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Balkon mit fantastischem Ausblick über die Bucht von Lamai.
Der Hotelmanager ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, er buchte uns sofort auf Nachfrage ein Fährenticket. Roller können auch direkt an der Unterkunft für 200THB gemietet werden. Genau wie der Check-In, lief auch der Check-Out schnell und einfach ab.
